When I insert an easy rotator on 4 of my 5 pages, it shows up like this :
I need it to show normally.

White border around images in Easy Rotator

I would like for there to be a small white border around my images when i put them into easy rotator. I really just want there to be about a 5 px space around them that is really just the background. I cant seem to find the right place in the code to make the div that holds the background color... which is white...to make it have like a 5 px padding..
or even make a 5 px margin around all images.
I even tried to place the border around my images when placing them in the rotator but the top still pushed all the way up and there was only the white space on the left right and obviously the bottom where the dots are that shows which number slide I am on.
Where in the code will I find this so I can manipulate it... thanks again for always helping

Without a link, it's all guesswork.
Use Chrome or Firefox to preview your page. Right Click and select Inspect Elements. This should give you some idea of which CSS selectors are used by Easy Rotator.

Link thumbnails in separate page to specific images in Easy Rotator?

Hello.
I have a a web page with a grid of 16 thumbnail images.
I have a separate web page running an Easy Rotator Slideshow.
I want to be able to click on a thumbnail and have Easy Rotator start with it's corresponding image rather than from the start.

from the Easy Rotator Website. I'm able to open the Rotator (on a separate
webpage), but only from the beginning. That's as far as I've been able to
get.
I don't understand the following instructions (below the code).
I can't figure out how to link thumbnails to their corresponding images in
the rotator. I also have multiple thumbs that I need to link.

Then, to link to a specific photo in the rotator, link to that rotator's
page using er_col in the querystring. The er_col value should be the
zero-base numeric index of the slide. For example, if you want to link to
the third slide (index 2) in the rotator in gallery.html, use the following
link:
gallery.html?er_col=2
When the gallery.html page loads, the rotator will jump to the third slide.
If your rotator has multiple image categories, you can link to a specific
category via the er_row parameter. As with er_col, er_row should be the
zero-base index of the category. Building on our previous example, let's
suppose you want to link to the third photo in the second category. Here's
the link you would use:
gallery.html?er_row=1&er_col=2

Easy rotator is moving when someone is zooming page

Hello , I have recently opened new website and i have some problems with it...the link may show some errors because i just bought domain and it is still in propagation phase here is link: http://www.designmansion.org Ok so the problem is i installed easy rotator on the site and it works perfectly but when someone zooms the page it is not moving with the page it is moving left or right and it is very bad...like for example if i zoom the page easy rotator goes to the right and i only see the half of it and the text and other images are moving correctly...so how to fix that pls help? Your code is a total mess. Use the validation tools below and fix reported errors before you try to tackle the layout issues.

When your code is straightened out, upload your page again and post back. Basically you just need to center your page with CSS and then apply a relatively positioned #wrapper division around your EasyRotator div.

Easy Rotator Z-index.

I'm trying to get a division to sit on top of an Easy Rotator slider, but the images are always at the the top of the stack no matter what the z-index settings are. Any advice about how I might work it all out?

INGESTED DVCPRO HD FOOTAGE IN WRONG "EASY SETUP" - HELP!

OK, this falls under the heading: Just plain stupid. Nevertheless, now I am looking for a fix. I'm new to HD. I shot a short film with a Panasonic HVX-200. I was not going to have to do the post-production and would periodically load the footage into FCP as it was shot just to see how it looked. Then it turned out, I was asked to edit it under a tight deadline. However, when I ingested the footage into FCP I never changed the easy setup. The editing is now done and I wish to output to Digi Beta. But I now see the sequence settings are set for CCIR 601 NTSC! Is there a way to "undo" this and put in the proper setting? Or is the only way to re-ingest and re-edit? This is embarassing. But, hey, we all have to learn. Maybe publishing my error will save someone else down the road! Thanks for any help.

That's very interesting to learn that 601 NTSC is the proper setting for Digibeta. I didn't know that. Here are the exact current sequence settings:
Frame Size: 720 x 486. Aspect Ratio: CCIR 601 (40:27)

Gosh, I'm trying to remember if I had to render the footage as I dropped it into the timeline. I didn't think so. But now I can't swear to it.
I guess I have (at least) 2 questions: (1) Is there a way to "revert" to the HD format for this sequence now that it's edited? (2) Do I even want to do that if I want to output to digibeta print? What's the best thing to do to obtain a maximum quality digibeta print?
By the way, I just heard this week that the film was accepted into a film festival, so I'm under a dead line to deliver a print, preferrably in digibeta or beta sp format.

Easy Setup help

Hi there. I'm trying to capture old Hi8 movies into FCE and am having some trouble. I'm using a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV130 NTSC connected via Firewire. The device is daisy-chained through an external hard drive.
I'm not sure which Easy Setup preset will work best. When I use any setting with the Device Control Preset set to Firewire NTSC, Final Cut Express starts looking for timecode breaks on my tape and fails to capture each clip in its entirety (leaving off about 4-5 seconds from each).
However, when I use a setting with no Device Control Preset, my audio and video are captured out of sync.
I've tried capturing my footage via iMovie '09 and importing an XML file into FCE, but the quality doesn't look good, and the audio rendering time takes hours.

Thank you for replying. I hadn't thought of the audio being an issue, but I bet you're right. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to change the setting on my camera.
I'm planning on investing in an HD camcorder sometime soon, but until then, I guess I'll probably keep capturing using iMovie HD. Technology marches on....

It has been a long time since I have posted on this community - its nice to see some familiar avatars still here.
I have been developing an iphone/ipad app for cancer patients that requires streaming of video footage from a server. The app is sturctured in a simple tableview with images of a range of videos. The user selects these tableview cells and the video should then stream.
I hoped to use material saved on a private youTube account - but getting a seamless stream from the Tableview selection hasnt been easy. It seems that youTube clips must be loaded into a uiWebview and then selected. This feels clumsy.
I have subsequently opted to stream from an alternative server with .mov files. The code I am using is as follows:

Anybody have issues with colors changing in the EasyRotator? I've had issues with images changing color or intensity in my EasyRotator. Is there a solution. I most likely missed something...

Burning software on Macbook Pro -- easy question, help please!

I am about to get a Macbook Pro (I am a mac virgin, switching from PC) and i was just wondering if Macbook Pro comes with a burning program included? and if so, what it is called?

Yes, the MacBook Pro comes with a program called "Disk Utility". It can burn CDs and DVDs. You can do it also via the Finder, the Mac OS X "explorer" - in Windows world it's called Windows Explorer.
Don't forget you can also install Windows on your MacBook Pro, and use PC burning software.

Ok.....I'm obviously new to Spry-Ajax :) but have learned a
lot already I just need to understand how to work with the data in
the <body> area... I basically need to pull each image or set
of data individually and rotate each data set/image on the page at
10 second intervals.
