Do Government Discounts Apply

I want to upgrade to the unlimited messaging plan for $30 and was wondering as the current discount is working for my data and minutes. Would it also work for the messaging plan?

You will need to chack with a store or your HR department to find out what exactly your employee discount covers. Each is different.
Mine covers, plan, data, messaging, and accessories

  • When you receive a corporate discount, exactly what is the discount applied to?

We assumed the discount applied to the total data.  But when we were checking why we haven't received any discount thus far, we were told we would only get the discount on the data!  What have others experienced?

It depends on your plan and the agreement with your employer.  On the More Everything, the discount typically applies to the data portion of the plan, not the line access fees.  On the older, Nationwide plans, (at least on my account) the discount applied to the voice/texting portion, and the data plan for my line only.
It normally does not apply to the entire bill.

  • Does iPod recycling discount apply to iPhone purchase?

I have two older iPod Touches that I plan to upgrade to iPhones.  Has anyone else tried to get an Apple store discount on the new purchase of an unlocked iPhone 5 when trading in an older iPod touch?
    Per http://www.apple.com/recycling/ipod-cell-phone/,
"Bring your old iPod to an Apple Retail Store and receive a 10 percent discount on the purchase of a new iPod.* "
    The little asterix states:
*Restrictions apply. Please see http://www.apple.com/legal/sales_policies/retail_us.html for more details."
But the linked sales policies do not provide any detail about products elgible for the discounts.
Searching the web, I discovered that iPhones are excluded from the Australia store recycling program:
"*10 percent discount does not apply to iPod shuffle or iPhone."
    Thanks!

The words you quoted in your intial post
"Bring your old iPod to an Apple Retail Store and receive a 10 percent discount on the purchase of a new iPod.* "
sat it all. Turn in an old iPod (except Shuffle) and get a discount on a new iPod.

  • Employee discount applied to international data

Ok heres my question i know that for international data plans you are charged only 64.99 for unlimited data but are these plans charged in top of the current data plan for smartphones which are 15.00 and 29.00 or its 64.99 for both domestic use and international use? and second if it is charged only 64.99 for both domestic and international does my employee discount still applies to that plan as well?

Not all plans are eligible to receive a discount. The following plans are not eligible for discount:
    Nationwide Unlimited plans,
    Some Mobile Broadband plans,
    Family SharePlan® Secondary lines,
    North America's Choice plans, and
    Month-to-month agreements.

  • Discount applied by Item Group Or Properties

Is it possible to apply different discount percentage prices relating to item group or item properties, to a BP group or BP properties. Eg: BP Group 1 has 10% for Item Group 3 and 15% for Item Group 4. BP Group 3 has 12% for item group 3 and 17% for item group 3.

    Dear Tim,
As experts are saying...you may check this once...
Go to Inventory->Price Lists->Special Prices for Business Partners
    1. Select a BP code and item code (Give discount after selecting price list) there
    2. go to ->Copy Discounts (right hand side bottom) . Here you can select the BP groups (and properties also) as per your
    need.
    3. Then go to -> Add Items  (middle bottom). Here you can select the group and properties for items as per your need.
Thus, your given discount in step1 will be copied.

    RS

  • Does 10% discount apply to iPhone 3G?

Sorry for the non-tech related question but I received a 10% off discount card from Apple a couple of months ago and I was wondering if I can use it to purchase an iPhone 3G at the Apple store?
I've heard that you can't, so I just wanted to confirm.
    THanks in advance,
    J

The fine print on the card should detail how the card can be used and what the exclusions are.

  • Order Level Discount applied just to merchandising not to shipping and taxes

    Hi All,
Do you know if there is a configuration to have an order discount just on Merchandising or on the order total?
Or  perhaps is something that can be configured on TaxCalculator.
    Regards,
    Obed

You can create a promotion at order level and specify any criteria like Spend Y and Get X, Buy X and get order discount etc. You will have 'n' number options available through BCC --> Promotions & Coupons if you are using ATG 10.x.
There are some promotion configuration on tax price as well, i.e for example if the Total Tax is greater than 100 give some discount, but the discount is not on the tax amount, it is on the total order price. If you want to give some discount on the total tax alone, then you might need to extend TaxPricingEngine with your own calculators.
    Cheers

My Document Date and Posting date are both same: Invoice Document and posting date : 07/31/2008
I tried to make a payment using F-53, where the Cash Discount is not applying automatically. It is asking me to manually enter the cah discount @ 3%.
What should i do to make cash discount apply automatically.
Thanks and Help will be surely rewarded.
    Matthew

