Error 513, no message was created in support desk system BCOS005

Hi All,
After completing the ITSM config on Solution Manager 7.1, I am stuck with the following error when creating message from any of the satellite system, or from SM itself.
"Because of error 513, no message was created in support desk system"
Message no. BCOS005
Error logs from SLG1:
"No message created from SAP message 00xxxxxx 000xxxxx 2013 due to missing IBase"
Transaction: SOLMAN_INCIDENT_UPD
Program:AI_CRM_IM_UPDATE_FROM_SAP
I have already checked various threads and suggested notes including 1522809 / 1741109, but unable to fix the issue.
RFC's between both the systems are working fine. The entry for BCOS_CUST on SM is maintained as
OSS_MSG   W    NONE    CUST   6.2    1.0
The number range for SLF1 is maintained as 01 in TCode DNO_CUST01
I suspect this to be related to IBASE or Number range, but seem to have the correct values maintained as mentioned in above notes. Would appreciate your valuable inputs on this.
Thanks,
Varun

Hi Vivek,
Tried updating the parameter, but no luck
"Because of error 513, no message was created in support desk system"
Message no. BCOS005
Should be something to do with BCOS, can't figure out though.
Any further thoughts?
Regards,
Varun

has been revised rfc connections and have no problem because when the user is done with NetWeaver - works perfect basis.
Nor is it because of permissions users have the same roles that were assigned in the other systems DEV and PRD, and when they have no problems sending messages.
I have reviewed the table BCOS_CUST "and is fine. As in other systems.

  • Because of error 513, no message was created in Support Desk System

    Hello all...
Currently setting up Service Desk and when I create a service message in my satellite systems (ECC DEV, QAS, PRD, etc.), I get the error 513 as described in my subject line.
I am able to create messages within the Solution Manager environment without issue, but nothing but the error in my satellites.
Any information / assistance is greatly appreciated in advance.
    We are using SM 4.0
    Thanks!!!

Is your table BCOS_CUST configured so it points to the Solution Manager? If you do a test connection via SM59 for the given destination, does it work?

or deeper in the log :

Would you be so kind and tell me what to check/do/read next?

  • Error in deployed compoents when running diagnostics & support desk tool

when I run netweaver Business Explorer diagnostics & support desk tool
I got error in "deployed components".
    the message says:
"The SCA 'BI-BASE-S' (7.00 SPS 9, patch level #0) is a invalid combination of version/support package with your WebAS ABAP system (7.00 19)"
    the solution says

then I was referred to note 1013369 and 1163789. then which SCA file SPS/patch do I need for ABAP SPS19?
what do I need to do? and how do I do this? my basis guy need advice.
    George

    Hello George,
To correct this issue ensure that both your WebAS Java and your WebAS ABAP have a valid combination of version and support package stack level.
Also you can check the note  1013369 -  SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI - intermediate Support Packages
    and check the compatibility table.
I hope that this can help you.
    Kind regards

  • Message exchanging by using Support Desk

    Hi everyone.
I want to know wheher it is possible or not that user can exchange message
    by using only R/3.
I know it is possible that user can register message.
But if answer from Support Desk is not satisfied , message exchange is go on.
    thanks!
    Toshi

    Dear Toshi,
If an Support Desk message has to be replied by the creator of the message, he has to access the message. ( using either Solution Manager or Webgui or ICwebclient ).  There is no chance that he can append the message using the satellite system unless you have some kind of an transaction developed so that end users can access and reply to their messages or add more information to their messages if it is required.
I hope that this clarifies the doubt.
    Regards

  • Error FRM-40012 Form was created by a new version of Oracle Forms.

    Hi,
I install my db, AS and Developer Suite in the same machine. When I run the forms by Developer, it keep complaining report server unaccessable. Someone told me to run it by AS. When I try, the error FRM-40012 prompts out. I check the version of Form is 10.2.1.0.2 and the Forms Services Version is 9.0.4.0.19 which is the only available version in Oracle web site.
Can anybody tell me how to do to solve the problem? Thanks.
    Rgds

To say things a little clearer, don't develop with Forms 10 and deply on Forms 9. If you want to develop on Forms 9.0.4 & deploy on 9.0.4, that will work.
Also, 10gR1 (which includes Forms 9.0.4) is going to be desupported at the end of this year. 10.1.2.0.2 is a good place to be right now.
So, the best answer is to keep developing in Forms 10 & get the Forms 10 in AS 10gR2 Forms & Reports Services which is available for download on OTN at: http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/101202.html
Be sure to look for Forms & Reports Services Standalone. It is a one disk download for most platforms.

