Detecting hardware keys on tab devices in as3.0

Ls,
I want to use the on device keys of the samsung (and other) tab devices {Home, return/back and menu}
How do i listen to those/ what events are that?
Googling it i have a hard time finding anything.
Probably because i am not using the right phrase for it.
Anybody?

thank you for your reply.
Im not looking for the device specific capabilities like the accelorometer or multitouch capabilities, but the 4 buttons on the thing itself.
They usually (or at least the samsung tabs) have a menu, return/back and home key on the front of the device.
I want to use them.

   I can able to get the Mac address of computer using the java program. But when i am running a software called "PCQualifier.exe" i am getting the parameters like "uniqueID" and "unique code". so where and how he is getting those things please help me to get those things using a java programme. EP6 SP2 hardware key / installation number

Hi all,
unfortunately the license of an EP6 SP2 has expired and I need to find out what are the hardware key and the installation number of this portal in order to renew the license.
As the admin pwd is lost and the sap* user/pwd combination do not work in order to log on to the portal and retrieve the system information via the system admin tab I am wondering if I can find both (hardware key and inst. no.) in the database or on the filesystem. If yes, where??
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated :)!

One way to enable SAP* is
1. Copy your current sapum.properties.bak to sapum.properties (/usr/sap/XXX/j2ee/cluster/ume)
[ This would only work if this is the original sapum.properties when you initially installed.]
If you copy over the properties from the direct editing
(i.e sapum.properties is in sync with the properties in
the database )tab then set the following properties in the sapum.properties is set.
ume.superadmin.activated=true
2. Restart the server.
Side Effect: You have to redo the UM configuration
Now you can logon as SAP* and get the system information.
Alternative 1:( This may or may not work. I don't have access to the environment or documentation to check out.)
Through Visual Administrator see server license information.
To Access the Admin documentation by the following URL;
http://your portal server:50000/index.html

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\D

Hope someone can help, yesterday in the event viewer I encountered the following error
"The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk1\D
....I have added no new hardware for months, I checked this out on the microsoft website but they recommend changing the cable!
I ran diagnostics on the hard drives and they found no errors at all ....I got a feeling it the motherboard, frustrating as this is the second board Ive had!
Can anyone advise on this error?
My setup is as follows
P4 3.2GHZ
1GB Transcend Memory
1 NEC 2510 DVD Wrtier
1 IDE 120GB Maxtor Diamond Max
2 X SATA HDD
450 watt Thermaltake Butterfly PSU

This seems to be a common problem between ICH5 chipsets and SATA NCQ drives. Apparantly a BIOS update will be able to fixed the problem but I'm not sure which BIOS you should use. I suggest that you check MSI's website to look into your mobo's BIOS release notes to find out more first.
Please also note that there's an amount of risk to flashing your mobo's BIOS as and improper flash will caused the mobo to die immediately or having multiple errors due to bad flash. I would recommend that you flash through a floppy bootdisk which seems to be the best method till date.

IMac cannot detect ANY usb mass storage device.

iMac Core 2 Duo (White) cannot detect ANY usb mass storage device including iPod. Only Mice and Keyboards work via usb. Any solutions? OS X shows absolutely nothing when any usb device is connected.

Try resetting the PRAM. Hold down Option-Cmd--P-R together at the startup chime. Wait for two more chimes, total three, then let go to finish booting.
Try an SMC Reset. Shutdown, unplug from power, wait ten minutes, still unplugged, hold power button in for five seconds. Reconnect to power.
Run the Hardware Test in extended.

