Email Campaign Archive List

Client wants an email newsletter archive list on their site for users to refer back to should they want to. Wondering if there is a clean and easy way to execute this? Anyone know where to get the links to the campaign mailings to list out on their site?

Hi Mauro.
We already have tried to use CRM_MKT_ADR_SEARCH Badi. We have implemented CHANGE_SEARCH_RESULTS method but with this it's only possible to choice between diferent Addresses Numbers.
But, we have the same Addr. Number with more than one email address in ADR6. All this email address are in the same Adrress Number and Person Number.
About your question, we are storing the newsletter emails into a Z table. This email adresses are already in BP address.
Thank you for your idea.
Do you have another way?

  • Newsletter email campaign - Mailling list with non "default" email address

    Hi all.
We need to implement a newsletter email campaign but, with standard campaign execution, SAP CRM gets the "default" email addressess of BPs.
We have a malling list of newsletter that contains a list of emails of our Business Partners.
This mails sholdn't be the standard ones of this BPs. BPs can has many email addressess (more than one) and they can be subscrited with a non default email (email without default flag in SAP CRM).
When we try to execute a Marketing campaign with these BPs, SAP CRM uses the default mail address to send the campaing.
Is possible to execute a Mailling campaign setting the email receivers?
    Thanks a lot.

Without dividing up a large email list, is there a way that I can send an email campaign out to a specific subset?

    Hi,
Unfortunately no as the only ways is to split up your existing mailing list and upload as a new list in this case.
    Kind regards,

  • When I send a webpage via email, some of my recipients are unable to see it properly. The website was made with iWeb, and a Mac person advised me this was the best way to do an email campaign with iWeb, but it's not working for a lot of my customers - why

I have recently created a website for my family's business. When we bought the Macbook the guy in Apple said the best way to send an email campaign to our mailing list was to publish a hidden page, find it in the browser on Safari, then share it via email, so that is what I do. For most of my customers this works fine, however I have a number of people each month who cannot see any of the content of the email. I have added an 'If you can't see this email properly...' link at the top of the page, with no shapes or images etc near it, but even that does not appear for them.
I am a self-taught novice unfortunately, so haven't a clue what the problem is. I'm not sure of the operating system, but we bought the Macbook in May and it has all the recent updates installed. I have just had a new baby so can't get into the store fdor a one-to-one, so if anyone could explain why this happens / what I can do about it, I would be very grateful! Thanks!

If you think getting your web pages to appear OK in all the major browsers is tricky then dealing with email clients is way worse. There are so many of them.
If you want to bulk email yourself, there are apps for it and their templates will work in most cases...

This one will create the form, database and send out the emails...

The alternative is to use a marketing service if your business can justify the cost. Their templates are tested in all the common email clients...

  • Follow-up email triggered on email campaign click

I am wondering if it is possible for a follow-up email campaign to be triggered once someone has clicked a link in the previous email.
For example, I want to send out an email to subscribers of an email campaign, with a link to an informative webinar. I then would like only those that have opened the email, and preferably clicked the link, to be sent a follow-up email (a day or 2 later) with extra contextual information that assumes they have watched the video.
My needs are not limited to this example, but hopefully you get the idea.
How might I go about doing this?

    Hi Dayle,
    You can't trigger campaigns based on a user's interaction with the e-mail content itself, if it points externally, but you could try to redirect the user to a BC page where you could auto subscribe him to a "follow-up mailing list" before redirecting to the video itself, as per your scenario (or having the video embedded there). In regards to enabling the webform to properly autosubmit the apropriate information, you could build the link by this pattern: http://yourBCwebsite.com/landingpage?email={module_emailaddress}&fullname={module_fullname}. This way the url will be different per each user clicking it, but it will point to the same page. On that page you can prepopulate the subscribe form fields with {module_url,email} and {module_url,fullname}
    Kind Regards,

  • Simple Email Campaign - Extracting reports

    Hi everyone,
I have a simple email campaign running (still active) and I am wondering how you can export the clicks, opens of this campaign. I can't see it in Insights as a campaign and there's nothing in the settings apart from campaign audit, entry and exit lists.
    Thank you,
    Edina

That's actually a very good point to make. Here's why I think it might not be working. Originally, that "Create a Simple Campaign" option did not exist. That came about during a release at some point last year. Prior that point, the only "Campaign" option was the Campaign Canvas (Create or Open) and the Campaign reporting was setup to be very literal because there are also automation programs in the Program Builder.
So, to make a long story short, it sounds as though Eloqua, for reporting purposes is defying their own literary definition here by treating a "Simple Campaign" identical to the old email send option from the email builder. This being the case, I would recommend that for the time being, you use the Email Analysis reports in Insight to look at the clicks/opens/etc of the campaign. However, it is probably a good idea to bring it up to your Eloqua rep because now that they have expanded the definition of what a "Campaign" is they should be more clear in Insights.

