Delivery cost Valuation variant

Hello
I have done all customizing for delivery cost in the costing variant with diffrent origin,
I have created info record with delivery condition. However it does not pick up delivery cost as a different origin.
I will appreciate if someone know the reason.

Hi
In your Costing Variant - Choose Strategy Sequence as L
System would open few more fields below.. Choose desired strategy there....
Below this, you will find a button for "Delivery Cost"... Click here and you need to assign your Val Variant, Comp Code, Cond Type, etc to Origin group...
With this setting, it would pick up the Origin group in CK11n

  • Contents of new costing variant, valuation variant and costing sheet not getting transported

In our development client,I have created a new costing variant, a new valuation variant and a new costing sheet in separate transports.
When I release the transports to move into the Test client, the contents of the configuration are not getting transported at all.
I tried to do them again manually using  Table view - Transport , but again, if I view the transports in SE10,they don't show the table contents, etc.
Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

    Ajay,
Let me make sure I understand.
Create a new TR using SE01
Go to transaction OKKN (costing variant)
Select the costing variant and then choose Table view - transport
    Provide the transport number
At what point to I say 'include in request'
If I try to use the menu option Edit-Transport-Include in request in the beginning itself, the 'Include in request' is greyed out.
    This is where I'm stuck

    Hi,
Every cost estimate we create is based on the costing variant.
In the costing variant we define the control parameters and settings for costing
Settings contains info such as prices that will be used to cost the materials and activities
Control parameters are used for the automatic determination of of qty str ie Bom and Routing
Every costing variant contains a valuation variant and a costing type , date control , qty str control.
    Valuation variant:
Valuation variant defines the price with which the material and activities are valuated
determines 1.which price is taken from material masterrecord to calculate the material cost
    2.
which price is taken from cost center accounting to calculate the costs for internal activities
    3. which price is taken from purchasing info rec to calculate the the costs for ext activities / subcontracting
    4. which costing sheet is used to calculate the over head costs
    Costing type:
costing type defines the valuation view to be costed and defines the purpose of costing.
    Date control :
controls the validity of the cost estimste , qty str date.
    Valuation class:
For material costing the valuation class controls the cost element to which the planned cost of the material are assigned and the cost element under which the actual costs are updated when the material produced is delivered to stock
    Valuation category:
specified the criteria according to which partial stocks are distinguished from one another
    Price control indicator:
the price control indicator specifies whether the stock of the material is valuated with standard price or moving avg price
      costing sheet:
The costing sheet links all the functions for overhead calculation.
In the costing sheet we determine the following
1.The direct costs to which the over head is applied
2.The condition under which the over head is applied
3.Whether the over head is applied as a percentage basis or on a qty basis
        4.The amt of overhead percentage
5.The validity period of the over head
6.Which object is credited ( order , cost center) and which cost element in the case of actual posting
We enter  the costing sheet in the valuation variant in customising

  • Valuation Variant - Quotation Price via Condition Table

    Hi all,
Regarding cost estimate in SAP, there are valuation variants. The strategy sequence "Price from Purchasing Info Record" is one step in the material valuation strategy sequence of our  valuation variant PP01. There is also a sub strategy sequence with this Puchasing Info Record Valuation called "Quotation Price via Condition Table".
What does the mean, where can I find this condition table and how will the price be calculated??? Can anybody help me please?
    Thanks,
    Anne

Create origin group via Tcode OKZ1 and then assign the conditions that you want to include in product costing in Tcode OKK4.
In OKK4 by clicking delivery costs or create new icon you will get a popupform which can be used to input chosen conditions as follows.
    PB00     0     200     1000     1000     1000     PR01
We are using it to calculate material price excluding excise duty (sort of withholding tax which can be reclaimed so will not form part of material cost)

  • Pp-actual costing/valuation varient

    Hi all,
A-----Finished product mfgd & sold from plant X
B-----SemiFinished product mfgd from plant Y & procured to plant X, for the mfg of product A.
    BOM of A contains B.
B is maintained in both the plants X & Y, with the sp proc key 40 in plant X with issuing plant as Y.
During order/preliminary costing, I want that the component A & B both should be valuated based on the mvg avg price maintaied in the material master.
The valuation varient is having the required settings as---- moving average price for the required order type.
But the same is not working. The order costing is taking only the standard price.
<b>Can anybody help me on this??</b>