Creative software wont detect Hardware

I've been spending days and nights on this.
?OS : Windows 7 Home 64bit
?Sound card : X-fi Titanium Fatalty PCI express
After plugging in the card to the MB, Windows 7 detected a card there. downloaded generic sound drivers and called the card High Definition Audio Device or something of the sorts. Using the creative auto update prgram, it told me to download the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Driver 2.7.0007. When installing, it would give me an error saying there is a more up to date driver installed already. I know that "HD audio Device" is not the most up to date drivers. I tried uninstalling the drivers then installing the creative one. Win7 constantly installs its own drivers over and over again. I have Home, so i cant use the group policy trick to turn off auto driver install. So i looked through the CD that came with the card and found a force overwrite driver install. Clicked it, Software installed just fine. Restarted windows, installed the latest card drivers perfectly fine. This took me about 3 hours. Not wanting to bang my head anymore i went to bed.
?The next day I hit the auto update and its wants me to download a bunch of these creative software packages. I only downloaded Creative Console Launcher 2.6.35, Creative Diagnostics 5..02. Both of these prgrams do not detect the card and will not start. I tried re-installing, starting it up in compatibility with vista, xp. Nothing. I did not want to delve deeper into this knowing i would spend hours non stop trying to figure this out.
?The next day Win7 updates tell me to install "Creative - Audio - Creative X-Fi Audio Processor (WDM)", Thinking that Win7 finally recognizes the card, i install. Now there is no system tray icon for audio and the drivers rolled back to 2.6.3? Along with this Win7 update, creative audio control panel was installed and also does not detect any sound device, yet sound is playing just fine and i can access the sound settings through the windows audio panel. I have downloaded Product Identification Module Update. Software stil does not detect sound card.
? Yes i have read through many other post across the forums. Sadly, they were lacking a lot of details. I will be updating this post realsing any new details i come across in trying to fix this issues. As to the main point behind this, I would like to know if there is a fix somewhere for my specific problem. That problem being, I am not able to use my soundcard to its full potential and i would like very much to.

In searching the Creative web site, I couldn't find my web cam ?model listed and in the download area, it was written that if the model is not present, they no longer support it with updated drivers specifically for W-7 . I have two computers that I have tried to install the web cam on:
-one running 64 bit W-7. This one sees the mike and ear piece but not the video.(no green light on the camera); attempts to load the drivers from the disc that came with the camera failed.(Repeated several times)
-one running 32 bit W-7. This one sees the video camera which shows my face on the screen so it works; the audio for the ear piece and the mike can not be seen saying no sound card is present. We took some cards out ?from the original home entertainment model relating to tv and such?but the audio card function?should still be on the motherboard. This computer did run the web cam before in XP with all the extra cards present.

yes, but you'll have to check outside of the event loop (i.e. don't check for it in the keyPressed method).
just use an array of keys that keeps track of which keys are currently down and which are up. you could use a boolean array but I use an int array because... Im not sure I've just done it probably because of my C background. anyway, basic setup:

Active Hardware Key is missing in ECC 6.0

I have an issues with my ECC 6.0 system. Once I restart my application server due to hardware maintenance. Since that time, I can't logon to my ECC 6.0 except in client 001 with user SAP*. I found in transaction SLICENSE that my active hardware key is missing...

You may request a new license in SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/licensekey
Please note that as of Web Application Server ABAP 7.0 the license keys are digitally encrypted. Therefore you must request a new license key for your existing or new system if you are using a SAP product based on Web AS 7.0. Request your digital encrypted license key with license type standard and install it as described in SAP note 870871.

I'm trying to run SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java and ABAP Trial Version on Linux - VMware Edition
but I still have a issue to log on, message : "error in license check"
I try everything I found in forums, I have tested the license, see the trace below.

As you are running a Trial version, I do not think HA/ASCS would be relevant for you.
As you found in the dev_ms trace, the port 3601 for message server is not accessible:

Check via command netstat if the port 3601 is free for use. The hardware key is obtained from message server and since this port is not available, neither is the message server/the hardware key. Perhaps a VM restart could also help.

Keyboard hardware key not working

i'm trying to set the keyboard hardware keys of my vaio, this is the output of a few commands;

and then i used the command
xmodmap file
without results.

What happens if you press the key in question then perform a dmesg | tail
Any messages like these:

USMM Hardware key issue

Environment: OS:HP-UNIX , ECC6., Oracle DB
i have applied sap license in 000 with sap* user id successfully. And everything is working fine except one thing.
That is when i go to transaction USMM the hardware key is wrong it shows A0000000. And hardware key is correct in slicense and at service market place.
Please let me know what i can do.
I have also applied license from OS level and still issue is persisting. SAP restart is also not resolving the issue.

Hardware key is not displayed in SAP B1 8.81

Hi,
We installed SAP B1 8.81(Evaluation version). Hardware key is exists in Service manager -> Licence Manger.
But it is not displaying in Client System 's Help -> About SAP Business one.
Please let me know how to retrieve hardware key.

Hardware is null in this form in SAP B1 8.81.

Retriving the Hardware key in SAP EP 7.0

Since you are on NW 7.0 you will have to visual administrator to retrieve the h/w key. On how to do it, use this sap help link:

If you just wanna get your h/w key, you can also log-in to the o/s level using <sid>adm & use the command:
"saplicense - get"
