  • Account Assignment Error When Posting GI Against Sales Order

    Hello SAP Experts,
We are currently experiencing a problem during goods issueance against sales order (VL02N). The system terminates the issueance and gives error:
"Account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO object".
We have tried maintaining the GL account in OKB9 and assign a default profit center there but i didn't work. The material master also contains the profit center. We were only able to post the transaction if we try to default the a cost center in FS00. However we dont want to assign a default cost center as cost centers differ by plant. We are wondering why it asks the cost center considering that it already contains the sales order assignment. We checked the field selection of the GL account, movement type and even the posting key and all showed that the cost center is not required. We are now in a dead end situation here. Please please help us.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Praveen,
Thank you for your immediate response.
What confuses me is the fact that it asks for a CO element when in fact it is already assigned to one (it is goods issuance against sales order). Do you know why is the system behaving that way?
    Thanks!.

  • Error while creating the sales order with billing reference

    hi alll
i am getting error while creating the sales order with billing reference. The line items are coming in grey.I am not able to change the items as well as the quantity field. Can u guide me
    cheers
    shalsa007........

    Dear SAP SD 007
I can confidently tell that an enhancement or an user exit has been applied in your scenario
    You have to check that
Normally when creating a sales order with respect or referring billing documents the qty will be in editable mode and it is standard problem
Your people has solved the standard problem by enhancement
Usually OR--LF-PGI----F2 (SAY THE QTY IS 25 UNITS)
Now you are creating returns order with reference to F2 in the return order type Re there is a standard issue that user can edit the qty to 30 from the original 25
To solve this only your people have used userexit
Line items and qty greyed out means definately there is some enhancement or user exit applied
    You have to check that

  • Reg.Purchase order against sale order( E )

    Dear Experts
I configured PO against cost centre (K - Cost center and G/L A/c is created) and it is working. But I want to configure against sale order (E).what is the configuration required. Pls advise in details
    Thanks
    Rajakumar.K

    Dear Raja,
Third-party order processing (for direct-to-customer delivery/drop shipment) is triggered when a sales order containing a third-party item is created.
When this occurs, the system automatically generates a purchase requisition item of the category u201Cthird-partyu201D for each delivery schedule line of the sales order item.
This requisition item is converted into a purchase order (PO) item. Depending on the confirmation control key, the quantities/dates in the sales order are confirmed when the PO is created or an order acknowledgment is maintained.
If you create a third-party item without referencing a requisition generated from a sales order, this is not third-party order processing in the foregoing sense: a matching-up of the data between the SD sales order and the purchase order cannot be carried out in such cases!
    Sales Order
In the standard system, the sales order item for the third-party process has the item category TAS (this is found automatically if the item category group BANS has been set in the material master, or it can be changed manually). In the standard system, the schedule line category CS is found for the item category TAS. It is specified in Customizing for the schedule line category CS that a purchase requisition (type NB) with the item category '5' (third-party) and account assignment category 'X' is generated.
The number of the requisition that is generated can be displayed via the delivery schedule lines in procurement.
If a PO is generated from this requisition, it can be seen in the document flow for the SD sales order (Environment  Document flow).
    Purchase Requisition
The requisition is generated via the function module ME_REQUISITION_EXT. An important characteristic is that the field EBAN-ESTKZ (creation indicator) contains a 'V'. If a third-party requisition is created in dialog mode, this field does not contain the indicator u2018Vu2019 u2013 that is to say, this is not a third-party process in the sense defined. A source determination process is carried out at the time of creation. The purchase order units found during this process are adopted! The account assignment, containing the number, item, and schedule line of the sales order, cannot be changed in the requisition. The account assignment is the u2018pointeru2019 between the requisition and the SD order!! Since Release 4.6, the delivery address cannot be changed either. The address of the goods recipient (ship-to party) from the SD order is adopted as the delivery address (caution: this can be located both at header and item level in the SD order).
There is a requisition item for each delivery schedule line in the sales order!
    Purchase Order
Purchase order items generated from the above requisitions contain EKPO-STATU = 'V'. The delivery address comes directly from the sales order (see LMEPOF3T MEPO_ITEM_FILL_ADDR) and cannot be changed. Neither can the account assignment be changed; here too it is the 'pointeru2019 between the PO and the sales order. In the standard system, the account assignment category is 'X', with KZVBR = ' '. Since the account assignment is located at item level, you must not convert several third-party requisitions into a single PO item, otherwise the update of the sales order is liable to fail!
An 'actual' goods receipt does not take place with regard to a third-party item. The 'WEPOS' indicator is not set for the item categories 'S', but can be set manually. The posting of a GR results merely in a value update here. The entry of a vendor invoice can be made dependent on the prior entry of a GR. In the third-party process, this only makes sense if you wish to prevent the customer from receiving an invoice before having received the goods. A goods receipt should be recorded when the vendor reports the outward delivery.
At the time of saving, the document flow and confirmations are updated in the SD order. If problems should arise on the SD side due to changes (e.g. the customer has been blocked), an error message is issued here first!
In the case of third-party items generated without reference to a 'third-party requisition', i.e. the item category u2018Su2019 is merely entered manually, there can be no update between SD order and purchase order. Here, for example, the delivery address is not read from the sales order u2013 it must be entered manually (mandatory field).