Hello I just checked in my system it is automatically picking even if I am not taking the discount....check the payment terms....
ex : I have invoice for 500 with payment terms 1% discount
When I pay 500 in F-53 the system is showing me the net amount 495.
When I pay 495 the system is also showing me the net amount of 495
You might want to have a look at the payment terms.......
Make sure when you enter the amount in F-53 and press "Process Open Items", you have the discount percent populated automatically in the CashD% field.
    Thanks

  • Verizon never applied employee discount

When we first signed up in a store, the rep told us he'd take care of the discount.  What this meant was that he butchered the company email address.  Once we got that straightened out and were receiving e-bills at said company email address, I *assumed* the bill I paid each month included the discount.  After 18 months of paying what I thought was a bill that included a discount, I called to ask where exactly the discount shows on my bill and was informed there was NEVER an employee discount applied and that it's my fault for not noticing it (therefore no retroactive credit will be applied).

Did they ever resolve this issue?  Same thing with me.  I joined Verizon because of this program, and I figured out after two years they didn't apply the discount!  I feel like an idiot, but I created the account and my spouse paid the bill.  Over two years amounts to over 400 dollars.  Now that my account is up I decided to look at all available plans and offers, and finally realized that the discount was never applied!  They won't offer me anything.  After two years and thousands of dollars, Verizon will not help me with this.  I assumed and trusted Verizon to set up my account properly, but now it's my fault for trusting them.

  • If I trade-in my old iPod nano in-store for the discount, will it apply to something that is already on sale?

I want to trade in my old iPod nano (2nd gen) for the in-store discount, and then buy a new iPod touch. If the Touch is already on sale, will the trade-in discount apply ON TOP of the sale price?

I see no disclaimer on the Apple site that says you can't combine today's sale price with other other discounts. However, you have to ask Apple for sure.

  • GCU Discount not applied on purchase

I bought the Gamers Club Unlocked card online and took it into the store to activate it. After activating, I bought 1 game and preordered another (paid in full) game in store, using a $15 RZ certificate for part of it. I asked the cashier if it took off the 20% for Gamers Club, and he said he thinks the RZ certificate "supercedes" the Gamers Club discount. I didn't believe this was true, but didn't have time to argue and/or wait for a manager to try to figure it all out. First, is this true? I don't believe it is, because that wouldn't make much sense. Second, is there are way I can get the discount applied on those two games? If not, I can just return them and fix the GCU issue and rebuy them. If I do this, do I get my $15 RZ certificate back, or is that lost forever? Thanks!

    Hello midwestpunk24-
I’m glad to hear you joined the elite of the elite by purchasing the My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked membership.  Unfortunately, it sounds as though the store associate wasn’t completely up on how the program works and for that I apologize.
If the membership is activated correctly at the store, you should see the 20% discount on the new game and you should also be able to apply a rewards certificate to the purchase as well.  With pre-orders, since you are not actually buying a game yet, the discount is applied when you pick up the game; in addition, reward certificates are not able to be used on a pre-order, so this transaction may have been tricky.
However, the main issue that I see is that it appears the GCU was not activated correctly, which is why you most likely did not see the 20% discount.  If you can send me a private message with your full name, My Best Buy membership ID number and the BestBuy.com order number starting with BBY01 that had your GCU membership purchase on it, I can look further into this.
You can send me a private message by logging into the forum and clicking on the button across from my name on this signature.
    Thanks!

  • GCU discount did not applied to purchase.

I ordered a brand new game a few days ago and just noticed that GCU 20% off discount wasn't taken off. I'm 100% positive I was logged in when I made the purchase.

    Hi there O_O,
It's awesome to hear you purchased a new game recently, although I'm sorry to hear you may not have seen the 20% discount applied as anticipated. Using the information you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order. It appears the game you purchased was part of our Save $20 on Select Sony Video Games offer, so you wouldn't have received both the $20 off and 20% discount. I apologize if this wasn't how you anticipated the offers to apply. If you should have any other questions, please let us know.

  • List of Discount based on customer

    Obrigado

    Ok, sorry.
    Hi,
I'm new in the SAP world and i need a help with one doubts.
In the company I work, the process works as follows:
    1. Client is registered
    2. Sales Order (SO) registered for this client with the conditions of price (discounts) defined manually. But this client have's a list of discounts, by product family, aproved in an excel spreadsheet
3 SO passes for the first validation, which conferred all tax issues, carriers and whether it is within the trade policy and others.
    4. SO passes for the second validation, where they are released, or not, the discounts granted to the customer by the seller
Other steps are disregarded in this situation that i need help, so I will not proceed with they.
That said, my question would be how to eliminate the 4th step, since this client already has a list of defined discounts.
I wonder if the solution below is possible, and also if there is another solution, and only if customized.
In the customer master, I would to inform that discount i want to apply separated by product Family.
    For Example: Hygiene = 37% | Power = 25% | Drinks: 5%
And this registration will be approved by direction once, until the discounts need to be adjusted. Thus eliminating the 4th step and the directors would have to approve the registration of the client and not all sales orders. Thus, when an SO is registered, would have with the discount applied per family according to the registration of the client and automatically.
The 4th step only exist if there was a special case in which dealings were given a manual discount on OV.
    Is it possible?
    Tks.

