  • Place one order with Products from different sales orgs

    Hello,
We are in CRM 7.0 EHP2 connected to ECC 6.0. We have Internet
    sales/Webchannel Application.
We are rolling out Internet sales for a new country but they want the option to
place one single order with products from different sales
    organizations.
Currently Customers send fax/email to customer
representative(CR) with list of products. The CR identifies and places
multiple orders if products belong to different sales orgs.
Currently customers don't have idea about sales orgs and they don't
have a clue which product belongs to which sales orgs. So, for them to
use Internet sales, we have to provide them an option to place one
order with products from different sales orgs.
I understand SAP doesn't support this. But, is there any way we can achieve this through some custom/out of the box solutions?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Diff between Ref Sales Org & Dist Chann, Div - Commom Dist Chann & Div

Can anybody explain me the clear diffrence with an example.
    thanks,
    Venkat

    Hi,
Ref Sales Org & Dist Chann, Div is for reducing the number sales area you need to assign for allowing a perticular Sales Doc in this the common division and distribution channel will not work.
but for master data like Customer, material and CMIR you have to useCommon Division and Dist Chanel. and in this yo ucan not use Ref Sales Org & Dist Chann, Div.
the use is same but purpose is different. bit are used to reduce sales Area assignment respectively in their fields.
    Hope this clarifies your
    <b><u>Reference division/ Distribution Channel/ Sales Organization</u></b>:
<i>For sales order IMG> Sales and Distribution> Sales> Sales Document> Sales Document header> Assign Sales order type to permitted sales area</i>.
Note: in this you have option to combine Sales org, Dist chann and div as per requirement. But this will be only valid for Sales order only and will not apply on any master data. This will help as we need not to extend the SALES ORDER TYPE to all the DIVISION/ DISTRIBUTION CHANEL/ SALES ORGANIZATION.
    <u><b>Common division/ Distribution Channel:</b></u>
<u>For master data: Like Customer master / material master and condition records.
IMG> Sales and Distribution> Master Data> define common dist channel / Division </u>Note: in this you make common division and distribution channel for master data. And only then they will share the records in each other. Initial customer record should be maintained in the common division maintained and no need to extend it to others.

  • Combine sales org. dist channel & division

    Dear Gurus,
What is the use of combine sales org, combine dist channel, combine division?
We assign sales doc type to sales area not to individually sales org, dist channel & division?
I cud nt understand sales org with ref 2 sales org, dist chnl with ref 2 dist chnl & with division also?
Wt is the logic behind that? Kindly give logical answer?
    Regards
    Rakesh

    Dear Rakesh,
As GSL rightly mentioned that the use of Combine sales org. dist channel & division in addition to that,
I can say in one sentence what is the logic behind Combine sales org. dist channel & division.
"To share the sales document types to all sales areas"
It is like common divisions and distribution channel through this we can share the master data for all slaes areas which is maintained in one sales area.
But in Combine sales org. dist channel & division we share document types to all sales areas which are assigned to single sales area.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • ATP determination per Order Type

    Hi
My customers request that for the same material, they want to have a different number of stock per order type.
For example, for Material A, they also always keep stock of 20. If they have more stock than 20, they want to deliver to the customer.
However, this is limited to consignment order.
They don't want to limit the stock for Standard Order, so they always want to sell their available stock if more than 0.
I know that you can set 'Safety Stock' in MRP2 view in Material Master, and uncheck 'Include safety stock' from the combination of availability check and checking rule in OVZ9.
But I cannot configure this rule per Sales Order type.
Is there any way I can customize per sales order type?
    Am I missing any customization?
    Thank you in advance,

  • Revenue Account Determination based on Sales Order Document Type & Service Order Type

    Hi Expert,
I have Customer Service Module with Resource Related Billing for services attached with SD.
When DP90 runs sales document debit memo request is created & then debt memo is created.
I need to configure Revenue Account Determination based on Sales Order Type and also based on Service Order Type.
I did not see any field catalogue in revenue account determination for order type, For communication structure KOMKCV Header and KOMPCV Item level there is no field for sales order type nor service order type.
Is it possible to bring in both order types? Can ABAP person do it?
    How to bring these fields?
Is it possible & recommendd to have service order type filed AURAT for service order into this sturcture?
Is this configuration is OK acceptable by SAP? If so is there any chnace for issues errors & wrong determination from FI CO view?
Your valued input is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Prakash Parikh

