Disabling Prompt Window

I have a Crystal Report which is called from a portal via OpenDoc. The OpenDoc call passes the parameters to the report, hence the report opens in CR viewer without the prompt window coming up. However, when the user clicks the refresh button, the prompt window comes up.
Is there any way to disable the prompt window from coming up when the report is manually refreshed? Or, is there a way to refresh the report with the same parameters so that the prompt window does not come up even when the user clicks on refresh button? Or, it is possible to disable to refresh button on CR viewer?
Thanks for your help!

  • Why do I get a Fax prompt window when I try to print from Windows Photo Gallery?

    Trying to print photos from Windows Photo Gallery.  Print job looks as if it goes to the queue, but does not actually print.  Fax prompt window pops up as if I were preparing to fax.  Do I now have to disable the fax in order to print photos?  I take phone calls and faxes on the same phone line.

    1: I am sorry about the inconvinience.
    The reason you find a check mark on a printer icon is to indicate that its a default printer. If the fax icon has a check mark, everytime you print a fax template will come up.
    SOlution: Just right click on the other icon and select it as the default printer.
    2: Black lines while printing photos.
    CLick on the link below and check if the solution helps you.

  • Windows 7 explorer run prompt window position on screen varies

    whether I use the mouse via start/run or <windows key>+R the small window that appears to await input from me for the run command line dpes not consistently appear in the lower left above the windows start globe (forgive inaccurate nomenclature).
    Generally speaking, say 50% of the time, the machine; a dual xeon HP z820 with AMD Firepro graphics and 3 display port NEC monitors with the AMD/ATI current catalyst pro drivers and NEC spectraview 2 running, puts the run window immediately above
    the start globe.  but the other half or more of the time it could be dead center in the active monitor or at varied locations about the center of the active monitor (reported as #2 in the Microsoft ID monitors results).  It's never been on a non
    primary monitor and I've tried switching monitors. to change the active one, and I've tried switching between and deleting the profiles for eyefinity, which btw is rarely in use.  It's generally just in the extended windows mode with 3 monitors.
    Is there a way to correct, control, or otherwise manage the location of the run prompt window?
    thanks in advance,
    fw

    I came here looking for a solution to a similiar issue where the "RUN" dialog kept popping up in the middle of my screen.  This thread helped me find the answer even though the answer was not in this thread. I thought I post what actually fixed my issue.
    AMD graphics have a feature in AMD Catalyst Control Center.  Look for a setting called "Dialog Control \ Enable Dialog Repositioning"  it is enabled by default and makes your dialogs go to the center of your primary screen.  Disable it and
    everything goes back to normal.

  • How to disable parent window while popup window is coming

    Hi,
    I am working on Oracle Applications 11i.
    I am able to get the popup window using the Java script in the controller.
    Please see the below code for the reference.
    String pubOrderId = pageContext.getParameter("orderId");
    StringBuffer l_buffer = new StringBuffer();
    StringBuffer l_buffer1 = new StringBuffer();
    l_buffer.append("javascript:mywin = openWindow(top, '");
    l_buffer1.append("/jct/oracle/apps/xxpwc/entry/webui/AddAttachmentPG");
    l_buffer1.append("&retainAM=Y");
    l_buffer1.append("&pubOrderId="+pubOrderId);
    String url = "/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?page="+l_buffer1.toString();
    OAUrl popupUrl = new OAUrl(url, OAWebBeanConstants.ADD_BREAD_CRUMB_SAVE );
    String strUrl = popupUrl.createURL(pageContext);
    l_buffer.append(strUrl.toString());
    l_buffer.append("', 'lovWindow', {width:750, height:550},false,'dialog',null);");
    pageContext.putJavaScriptFunction("SomeName",l_buffer.toString());
    But here the problem is, even though popup window is there, i am able to do the actions on the parent page.
    So how to disable the parent page, while getting the popup window.
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks

    I will attach a recent screen shot of a print window I opened and the extra code is above and below the window. There are matrix type blocks of code and then lines under the window. I get this all the time and it is getting worse.
    Any help to get rid of it would be appreciated.

    Can you try Firefox in [[Safe Mode | Safe Mode]] to see if the problem goes away. I'm thinking it's an extension.

  • How do I disable "reopen windows when logging back in"

    Everytime I shutdown the mac asks me "reopen windows when logging back in". In fact the default is to do reopen all open programs when I restart. he annoying thing with apple is that when you close a window like Safari and iPhoto the program itself is not closed unless you spend extra time to go and QUIT each program. So naturally at least Mail and Safari are up when I'm ready to shutdown. On a other days MS Word, Excel and iPhoto are open as well. This is annoying to have to remember to QUIT everything when I'm sleepy before shutting down. Mac is supposed to be convenient not tedious. Please stop asking me if I want to reopen on logging back in. And worse yest stop assuming that this is the default action. Someone please help!

