Device error after cleaninstall of win 8 on Z77 GD65

Hi.
Everything is running perfectly on my new installation, but a little nag is annoying me a bit. I have installed all the Drivers available for GD 65 and win 8. Does anyone have a solution? The only thing i can think of is the drivers for USB 3.0 but they are not available for win 8 on the site.

Satellite A305 problem: "No bootable device" error after dropping unit

I'm hoping someone can help me out here. Last night, I went to set my A305 laptop down on the coffee table. During the motion, my dog, which I was stepping over, jumped up and took off which almost knocked me over. When this happened, I lost my grip on the computer and dropped it onto the coffee table at a height of about 2-3 feet. It was in standby mode so I pressed the button to wake it back up to see if I damaged it. The Internet Explorer session I was previously in pulled up, but nothing would happen when I clicked on any browser buttons or links. I shut down the computer and upon restarting, I got the black screen with "TOSHIBA" in red, as usual, and then I got a black screen with this error message: For Realtek RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.07 (080320)PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, check cablePXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROMNo bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key I couldn't get it to do anything else at all, even after several shut down attempts. Possible, yes. Can you do it at home, no. Due to the clearances involved you need to do this in a special clean room as the slightest piece of dust or debri that is normally floating around in the air would ruin the platters that the data is stored on. If the drive won't work you'll need to send it to a professional data recovery service to have them do it and the cost of something like that starts at about a grand and goes up depending on the specifics. But before we go there you need to determine if the problem is for sure the hard drive. Enter the bios and check to see if it is even being recognized or not. Also, take the hard drive out and boot to a self booting CD/DVD like a Linux Live CD to verify that the rest of the system is working properly. If it isn't, then the problem might not be the hard drive itself (although the chances of that are about the same as winning the lottery). If the laptop had been off there is a good chance that it would have survived and still worked. But anytime a rotating hard drive sustains any sort of impact shock the chances of it sustaining damage are about 98%.

No Bootable Device error after fresh install

I recently erased the original 80gb hard drive from my MacMini by removing the hard drive from the mini and putting it in a HD enclosure. Afterwards, I erased it using the Disk Utilities on my Macbook Pro before installing Snow Leopard. The installation went error free and was able to load the OS from my MacMini HD that was in the enclosure. However, when I put the hard drive back into my MacMini, I get the "No Bootable Device - Insert boot disk or press any key" message. I repeated the erase and installation 3x but still get the same message.

witch mac mini do you have? is it a G4 or intel?
Is there a reason you pulled the drive instead of just booting to the install disk?
Is the install disk the one that was included with your MacBook Pro? or is it a commercial disk?
Do you know if you partitioned the hard driving using GUID or some thing else?

Yesterday i upgraded to windows 10.after i installed i registered my upgraded computer as one of my devices.after watching TV for a while i was looking in my windows settings and realised my windows 10 wasnt activated so i preceeded to activate. after windows activation i went to watch TV again and it asks me to register my device again, but i cant as i registered the same device earlier and thinks im trying to change it again. anyone else have this problem

I have "Toshiba Satellite A300 PSAGQE" 2 days ago I updated my Windows Vista to Windows 7.
Many Driver are ok and working without trouble but 3 drivers are makin trouble as I have noticed.

my "FN" is not working and the LED lights are not going on!!!

To be honest for me it doesnt sound like problems because you need only new drivers for your notebook they are listed on the Toshiba page:

You need the card reader and Bluetooth driver I think.
Regarding the FN and illumination You should install Toshiba Value Added Package. ;)

I understand that you received a restore error while attempting to update to iOS 8 and now you see the Connect to iTunes graphic on your display. In this situation, I would recommend using recovery mode to restore your iPhone. Please use the instructions located in the attached article to complete this process.

Error while burning dvd in pre 8.0 "device error-the target device isn't suitable for use."

I am trying to burn a dvd in premiere elements 8.0 but after 96% iam getting this error :
"device error-the target device isn't suitable for use."

HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 - new - Device error and Cleaning cycle issues

HP LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 - this is a new printer a friend purchased at Staples. It connects WiFi okay and prints when prompted to but it then does a "Cleaning" cycle after every print job. It also displays "Device Error" at the same time. It has been powercycled as instructed and the error continues to reappear and the "Cleaning" cycle continues as well after each and every print job. My friend paid Staples to set up this printer to a new Acer Laptop and D-Link router he also purchased before he brought them home. He was told everything works fine .. they lied .. Laptop and router have no issues .. just the printer. The Laptop sees the printer okay and software is installed without issue. Any ideas why the "Device Error" and "Cleaning" cycle after every print job is happening? He is on the verge of taking the whole outfit back as Staples has not assisted him and instead directed him to download the manuals from HP. Any suggestions are appreciated

Have you tried a hard reset on it? I know you said you power cycled it, but a hard reset is sometimes different than what some people consider a power cycle.
Follow these steps to perform a hard reset on the printer.
1. Press the Power button to turn on the product.
2. With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
3. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
4. Wait at least 15 seconds.
5. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
6. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
7. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the power button to turn it on.
Try that out and let me know if it helps.