    Hi
Please maintained the strategy <b>valuation price according to price control in material master</b> in valuation variant

I need to have a report for the paid delivey costs(planned and unplanned) for the given pos.
    2.
Is there any std transaction which can give the list of fast moving items based on movement types?
Please help me, it is very urgent.
    Your help is appreciated.
    Regards,

    Hi,
For Delivery Cost look in Table EKBZ ,EKBZH.For Fast moving item use the T Code MCBE (also MCBA,MCBC)in which you can find the fields like number of valuated stock receipts and issue and also number of movements .Selecting a given period range if the number of movemnets is sorted in descending order the maximum moved material can be found.

  • Question on unplanned delivery costs need to go to GL account ????

    Hello
I have a question regarding unplanned deliver costs. I am a FI analyst  Can you please explain my how I can solve my problem . My user wants unplanned delivery costs to go in to the GL account .
In MM account determination GL account is set up but when I am doing MIRO
. I am putting  total amount in amount field and freight costs in unplanned field under ‘detail ‘ section.
When I simulate it gives me ‘tax code ‘ related warning when I hit enter it credit vendor and debits  GR/IR clearing and some debit  to inventory  account but not  to freight account,
What’s  the problem. Can someone explain me :
    1)     What do I need to do to make it go to GL account ( account is set up but what is tax code related error . how do I fix that,
    2)     How does unplanned delivery costs work if I have tax, discount and freight.
    3)     Is tax calculated off total amount (inventory + freight) and discount too. How can I prevent that so that my tax is calculated just on inventory amount?
    4)     DO I have to put total in amount field (meaning inventory amount + fright ) or not .
I will be grateful if someone can guide me towards right direction. Please give me a detailed answer. How does it work???
    Thanks
    Kavita Reddy

in standard setting the freight amount gets debit in the stock or inventoy account and gets credit in the fright accoutn at the time fo gr so it means the amount of frieght is gettting invenotrised
now at the time of IV IN MIRO SYSTEM CREDITS THE VENDOR ACCOUNT AND DEBITS THE GR/IR account
if u want to settele the planned delivery cost then select the laout variant for the planned delivery at item level
or in case if u want to make use of the unplanned delivery cost then u r doing the right step
but as u simulate the g/l accounts sytem will debit the inventory or stock account for it  rather then frieght account (i belive so )
as the uplanned delivery cost may be getting inventorised that is added to the material price
and as u said u dont want to have tax calulated on the unplanned delivery cost then i suggest u to post it as subsequent debit and there do not make use of the claulate tax option or do the direct posting for the g/l account option

  • VI01 as delivery costs in MIGO

    Hi all,
We have to change de Automatic PO generated in Shipment costs for Shipment costs as delivery costs during goods receipt.
We have applied de SAP Note 427944.
    . M/06
Condition type: 'B' delivery costs (T685A-KNTYP field)
    Accrual: 'X' (T685A-KRUEK field)
    Copy shp.costs: 'X' (T685A-BNKTK field)
. Entries in the calculation schema: (IMG -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Conditions -> Define Price- Determination Process -> Define Calculation Schema)
    In the calculation schema, an
    1. Account key (T683S-KVSL1 field)
    2. Account key - accruals/provisions (Field T683S-KVSL2)
must be specified for the corresponding condition type (similar to the FRB1 condition type in schema RM0000). Note that this condition is always marked as 'statistical' in the condition screen of the purchase order regardless of the settings in the price schema because it is an accrual.
. Purchase order: The condition type should not be valuated in the purchase order item, that is, the condition value is 0.
. Shipment status: The overall status of the shipment cost calculation for all affected
shipments must be 'C' (that is, complete).
    Calculated      C  Fully calculated
Assigned        C  Account assignment fully completed
    Transferred     C transferred
    . In T_56 the
u201D Rate of Automatic Processingu201D V_TVFTK-PRZST is D Release shipment cost item
If u201CRelevant for settlementu201D V_TVFT-ABREL is A relevant for settlement (delivery costs) them the status are only
Calculated      C  Fully calculated     but in MIGO there is no  ACCOUNTING OF THE DELIVERY COSTS
If u201CRelevant for settlementu201D V_TVFT-ABREL is X relevant for settlement (G/L account) them the status are
    Calculated      C  Fully calculated
Assigned        C  Account assignment fully completed
Transferred     A  Not transferred   and in MIGO there is no  ACCOUNTING OF THE DELIVERY COSTS
    The process is :
    ME21N
    VL31N
    VT02N (automatically)
VI01 (no PO automatically as before)
MIGO material GR for the inbound delivery of VL31N AND accounting of the delivery costs. THE ACCOUNTING OF THE DELIVERY COSTS is missing why??
    Someone can help?
    Cheers
    marta