  • Email Campaign Execution: Contact person Relationship

    Hi All,
I created a target group which contains a list of Contact Persons. I am testing executing an email campaign against this target group.
This contact person also exists as a relationship to a prospect.
The email address maintained on the contact person master data may be different from the email address maintained on the relationship. Our end goal here is to execute the email campaing against the addresses maintained on the relationsip and not on the master data. When I execute the campaing, it sends the email out to the address maintained on the contact person master data. Do you know what I can do for it to pick up the email address maintained on the relationship? Is it standard CRM functionality for it to pick up the email address from the master data rather than the relationship?
Any comments/help on this would be greatly appreaciated.
    Thanks!
    Kiran.

    Hi!
I know that has been a while since you two resolved these question, but can someone give me a hint with this?
I'm facing a similiar question... I need to send campaign mails to contact persons (to the relationships contact mails). But i can not see any B2B flag... Can someone please tell me where can i check this field? (I'm working with CRM 7.0 (and Webclient UI))
    Thanks in advance

  • Can a workflow email another SharePoint List/Library?

I’m working on building out some automation in SharePoint to address some gaps in a currently manual process, but I’ve run into a snag.
Right now I have a custom tracking list for a group of users to use for checking the status of their requests. Based on the status, a workflow will kick off notices to the users letting them know where their requests are at. I want to expand upon this by
building an announcement list to receive emails from users (one of the few list templates that is configurable for this) to manage the growing volume of correspondence they produce. By having a list, I can create a workflow to auto sort, tag/categorize, and
auto-respond to emails based on tags/categories in ways that Outlook can’t. For the sake of non-repudiation and as evidence that the workflows are working correctly, I want to save copies of the notices SharePoint sends to 3rd list as
an archive. My 3rd list was also configured off the announcement list but it is not receiving the emails from the workflow. Since it is using the SharePoint exchange service account, I’m wondering if this a technical limitation that
cannot be resolved, or if there is a missing configuration we need to do on our end that is preventing this from working?
Essentially I’m trying to have SharePoint email itself from one list to another. Has anyone tried this or been successful?
(I prefer lists over libraries in this case because this is going to be moderately large scale data and I won’t have to drill down into documents for info. Lists also open of the possibility for more complex workflows later on should the need arise)
Tracking List (Custom List Template)     Incoming Requests (Announcement List Template)
                                   Archive (Announcement List Template

When we consider that email is simply a communications protocol being leveraged by the workflow, it becomes clear that the problem most likely lies in the email enablement of your Archive list.  If your Archive list is indeed identical to the Requests
list, then I would take a look at configuration for email on that list as it probably isn't configured correctly.  Additionally, you may wish to double check the email alias you're using in the workflow.  Sending email to the wrong email address
is just a slip of the keyboard but can result in many hours of debugging.  Ultimately, I would recommend tracking the email through Exchange logs to see if it's received and sent correctly.
I trust that answers your question...
    Thanks
    C

  • Is there a way to show / hide email campaign newsletter opt-in form based on current opt-in status?

We have a secure zone with email campaign opt-in as both a part of the registration form and as a stand alone form for users logged into the secure zone.
We want to only show the opt-in form to users who are not already registered for the campaign, but cannot find a way to do this via modules / tags / liquid / API.
I have searched the forums and cannot believe this is not possible. If not possible, it should be put on the list of development requests.
Is this possible and if not, any suggestions?
The best workaround I can think of is to use a CRM field to track campaign opt-in status and then js/css or liquid to show / hide the form.
    Thanks.

You won't be able to have a page showing 24 charts per host.
I really think that it is a bad idea to create a group per host, just to have the ability to add many charts.
The maintenance effort will be a big penalty.

  • How can I get the Email Campaigns Blog module to display correctly in Outlook?

I'm having a bit of trouble with this. I've used the email campaign builder to build a campaign; added the blog module to it and applied a custom template to it so that it should display correctly, but outlook has other ideas...
Here's what it should look like:
and here's what outlook gives me:
this is built within tables and the tables and cells all have set widths of 520px, yet the blog module seems to ignore this and somehow sit outside of them, breaking the template (BUT only in outlook).
Is this a problem anyone has experienced before?
Any ideas on how to fix it?
    Thanks
    Sam

HTML Email Campaign design is still a very tricky beast.  There are no standards like the makers of the major web browsers have been pushing for and adhering to over the years for web designers so since there are any number of email clients like your native mobile phone email clients, desktop clients like Outlook and Thunderbird and then web-based email clients like Gmail, Yahoo!, etc. there's no standard to display HTML in emails so each client does things differently.
Outlook and Gmail in the past have been the worst offenders. Fixing it is nothing simple.  You need to go into your markup and make sure every table has a width set both in the inline STYLE attribute as well as the WIDTH attribute on the TABLE element.
Outlook 2007 and 2010 are both horrendous at displaying HTML uniformly- as it relies on the Microsoft Word rendering engine.  Most of the time for my clients I tell them that if the end user can read and click links in Outlook then it's a win-- they're used to seeing horrible formatted emails no doubt.  But, if you find most of your email list is using Outlook (corporate/enterprise customers) then you should keep tweaking it.
It's impossible to tell from screenshots what the issue is-- it's likely a markup issue if there is one.