NO OUTPUT DEVICE ERROR

Hi Guys Yesterday i reinstalled os x and my audio was working properly.....
But from today morning i got no output device error.....it also doesnot work in headphones.... someone do help...thank u....

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select Built-in Output from the list on the left. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them.
7. If a red light is coming from the audio-out port, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
11. Reset the NVRAM.
12. Reset the SMC.
13. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
/Library/Preferences/Audio
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Recreate your settings in the Sound preference pane.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
14. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
15. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

I/O device error when trying to backup system image on my K330B running Windows 7 Home Premium

I set up my Idea Centre K330B to schedule complete system backups to an external HDD once a week. This worked fine for three months, then about a month ago a scheduled backup failed due to "device error encountered with either the source or the destination (0x8078012D)". It also gave "Additional information: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. (0x8007045D)"
I ran chkdsk/r on both the backup drive ( E: ) and the system drive ( C: ) and no problems were found. The backup drive has plenty of available space. I tried the backup to a freshly NTFS-formated external drive. I tried the backup with my BitDefender 2012 Anti-virus disabled. I tried the backup after booting in safe mode. Nothing works.
If I specify to backup only C: and not the reserved partition the backup completes with no problems.
I get the same error condition whether I perform the backup with Windows or the Lenovo backup software.
Is it possible I have a disk corruption on the reserve partition that is not found and repaired by the chkdsk/r C: operation?
I'm thinking about saving all important user files and rebooting to the factory settings, but if the reserver partition is damaged I might end up with a dead 4-month-old PC.
I would greatly appreciate any help or advice as to how to get these backups going again.

I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides.

After upgrading from Win 8 to 8.1 my DVD RAM GT80N SATA Drive is no longer working

After upgrading from Win 8 to 8.1 my DVD RAM GT80N SATA Drive is no longer recognizing discs. When I first put a disc in the drive runs for a bit and then stops. I've tried updating the driver but it says it has the most current driver. Under manage, it does not show any error codes and it says it is working correctly. I've looked at the regedit and it does not have any of upper and lower filters. I've tried disabling, rebooting, and reenabling. What am I missing? Another issue I've had since upgrading is that my network adapter needs reset several times a day in order to remain connected to wifi.

Power Mac G4 USB error after 10.4.7

Hello,
I’ve installed the 10.4.7 update on my Power Mac G4. After the installation I have problems with my USB devices.
After I’ve put my Mac into standby, i've attached my USB Hard disk and the Mac do nothing, all USB devices I’ve plugged were not recognized by the system.
The Buttons of my Cinema display are not in function after the standby mode.
These errors are not explicit after a standby, in some case also after I started my Mac.
Another problem is, if my external Hard disk running, the computer doesn't go into standby. But the screen stays black.
Can anyone help me in this reason?

after i waked up my mac and sometimes after the startup. my iPod and all devices from apple and third party devices are not in function. If i disconnect the mouse and plugged them again the system don't recognize them. and also when i disconnect the keyboard the computer can't connect to them.
when i open the system profiler in the apple menu the devices were not listed again.
i think thats an explicit problem from 10.4.7

Getting I/O Device error when trying to build?

Hi...
I'm pretty much a horrible noob when it comes to stuff like this. I'm using Ant to build an EAR for deployment to an environment. I've been doing it for a while, totally fine... but when I tried to do it today - I'm getting the following error:
Problem creating war: the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error
Now, I have no idea what this means - Google isn't being a lot of help either. Is this a memory issue? Is it something corrupt in my local Javan environment?
It happens when I try to do the build via command line and through Eclipse.
The process is able to make it through the regular build portion fine - it just chokes on building the WAR.
Anyone?

Does this mean a drive has failed on the box? Or just
some controller associated with a drive?Don't know and couldn't say. Either way it's bad. Find an administrator and ask them. Hopefully you have one.

DVD Burning Error: Unknown device error. (0x73, 0x03.)

I have been trying to burn a home movie using iDVD. I transferred the media successfully to my computer, followed all the steps, and was finally ready to burn the DVD. After waiting almost an hour through the burn process, it spit the DVD back out of my Macbook Pro and gave me the following message.

*The recording device reported the media error: Unknown device error. (0x73, 0x03.)*
I don't really know what this means. Was the media corrupt? Or is there a problem with my DVD player? I have supplied my DVD and computer information below. I would appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you in advance!

Using the same media I've used for years (Verbatim 4x InkJet printable) and all of a sudden can't burn from the internal drive. I do have an external burner (7 disc standalone replicator with USB/FireWire 400) and hooked that up and burned to a disc from the same spindle with no problem, and then made a 3x replicate with the same media. So it's looking like my MacBook Pro's drive is failing?
Laptop is plugged in and fully charged.
