  • I need the Log Report for the Data which i am uploading from SAP R/3.

    Hi All,
I am BI 7.0 Platform with Support Patch 20.
I need the Log Report for the Data which i am uploading from SAP R/3.
I extract the DATA from R/3 into BI 7.0 DSO where I am mapping the GL Accounts with the FS Item.   In the Transformation i have return a routine on the FS Item InfObject . I am checking the Gl code into Z table for the FS Item .
I capture the FS item from the Z table then update this FS item to Infobject FS item.
Now i  need to stop the Data upload if i do not find the GL code in the Z table, and generate report for all GL code for which the FS item is not maintained in the Z table.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    nilesh

    Hi.
Add a field that you will use to identify if the GL account of the record was found in the Z table or not. Fx, create ZFOUND with length 1 and no text.
In your routine, when you do the lookup, populate ZFOUND with X when you found a match (sy-subrc = 0) and leave it blank if you don't find a match. Now create a report filtering on ZFOUND = <blank> and output the GL accounts. Those will be the ones not existing in the Z table, but coming in from your transactions.

    Hi
If you have zip file of the project then unzip it into your project  location where all projects are there .then in NWDS go to file->import->multiple existing project into workspace->browse the file where you have saved it and select the comp folder inside the project folder->click finish. Now you are able to see the webdynpro project in the webdynpro explorer. If its not appearing then go to Navigatore and right click on project and click on open project, it will open the project in webDynpro explorer.

  • Using different templates for the desktop and phone versions of the same blog

I have a site which was created in Adobe Muse and is hosted on Business Catalyst.
I have created both a desktop and a phone versions of the site.
I  want to know how I can integrate the blogs that I  currently have on the desktop site with the phone version that I just did, using different templates for the desktop and phone versions of the same blog. This is in order to ensure that visitors to the blogs on the website are directed to the templates that render correctly for the devices they are using.
My current approach has been to create both a desktop and phone versions of the blogs. The problem with this however, is that the dates are different and the comments are separated between the two blog versions!
I  have also tried enabling mobile templates in BC, but still couldn't find a way to specify the mobile versions of the templates for the same blog?
To recap my problem, I basically  need a solution where the same blog uses different templates for desktop and mobile (both templates use different navigation headings and menu styles)
    Thanks.

There can be few reason for this, including page contents links or contents used in phone/tablet version.
Please provide the site url , also try to publish the site as a trial site in Business Catalyst with all layouts which would help to isolate the issue.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit

  • Different templates with different datasource files

    Hi All,
Can someone tell me how we can have two different templates with different datasource files in one BIP report.
I need PDF template based on one xml file and CSV teamplate based on another in one report.
    Thanks.

you can have two data-set or query , and select concatenated data and have a single xml file.
But pdf template will look at those, dataset in the xml, which you want. and CSV will look only on the other dataset.
what method are you using for CSV ?

  • Using different templates for different user access types.

    Hi all,
I have an issue where we have a Page Group with lots of pages/sub-pages.
There are three different User Groups, Internal, Customer and Supplier.
I need to display the same content but with different templates (look and feel), one for the Internal, one for the customer and one for the supplier.
Can this be done using Oracle Portal 10.1.14? If so, how?
    Many thanks.

    Hi,
Yes you can do what you want to do in 10.1.4.
You can call a procedure in your HTML Layout Template which will write some CSS. This procedure will be executed with the USERID parameter.
Your procedure will check if the current user is a customer or a supplier and your CSS will reflect the differences (with different colors or whatever...)
    Good luck,
    Max.

  • Different languages without using SAP authentication

    Hi folks,
is it possible to leverage the language capabilities of BW in WebI through an Universe WITHOUT using SAP authentication (means having a fixed user in the underlaying BW connection and NOT SSO)??
We are facing this requirement in a POC having Cognos as oponent and they can do this!
    Thanks and regards,
    Harald

    Hi Sebastian,
yes I know, but this is then fix per connection. What I want is having one universe with one connection, BUT still leveraging the different language-texts from SAP BW... Is this possible or not? Until now I only see the possibility to create one universe for each language and this is not satisfiying the customer...

  • Passing cost center to different templates

    Hi all,
I am developing a Cost Center Managers dashboard. It has 5 different templates for manpower, expenditure etc. Each template has the same header with links in a tab style and a cost center drop down for them to apply to the queries.
I want to pass whatever cost center was selected on template 1 into template 2 when they click on the link. Any ideas how to do this?  Currently each template remembers what was previously selected rather than displaying whatever was chosen on the previous template.
    Many thanks in advance.

the link for the second template should be
    template_id=<template>&var_name_1=<cost center variable name>&var_value_ext_1=<cost center number>

  • Ldt files for different templates have same data

i was asked to get .ldt files for different templates. I used FNDLOAD to download the files using xdotmpl.lct file. all the .ldt file when open in text has the same data. Am I doing something wrong. If the files are same why do we need seperate .ldt file for each template.

But if you developing something and you are going to version it, then
    In case of single LDT
    ==================
Its easy as you said, we can down load all def into one file.
But, if one of the template def. got changed, all data gets downloaded unnecessarily .
Single file , so you can say its easy .
    In case of multiple LDT
    ==================
But, if one of the template def. got changed, then download that one only into ldt.
Multiple file , little more effort is needed to create them.
    But more easy to maintain,

  • DATA UPLOADING IN SAP SYSTEM

What is the meaning of data uploading in SAP system?Which TCode is used and how it is done?

Data Uploading : This is uploadig the master datas like material master,BOM,Routing etc from a legacy system or new created in uploadale format.
Then using the uploading tools like SCAT,LSMW,BDC ETC the datas would be uploaded.
When you first set up SAP landscape the system will not have any datas and configuration it will be a plain box.
So configuration has to be done by the consultants and later all the master datas, static and dyanamic datas etc has to be uploaded to start working on SAP

  • What are the different functions used in sap script?

    Hi,
What are the different functions used in sap script? What are the parameters used in each Function?
    Regards,
    Mahesh

he print program is used to print forms. The program retieves the necesary data from datbase tables, defines the order of in which text elements are printed, chooses a form for printing and selects an output device and print options.
    Function modules in a printprogram:
When you print a form you must used the staments OPEN_FORM and CLOSE_FORM. To combine forms into a single spool request use START_FORM and END_FORM.
To print textelements in a form use WRITE_FORM. The order in which the textelements are printed, is determined by the order of the WRITE_FORM statements. Note: for printing lines in the body, you can also use the WRITE_FORM_LINES function module.
To transfer control command to a form use CONTROL_FORM.
    Structure of a print program
    Read data
    Tables: xxx.
    SELECT *
    FROM xxx.
Open form printing - Must be called before working with any of the other form function modules.
Must be ended with function module CLOSE FORM
    call function 'OPEN_FORM'.....
To begin several indentical forms containing different data within a single spool request, begin each form using START_FORM, and end it using END_FORM
    call funtion 'START_FORM'.....
Write text elements to a window of the form
    call function 'WRITE_FORM'.....