    Hi,
Just to clarify my questions. In  the note 427944 explain that
1 . Shipment status: The overall status of the shipment cost calculation for all affected shipments must be 'C' (that is, complete).
*It means that the 3 status must be : Calculated C Fully calculated + Assigned C Account assignment fully completed + Transferred C transferred ?*
    Other thing:
2 *. In T_56 the u201D Rate of Automatic Processingu201D V_TVFTK-PRZST must be D Release shipment cost item?*
    3. In T_56  If u201CRelevant for settlementu201D V_TVFT-ABREL is A relevant for settlement (delivery costs) them the status showed in VI01 are only Calculated C Fully calculated b
If u201CRelevant for settlementu201D V_TVFT-ABREL is X relevant for settlement (G/L account) them in VI01 the status are Calculated C Fully calculated /Assigned C Account assignment fully completed / Transferred A Not transferred. *Why I can not do the transfer?*
as is Transferred A Not transferred them in MIGO there is no ACCOUNTING OF THE DELIVERY COSTS.
Could you help me with one of these three questions?
    Thank you very much,

  • LE-TRA Shipment costs as inbound delivery costs, goods receipt

    Hello gurus:
We are facing the following scenario, regarding inbound transportation.
We plan our shipment document and shipment  costs, and they feature several items. Each of those items represent a shipping service, which in certain cases be taken on different countries by the same service agent.
That is, we have a service X on country A, with tax indicator 1, and service Y on country B, with tax indicator 2.
Both services would need to be transferred as delivery costs to the purchase order.
According to note 427944, shipment cost value is cumulated by service agent., so that it looks impossible to get the values broken up to the purchase order, which would be the first step to subsequently get the right tax indicators for each item of the shipment.
Even using different condition types on the shipment cost document, system cumulates by service agent and transfers to the first condition found on the purchase order schema.
Has any of you faced similar issue? Any workaround possible?.
Thanks in advance for your valuable help.
    David Ramos.
    PORCELANOSA MM.
This is the section of note 427944 that indicates the treatment of the shipment costs in the purchase order,
Transfer the shipment costs into the condition types of the purchase order:
The shipment cost value (without tax amounts) is cumulated for all relevant shipment cost documents
for each service agent and transferred to a corresponding condition type of the purchase order item.
Before cumulation, the amounts are first converted into the purchase order currency.
    1. A transfer of the values for each condition type (similar to the transfer from a shipment
cost document to the SD billing document) is not supported.
    2. If different service agents exist in the shipment cost documents, a corresponding number of
condition lines (with value 0) must be specified in the purchase order item. These can always
belong to the same condition type (in schema 'Manual') or also to different condition types (not
    'Manual'):
    a) Manual condition lines: If the condition type in the schema of the purchase order is
marked as 'manual', the condition type must be created (with value 0) in the purchase order
item before the goods receipt. If delivery costs are expected from different service agents,
several non-valuated entries must be generated for this condition type. If more condition
lines exist than required, these are then no longer taken into account. If condition lines
are missing, the last service agents are not settled.
    - Advantage: You only have to define one condition type for the delivery costs.
    - Disadvantage: Each purchase order must be processed manually before the goods receipt.
    b) Automatic condition lines: If the condition lines are to be generated automatically for
the delivery costs (the condition type is not flagged as 'Manual' in the schema), the schema
must have enough condition types to settle several service agents. If more condition lines
exist than required, these are then no longer taken into account. If condition lines are
missing, the last service agents are not settled.
    - Advantage: The goods receipt can be carried out without manual preparation beforehand in
    the purchase order.
    - Disadvantage: You must define identical condition types with different names.

