Error performing search in twitter

When I try to search using Twitter for Safari a message says "error perfroming search". I have uninstalled and installed the Twitter extension but get the same resutls- "error performing search".

what you need is this:
http://lucene.apache.org/java/docs/
you will need to google for how to use it ofcourse, but i think it has plugins for searching inside weird formats. Also, check out this source code:
http://www.lucenebook.com/LuceneInAction.zip
there is sample code in there that searches weird formats.
good luck

  • "Outlook cannot perform search. Cannot display view." error coming up when searching shared calenders in Outlook 2010.

    Hi,
So I am having issues with the advanced find feature in Outlook 2010. When I goes to search a shared calender it gives me the "Outlook cannot perform search. Cannot display view." error. It is odd because it only does it with shared calenders
and only when a calender is selected. If I search my inbox it works fine. It also works fine when I first open Outlook and perform a search without selecting any calenders. If I select on it then gives me the error. I have tried resetting the views, I ran
cleanfinders and I went through this page (http://www.msoutlook.info/question/47) and rebuilt the index/scanned the pst/etc. Nothing seems to be working. I would appreciate some help if anyone knows why this would be happening.
    Thank you for your time,
    Gabe M.

Pst file size would not cause this and Outlook 2010 can have huge pst files as long as you use the new Unicode format.
If the problem is a corrupt view, cleanviews will clear it. I'm sure there are other causes besides corrupt views, but I can't think of any at the moment.
Does it work in Safe mode? To open Outlook in Safe mode: Close Outlook then hold Ctrl as you click on the Outlook icon. You'll get a message asking if you want to start in Safe mode. Click Ok.

  • Error when performing search:  getExtendedProperties [LDAP: error code 50

    Hi there,
We are currently running OAS 10.1.2. We have an application which is running Oracle Forms. To get access to these forms, the authenication is a combination of the user logging on to their windows domain, (AD SSO) and having the correct username and groups within Oracle OID and DAS.
We have a major problem at the moment in Production where every so often a user will get rejected for having insufficient access rights, and the UserID in the logs being Null. Yet if they try again it works.
Does anyone know why this might be happening for?
Here is the Forms log :

  • "Error:The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost", after DELETE

    Good day,
On Search Page, I have searched for the record(s) then deleted a record and got confirmation message i.e. Record has deleted. Next when I search for any record I'm getting below error.
    Error
The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost.
Could you please help me to fix this issue. Your response is highly appreciated.

// this page so we can handle the action in this processFormRequest( ) method.
              String visit_id = pageContext.getParameter("visit_id");
              String employeeName = pageContext.getParameter("last_name") + ", " + pageContext.getParameter("first_name");

  • How to perform search string more effectively ?

    Hi all,
I need to perform searching of string in the following manner where is keying by the user. Unfortunately, human typing error had caused problem in my procedure searching, so I thaught of searching the correct string no matter how the user is keying.
    The correct statement is :-
    SOIC TEST OUT QTY
However, the user might keying in the following pattern :-
    SOICTEST OUT QTY
    SOIC OUT QTY
    SOIC TEST QUT
    and etc.
What is the best way to deal with ? Thanks.
    Rgds
    Lim

Close but no cigar. This would return a perfect 3:
"WREXHAM SOICAL CLUB SUCCESS ATTESTS TO STOUT'S VIRTUE IN QTY" SAYS CHAIRMAN
but it's not exactly a close match is it?
Pattern matching, especially fuzzy matching, requires us to be able to specify inclusions, exclusions and degree of deviation. For instance, any number of spaces normally wouldn't affect a match, neither might a single added letter - but a dozen additional letters may mean a mismatch.
I'm intrigued by the underlying need for this functionality. Is this a data cleansing exercise or a belated attempt at imposing data integrity? Or something else?
    Cheers, APC

    Hello,
recheck that the user has the UME.Spml_Write_Action - SPML is still used in release 7.3. The log still indicates that there is an authorization error.
    Thanks,