  • Emails in archive folders disappear

In Mail my emails in the archive folder disappear.  Inititally they disappeared and were not accessible.  I retrieved them from time machine backup moved them to the archive - once again they and other new email have disappeared.  However now a search finds the item - with the label they are in the archive folder - however if you view the archive folder there is nothing there.
Can anyone explain what is going on and if there is a way to regularise this.
FWIW I am the only useron this macbook

Your computer is likely configured to remove messages from the server after it gets them, so when the iPhone checks for those messages, they're gone.
Check the information in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3228 to see if your email client is listed.

  • Automated email campaign

    Hello all,
We are attempting to setup a simple automated email campaign (CRM 4.0), but we seem to be missing a step.
We have a campaign with a campaign element that has a target group assigned and a channel of Email. We can test the channel successfully from within the Marketing Planner (the email gets sent). So we know the email infrastructure is working.
When we transfer the target group to the channel (either manually or via workflow), an email list is created (as checked by crmd_email_list), but no emails are sent. Is there another job that needs to be run to actually send the emails?
    Thanks!

    Hi Kori,
please check the TRX SCOT , to see if Mails are sent out correctly.
Over there you have to customize your mail server for the mails you send out.
Particularly check in options "default domain".
Hope this solves the problem. Please reward with points if helps.

  • Survey Transaction / Email Campaign

    Hi Everyboddy!
I've configurated the scenario for email campaign (CRM 4.0)  and I have prepared an Campaign and its elements... and attached mail form.
I've some problems at the responses:
1 - When the customer responds the survey, it should be created a transaction related to referred survey,  but this is not happening.
2- When the customer responds the survey, I can see only the responses but not who has answered. I've already added the ++ at the end of link, but still doesn't work.
    Regards from Brazil !!!
    Nivea

    hi
regarding your first question yes as soon as customer respond to survey a inbound activity is genreated but you need to do some changes with the BAdi for this purpose if you do not do that it wont happen.
here is the procedure to achieve the same
n SAP Standard when a customer answers a survey, a new activity with transaction type ‘0000’ will be created that automatically triggers the follow-up processes. In our business scenario we’re not using transaction type ‘0000’ but ‘Y004’ instead.
To make the campaign automation survey scenario running for this transaction type as well you have to change a BAdI.
The following procedure describes where and how to adapt the respective changes.
In a real customer scenario this is a very likely procedure.
    Transaction Code SE18
    1. SAP Menu Architecture and Technology---->ABAP Workbench -
    >Utilities -
    >Business Add-Ins
    2. Enter the name of the respective BAdI CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI in the field Definition Name and choose Display first.
    3. Go to tab ‘Interface’ and double-click on the default implementation class CL_DEF_IM_CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI.
    4. Again, double-click on method IF_EX_CRM_MKTCA_SVY_PAI~PROCESS_SVY_PAI_FOR_CA and confirm the following dialog box with Yes.
    5. In the following you see the example implementation for transaction type ‘0000’.
    6. Now switch to change mode and search for ‘0000’ with the Find/Replace button.
    7. In the following replace the line
    iv_process_type = '0000' with the line
    iv_process_type = 'Y004'
    8. Save your settings and don’t forget to activate your coding again.
now just try to understand it
because as soon as customer repond to the survey you get an in bound activity
this activity generation is crucial part of response analysing because this activity contains the info regarding the customer response
    just go through this
regarding the second query buddy you wont be able to see which person has responded it is actually the number o hits you count ,so maximum you can see is that in display contact list the count  or total  number of people who have accessed it or responded to it.
you will only be able to get the name of the customer or customer details when customer respond tyo the survey and same info of campaign against the activity genreated can be found in table.
    best regards

  • Business Catalyst Help | Monitor email campaign performance

This question was posted in response to the following article: http://helpx.adobe.com/business-catalyst/sbo/monitor-email-campaign-performance.html

    Hi Greg,
Your assumption in terms of what we plan to do is correct, only that we haven't yet implemented. However, in the soft bounces tab, there is still an unsubscribe option under the Bulk action menu displayed at the botton of the list. YOu just have to scroll down the list to get to that button (I know, the interface could get a little better here).
    Best regards,

  • How can I modify the tag_unsubscribe in my email campaign?

I have reseached this and it says I can add type or modify my own message. I understand unsubscribe is a CANNSPAM issue and is madatory. I can not even find the tag to modify. On a web page I see that if I add tags I can modify them or get to them through the right hand menu while under the develop window. But I do not have that option in the email campaign window.
    Thanks for your help
    Wes

    Hi Wes,
If you do not add the tag it will put it in automatically at the bottom, so if you add the tag it will use that depending on where you want it and where you place it.
To change the wording you would do it as below:
    {tag_unsubscribe,Click here to remove yourself from our lists}
