Draft folders not updating

I have delegates who update emails in my draft but after they save back into the drafts I don't see any update
If I close and reopen outlook the update is there but it does not update the draft folder automatically
Using Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 Professional PC. Connected to Exchange 2013.
Other users with same setup are having no issues.
Have tried recreating the profile on multiple machines

Hi,
When the delegates update emails in draft, please logon to OWA and check if the draft syncs there.
Are you using Outlook with Cached Exchange mode or Online Exchange mode? Please switch the mode to check the result.
In addition, there is a folder called Sync Issues in Outlook. You can press Ctrl + 6 to switch to Folder view and check on this folder to see if you have Sync errors there.

Folders not updating

We are using Exchange online and have about 60 users setup with Office365. In the last 24 hours we have had six users with their Outlook 2013 (desktop app) showing as connected but the folders are not updating. Users can still send and receive from OWA and
mobile phones are working fine. I am worried that the same issue might affect my other 55 users.
I have tried a bunch of things: run outlook in safe mode, resetting passwords, restarting PC's, running updates, pushing the send/receive button and waiting patiently, pushing the send/receive button and not waiting patiently, leaving the problem
over night to see if it fixes itself, clicking the update folder button, ...
clicking the update folder button gave error number 0x08004010f which lead me to creating new outlook profiles which solved the problem.
Can you tell me what is going wrong, can it be avoided and is this going to happen to more users?

Generally, the Error 0x8004010F when trying to send or receive email in Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 is generally caused by

Unread counts on "rules" destination folders not updating

Since I installed Leopard a few days ago I have a minor mail (3.1) issue. I use "rules" to distribute the mail to specified folders as it comes into the in box. The minor problem is that the unread counts on the destination folders is not always updating until they are clicked on. Anyone else see this? Normal? Fixable?

I've been having the same problem ever since I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard -- new mail messages that are directed to IMAP mailboxes via rules don't always change the unread mail count of the mailbox until I switch to that mailbox.
These are some of the steps I've taken to try and narrow the problem:
+ Disabled the use of the IDLE command (I'm not sure if my dovecot version 0.99.11 IMAP server supports it or not). Didn't seem to affect the problem.
+ Added a new rule (seemed to work okay -- unread count increased when mail was delivered to the mailbox). Since the problem seems more or less intermittent I'm not sure if this proves anything.
+ Removed old rules and replaced them with new rules that do the same thing. Still intermittent.
+ Tried clicking the "Get new mail in all accounts button", and it didn't update the unread count.
A theory:
+ Some of these mailboxes are rather large. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I've noticed that the "waiting" icon is displayed for about 5 seconds on one of the mailboxes.
An oddity:
+ When I'm sitting here and an email message arrives and is moved to a mailbox via a rule, I hear the new mail sound, so I know the Mail application at some level is aware of this new message, but the mailbox unread count doesn't change until I switch to the mailbox.
Some configuration information:
+ IMAP server (dovecot 0.99.11). Remained constant when I switched from Tiger to Leopard.
+ I leave all of my mail in mailboxes on the server.
+ I did have one interesting thing happen during the Tiger to Leopard upgrade that might be relevant -- after the upgrade, I had two "IMAP Account"s each with a copy of all of the mailboxes that are on the server. I'm guessing this somehow happened because I use either direct LAN access or ssh-tunnel access (when I'm on the road) and switch the name (and IP address) of the server as appropriate. Somehow this gave me two identically named accounts during the upgrade (one of the incoming mail servers was "ssh-tunnel" which is the host name I use for the ssh tunnel). I managed to remove one of them, but all of the mailbox settings in my rules disappeared and needed to be re-added.
Any suggestions are welcome -- it's not fun "polling" mailboxes to see if someone has sent you mail and is awaiting a response!

Yahoo mail folders not updated automatically

I have configured my yahoo mail box on the new iPad. I have a lot of folders in yahoo mail, which do not get updated with new mail on the iPad, like they do on the web. Is there any way to make this work?

Had same problem. Seems that a specific email is preventing loading. Was able to clear by going to Yahoo mail in iPad Safari and puling up and down on mail folder until showed all mail from today and back beyond the date of the stuck email date. Once email for the previously stuck folder showed all mail in iPad Safari, iPad mail app email folder showed all current email also.

