Documents cannot be processed when requester has left the company

Dear Gurus,
We are working on SRM 7 and we would need to be advised for the followig.
We are facing an issue when users leave the company, if they where requestor for some documents, this documents cannot be processed anymore. Error "The attributes of other user are incosistent or not defined. See transaction PPOMA_BBP".
Currently these user are deassigned from the PPOMA and a standard interface update the field "valid to" in the BUT100 when they leave the company.
We tried to assign again them to the PPOMA. But the error has not been solved. Maybe that value "valid to" in BUT100 should be maintened in a different way.
We are using HR and standard interfases as far as i know.
Could you please advise regarding the best option to use in these cases of SRM.

I have seen this error many times, the user was probably deleted from the SRM system and so no subsequent actions can be taken on open documents linked to this user.
The SRM system behaves like this
In Standalone scenario:
SRM system is standalone system not connected with HR system
If we try to delete the user locally the system will check is there any
open documents if any open document exists
then the system won't allow to delete the
users which inturn won't delete the associated business partner
relationship.
So the user as well as the business partner relationship (BUT050 ,
BUT052) won't be deleted.
SRM with HR Replication scenario:
All the users are maintained in HR system and the HR system is the
leading system.
If the employee leaves the organisation, from HR side the requirement is
that the user has to
be deleted immediately. So here we can't check whether the user has open
documents in child system (i.e, SRM system), even if
we check and block the deletion of user in HR, from HR side this is not
acceptable from HR the user should be removed immediately. If the user
is deleted or delimited in HR side when the user is replicated to SRM
system the BP relationship will be deleted this is the reason that the
open documents could not be processed.
So the please follow either of these options,
1. Before deleting a user from HR make sure that all the open documents
are completed or assigned to some other
active requestor / recipient.
2. All the open documents associated to the deleted business partner or
user should be archived.
3. If the user is deleted in HR before closing the documents and still
want to access the open documents of the deleted user / Business Partner
they can use the Z Report which will replace the deleted Business
Partner with active business partner.
I have attached the report Z_change_pguid_002_new.txt please use
this report to replace the deleted Business partner with the active
business partner.

If you have the original receipts, you can take them to an Apple Store and they may be able to remove the activation lock. A good lesson learned to have an employee clear a device when leaving.

Without the previous user's ID and password, or getting him to remove the phone from his list of devices, the iPhone is useless. There is no workaround for this and certainly where individuals are concerned Apple cannot help.
I have seen a suggestion that Apple may be willing to do this in a corporate situation like the one you are in, but I've seen no confirmation of this. You have nothing to lose by contacting Apple and asking, but don't be surprised if you are told it can't be done. This is a security device and if it was possible to bypass it there would be no point in having it in the first place.

ECM - roll up functionality in ECM when a manager left the company

Hi Experts,
When a Manager B reports to Manager A. Manager B leaves the company and has 5 employees reporting to him; his position is now vacant in SAP. Should Manager A now see the 5 employees that reported to Manager B in Manager Au2019s list of direct reports in the initial planning screens? I meant automatically roll up to the one-up manager.
Currently, this is not happening in my system, the manger A need to go search from the Org Unit dropdown to find manager Bu2019s employees. Is there a configuration setting for this?

Hi Susan,
The recently released EhP4 constitutes "Multilevel Approval Process" centered upon the organizational structure of the enterprise, rather than the employees assigned to the units within it. Because the Multilevel Approval Process is based on the organizational structure, it is designed with the intent of simplifying, for each successively higher-level manager within that structure, the administration and execution of the entire compensation planning cycle.
Within the Multilevel Approval Process, the planning manager of an organizational unit is understood to be the manager who is responsible for submitting compensation planning data for employees of that unit who are not managers themselves.
Under normal circumstances, the planning manager of an organizational unit is synonymous with the manager of that unit u2013 provided that a corresponding user is assigned to that manager in the system. However, if an organizational unit has no manager, or if the manager of that organizational unit has no user in the system, then the next higher-level manager who has a user in the system becomes the planning manager for that organizational unit.
This is a completely new functionality. I don't think we have any option uptil EhP4.

User is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP as it tries to send an email to a user who have left the company

Hi Experts,
I need to remove a name on a group list in Outlook as the user is getting email delivery failure when processing via SAP (He sends the invoice for approval and emails get sent to different users for approval.) One of those users has left the company and so the user gets a email delivery failure error.
How do I remove this user who is no longer with the company?
The user is saying: When I approve an invoice in SAP it sends an email notification through outlook. One of those users is no longer with the company so it cannot deliver the notification, and in return send a delivery failure (in outlook). I am approving the invoices from my SAP Workplace inbox.
How do we know what group the email is going to?
Please let me know if you have seen this issue before. Greatly appreciate your help.

Please check whether you are using a custom z program for sending emails of approved invoices to users. If yes then either the user email ids are hardcoded in the program else a ztable is maintained for them.

Are you saying you're trying to sync your device to your computer? What exactly is the problem? The device doesn't show up? It doesn't sync?
What kind of computer is it (windows or mac) - that makes a difference.

Material document cannot be processed in MBST trasanction

Hi,
We want to cancel a Material Document Number 4906026157/2010, but system is giving an error message:
Material document cannot be processed
Message no. M7130
Scenerio: - User rejected the material by 122 mvmt. for rework on this material, after that material is not showing in MMBE.
When are doing now MBST, showing above mentioned error.
Plz guide..