    Hi,
If you refereed the OSS Note 427944 correctly it explains how the shipment cost can be transferred to delivery cost based on some pre-requisite.
Like the value for PO should be >0
Like the service agent is involved during shipment liability, then there should be cumulative transfer for each value which will update based on shipment cost if PO value is "0".
The shipment cost will be delivered to all delivery items based on weight.
If you want to enhance this then you need to use the enhancement V54KSFRC to update the values as per your requirement.

  • Delivery costs on Goods Receipt

I have a client requirement for delivery costs on a Goods Receipt.  They use large on-going PO's and do partial GR's on them for years.  The PO's are based on outline agreements and the pricing (including the delivery cost) comes from the outline agreement.
They want to have a flat rate delivery cost on every GR done on that PO.  I have configured a new condition type (ZRB1), copied from FRB1 and have played around with many of the settings.  No matter what I do, it still wants to prorate the delivery.
A developer looked at the Goods Receipt transactions and there does not appear to be any user exists where we can override the delivery cost calculation.
We also looked at setting up an alternate calculation type in the calculation schema for that condition type, but that does not appear to be triggered when the GR is done.
Has anyone had a similar requirement and successfully implemented a solution?

    Hi,
What is the objective for such inclusion of freight in GR.
Whether material is valuated at standard cost or MAV. If moving avg. price then u can add the frieght cost while doing MIRO also per deliver note.

  • Delivery costs to stock account for GR

    Dear All,
For the delivery cost for purchasing, I created new condition types for each and mapped them to transaction keys(all of them are mapped to FRE and FR1 keys).  While creating PO, related conditions are entered to item details and planned costs are entered for them.
The EIN and EKG keys are also activated for purchasing. When i do GR for related PO, the delivery costs are not posted also to stock account. Is there any additional customizing for this ? I need to post these additional costs to stock account (BSX key)
    Thanks,

SPRO --> MM --> Valuation and Account Assignment --> Account Determination --> Account Determination Without Wizard --> Purchase Account Management --> Calculation of Value for Purchase Account
In this screen, del. costs should be ticked for related valuation area and Company Code. For MAP delivery costs are added to stock account, for standard price delivery costs are posted to price variance account.

  • Delivery cost in PO

    Hi,
I have create the PO account assigned to cost centre K and it has multiple account assignment.
The distribution is on the basis of quantity and in case of partial invoice it is to be distributed proportionally.
The pricing condition in PO are basic price and freight condition. When I am saving PO the sytem is giving following warning message:
No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment
    Message no. 06356.
I saved the PO and did GR.As it is multiple account assignment so GR will be non valuated hence no accounting document is generated.
When I am doing MIRO, I selected option goods/service+planned delivery cost.
System is not showing the delivery cost. My basic price was 100 and freight cost was 10 say as an example. In MIRO it is showing only 100 not the freight cost 10 though I have selected the goods/service+planned delivery cost.
When I am simulating the system is showing following warning message:
No delivery costs selected for invoice document
    Message no. M8599
    Diagnosis
No delivery costs were selected for the invoice document.
    Procedure
If delivery costs are contained in the invoice, check that the allocation criteria and invoice type are correct.
Just to check further , in MIRO I selected only the planned delivery cost , then system is giving the following error message:
No delivery costs exist for purchase order 4500000596 00000
    Message no. M8014
    Diagnosis
You have chosen Delivery costs -> Planned -> By purchase order. This function allows you to process delivery costs which were planned in the puchase order. The purchase order which you are currently processing does not contain any planned delivery costs.
    Procedure
Check the purchase order number. If it is correct, you can only post the delivery costs as unplanned delivery costs.
Please help how in the case of multiple account assigned PO we can post the delivery cost in MIRO?