Mail - imap drafts folder not updating on server

I have my mail setup to LEAVE any mail draft in the drafts folder on the server. I used 3 different mac book pros and my draft messages are only appearing on the system where I 'drafted' them. In the past this was working.
All other foldrers are behaving as I would expect. How can I rectify this? Thanks.

That is in fact what is going on - a version of the draft is stored locally on my laptop for example in DRAFTS and when I try to access the 'drafts' on another system, the draft is in some IMAP draft folder.
Not exactly intutive but as long as they are stored that's what is important to me.

Local Folders not updated?

Configuration: UCM and URM 10gR3 on a virtual machine running Windows XP.
I've installed the Folders component for URM, and as far as I can tell everything went smoothly. I am able to drag folders from my desktop into the Oracle WebDav directories viewable in Windows Explorer and I instantly see them in the URM web interface. I then setup a local folder and configured it in the admin area.... but I'm not seeing any syncing going on between the local folder and the virtual folder I have it assigned to.
As I understand it, when I move files into the virtual folder, it should show that file in the associated local folder as well. I've tried this several different ways, restarted the server, the machine, everything... but I can't seem to get any syncing between the two. Is there something I am overlooking in the configuration?
Any tips on doing this?

Are you running the latest versions of everything?
I found a similar issue with Local Folders on 10g a while back (>12 mths)but I am pretty sure it was fixed.

Most folders not updating from hotmail account

Recently installed Outlook 2013 as part of Office 2013 Pro.
Have tried to set it up with my hotmail account. Only the Inbox, Sent Mail and Deleted Items folders sync. The remaining folders do not sync and display the message "We didn't find anything to show here."
Can someone please explain! How is it possible that Outlook does not or cannot download all my hotmail messages?!

How did you configure your Hotmail account in Outlook 2013? Generally, we configure Hotmail account in Outlook 2013 via Exchange ActiveSync protocol. We should type the following server in the Mail server field:
m.hotmail.com
Please first make sure you have configured your account correctly in Outlook.
If you have configured your account correctly, please also make sure the "Mail to keep offline slider" is not set to a short period. To check this, click File > Account Settings > Account Settings > double-click your account and check
if the slider is set to 1 month. If so, change it to All to see the result.

IPhoto folders not updating

I have moved all my files to a new imac and have the new iphoto installed. All the images are there okay and the list of folders are showing on the left. However, the folders are all empty. It appears therefore that the link between the folders and the images are missing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I copied from an external disk. I did this by dragging the iphoto entry in the Finder from the external disk location to the internal disk on the iMac and put under the photos directory as per normal location. I did try the Migration tool, but that did not copy the photos or my itunes for some reason.

Finder folders not updating in real time

OS 10.8.2 - I have a folder on my desktop that I keep pdf printouts in that i generat in a MS Remote Desktop window at work. I have the folder linked thru the RDC. Prior to 10.8.1, this folder worked fine. The file would show up at the top of the window(as I have most updated selected for sorting). Now, the only way for the file to show up is if I delete an older file, any file, from that folder. Why is this happening? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I access this folder dozens of times a day and it's getting frustrating as I don't really want to delete any files from the folder.

According to your description, my understanding is that the changes in the documents cannot be synced immediately to SharePoint workspace from SharePoint Server.
All content in the SharePoint workspace and the SharePoint site is automatically synchronized as frequently as possible, at minimum every 10 minutes, depending on network traffic.
Please check the network traffic in your environment.
In addition, you didn't receive the acceptance notification when you invited new people to the workspace.
Please check if the Require acceptance confirmation is enabled when you invite new people.

BT Mail Folders not updating on outlook

When I create a new folder on BT Mail online it doesn't seem to carry over to my outlook. Any advice?

Thank you Licquorice. When I clicked on the folder tab, I had to subscribe to the new folder and unchecked the box that said only sinc to subscribed folders. All sorted now

Gmail folders do not update in Mail

Ever since upgrading to Mavericks my Gmail folders do not update in the Mail app. I don't have this problem with my iOS devices (iPhone 5 or iPad 3) both running the latest iOS version. Is there a work around.