    You can uncheck the option box on the shut down screen. Or you can use a terminal command to disable it completely. Or you can get in the habit of using Command+Q (No Caps on the Q, Command+q) to shut down programs that you no longer need running. And if you get in that habit of using Command+q you don't need to close the window or windows that are open for that program. Command+q will close the program and the active window/s.
    EDIT:
    Here is a site that give you the command to disable this annoying ?FEATURE?.

  • Prompt window Issues-resize and date format setting to 'mm/dd/yyyy' .

    Guys,
            I have two issues which needs to be solved for better reporting.
            I am using url reporting approach to view reports in ActiveX viewer.
            1) I have to set date format to 'mm/dd/yyyy' in parameter prompt window by default It is in yyyy-mm-dd format.
             2) I have to make prompt window with full size screen in order to accommodate more than one date parameter and make it looks better.
         Can any one tell me how to change and fix date format and resize Prompt window?
          Should I open a ticket with business object in order to solve or customize the Crystal Report Server XI R2 configurations for us?
        Please suggest me some probable options for it.
    Sincerely,
    Sanjay Patel

    Hello Adlyd,
    SAP Business Objects does not support customizing Infoview, CR Server, or BusinessObjects Enterprise.  I'll post the content of SAP Business Objects Note 1218598 below that speaks to this.  Even if they could help customize CR Server/Enterprise/Infoview there's no way to change the parameter prompting page.  It's a page that is generated at runtime, and it isn't exposed to any of the BusinessObjects SDK.
    If you want to see if SAP Business Objects can help you with the date format that might be possible.  In North America you can call 1-800-877-2340, and select option 4, and then option 1.
    You can also purchase technical support from the [Online Store|http://store.businessobjects.com/store/bobjamer/DisplayProductByTypePage&parentCategoryID=&categoryID=11522300].
    Sincerely,
    Dan Kelleher
    NOTE: This Note was written for BOE XI and XI R2, but it applies to BOE XI 3.0 and 3.1 as well as all versions of CR Server since version XI (v11.0).

    1218598 - Support policy on customizing BusinessObjects InfoView and other applications
    Symptom
    In previous versions of Business Objects products, Business Objects Customer Support had assisted customers with the customization of the ePortfolio and InfoView applications by providing guidance on what changes were required for simple and specific custom features.
    What is the support policy for customizing BusinessObjects XI, XI Release 2, XI 3.0, XI 3.1 InfoView and the other included applications?
    Resolution
    Starting with BusinessObjects XI, code-level customization of InfoView and the other applications included with BusinessObjects XI is not supported and not recommended. These applications include Crystal Reports Explorer and the Central Management Console.
    InfoView is a fully-featured product and can be customized by changing settings in the Central Management Console or by changing values in the application configuration files only.
    Requests for custom features in InfoView or any other included applications will be treated either as enhancement requests, or in extreme cases, as product defects. Any feature that does not function as documented will be treated as a product defect.
    Custom features may also be implemented as part of an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement, or by engaging Business Objects Consulting Services.
    Background Information
    Modification of any of the following file types in BusinessObjects InfoView XI, XI Release 2, XI 3.0, XI 3.1 is not supported:
    .aspx
    .cs
    .vb
    .ascx
    .asax
    .jsp
    .java
    .js
    .htm

  • Disabling prompts blocks InfoPath publishing

    I have a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise environment with InfoPath 2010.  Using several forms published as content types in several site collections, all working fine.
    Users are getting prompted Open/Save of documents in libraries (word, excel) - Office Web Apps installed, mime types in place etc.  Found many articles saying that the solution is to disable the verbs Options and Propfind to remedy this behavior.
    I tested in Dev by modifying web.config with
    <verbs allowUnlisted="true">
    <add verb="OPTIONS" allowed="false" />
    <add verb="PROPFIND" allowed="false" />
    </verbs>
    Opening word & excel documents work as expected, hurray!
    Now attempting to
    publish InfoPath forms anywhere in the web app causes an error "URL is invalid".
    Researching that error typically points to the lack of a root site, which is not the case.  Removing the verb entry from web.config and the InfoPath forms publish fine.
    How can I disable prompting on Open for documents in the SharePoint libraries AND continue publishing InfoPath forms?

    This is why the first link is important:
    Important This URL list does not affect  the security zone settings. This URL list is used only for the specific purpose of forwarding the credentials to WebDAV servers. The list should be created as restrictively as possible to avoid
    any security issues. Also, because there is no specific deny list, the credentials are forwarded to all the servers that match this list.
    The second link stops the prompting when opening a document via http, vs WebDAV.
