Dispute Case Action Profile

Hi can some body guide me through the key settings which we have to do in Dispute Management - Action Profile Configuration.
Also what needs to be maintained by ABAP other than smart forms. I have done settings as per standard configuration guide
by copying standard profile but it is not working.
please explain the entire process if possible. points will be awarded for sure.

Hi,
Is your correspondence send by mail? Check your maintenance of you processing details. There is two checks:
1. In your action profile check per action definition if your processing types have been maintained. E.g. set to external communication and check default - all correct details have to be filled in with the tab document
2. Check the configuration of your conditions. Per action definition the processing details need to be correct. Check what communication method is set up in there. If mail try setting it to 'Internet mail'.
Hope that helps.

Richard

To disspell any doubts, SU53 shows the last failed auth check which the user invoked in a program, immediately before executing Su53. It is not necessarily the correct one to assign!

I assume by this that you are referring to profile name collisions. This has two common causes:
The SID ID's of PROD, QAS and DEV etc systems all have the same identical characters in the 1st and the 3rd place. Only these two are used in the generation of the profile name. Search for "AGR_NUM_2" for more infos and options.
Another (IMO more likely possibility) is that which SAP Note 1373111 describes in the reason codes of the FOR USER construct. The check might infact have been performed against a different user ID...
Please run the same with an ST01 trace on and check the reason code (if your kernel release is high enough).
Personally I am rather sceptical about this new mechanism in the wild. The old mechanism via FM AUTHORITY_CHECK at least gave us a where-usd-list and when jumping from the trace to the source it was clear what the developer had intended to do, even if they have already left the building...

  • FSCM-DM: Status of Dispute Case does not change

    Hi,
I'm facing a problem where i have a few dispute cases created in my worklist and, some of the invoices that are associated with the dispute case, are already paid.
The dispute case already disapear from "Dispute Case" tab but, when i check it again in the "Contact details" tab i notice that the status is still "In Process".
I customized my system like this:
    On status Management,
    SPRO=>Financial Supply Chain Management=>Dispute Management=>Dispute Case Processing=>Status Management=>Create Status Profile
Status   Status Discription SystemStatus System status discription
20            In Proces                                 002     In Process
    30           Confirmed                                008     Confirmed
    40           Closed                                     007     Closed
    50           Canceled                                 009     Voided/Deleted/Canceled
    And, in Process Integration
    SPRO=>Financial Supply Chain Management=>Dispute Management=>Dispute Case Processing=>Process Integration=>Define Automatic Status Changes
    Automatic reopen => 20
    Automatic Written of =>40
    Automatic closed => 40
Also, if i run the automatic written of program, no dispute case is considered.
    Test:
I have a test where i created an dispute case and aftwards i paid the invoice.
    Result:
The system generated an express mail requesting me to make a subsequent posting so i checked the SBWP transaction and i notice that there was an error and the system indicates to run the program FDM_PROCESS_BUFFER.
So, i run program FDM_PROCESS_BUFFER but i received the message that "Dispute Case 000000000222: Automatic close status 40 is not valid"
Thanks in advance for your inputs,

  • Dispute case does not get updated with subsequent partial payment

    Hi Experts
I am now still testing the Dispute management .. but it's my first time to see that some times created dispute case does not get updated with the payment posted against the invoice which the dispute case has been raised .. when i trying to add open item to the current dispute case i face this Error..
Process step 004: Change not possible, process step 003 missing
    Message no. UDM_MSG037
    Diagnosis
The dispute case is to be changed by process step 004 from accounting. However, there is at least one process (for example, clearing transaction from payment or credit memo) that was performed before the current step and that has not yet updated the dispute case. The changes to the dispute case must be carried out in the correct order.
    System Response
The dispute case could not be changed.
    Procedure
In an asynchronous change to dispute cases using IDoc, make sure that all IDocs of the previous process have been posted. Then you can carry out the required action (for example, post the current IDoc from process step 004 or include further items). The immediate previous process step is 003.
Your kind feed back is highly appreciated..

