Delivery Plant and Engineering Change no in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

Hi Gurus,
My requirement is creating sales order useing BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2,
but iam unable to find out Delivery Plant and Engineering Change no. in this BAPI.Plese Help me,

We use Delivery plant as Shipping point ,it is VBAP-VSTEL Field,you can see Sales order Shipping tab at item level.
Check the sales order level,if coding is good then there may be some user exit to stopping the data .
also check with functional guy to confirm the delivery plant field.
BAPI Structure is
BAPISDITM-SHIP_POINT

Thnks for the reply.Yes i am comparing (DWERK (at header level) and WERKS (at item level)) these two fields.
Any how we can give only one plant in Customer Master, we are not maintaining Customer/mtrl regard (Not required in our company scenario) and we have extended MMR to different plants.
So as per ur answer u went me to change only WERKS (at item level) while raising sales order for different plants.Is it enough?

BOM integrity in SAP with respect to part version, engineering changes-DMS

Hai folks,
We have a concept of engg bom and plant bom, when a part no. is intiated for the change management
it goes through a version change which is handled through DMS in SAP.
The scenario is, i want to sink the version of the part with my document version .(i.e in our plant our component part number and drawing document number are same.)
When i do a bom comparison using CS14, different field comparison's are thrown, except for the version difference.
I doubt , since DMS is a centrally controlled area, it makes no sense to compare versions in the same SAP boundary, but can it be managed through some DMS object links in our system.
Pl throw some concepts to ensure different BOM intergrity with respect to part versions and engineering changes.

Error Message V1810 - Make to Order No Change delivery plant in Sales Order

Hello, for a client where I'm setting the flow intercompany , but i have an error on the Sales Order when I must be change delivery plant.
Scenario: Make to Order, Product configuration, Sales Order BOM created by CS60
Step:
1 - I create sales order fo company X delivery plant 1000
2 - Creates Order BOM on plant 2000 Company Y
3 - creates MRP Planned Order
4 - Convert Planned Order to Production Order
For different issues can happen that you decide to ship the goods to a different plant than the X. Production Plant remains 2000.
If I try to change the plant on the Order system stops me with the following error:
Message V1810 - Plant can no longer be changed
Diagnosis
The plant can no longer be changed in the Following situations:
The item has been assigned to a project.
There is a production order for the order item but it is not a staticassembly order.
Already have accrued costs.
For the very complex structure of the product I can not delete the production order and sales order BOM.
How do I handle these cases?
Can anyone help me?

if you want to transfer the goods from plant to plant you can do it through Stcok transfer MB1B t code.
1.then why you want to change the plant? in which element you are trying to do in sales order or production order?
2.you mention it as intercompany and MTO can you be clear for whoom you got the sales order(internal or External Customer?

Need to determine plant and storaeg location for item in delivery

Hello All,
I have an inbound IDOC which changes the quantity of items in a delivery and also adds new items if necessary. I need to do a auto PGI also if required.
Am using BDC to update the delivery. Now the problem is when I add a new item to the delivery. I add the material, quantity and Unit recieved from the IDOC. I need to determine the plant and storage location and fill that too in the delivery.
Kindly let me know how I can determine these two values. Which table holds this data?
Please note that I am changing only the delivery. The document preceding the delivery wont be changed.

normally the plant is determined on this basis:
customer inforecord (table KNMT)
customer master (KNVV)
material (MVKE)
The storage location is determined in table TVKOL based on:
shipping point (you have it in delivery header LIKP-VSTEL)
plant (see above)
storage conditions (material master MARA-RAUBE)

Delivery plant is not showing in sales order change mode

HI FRIENDS
I was created sales order, in the first screen i choose the delivery plant , the delivery plant is copied to all items but when we go to sales order change mode we are unable to see the delivery plant in the first screen .

In VA02 if you are unable to see the delivering plant in the first screen then go to Environment ->changes in VA02.
Secondly , Also check in transaction variant , SHD0 for t.code VA02 wheather the VBAP-WERKS are in display or disable mode. If it is in disable mode then change it to display mode and then create the sales order again and then check wheather you are able to see the delivering plant or not

If you are using Safari as a web browser :-
Open Safari, go to Safari menu > Preferences > General, and put Google as the homepage. Then, choose Google as your default search engine.
If you are using Google Chrome as the web browser :-
Open Google Chrome.
In the top right corner of the page, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu > Settings.
In the "Search" section, select Google from the drop-down menu.