    Hi Prakash,
Yes, you can certainly add new table fields into the field catalog KOMKCV and KOMPCV and use it during account determination. You will also have to add these new fields in the user exit RV60AFZZ for it to work. I believe you will need ABAPer's help to make this work. The abaper will have to crate a ZZFIELD (ZZAUART for example) and put it in the structure and use the same in the user exit to pass the values.
In your case, what I am not sure is, are you looking to modify the existing standard tables or creating new ones. My suggestion is to create the new condition tables with these new fields (like document type) after adding it to the field catalog. Only modify the access sequence (KOFI) in such a way that your new tables are access first before it goes into standard tables (or you can adjust it according to your scenario.
We have done it in our company and it is working fine. Basically what we have done is to create new tables instead of modifying the standard ones. We have adjusted the access sequence in such a way that some of our custom tables are accessed first before the standard SAP tables (C001 to C005).
I found a similar requirement on SCN. This might help.
Adding New Field in Account Determination
    Hope this helps.

  • Automatic Batch Determination is not happening for New Sales Order Type

    Dear Experts,
I have created a new sales order type ZBPY - For Free Sales, but automatic batch detrmination and batch pick up is not happening for new sales order type,  but it is activated for all the other sales order types in Production Server, can any body let me know the steps how to map this new order type to batch management and let it behave like other order types.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Saravanan(EKS).

    Hi Saravanan,
Kindly check the following steps for automatic batch determination.
    1. First check the material is maintained with batch in the warehouse management.
    2. Maintain new entry for search procedure for batch determination with the new created doc type.
    3. Maintain new entry for automatic batch determination for sales order or automatic batch determination for delivery ( This depends on the business process of our client, whether they want to determine the batch with sales order or at the delivery level. check this and make new entry)
    4. Create Batch using T.code MSC1N with proper date of manuf. and SLED.
    5. Create Batch Search Strategy using T.code VCH1 with proper strategy type.
    6. Maintain stock with active batch. check this with t.code LS26 or LS24.

  • Sales order type & requirement planning

    Hi PP Gurus,
I want to restrict requirement planning on the basis of sales order type. For perticular order type I do not want MRP & for another order type I want planning. Can I do such a setting on the order type? If yes, please tell me.
    Jayesh

    Dear Jayesh,
-->From sales order MRP get trigger through schedule line ctaegroy so,
-->You can get this requirement through maintaining different schecduling line categories for non MRP type order and MRP relavented sales orders.
-->Standard schedule line ctaegeory *without MRP is CN*
-->Schedule line category will get determine based in these combination
          Item category+MRP type--->Schedule line category
-->So if you want to define different scedule line categories for different order types you need to define different item categories for that order types through VOV7 transaction.
-->Then you need to determine those itemcategories through VOV4 transaction for the respective sales document type.
->Now you define schedule line categories with MRP and with out MRP through VOV6 transaction.
For Non MRP schedule line category you remove the check for Req./Assembly in detail screen of schedule line category.
-->Finnally you do the determination of the schedule line categories through VOV5 transaction.
Item category of MRP related Order+MRP type-->MRP related schedule line category.
Item category of Non MRP related order+ No MRP Type-->non MRP related schedule line category.
Now when you create sales order system consider the schecduline category based on the order type-->itemcategroy in the sales order.
I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Sales Order Types

Gurus what is the process used to determine which sales order types a specific organization can enter? How can it be determined which sales order types can be entered by a user/org or any other criteria?

    Hi,
Sales order types are driven by the Business process.
The standard SAP order types such as OR is most generic order type.
RE is for returns and there are different order types if it is consignment/third party orders and so on.
Based on the Business process at the company,we could make a copy of the Standard order types and create Z order types and configure them based on Business requirements. For example we could use ZOR and ZRE.
In addition to the standard sales order, there are also special order types, such as the rush order and the cash sales.
In cash sales the goods are paid for in cash.
In a rush order transaction, the customer picks up the goods or you deliver the goods on the same day as the order is placed. However, the invoice is created later.
Other criteria that needs to be considered are:
1.If the Invoice would be based on Deliveries or orders.
2.The Schedule line categories and item categories.
3.Sales areas for which the order types should be made available.
4.Customer master data and the sales area
5.Pricing procedures that would be linked to order types.
In transactoin code VOV8 you can find different types of sales orders like INQUIRY,QUOTATION,STANDARD ORDER,CASH SALE, RETURN ORDER,etc. Here you can select the order type you want and go through the details by click on Details button and you will notice the additional criteria behind the order types.
    Hope this helps.