    Steve

  • Error 513 while creating a support message (related to roles/profiles)

    Hello everyone,
my user is getting the generous error 513 while sending a support message either on the SAP GUI or Workcenter. I am trying to implement a profile for a key user, who can display, reply and create simple messages without putting in technical data.
I gave him the following roles:
    SAP_SMWORK_INCIDENT_MAN
    SAP_SUPPCF_CREATE
    SAP_SUPPCF_ADMIN
    SAP_SUPPDESK_DISPLAY
    SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE
    SAP_SV_FDB_NOTIF_BC_CREATE
and a generous role with the missing parts:
    ZSAP_SMWC
When I tried sending a message with the GUI I used SU53 to find out which rights are missing and added them to ZSAP_SMWC. Now I got all of them and the SU53 replies that there are no more missing rights.
Thing is: When I add the profile SAPALL to my user, it works just fine. This is leading me to a problem i can't solve._
I also have to say that I accidently deleted some flags inside of sap_suppcf_create without copying it. Is there a way to restore SAP standard settings?
    Thanks in advance,
    Hendrik

  • Error while creatBecause of error 513

    Hi frds,
we are working with solman 4.0 SP10 and getting error "Because of error 513, no message was created in Support Desk System" we have seen note number 498984 and 614311 which are of upto basis release 620. Anybody have the solution on this, mentioned notes doesnt works. Also please let me know whether service desk is client specific or not .Can we have seprate support desk in 2 clients of solman .
    Thanks in advance
    chirag

    Hi Chirag,
could you please check note no. 864195 dealing with this issue? I assume, the user from the RFC-destination from your satellite system to the Solution Manager system does not have the appropriate authorization in the Solution Manager system.
Check also the table BCOS_CUST, if it contains the right entry for OSS_MSG.
You can only have one Solution Manager support desk, it is not possible to have two of them parallelly.

    Hello All,
When I try to send message(Service desk) from satellite system, i get following message
"Because of error 513, no message was creat
    Support Desk System"
I gusses there is some problem with authorisation.
please guide how can I fix this issue.
    Regards,
    Shyam.

    Hi Gurus,
I have assigned customized action profile to SLFN transaction.
When I try to send message(Service desk) from satellite system, I get following message
"Because of error 513, no message was created
    Support Desk System"
But when we check in crm_dno_monitor , the message is created at the backend, but without assigning external number range.
Whenever I am making any modification in action profile, it is creating the first messgae after restart
of SAP Solman System, but for next message, Error 513 message is raised and message is created at backend without assigning external number to it
I think there is some problem in number range or buffer in number range
Can some one help me in this

  • Error 513 - Sdesk related

    Hi,
For some reason all of sudden while creating support message from satellite system it is returning error 513, no message created in support desk system... Strange enough the messages are still getting created in solution manager and can be displayed from CRM_DNO_MONITOR of solution manager. This behaviour is happening from all satellite systems going to that solution manager system. All the satellite systems were working fine till few days back. I referred SDN throughly and did all sort of checks in solution manager but no luck.
Did anyone encountered this type of scenario ? (normally if this error comes nothing gets created in solution manager but in our case it is getting created and also RFC user in the SM_SIDCLNT100_BACK got SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW also.
    Thanks

    All,
Issue is fixed from my side. For some strange reason the action definition SLFN0001_ADVANCED_UPDATE_DNO was missing from action definitions and conditions
Path for that is : (SPRO-CRM -> Basic Functions -> Actions -> Actions in Transaction -> Change Actions and Conditions -> Define Conditions
Press Technical Names -> Select SLFN0001_ADVANCED and in the right side under Action Def -> SLFN0001_ADVANCED_UPDATE_DNO was not there and after adding that all is back working again
    Thanks