  • Only Content Admins are able to perform search

    Hi,
I created an index on a File System Repository and the indexing completed successfully. I have enabled W2KSecurityManager on the Repository. Only Content Admins are able to perform search.
When I conduct search it returns results (I am an Content Administrator), but when another user conducts the same search does not return any results. When I assign any user with content admin role he is able to perform search (with successful results).
It does not look like an permission issue. Everyone have access to the Windows Fileserver; also everyone has access to the index (I checked it in index permissions). Any idea where else the problem could be?
    Regards,
    Deepak

    Hi Umesh,
We had this same problem where only admins had access, that was because
content/system/user admin roles are set as system principals and bypass w2kSecurityManager
    functionality
Check if users without these privileges have read access (http://server:port/irj/go/km/navigation/folder)
if you get access denied error it's probably a problem with user mapping
check on log files (defaultTrace) for w2k related errors, you might find something like
No user mapping data for user <user_name> and system <system_name>#
    or similar entry
if that's the case check sap note 615479 and
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/54/39c53dba21f750e10000000a114084/content.htm

The answer is Yes, and you are correct about the best practice of a limit of 100GB,
although, document and record centers (e.g. non collaborative) can go much higher.
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262787(v=office.15).aspx#ContentDB
That being what it is, your sites will perform better if you find a topology that allows the content databases to be under 100GB each.  You can use Move-SPSite to accomplish that feat.
You'll want a separate instance for 2010 and a separate instance for 2013
and finally, put some quota's in place and then governance document\statement that informs users that 100 GB is the max for any given site collection that uses collaborative features (calendars, lists, workflows, etc.)
The simple path is explained on technet, go from 2007 to 2010 (you can inplace upgrade if you want) then go from 2010 to 2013, database detach and attach is only way.
please check the below link that explains more about the migration from share point 2007->2013.

  • Error in search moss2007

    Hi,
I have stacked into an error "The search application for 'SharedServices' on
server [SERVERNAME] is not provisioned. Confirm that the Windows SharePoint
Services Timer service and Windows SharePoint Services Administration service
are running on the server" when I tried to open search settings from my
SSP site. I have cleared the SharePoint cache from all the frontend and application server. But again I am getting this error. Can anybody please help me?
     Thanks,
    Nabhendu

There are many reasons can break SharePoint 2007 search. Such as permissions issue, alternate access mappings and etc. First, you can perform the following steps to fix the issue:
    1.       Restart osearch service:
    net stop osearch
    net start osearch
    2.       Try to unprovision the service first and then retry to provision the osearch service via the following command lines.
Stsadm –o provisionservice –action stop –servicetype osearch
Stsadm –o provisionservice –action start –servicetype osearch
    3.        If the unprovision/provision doesn’t work, then run the PSConfig wizard on the index server.
    4.        If it is successful, you will now be able to check the crawl status and also access all the pages in search administration and search settings page.
    5.        If psconfig fails, troubleshoot as per the error received in the log files.
Finally, please check the ULS and event logs to find more clues.

  • Error performing inpage operation

We were getting the following error using our Leopard server as a PDC when the windows users would try to log in: "Error performing inpage operation".
We tried the following advice from http://macosx.com/forums/1432514-post6.html :
    /etc/smb.conf:
    vfs objects = darwinacl, darwin_streams
; The darwin_streams module gives us named streams support.
    stream support = yes
    ea support = yes
    replace with (i.e. remove darwin_streams)
    vfs objects = darwinacl
; The darwin_streams module gives us named streams support.
    stream support = no
    ea support = no
This seems to have fixed our problem. He gives further explanation as to what the problem might be in his post.

    hey Guru933,
I would recommend that you use the TVSysUpdate. Anyway, are you still having that error ?
If you are, try uninstalling the Power Manager and reinstall it. And what is the version of TVSysUpdate that you have on your system and your Edge is it the Edge 13 or ?

