Error 1009 for preloader and fullscreen method

hi all..
ı am working on a web site project and there is a problem.. I use flash cs4. I tried to use a fullscreen method, which is I learned at internet, and make a preloader. I can't explain this problem because of my english but ı attach the fla file ( www.simgeyazilim.com/index3_4.rar ). This is a very simple fla but ı failed. anybody help me to fix this problem?

the problem is on the second scene where you add the eventlistener to but1.
if you remove that then the error doesn't appear anymore.

Need to fix Error 1009 for very simple task!

Hi to all,
I'm learning AS3 for the first time so that I can make a game, but I'm stuck on the most basic of tasks!
What I want to do is be able to click on a button to take me to the next frame of the main timeline, which I've called "gameboard". The button is called "storymode".
In the first frame of the main timeline, I have a movie clip that runs a short animation before the menu appears. My button that I want to click on is nested in this movie clip.
This is the code I'm using on frame 95 of the movie clip (exactly where the button appears):

...but it just gives me Error 1009 every time and won't work!
I've read a few other forums for help on this error already and tried a few potential solutions, but nothing works - so I'm asking my own question! Also, I ran the debugging tool in Flash, and it tells me the error is specifically on Line 3 (beginning with the word 'storymode'). I've made sure that everything has a name, and double and triple-checked that I'm referring to the right names in the right places, so "storymode" does indeed refer to my button!
One cause I read about was that the button may not have been loaded yet, but I've made sure that the code is on the same frame as the button. It appears in the exported file and changes colour when hovered over like a functional button, so it's definitely loaded! It just doesn't work when clicked! What could the problem be?!
I am utterly bewildered by this and desperately need help, otherwise I will never be able to progress to more difficult tasks!

Kglad, I did as you suggested, and that gives me not only another error (1120: Access of undefined property titlemenu (that's the name of the movieclip)), but it also negates all the "stop" commands I've put in the timeline actions, resulting in the export flickering uncontrollably between the first and second frames on the main timeline.
I had this problem before I had the 1009 error, and managed to fix it on my own. Back then, it was Error 1061, and was caused by me using the wrong target in my code. I had:
this.parent.gotoAndStop("gameboard")
instead of
evt.target.parent.gotoAndStop("gameboard")
...and changing it to the latter fixed Error 1061. However, this error 1120 causes the same problem again, so it's a targeting issue I'm not very willing to change, I think.
I've tried about a dozen different targeting options as well, and none of them solve Error 1009.

Customizing order for setter and getter methods in ViewRowImpl

I have problem to calculate value for one attribute of my viewObjectRow which depends on values of other attributes in my row and result of stored function. I menaged to do all of this except getting value one of attributes that i need. Order of calling getter methods doesn't fit me. I tried lot of things, but nothig worked! Is there some way to customize calling order for getter and setter methods in ViewRowImpl and How?

But as Timo says, there's no automatic way that I know of. I suppose you could do something like that by making your own code template.

The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope. This could mean that the object....
- is declared but not instantiated
- doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
- does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
- is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
- is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s).
If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved.

Error 1009 at Drag and Drop

iam loading an Flex app into an Flash App. In the Flex App is an Drag an Drop with a List. Its crazy , but when the Flash App loads the Flex app for the fist time the Drag and Drop works fine. But when i unload it and load it for the second time it throws this Error:

Ok, so about this problem of yours... it's been brought up in this forum before -- Error 1009 on drag/drop events within lists when those lists are not in the main application domain (whether it's a pop up or some module). See the post here:

A bug was supposed to have been created for this issue. If not, I recommend you submit a new bug and reference yours and the other post's test case. Also worth asking the other poster if they came up with a workaround.
My hunch is that whatever is tripping you up is internal and non trivial (i.e. I have no idea why this is happening and have no obvious workaround for you ). Best o luck,

I have 8 records (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) to update into SAP database using CALL TRANSACTION and SESSION Method. If there is a error in 6th record. What happens in both call transaction and session method.
Please let me know which records will process and what about the error record. How to process only the error record if all other records have updated into database.