    Hello, Anju,
the systems does (well, in this case does not) exactly what is says: "No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment".
So either you have to split the one items with multiple account assignment into more items with single account assignment, or you have to use unplanned delivery cost in invoice verification.
If you decide to use the unplanned cost, it can be helpful to activate the "Edit PO Supplement Text in Invoice Verification" function in customizing for LIV, so the buyer can write into defined text in PO "message" for invoicing clerk, that he/she agrees with certain amount of unplanned cost. I know, it's such lousy workaround...
    Kind Regards

  • Third Party Order Delivery Costs(COGS in Purchasing)

    Hello MM/SD Gurus,
We have a Scenario where in its a 3rd Party Order direct shipment Process where the Shipping is done by a Logistics Vendor!
    So->PR>PO>Inbound Del->GR->IR>Goods Issue-->Customer Invoice.
Now the Issue we have is Delivery Costs(Freight,Insurance,Duty etc) raised by Logistics vendor are taken as estimated costs during the PO creation with appropriate Condition Types but when at the end of the Month when Actual bill is sent the Prices are to be settled and paid back!!
2)Assuming vendor invoice of $100 and Freight invoice of $10. The accounting entries aare as follows:
    Vendor 100-
    GIT(Goods in Transit) 100
    Fright Forwarder 10-
    GIT 10
Since the Stock is Non Valuated here how can Account postings from PO/GR is shown for COGS in SAP.
Understood that COGS is hit when Goods Issue(GI) is done but our need is to account COGS in Purchasing.
Can anybody throw some idea of how to Capture the COGS in PO and post then individually with different G/L accts for Freight,Insurance etc.
Full points guaranteed heheheh! Pls help me with your expert suggestions.

    Hi Suraj,
Thankx for your reply and sorry for my delayed reply.
Well your answer is too immature for me to apply since I have already done all those and surpassed those things.
Well to make my question simple I need to account Delivery Costs(Freight,Insurance etc) during GR.Although I have setup all the COnd types in PO Pricing. Now I need to know since GR is Statistical and Goods are in Transit can I account the Delivery Costs into seperate G/L acounts??
It would be great if any of the Forum ppl have already setup capturing of the Delivery Costs in PURCHASING and accounting them into Sepate a/c's. I feel this is Common Scenario in most of the Mfg Org. So knowledge transfer is higly appreciated!!

  • DRB (ALO1): document for PO delivery costs is missing

    Hi,
When I view a purchase order that contains a posted goods receipt + invoice receipt document for the goods itself as well as for the planned delivery cost, the GR / IR posting for the planned delivery cost can not be seen using document relationship browser (ECC60, SP 14).
It looks like data stored in table EKBZ (History per Purchasing Document: Delivery Costs) is not included in the DRB functionality.
I didnu2019t find a SAPNET note nor a SDN posting regarding this issue.
Does somebody know if there is a solution for that missing functionality?
    BR Christian

    Dear,
In continuation of your R&D i would like to mention :
GR-based IV means that the valuation takes place per reference document. To make this possible, all documents with reference to a GR document (like GR reversal, subsequent delivery, invoice, invoice reversal etc.) will be updated with the same reference document key. This data from the application area in question is also updated in the PO history (EKBE).
For delivery costs there is no GR-based IV, but only item based invoice verification, therefore these fields are not updated in the PO history for delivery costs (EKBZ).
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=68747584
Get the reference field in EKBE when ever you do the MIRO with reference to PO.But when you do the MIRO wrt bill of entry etc, then you will get the reference field in table EKBZ.
    Regards,
    Syed Hussain.

  • Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot (In valuation variant)

    Hi all,
i am facing problem finding enhancement when creation of sales order of Valuation price with user exit/BADI/Enhancement Spot  (In valuation variant)
    For refferenece:
When going to t.code VA03, select one item and go to extras in the menu bar and select costing then you find some amounts calculation i.e valuation price automatically.
So when creation of sales order i am giving material and that material price automatically takes from material master and creating sales order.
My customer requirement is to get the valuation price of the input material from Z-table during the sales order cost estimate.
This Z-table contains the material code, plant , grade  of the material.
    Ex:
    Material         Plant   Grade Price
    A                1000    XYZ     25000
    A                1000    PQR     35000
    A                1000    BCD     45000
Suppose it depends on sales document type and which grade price i have to take.
So first of all i am unable to find enhancement where to change this code to get change the valuation price.
Does anybody have any idea , is there any user exit/BADI/enhancement for this.
So please help me in this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