  • Sharepoint 2013 search error - The search application 'Search Service Application 1' on server is not provisioned.Confirm that the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Timer service and Central Administration service are running on the server.

    Hi All,

    on the server.
and when i click on Crawl Log and content source
    it throws the below error
The search service is currently offline. Visit the Services on Server page in SharePoint Central Administration to verify whether
the service is enabled. This might also be because an indexer move is in progress
When i check the search status
Get-SPEnterpriseSearchServiceInstance, it shows all the components are online.
As of now search service application is online and search is working. But not sure why it throws the above error.
I have restarted timer service, search service in services.msc and cleared the sharepoint cache as well.
But no luck,This is happening in my prodcution environment.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  • Error: "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost."

    Hello,
I'm working a developing an OA page that will displays the contents of an Oracle table and allows the user to update records in a table as needed.
When I hit submit button to save the changes in the update page, the control goes back to main page (where all the table records are displayed). It displays the updated record with the new information. However when I hit "Go" button on the mainPG, I get the error "The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost. and the changes are not committed.
ANy suggestions on where I should look will be greatly appreciated.

  • Office 2013 with Service Pack 1 installation error about "search path"

I have an automated installation technique that has worked fine with Office 2010 Pro Plus (32-bit), incorporating the latest Service Pack into the network administrative installation point (under \updates), adding 10 foreign languages to the network administrative
installation point, creating a custom .msp with the OCT (that goes into \updates too), editing the config.xml files, and then running setup.exe from that network administrative installation point. This works on 32-bit Windows XP clients and on 32- and 64-bit
    Windows 7 clients.
For Office 2013 Pro Plus, I have built the network administrative installation point exactly the same way (original DVD files + languages + SP1 updates + config.xml updates), but the installation is failing with every type of client, all with
the same error message. The network administrative installation point is readable by the normal installing account, but I even get the same error when I login as me and initiate setup.exe manually, and I have all rights to this point.
Here's the critical point from a log file:
2014/03/11 11:53:49:691::[2372] DistributionPoint parsed.  The distribution point is now set to: \\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2013

I cannot find any references to this exact error anywhere on the Internet. Can anyone tell me what this means, and how I fix it?

As automated, the utility that runs setup.exe maps a drive letter to
\\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt using a kboxmap AD account, which has read access to the whole \KBOXalt tree. I used that same kboxmap AD account manually to simulate what the utility does, and hit the same problem. But here's what's
    odd: right next to that
    \\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2013 directory is an
\\archive.ads.college.edu\archive\KBOXalt\Office2010 directory, both created the same way, and the Office 2010 installation has always worked perfectly using the kboxmap AD account. I don't understand why Office 2013 is only working for an account with
read/write access, where Office 2010 worked fine for an account with only read access. Especially when the Office 2013 resource kit documentation clearly states that the account running the installation should only have read access, nothing more. (All this
KBOX stuff comes from the fact that our deployment environment is a Dell KACE KBOX 1000. However, that plays no part in the problem: ignoring the KBOX 1000, I can manually recreate the problem every time.)

  • Why spotlight is not able to perform searches on iCal events older than 365 days?

why spotlight is not able to perform searches on iCal events older than 365 days? I really do not understand why if iCal can sync all events, even the very old, the spotlight will not be able to search on events older than 365 days; why? is absurd; let's say I want to search for a person contained in an old appointment: iCal in your Mac with a few key words, I find it right away, but this important feature on the iPhone is locked; we have in our pockets phones are very sophisticated, but it does not manage to make things really trivial.

I've checked my sim card, I've made sure it is in properly, I've turned it off and on. nothing is working
what is wrong with my iPhone why is it not working, and how do I fix it.
Please someone give me some answers.
P.S. I have only had this phone for just over a year.

It sounds like an O2 problem, you'd have to get in contact with them on 0800 977 7337
Have you tried the SIM card in another phone?