  • Dispute case Correspondences

    Hi There
Can any one share configuration to be done for Dispute case letters (Corresponodences) generation.?
We need to configure a rejection letter (disputed item being rejected and letter to be sent to customer notifiying the same) based on details available in dispute case (Ex: Disputed amount, currency, customer number, company code etc). As i know Form needs to be customized, we can get that done but once form is given by developers, where do we assign and how do we use this from UDM_DISPUTE (I beileve it is from Functions in Dispute case)?
Can any one share details on these and send it to maaleem at gmail please?

this is performed via Action config within Dispute Management
Sharing configuration documents is not the purpose of this forum board - but looking at the area of Action config should help.

  • Dispute case Amount Fields in Local Currency

Is it possible to have dispute case amount fields available in local currency instead of document currency?

You can add new fields to the Dispute case (attributes) - therefore it is possible.
It is not there as standard - however you can add the fields to the UDMCASEATTR00 table - define how they are populated via a BAdI - and then add the new fields into you case attribute profile.

  • Dispute case -- Co-ordinator and Origin field

    Hi All,
Dispute case is created. I went into Change mode, trying to populate Co-ordinator field and Origin field. These fields are greyed out and not ready for editing. Even though Attribute profile is changed to modifiable, i am not able to change. Help in this reagard is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Rajanikanth.

check all of the options in the attributes profile
on the far right is editable on creation only or something like that.
the other thing to check is that you are editing the correct attribute profile linked to the dispute case...

  • Dispute Case-Coordinator

    Hi Guys,
I know that the processor, person responsible and the coordinator need to be in the table usr02 so that a dispute case can be created, but in our present scenario we don't have the coordinators in SAP and I have stored them in a Z table.
So I need to update the dispute case with the coordinator found in this Z table, I have played with the attribute profile idea but it doesn't solve my problem.
Is there a solution where I can create a dispute case with the coordinator id from this Z table, I don't want to override the standard dispute case program.
    Thanks,
    Kumar.

How do you want to use the co-ordinator field? Is your issue with reporting, or with something like workflow.
You could create a Z Table, that has the user based on certain criteria, so Company Code, Customer type, Dispute reason code.
You can put a dummy user in the co-ordinator field, but use the value in the Z table for reporting or workflow.

  • Dispute case statuses

    hi,
can you please let me know the significances of the system statuses for dispute cases? like confirmed, i understand after this status, you cannot edit things anymore.

The status of a dispute should indicate where in the process chain the dispute is.
Ideally a process map is designed for processing and resolving disputes.
You may have a map as follows
1 - Dispute "created"  the dispute has been created
2 - Dispute "assigned"  an individual has been assigned to the dispute to process it
3 - Dispute "in processing" the individula has received the dispute and is working on it
4 - Dispute  "credit requested"  a credit has been requested
5 - Dispute  "credit raised" a credit has been raised - added to the dispute
6 - Dispute "no action required" a close status where no action is required - dispute is resolved
7 - Dispute "closed" customer has closed the dispute - items to be included in collectable amount
8 - Dispute "void" dispute was created incorrectly.
The above list is just a sample. You could use all of them, or just some of them, or even create new ones.
By having different statuses, it provides the user better information relating to the progress of the dispute, and enhances reporting.
    Hope this helps.

  • Question on dispute management status profile

    Dear Friends,
I have a quetion on SAP FSCM dispute management status profile. While setting up the status profile we would specify the status values. A number is assigned to each status and it will have corresponding system status. In the standard delivery the numbers assinged to status are (10,20,30..etc). Does any one know what is the significance of these values? My question is it required to use this numbers or it can be anything.
Any help will be greatly appreciated..