  • Error as Deficit in Sales Order stock in VL02N

    Hi Experts,
We have a problem while doing PGI in VL02N we are getting below mentioned error as                       Deficit in Sales Order stock. We have analyzed and found that although GR for PO is done, the Customer stock for Sales is not getting updated .we has referred in the same in MD04 also.  So while doing PGI the error "Deficit in Sales Order stock" is displayed.
Please guide us to proceed further on this issue.
    Cheers,
    Kumar.S

    Hi Kumar
Deficit in Sales Order stock. during PGI
The reason is in MMBE there is no sales order stocks reserved against your sales order number
We have analyzed and found that although GR for PO is done, the Customer stock for Sales
is not getting updated .we have referred in the same in MD04 also.
I beleive that you are  doing individual purchase order As soon as you save the sales order system will trigger a PR and MM will convert the PR to PO and GR is made against the PO and after the receipt of stocks you will create the delivery for your sales order
If this is the process you are doing then your sales order item category should be TAB with special stock indicator E marked
    Check this
whether you have marked E in item category TAB in VOV7
and make sure GR is made as a sales order stocks against this PO
In standard it will be managed as a sales order stock and Item cate group of the material in MMR should be BANC
Or if you are creating the sales order with  item category  marked with special stock indicator E and if you  receive the material from vendor then receive it through MB1C with movement type 561 E
    This should solve your problem
Create a fresh cycle and see and after making the suggested settings

    Raja

  • Error while saving the Sales Order

    Hi experts,
i am getting a runtime error while saving a sales order stating: SAPSQL_EMPTY_TABNAME. It says the field T681-KOTAB could be empty. I would give in more inputs. Someone plz help.
    Thanks.

I would expect that KOTN521 would be a Database table defined in the ABAP Dictionary that relates to the condition implemented in 521 for the usage specified in that record.
You should be able to go into the info system, SE84, and search under ABAP Dictionary / Database Tables to see what KOTN521 is.
Also, since the only Keys to T681 are KVEWE and KOTABNR, and there are two KOTABNR entries with a value of 521, then there must be two different usages (KVEWE) associated with that table.
If you see what they are, you can check to see what the usages represent.   Based on a lookup, it appears that a usage of N is for Free Goods, A is for Pricing etc.   In our system, we only have A entries.
What are the usages for the 521 entries?  Do they relate to Free Goods/Pricing???
Does the table KOTN521 exist in the ABAP Dictionary?
Answering these questions may get you closer to the answer.
Can you compare the values in these entries to what you have in different SIDs?
Is this problem happening in Production, or is it still in a development or Quality Assurance client?
If it is still in development or Q, then it may be that a recent customization change was made.
Compare the entries across your systems, if possible.
    Good luck
    Brian

  • RunTime Error while saving a Sales Order

    Hi All,
When i am saving a Sales Order, the system is throwing a Runtime Error.
The ABAP Code in the Runtime Error screen as follows.
              select * from (t681-kotab) appending table <cond_tab>
                     up to 1 rows
                     where kappl  = se_kappl
                     and   kschl  = se_kschl
                     and   datbi >= se_date
                     and   datab <= se_date
                     and   (coding_tab).
Till these days, there was no such error while saving a Sales Order.
    How to resolve this issue?
    Regards
    Pavan

    Hi,
The below piece of code is trying to get the contents of the table mentioned in T681-KOTAB.
    select * from (t681-kotab) appending table <cond_tab>
    up to 1 rows
    where kappl = se_kappl
    and kschl = se_kschl
    and datbi >= se_date
    and datab <= se_date
    and (coding_tab).
The reason could be is someone has screwed up the entries in T681 table. Check that out.
Try to put a break point on this SELECT query and see what the value of T681-KOTAB holds before the SELECT query. Check whether such a table entry exists in DB.
Let me know if you are still stuck up.
If you can send me the ST22 dump of the run time error, i might be able to help you more  on this.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Balaji

  • Returns on sales orders regarding contracts

    Hi Guys,
I have a problem with returns on sales orders.
We get returns on sales orders - like most companies.
If the sales order has a parent order of the type contract / quantity agreement,
the return is increasing the open quantity of the contract.
Is there any possibility to prevent this behaviour in standard SAP,
    without a modification?
Thanks - for any tip !!

    Hello Manuel,
    My understanding of ur situation:
U have a qty contract, say for 100 items and have sold 25 items. The contract is updated and shows open qty as 75 items.
After the sale, the customer has returned the 25 items and the contract is updated back as 100 items.
And, you do not want this standard behavior of SAP to take place?
In this case, go to the copy control of the item category and uncheck the update document flow indicator.
However, plz note that if the update doc flow is not set the customer can order as much as he would like to, without the qty contract being updated. Niether would you be able to see the document flow.
I hope this helps, plz get back for further clarifications.
    Rgds,
    Raghu.

  • Price error - In creation of sales order

    Dear ALl,
When i am trying to create a sales order with the t -code VA01 and enter a material i get a warning saying
"000010:: Enter Pricing".This happens only for one customer ,for other customer with the same material there is no warning.
Can some one guide as to what is missing for this customer.
    Thanks in advance,
    Swati

    Hi,
You have to maintain the CONDITION RECORDS for the MWST condition type in the transaction code VK11
Alternatively  you can also do some configration to make the MWST as Optional
In the Pricing procedure V/08 uncheck the  MANDATORY and check the Manual option which will not display the Error.
During the Sales order processing you can enter the MWST price as some percentage.
Please do the above and revert back if you need any other details
    thanks,
    santosh
