Display "modified by" and "modified date" on sharepoint wiki pages.

Hi there,
I want to display "modified by" and "modified date" on sharepoint wiki pages as a footer note.
I googled about it and I got the following code which I have inserted in my master page(Since I want to display on 2400 pages).

It is working but last modifed user and date and time is visible only till page loads.
After page is loaded completely it dissappears.. Am I missing something??

How do i save a calender i have created with the photo and the dates saved on separate pages?

how do i save a calender i have created in photoshop with the photo and the dates saved as two separate pages? when i save as pdf or jpeg they are authomatically saving 1 pg with the photo and dates on one page. This is causing problems when i print.

Hi there, in case your printer cannot print very large, you can also crop down two versions and print them as separate documents.
1) Create a guide where you would like to split the pages by clicking on the ruler (hit command R if they are not showing) and dragging to the desired area.
Creating the guide will make it so you can be precise in the way you split up your page, and so that no part of the image will be repeated or lost.
2) Select the Crop Tool and fit the crop area to the top half of your calendar, using the guide you've just made to snap to the right spot. Hit return to finalize the crop.
3) Go to File > Save As. Name the file something like calendar_top and select the desired file format. Hit "Save."
4) Once you get back to your calendar file, Go to the History panel and select "Drag Guide." This will take you back to the step before you cropped the image.
5) Repeat the steps as before for the bottom half of the calendar, once again using the guide to help you make your crop area.
So then you would just print each of the two pages individually. The images will not be contained within one document, but if you have Acrobat you could combine the files.

I do not have a sample flow... but if you refer to the samples where these web services are used then you'd be able to translate those code samples into BizTalk flows.. For e.g.:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ms429658(v=office.14).aspx refers to returning list items. When you add generated items to your BizTalk for SharePoint Web Services, you'd get the schemas (xmlDocs in the sample) which you'd instantiate and
call.
When dealing with lists, you will need the GUID of the list so you need to do a GetLists call first and then get the GUID for your specific list from that. You will also encounter CAML which is what is used to query and get List Data.

If there are only those three fields in the database, the first question couldn’t be solved as per my understanding. As to other questions, we can use the following method to fix them.
Click the StartDate value in the Values pane, set DrawSideBySide property to False under the CustomAttributes section in the Properties Windows. Then the two ranges in same group can be stay in the same level.
Right-click the StartDate1 value in the Values pane, modify the top and bottom values as below:
Top value: =IIF(Fields!Start_Date.Value=Last(Fields!Start_Date.Value),NOTHING,Last(Fields!Start_Date.Value))
Bottom value: =IIF(Fields!End_Date.Value=LAST(Fields!End_Date.Value),NOTHING,LAST(Fields!End_Date.Value))
Then it can fix the second issue you occurred.
If there is another field named task in the database, then we can refer to the following steps to achieve your all requirement:
Add Start_Date field in the Values pane as below:
Top value: [Start_Date] Bottom value: [End_Date]
Add Name field to Category Groups pane.
Add task field to Category Groups pane.
Click the Start_Date value in the Values pane, set DrawSideBySide property to False under the CustomAttributes section in the Properties Windows.

On excel sheet upload read the workbook and populate data to sharepoint list

Requirement in my current project:
In a document library when I upload an excel sheet, a specific workbook has to be read and the contents have to be uploaded to a sharepoint custom list.
The approach followed was create an event receiver and register as a feature. Following is the code for event receiver.

as you described the scenario of the event that it should happen when user upload excel to a document library. Event Receiver is your best bet. However if you would have a requirement that users can send excel files any time to a network file location and
you want to pick it, read it and create list items etc. You would write a sharepoint timer job that would run every 10 minute to check for file and if available on the network drive, perform the operation etc. so that users who send excel file does not need
to come to the sharepoint etc. You can see that you have Event Receivcer option or Timer job option OR you would write a console application to trigger the code at a scheduled time on sharepoint server etc. so you are using the event receiver in the correct
scenario.