So i pretty much got ticked at my iphone. Not only was my "sent folder" not updating, the new 2.0 was crashing and hanging all my applications. e-mail photos wont send, got error messesges , at least every application crashed at some point in the last week, even after i did a restore and back-up. SO pretty much i restored to factory out of the box settings and just started as a "new iphone".
as for the whole "sent folder" not updating. I changed the setting to download "Last 200" messeges. Then i kept updating until all 1,000 messeges were downloaded. After that point my iphone would update whenever i sent new messeges. But it would take forever cause it was checking against a 1,000 e-mails for new ones.... SO i give up, i just dumped all my "sent e-mails" to a new folder called "sent archives" ( u can call it whatever u want). I think this is the easiest fix for now.
if i get any more issues.. i'm just gonna go restore my phone back to the software rev before 2.0 came out....

When importing files, folders are not updated?

Could anyone please help?
Since I reinstalled Lightroom on a new harddrive (after a crash) whenever I import photos into my library, they appear in "Previous Import", but they are not visible in the destination folder. Even if I, in the import screen, make a new folder, this folder does not appear in the library, folders column untill I manually synchronize the parent folder.
Could anyone give me advice as to how to correct this problem?

Yes I have.(But it should anyway show folders. It doesn't scan automatically all folders and subfolders. So I should see something).
When did this problem start? Directly after you upgraded to Mavericks or before?
It started few days ago. I did not update anything or I did not install anything new software etc.
What is the file system on your drive "Kovalevy"?
It should be HFS or HFS Plus? I use these disks only with this Mac.
Is it formatted for Mac? MacOS Extended (Journaled)? Is the drive directly connected? And the what are the permissions on this drive? Have you tried to set the "Ignore Ownership on this volume" option? You can set it in the "File > Get Info" panel for the drive in the Finder: This panel will also show you the file system in the "General" brick.
It is formated MacOS Extended (Journaled).
Yes I tried "Ignore Ownership on this volume". No effect.
I don't have any problems with Finder, Final Cut etc. I can open projects, copy files etc.

New E-mail Badge number not updated with new mail in folders (iPhone 4S)

I setup my exchange e-mail to push certain folders as well as my inbox but only my inbox mail will update the badge number. If I get mail in a folder the phone just vibrates and shows the notification but the badge is not updated. Seems kind of pointless to have the mail pushed if the badge isn't updated as well. Is there a way to change this or a reason why it is not updating? And yes I have all the options to allow the badge to be shown, also show in notification center, show in lock screen, etc. It was working with 7.0.3, but after I updated it, I realized it stopped working. Any ideas?

If you thought this issue gets worse and if you have already set NtfsDisblesLastAccessUpdate to 0, then please revoke it to 1.
From the above Blog we can see that in Windows 7, the "Last Modified" field on log files is not updated when a program attempts to open the file or the utility is stopped, this is a design change to NTFS , becase we cache the metadata for
folder contents and do not refresh it until a handle is closed on an open file or an explicit call is made to retrieve the properties of an individual file.
Per your current issue that even if you closed these Vistual Studio files, the timestamp still didn't update. Please try the following and check whether any of them work:
- open the file in a second program
- view the proprties of the file
- "dir <filename>" at a command prompt
In addition, if you edit these Vistual Studio files with Notepad(Before doing that, please close all the programs include Vistual Studio) and try to reproduce the issue, does the issue still occur?

Exporting catalog, making changes, then importing catalog does not update file movements and deletions

I export part of my master catalog to a laptop. I include the image files so I can edit the files at full res. After managing and editing files I import the catalog back into the master catalog. When importing I check to replace metadata, develop settings and negative files. I have been running some tests to be sure all my work is being captured in the master catalog by this process. I find that if I change develop settings or photo ratings this is detected when the file is imported and the data in the master catalog is updated properly. The surprise is that if I delete files or move files among folders in the exported catalog these changes are not detected and these changes are not updated inthe master catalog. It seems bizarre to me that such changes are not detected but I do not see how to get LR to recognize these changes and include them in the catalog update. Without this capability I don't see how to use catalogs to move part of a catalog to another computer for edits and file management and then move back to the master catalog.

There are various reasons why Lightroom works this way, but you'll need use pick flags to indicate photos to be deleted, and other metadata like colours or collections.