Error 1009 for end-user

Hello,
"It is unlikely that an end-user would ever experience Flash player error 1009" - but I do when trying to look some videos (youtube is no problem, but babelgum.com and videos on flickr don't work, for instance) I used the uninstaller and reinstalled the player, but the problem persists (Mac Os 10.5.8, safari 4.0.3 / firefox 3.5.2)

As far as I now, there is no possibility to differenciate users in a group.
This means that if you can't differenciate users belonging to a group, you will not be able to identify if he is administrator or not of the group. So it will not be possible to assign him a specific role that will allow him to populate users in that group only.
For your information, you can use the role "pcd:portal_content/administrator/user_admin/delegated_user_admin_role" to allow user to :
- create other users
- top grant roles for with they have the "Role Assigment" permissions
- but not to populate groups (what could lead to security problem, ie you can make your self member of Administrators group, and so have the SuperAdmin role)

Error msg for UIComponent and correct style/icons for associated label

I am using the "error(UIComponent component, String summary)" method on a page bean to set an error message for a specific UI component from a submit event handler, which is great because that shows an error message next to the component that caused the problem in the first place. For instance, if I get a data integrity error such as duplicate key from the data layer, I can use this approach to tell the user which UI component is causing the problem.
However, the "error" method does not set the error icon and the correct style (e.g. bold and red) for any associated labels in the same way a validator does. Does anyone know a way to achieve this from an action event handler. Keep in mind that I am referring to errors such as data integrity errors which can only be detected when you are already running the action event handler, which means the validation phase has already been done.

Error(), fatal(), info() and warn() issue FacesMessages that get picked up by the MessageGroup component.
By adding in the uicomponent you can target the facesMessage so that it gets picked up by the Message component associated with the field causing the error.
But, to get the label to show the error as well, you need to throw a validationError. See this tutorial for more informaiton:

Error 1009 when dragging and dropping

Hello All,
I have a problem in a large application with dragging and dropping between datagrids. I created a simple example of the issue below. Basically, when I press the button I get a pop-up with 2 datagrids. When Initially try to drag an item from the source grid to the destination grid I get a serious of errors:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
..etc
If I then try and drag and drop again, it works without error. Can anyone shed light on this? Code below:

I can confirm this error. I'm using Firefox, Windows Vista, Flash Player 10, SDK build 11250. There are two error boxes that appear when you try to drag an item on the first attempt and on successive attempts (but only if you drag over the destgrid, then back to the srcgrid and then back again to the destgrid). Error lights for paper and cartridge

The error lights for paper feeding problems and cartridge jams are both on. I have checked both the paper feeding and the movement of the cartridge. There are no problems in either area (no paper is jammed anywhere and the cartridge can move freely). Yet, I cannot get the two error lights to go away, even when I unplugged the printer, disconnect the power cord and press the cancel button. I've tried everything in the step-by-step troubleshooting on the HP website, and I also downloaded the complete software package from HP and checked for driver updates. What else is there to do? Is this printer compatible with MacOS "Yosemite"?

You can try 1 more step.Unplug the printer cable while the printer is turned ON.Wait for 60 seconds.Connect the power cable back to the printer.Remove the ink cartridges and place them back again.If this step does not work,then it is a hardware issue with printer and needs to be replaced.

Error codes for install and uninstall

Hello I have Adobe reader 10.1.6 on my computer but it will not load I get 2 error codes a 2503 and 2502 if I try to uninstall the programe i get the same codes can you help

How do I make it so say I want the array to allow me to enter 2 numbers (so I enter 2 numbers) then it asks me to enter a number between 1 -100 (which will prompt 2 times) that it shows me the results for the entered numbers between 1-100 after one another instead of number then result number then result like I how it now. If I understand you correctly, use 2 loops. One gathers user inputs and stores them in an array/List. The second loop iterates over the array/List and does calculations.