Adding or Displaying Site Actions Gear Icon Using Custom SharePoint Master Page

I am using a custom Master Page within my SharePoint Site in SharePoint 2013 Site. In the top right corner the Gear Icon is not displaying. But when I hover on it the place holder work and when I click on it the menu is displaying correctly.
Now I want it to display that gear icon using my custom master page.
So how can I do that? Could someone help me to solve this?

From your description, my understanding is that you customize a master page in SharePoint 2013, and you want to display the gear icon.
I wonder if just this site cannot display the icon or each site cannot display the icon in your farm? To resolve your issue, you could check these points in your environment:
Compare current site code to other site in file seattle.master. you could find code by these steps: search code with keywords [id="siteactiontd"] in seattle.master -> compare code between tags [<SharePoint:SiteActions></SharePoint:SiteActions>].
Then check if the URL of the gear icon is correct or not as the screenshot below.
Please check if there are some CSS code may hide your gear icon in you custom Master Page.
If each site cannot display the icon, you could check if the file spcommon.png(path:..\ 15\TEMPLATE\IMAGES) is missing or not.
In addition, you could debug your code with pressing F12 to open developer tool in IE.

Validate and Save data of the current page when tab changing

Using APEX version 2.2
We have a multi tab chain form, which each page / tab references a different table. Seperately, when each form is saved, the data is validated and committed to the database.
The business requirement is to be able to enter data on a form, and then click on another tab, and the page is "validated" and saved, and then the tabbed page is then shown.
From what I have seen on the forums, pressing a tab, will not validate and process the original form, only perform the page rendering processes.
I have read the forum thread Re: Navigating to non-current pages for a tab - but have not seen how this works? Is there some dialog missing?
What we would like to do is call the tab as per usual;

But also add the save validation first;
javascipt:dosubmit('SAVE'); javascipt:dosubmit('T_PAGE_6');
This would allow the full form validation
Is this part configurable? otherwise is there anothe solution we can use?

Jon, You essentially want your standard tabs to do nothing but act as buttons. If you can adjust the templates to make those "buttons" look like tabs, you'll have what you need.
Others will have to advise on how to do that, though.

On the Books page of iTunes, the titles under PDFs and Authors display as Thumbnail icons. Can I display them as a list of titles instead of icons?

Putting the files on your computer does not cause them to be added to the library. To add them, use the command File > Add Folder to Library, and point it to My Music or whatever folder(s) all the music is in.

Query to find universe modified date and modified by

Is there a way we can query to find universe last modified by and modified date?.
I was not able to find a field to pull "modified by" info.

I'm not exactly sure how you're going to get from Point "A" to Point "B", but here are the two points:
a) using QB you can perform a search as was specified in my last posting, which you point out only provides "owner"
b) if you have the Auditor portion running, then in the Audit_Detail table is the column "Detail_Type_ID" and each time a universe is accessed a code "2" is recorded and Detail_Text is loaded with the Universe name. If you join the Audit_Detail table to the Audit_Event table on Event_ID, then you'll have access to User_name and Start_Timestamp, which will show you who and when a Universe was accessed.

Display wikipage(default.aspx) in mobile view sharepoint 2010 foundation sp2

Recently I deployed a site using sharepoint foundation 2010 sp2.
The site has anonymous access to entire site. I developed some wiki pages using wikipage library. it's looking fine in desktop ,laptop,ipad,tab's.
But coming to mobile view the wikipages are not displaying. But I want to show the wiki page's in mobile view also.
So is there any setting required to set up for that? SP 2010 Foundation SP2

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to display wikipage in mobile view for SharePoint 2010 foundation sp2.
How about append "?Mobile=1" to the end of the URL of the home page using Internet Explorer? If cannot access, you need to enable the legacy MobileRedirection feature. This feature is enabled with a SharePoint
Management Shell cmdlet:
Enable-SPFeature –identity “MobileRedirection” –URL http://Server/SiteURL
Correspondingly, you can force a mobile device to load a nonmobile page by entering the URL of the nonmobile page and appending "?Mobile=0" to the end of the URL.