This material document was generated through the posting of a physical inventory document, a delivery via Shipping, or some other automatic movement (such as an order confirmation in PP or a usage decision in QM) and cannot be processed with this function.
System response
In this transaction, the system can only cancel a material document if the latter was created using an Inventory Management transaction.
Procedure
Cancel the material document in the component that created the document.
You can only reverse the goods movement created through the posting of a physical inventory document by carrying out a new physical inventory for the relevant material. You can reverse a delivery effected via Shipping using transaction VL09.
Here please check whether by any of the above process this has got created or not?

1 Document cannot be Processed error in E-recruiting

Hello Experts,
We are facing an error when executing an activity for rejection of a candidate. On click of the 'Preview' link, the system displays an error message that '1 document cannot be processed'.
However, the surprising thing is that we do not get the error for Invite to interview activity (which is 'qualifying event' activity coupled with 'invitation' activity). But, we ONLY get the error for rejection activity (which is 'status change' activity coupled with 'invitation' activity). The system always looks for interface 'HRRCF_CS_IT_APPL_INVITATION' from table and we have not changed SAP standard config in T77RCF_DOC_CAT.
Also, we tried replicating the issue for rejection activity mentioned above using SAP standard activities and letters. We coupled 'qualifying event' with 'invitation' activity. But still, the system throws the same error...
Any inputs would be of great help!!!

I hope while cancelling the operation with CO13, the cacellation has been taken place as the entry has been passed to COGI.
In this case you need to work around the solution
First of all cancel the material document of issue of the 174 pcs of A to another porduction order.
Now post an entry of 177 with movement type 102 with reference to the order in MB31.
In the production order replace the auto GR key with non auto GR key.
Carry out confirmation with confirmed quantity as 174 & scrap as 3.
Now in MB31 carry out GR against the order with movement type 101.
I hope this would work.
Try it out & revert.

Recurring inspection lot is created automatically through tcode QA07.
But i will cancel the recurring inspection. it is stock relevant, because i cann't cancel directly from QA02> function> cacel inspection lot. So i was reversed the materials document which created when the inspection lot makes automatically through tcode MBST.
And i make the error message.

How to reverse the materials document??

what do you actually want to cancel? it looks like your inspection lot and the usage decision is done. What was the result of this usage decision? and how do you want it to be?
As you already know, a movement created from Q-module cannot be cancelled in MM with MBST.
so you need another movement created from QM module to make a transfer posting into the opposite direction.
Maybe it is easier for you to create a new inspection lot manually and process another usage decision, than going thru a cancellation process.

In the web UI we have business role IC_manger where you can search the activities based on employee responsible and you can use business transaction assignment functionality to assign those activities to any other end user or team.
Else you can also use Agent inbox functionality if you have configure the agent inbox for those activity.

OK, I'm new at this so here goes.
I created some documents in Word and when I email them, the recipient canot open them. Does anyone know why? How do I fix that.

Make sure you have removed the tick for hide extensions in the save as panel and for best compatibilirty choose the format as Word 97-2004 (.DOC) or better still Rich text format (.RTF)
If the extension is not appended any one with a Windows PC will be unable to open the document.
Windows is dumb and without the extension doesn't know what programme is supposed to open the file !
That said they CAN add the extension themselves if they know what application created the document in the first place.
Also in the mail app click on the Edit menu at the top of the screen scroll down to attachments and in the pop out menu make sure Always send windows friendly attachments is ticked.

I had Copernic Desktop Search installed with an add in to Firefox. On removing CDTS it has left the add-in and the remove button is inactive ie greyed out and I can not delkete it or see the folder in the extentions. Help appreciated to get rid of it.

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert

I am configuring RSS Viewer webpart to SP 2013.
But i am getting an error "An unexpected error occurred processing your request. Check the logs for details and correct the problem."
I looked for solution of this error. i got to know, we need to set proxy server in web.config file.
So, in order to resolve this i put the following set of code in web.config and save the file

But, still i am getting the error.
What could be the problem now.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you used RSS viewer web part in SharePoint 2013.
The RSS viewer web part uses authentication delegation and is using the current user's credentials to access the proxy. However, the RSS viewer only supports anonymous and Kerberos authentication. So if you are using NTLM authentication, the RSS viewer will
not be able to authenticate the user through the proxy. More information, please refer to the link:

It's possible that the desktop shortcut is corrupt. To create a new one, please follow these steps.
#Right click the existing shortcut and go to Properties.
#Then click the button called ''Find Target'' which will take you to '''firefox.exe'''.
#Delete the existing desktop shortcut.
#Right click and hold down the right mouse button while you drag firefox.exe out of its folder and onto the desktop. When you let go of the right mouse button, you'll get a menu. Choose '''Create Shortcut Here'''.
I believe the "Find Target" button has changed in Windows 7, but I can't recall what it's called now.

I would think, Twins1995, that if we are having the problem, others are as well. Hopefully, Apple will shortly issue a follow-up software release to fix the problem. Or is that just wishful thinking on my part.
It would be helpful, if there were some kind of work-around in the interim, so we can use our devices. Pretty frustrating when you consider that all of the hardware and software is produced by Apple.