Error Messages for iTunes and Quicktime, what do I do?

Hello, I'm in need of some help.
Let me walk you all through what I did for the last 4 hours:
(important note: I suck at far too much computer stuff, so I am fully aware that as you read the following, at certain points I probably made the problem much worse than it needed to be, I am not proud of this, but everything you read did happen, stupid as it probably was for me to pursue the problems in the particular way that I did. Hindsight is 20/20.)
I updated my iTunes v7.7 to v8.0 today, and after trying it out for a while decided that I didn't like it and wanted to go back to what I was using before.
So, because I didn't know what else to do, I tried to re-install the original iTunes software that came with my iPod (a 20gig classic I bought in 2004). That version of iTunes was v6.0 (again, 3 years ago).
Part way through the installation process, I got a message that said that, because I had a newer version of iTunes on the computer already, it wouldn't install the version on the disk.
So I uninstalled v8.0, restarted my computer, and installed the v6.0 from the CD-ROM I had.
It was then that I found I had NONE of the 6000+ songs in my iTunes window. I checked my computers files to find that they were still in the library, but my iTunes screen was completely devoid of all my music.
So I tried to get it all back on the player. I discovered that by right-clicking "Play" for the individual files from the folders in my iTunes that they would come up on the player, but that meant that I'd be clicking in 6000+ songs, one by one, till they were all back. I didn't want to do that.
So I tried a system restore (again, read "important note" at top of post). After that happened and I was looking at my desktop again, tried opening iTunes, and it gave me a message that said:
"iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
And it asks if I wanna send an error report. I decline, then try opening Quicktime. Same message. So I try to uninstall both programs (i know, i know, "important note"), and iTunes uninstalls, Quicktime does not, because, as my computer puts it, "a fatal error occurs."
But since I have iTunes uninstalled, I go to apples site and download iTunes v8.0 again. After waiting for all that to get done, I get the same error message.
So I peruse this very discussion forum, and after looking for a good while at what is being recommended I go to a site and download v7.7 again.
Again, I get the same error message.
So here I am. I've tried working it out myself for the last 4 hours, and I seem to have made things worse.
So please, please, PLEASE, I ask for any help you can provide.
Can I get my iTunes back?
Is my Quicktime corrupted now?
Am I totally screwed?

I had the same problem when I went to upgrade to 8 and then downgrade back to 7.7. To fix this is a little involved, but you can do it. Let me put it this way, I talked my mother through it on the phone, and she has a hard time finding the power button So no worries, I'll help you get back up and running. I am running Vista now, so I am going off of memory for Vista, so bear with me.
I would do the following:
1. Uninstall both iTunes and Quicktime by going to Control Panel-Add Remove Programs, and choosing first Quicktime then iTunes.
2. Clean your registry. Easy now, it is not that hard. To do it, go to http://www.ccleaner.com/download and download CCleaner. It is free and has NO spyware. Install it and run the registry cleaner. It will remove any trace of both programs from the registry. Now you have 2 choices.
3a. Now I would install iTunes 8. Because you already installed it once, it converted its database file that it uses to track the library and play lists up to the iTunes 8 standard.
3b. If you have no problem loosing your playlists and library settings, you can go back to iTunes 7.7. To do this, first search for "itunes.ttl". To do this, go to Start-Search Files and Folders- and type in "iTunes.ttl" Once the search finishes, it will tell you where it is located. Navigate there using Windows Explorer or My Computer and delete it. Now you can install iTunes 7.7 with out any errors. You will not loose any files! just your playlists and it will not remember what is in your library.
As far as adding your songs again, did you try to re-importing your music? If you go to the file menu-add folder to library. It will bring up a dialogue box that will allow you to browse to the folder with your music.