Pros and Cons not determining / having a Delivery Plant in Sales Order?

Hi Mates
Here I have come-up with one more (weired?) requirement from my client.
We have two plants manufacturing same product and supplying to all customers (some time in same sales order with two different line items).
At the timeof creating a sales order, marketing does't know from which plant the material will move and hence they don't want to fill the Delivering Plant field (VBRP-BUKRS at Shipping tab) for each Item.
They are insisting me to map it as above though I had explained about various pros and cons for not determining a mandatory delivery plant
in sales order like the requirements and shipping stuff.
Yet, yet they want this.
Has anyone come across this kind of requirement before? What best you had done for that?
Can I ask you what are the Pros and cons on not having a Delivery Plant at Sales Order level?
what if I could determine it Delivery level?
Any comments, suggestions, replies and advices are taken humbly.

Yest it is VBAP-WERKS (typo error ).
Infact I had given the same solution for the issue.
Interstingly, they are insisting on a better solution fit for their requirement. Anyway shall 'highlight' the points again to them try to get it solved

BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA how to ADD a Plant and CHANGE Sales Org. info

Hello All,
I got a working version of the BAPI Changing some data, and i need to take it to the next level.
In some cases I want to ADD a new plant to an existing material.
I filled the Sector, Type and Materialnumber in the BAPIMATHEAD and added the Materialdescription-table.
Since I´m creating I´m not to sure about the FLAGS in BAPIMATHEAD, I marked:
PURCHASE_VIEW
MRP_VIEW
WORK_SCHED_VIEW
STORAGE_VIEW
Naturally I also filled PLANTDATA, I don´t know what to do with PLANTDATAX though, since I want to CREATE a new plant-View to an Existing Material, not change one...
SAP can´t be expecting me to check every field in the PLANTDATAX, can they?
Could somebody indicate what i´m doing wrong?
PS: Is it possible to ADD a plant, and, in the same BAPI-Call, change Salesorg.-Data?

after a lot of hours, a friend discovered what I was doing wrong.
I was doing:
lt_unitsofmeasurex-alt_unit = 'X'.
lt_unitsofmeasurex-alt_unit_iso = 'X'.
instead of using the actual unit instead of 'X'

U00A7ECH Engineering Change with Purchase Order, Process Order and Sales Order

Can someone kindly explain me the integration points of Engineering Change with
1. Purchase Order
2. Process Order
3. Sales Order
I know we can see the Rev Letter in the first two. Is there a 'refresh' function inside the PO, Process Order, Sales Order by which we can get the latest and greatest revision, incase the material rev is updated/changed after the PO, Proc Order, SO is already created. Also if yes,after what status in PO, Process Order or Sales Order we cannot use the 'Refresh' button, and than what needs to be done to fix this situation.

really, this depends on several factors, especially the valid from date of the ECM and its impact on changes on a BOM (which I suppose is the use case you are looking at? Or just a change on the material revision of the BOM header material?
Interesting for you should also be Order Change Management, although not applicable to process orders as far as I know:

I am trying to add values to Rule for Adoption of ATP Results in Purchasing(REVFE),Delivery Type for Stock Transfers Within a Company Code(LFART1) and another two more fields..After entering the data When i clik Save button... it shows "Data was Saved".But its not showing when i went back and come
I have checked in debugg mode and table T161V table ..waht ever i entered its not saved in Database table.
We have checked in another system its working fine..
Can anyone please help me on this?

DM3.0 EA2: Filter engineering changes between logical and relational model

Hi,
when I am engineering changes between logial and relational model there are some issues at filter handling for me:
- When the filter "Show Modified Objects" is activated, the filter works only on the first level, e.g. on Entity level. On attribute level all attributes are displayed, not only the attributes which have really been modified. It is possible, to show on every level only the really modified objects?
- I think, selecting a Filter condition is circuitous. All filter conditions except "Show All Objects" keeps activated when I choose another condition. So I have to deactivate "Show Deleted Objects" when I want to see only the modified objects. It is possible to choose another control element for filtering, e.g. disjunctive radio buttons?
I am running Data Modeler on Windows XP with german localization and the JDK 1.6.0_11 from Oracle SQL Developer.

I logged bug for that.
