Today i stumbled upon the "Error #1107 The ABC data is
corrupt, attempt to read out of bounds."
I googled the problem, but the only suggested workaroud (foud
in the bugbase - https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/ASC-2289) was
not applicable to my case. The problem was reproduceable with Flex
3.2 and Flex 4 SDKs.
However, commenting out parts of my code, i found out that
the problem was causing my set of test data, which was
syntactically correct, but very very large (static const Array with
34611 objects to be precise). I deleted half of the test objects
and the error was gone.

you just change the default program you open swf's with in windows..

Hi everyone,
I'm having an absolute nightmare with my current project (a Flash game) just now as I keep getting the above error. With a bit of rooting around it seems that it is being caused by my one of my MovieClips - a simple mc containing a set of tutorial pages on how to play the game. I've googled the error but keep finding conflicting 'causes' none of which seem to apply to my project. If I remove this movieclip from my code the project works fine, so the issue is definitely coming from it.
One possible cause of this error I read was 'annonymous' functions on the timeline. Now I'm not entirely sure what an annonymous function is, but I have since commented out ALL of my timeline code with the exception of a stop() command in each keyframe. I don't usually code on the timeline at all because I think it's messy, this was just a one off. Either way, it made no difference whatsoever.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this error? Everything contained in this mc with the exception to a few text boxes is used elsewhere in the project so I really can't understand why it's causing issues here. I've been stuck now for about a day and a half and I'm running out of time to get this fixed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The error is occuring as soon as I call the constructor for the class. I haven't actually written a class for it so it's crashing when it calls the default constructor created for it by Flash.
Other than the stop(); commands on each keyframe I have written absolutely no other code for it.
Oh I don't know if it makes a difference, but I started having the problem ever since I started trying to follow this tutorial :

and I changed everything to not export on the first frame, but instead have everything in a MovieClip on frame 2 as described here.

I'm trying to install iTunes on my machine and am getting this error message:

In order to play m4p files, you must authorise your new PC. iTunes should prompt you to do this if you try to play an m4p file on an unauthorised PC.
Apple has a strict download once policy, so you cannot re-download files that you have already downloaded.
The simplest way to get you files off the external drive is to add the folder containing your music to iTunes with File>>Add folder to library. You need to ensure that "Copy to itunes music folder when adding to library" is checked on the advanced tab of Preferences.
Doing it this way is easy but you lose counts and ratings etc. If you want to recover these, there are two possibilities.
If you had your iTunes folder containing the the iTunes Library files on the external drive, You can simply connect to it by doing a shift key start.
Hold down the shift key and start iTunes. Keep holding the shift key until you are promoted to choose a library. Navigate to the iTunes folder on the external drive and choose iTunes Library.itl.
But I suspect that you had your iTunes folder with lirbary files on your old PC. Recovering the library data is more complicated and I will need more information about your old set up if you want to attempt it.

Click on the hard drive on the desktop, then File > Get Info. What does it say about permissions? If this is just a data drive you may want to consider "ignore ownership on this volume".
Otherwise I can only say I have not been reading good things about Seagate drives recently. I have some of their rock-solid ones from about 10 years ago (still running well), but now...?

Did you downgrade iTunes? What version is listed in Help> About iTunes?

Error message 'The Outlook data file (.pst) failed to load for this session.' when adding PST in Outlook addin

Hi All,
I have an Outlook (2003-2013) addin developed using C# (NOT VSTO).
A new client (using the desktop client for Outlook 365) has got a COMException error message stating 'The Outlook data file (.pst) failed to load for this session.' at the code line where I add the PST store (using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.NameSpaceClass.AddStoreEx).
I have never come across this error message before and there is barely any mention of this message on any forums. The only question I could find regarding this has been asked mid 2014 and hasn't been answered.
I'm fairly sure this is not related to either DisablePST or PSTDisableGrow registry key settings as I check fore their existance and notify the user separately.
Could anyone help me out on how to resolve this? I do not know where to begin even.

Thanks for the reply.
I pass the location that the PST is to be created (as a string), and the OlStoreType.olStoreUnicode constant.
The client is using a network location to store the PST file (even though we advised them not to) - leading to many corrupt PST files (that they are apparently happy to live with), but this is the first time we came across this message.
I would assume the problem is with that file, as no other clients are having any issue like this.
Have you come across this error message? Do you know what sort of scenario could be responsible for it?
Or would I have to file it under "random problems generated by network PSTs"? :P

Error Activating the ODS data

I am facing an error while activating the data in the ODS.
The data is loading perfectly fine but when activating the ODS data the following error is coming

System error occurred (RFC call)
No confirmation for request ODSR_3ZI9DUVOMM02L1I777X5YX9QU when activating the ODS object PA_ODS1
There is no PSA for InfoSource 8PA_OA001 and source system BWPCLNT641 ( The data laod is without PSA )
This is happening after we had a BWQ refresh .
I thought this has something to do with the BASIS guys but they say they checked everything.

There were red requests in the ODS but I deleted them and tried activating the green requests , even when there are only 4 records it is not activating the data.
I checked the RESREQDONE table but I dont see these requests in there.
I checked the SM58 there I saw a lot of errors

I gone through the document numbers in production system the following dates are updated for this documents.
What we need is to find the root cause for the issue of why would two documents does not get cleared while the other 3 were cleared immediately. Also, we had system issues today during the same time. Please check if you can find any OSS messages out there on what happens if the system shuts down while the finance documents are being processed. Do they get stored in a temporary table some where and what would cause those documents to be passed to PCA while they are in this u201Climbou201D?

the diffrenec in it picking the diffrerent claering date. but it has to pick the same date for all the documents.
Please let us know why it is picking the different claering dates and sometimes it performing the System shutdown.
Note: these 5 documents are updated in BKPF table for the date 2/11/2010 but it should not cleared all the documents. it has cleared only 3 documents.
and only 3 documents are updated in GLPCA table for the date 2/11/2010 and two cleared on 3/01/2010.
now the problem is why it has updated BKPF table for all the documents on 2/11/2010,even the documents are not cleared?

I cannot open PDF documents correctly. I get an error on the page that says there is an error on the document. Neither Adobe Acrobat or Reader work.

I cannot open pdf files that are maps correctly . Some of the data layers are missing. I get a warning message that there is an error in the document and I should contact the originator. I have both Adobe Acrobat and the free version of Reader but neither will open them. When I forward them to other clients, they cannot open them either but can open them from the original sender.

Open Tools/Options/Advanced/general/Config. editor, copy mail.server.default.fetch_by_chunks into the search box, double-click the preference to make its value false, OK, restart TB, and see if you still have problems with pdf attachments.
For messages that have already been received in IMAP accounts, you can force a re-download by selecting the Message Source (Ctrl-U), then try to open the attachment.