    Hello,
The status profile is used by definition of the Case Management configuration behind each Dispute.
A number is assigned to every step, and the number controls changes in the status, and can only be moved to a new number if it is customized to do so.That forbids you to jump into undesired states...
My general recommendation is keep them in ascending order, since the default when opening a case is to give the lowest value, and generally, closed cases are 98 or 98.
Configuration is done via: SPRO->FSCM->Dispute Management->Dispute Case Processing->Status Management->Create Status Profile.
Here is an Example for Legal Claim:
    10     10-New Case     001
    20     20-Pre-Presentation of Case     002
    21     21-Case Presentada     003
    22     22-Case - Rejected     003
    23     23-Case - Ammended     003
    30     30-Payment Order      003
    40     40-Personal Notification     003
    41     41-Notification via Advise     003
    42     42-Notification via Presentment of Charges     003
    43     43-Notificatio via Conculding Behaiviour     003
    50     50-Rebuttal     003
    60     60-Proof     003
    61     61-Questionning to the Parties     003
    62     62-Testimonies     003
    63     63-Document Exhibit     003
    64     64-Judicial Inspection     003
    70     70-Final Debate     003
    80     80-Sentence      003
I hope this answers your question.

However, VOID button is still greyed out. In other system we have configured with the same status profile values and VOID button is working fine in other system. We are not able to figure out what went wrong. Is there any authorizations missing for my User ID ?. Your help in this regard is appreciated.

  • Unable to create a new dispute case from UDM_DISPUTE

    Hello All,
When I try to create a new dispute case from UDM_DISPUTE, I get the following error.
    Duplication in attribute display: Attribute
    FIN_RFC_CREATOR already used
Can any one tell me what is the reason for the above error and how I can create a new test case using UDM_DISPUTE.
    Thanks
    Venkat

Check your attribute configuration in FSCM - Dispute Mgmt - Dispute Case Processing - Attribute Profile - Create Attribute Profile.  Select the attribute profile that is assigned to your Case Type and select Assign Attributes.  Look to see if the attribute FIN_RFC_CREATOR is listed twice.

  • Can i Change/Update the Lead Status using Action profile of Activity.

    Hi,
I have created one Lead, and on the basis of Qualification level action triggers and Ativity getting generated.
I want to know that it is possible by using functions(Action Profile/conditions) in activity, If i change the status reason of Activity (as Accepted) Earlier Leads status would change.(as Close)
    Please resolve with solution.
    Regurds,
    Dipesh.

    Hi Dipesh,
What I understand is, u wish to change the status of preceding lead transaction when the activity status reason is changed to accepted.
    1.  This functionality can be achieved using ORDER_SAVE Badi. This Badi implementation shall check the activity reason changed to accepted, if yes, read the doc flow, get the lead transaction and change its status to close.
    2. As per my knowledge use of action profiles and conditions will not be helpful in this case.Else, create an action definition as Activity reason changed, put a condition which like Activity reason= Accepted.
In the action definition Processing type use method call.
Here u will have to create a new implementation of the BADI of action profile, and put the same logic as stated in point 1.
But in think implementing point 1 should be easier.
    Wish the information is useful.

  • Hi CRM Gurus!!!!! Action Profile

    Hi CRM Gurus,
I am trying to send an Email from an Activity by using Action Profile. But unable to send an Email.
please help me in configuration steps.
    Points will be Rewarded.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Thanks,
    Rony

    Hi Gurus,
I'm not sure if I'm missing the point here, and apologise if I ma as I'm still relatively new to SAP.
Is this topic referring to CRM > Actions In Transaction?
We currently have an Action configured in SPRO for the ICWC that launches a smartform, sending the contents of the service ticket to one of our partner functions.  Unfortunately, the standard Action recording does not record all the details we want, only the status, description of the action and the date/time.
I want to change this so that the sender/recipient is also recorded for the user to see, but I cannot see a way to go about this without copying and recoding the SAP-standard BSP CRM_IC/SrvTAction.htm.
Does anyone have any suggestions?  I apologise if this is not linked to the thread - if this is the case please let me know and I will post elsewhere.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Andrew Griffin.