  • Starting in June of this year I had been trying to apply my company's...

Starting in June of this year I had been trying to apply my company's
Verizon discount to my account. The first time I went in the tech said that
in order to do that the account, which was in my wife's name, would need to
be switched to mine. But after doing some checking he said that wasn't
necessary and that they would send an email to my work email which would
include a link. I was to click on the link and then follow the instructions
and since this was being done from my work email the discount would be
applied to my account. I did that and naturally the discount never appeared.
I went to the store again 2 weeks later and attempted to do the same thing
and was told the computers were down and they couldn't help me.
I returned again the next day and the computers were still down. I went in
again the next day and the computers were back up and a tech tried to
change the account to my name so my company discount could be applied but
was having trouble getting the name switched. He phoned someone at Verizon
and worked with them for a while and eventually put me on the phone with
them. I gave them my information and told them what I wanted to do and
after some time with him he said that the discount had been applied. Again
    the discount never appeared.
The end of August I went into the store with the intention of not only
trying to get the discount but to upgrade 2 of the 3 phones on my account.
We picked out the phones we wanted and discussed an upgrade to the account
and got all of that settled. At that time I mentioned that I wanted to
change the name on the account so I could get the discount and the tech
mumbled something and then told me that he couldn't do that. We continued
with the phone and plan upgrades and left the store. What I found out later
and what the tech failed to tell me was that Verizon was offering 1 Gig of
data per month for each upgrade, so I got 2 addition Gigs a month for free
which did show on my account summary.
The following week I again went into the store in an effort to get my
company discount. I was told again that the account name would need to be
changed to mine which I agreed to. After an hour and a half, 2 techs and 2
calls to Verizon the name was switched and the discount applied, at least
that was what I was told, I'll verify that when I receive my next bill. At
that point I asked if the 2 free gigs were shared data and was then told
that in order to change the name on the account the old account needed to
be closed and new one opened with my name and because of that any
promotions that were on the old account no longer applied. I was never told
this at any time during the process and if I had known I might not have
changed the name in order to keep the free data. This also wouldn't have
been a problem if the account had been changed any one of the 5 times I
tried to change it prior to it actually being changed. This whole ordeal is
completely unacceptable and was incredibly frustrating.  I lost 2 gigs of
data, which has disappeared from my account summary and which I still feel
I'm entitled to, because of the incompetence of not only one Verizon tech
    but several of them.
I am wondering if anyone at Verizon is interested in resolving this issue
by giving me the 2 gigs of data that i deserve.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

  • IPhone 3G purchases with IRU discount at AT&T Retail only (KB article)

Having stood in one of the long lines on Friday for the iPhone 3G at an Apple Retail Store, this KB document which was just posted yesterday could have saved us lots of time on launch day.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2349
Most of us had to walk in the store, find out that we couldn't purchase an iPhone 3G because of an IRU discount on our accounts, call AT&T multiple times (each call wait time around 10-15 minutes) to find someone who would take the IRU discount off our accounts, purchase the iPhone 3G, activate it later in the afternoon (because of the iTunes meltdown), call AT&T back to put the IRU discount back onto our accounts.
I was around the 40th in line at the Glendale Galleria store in CA and multiple waiters in line in front of me had to do the exact same thing, causing us these unnecessary long wait times.
If this KB article was posted before launch day, we could have called AT&T ahead of time and made sure our accounts were IRU discount free on Friday.
Of course, this is all after the fact. Sorry if this sounds like a rant. I think I can speak for everyone who waited in line with IRU discounts.

I wonder if this represents a policy change? I was told by AT&T before buying my iPhone 3G (which I did on launch day) that I needed to go to an AT&T Store to have the discount applied, or I could apply it later online. So, I bought my iPhone at an Apple Store, then activated the discount online the next day. On 7/25, I exchanged my iPhone for a new one, after I had the discount on the plan. The Apple employee simply called AT&T and had the discount removed (took about 2 minutes, with a quick verbal confirmation from me), and then activated my replacement phone. I then re-applied the discount online.
