Errors In Automatic payment program

Hi ,
   I am undergoing training in SAP FI CO. I am presently dealing with the               automatic payment program in Accounts Payable.
I had errors when I was running the proposal item in the transaction code F110 like this:
   1.No payment possible because items with a debit balance still exist, see job log. And the error occurred as long as I put the dates after 01/27/2007 and before 01/31/2007 and when i put the date as 01/31/2007 the error did not occur.
   2. The second time when I was practising the same thing with different company  code, the error came up as - the payment method is not defined( and the payment method that I assigned was Check).
   Kindly let me know what were the mistakes I have done.

Hi,
If the error is that there is no valid payment method defined in the exception list of proposal run, please check the following:-
a. In FBZP for Payment Methods in Country, for the country and the payment method check the required master data specifications tab (OBVCU). For example Street, PO Box or Bank Details may be checked. Make sure that this data is filled in the Address Tab and Bank Details Tab of the Vendor Master Record.
b. Ensure that Payment method is defined in the Vendor Master Record under the Payment Transactions tab.
c. Ensure that the line items have payment methold defined.

  • Payment Proposal Error in Automatic Payment Program

    While I am running the Automatic Payment Program Run after passing on the  Parameters, I have created the Payment Proposal.
    When I am trying the edit the payment prosal  to block payment of some of the invoice line items, system is throwling a red signal error (Payment/Exception). I am not able to edit the payment proposal and proceed further.

    i am usually do payment in other currency through automatic  payment program, today it is the first time i got an error that
    (error in creating payment document , read job log)
    i read job log, there is no valuable information to solve that prob,
    how can i solve it , i checked everything and every thing is fine,

  • Error in Automatic Payment Program : ABAP/4 processor : GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED

    Hi SAP gurus,
    I'm currently implementing automatic payment using DME to generate a text file, in a format that is specified by HSBC.
    I read some articles about this topic and I have done these steps:
    I created DME Format Tree (just a demo format tree).
    I created a new Payment Media Format
    Set up Payment Method and Assigned Payment Media Format.
    But finally it didn't work.
    After I run F110, the posting was okay but no Data Media File was created. The end of Job Log Entry look like below:
    "Step 002 started (program SAPFPAYM_SCHEDULE, variant &0000000001977, user ID DANGNH)
    ABAP/4 processor : GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED
    Job cancelled"
    I don't understand why it won't work. Does anyone here have any suggestion for this problem.

    I have followed your suggestion but It didn't work. I used transaction SE38 to run RGZZGLUX as yousuggested.
    I used ST12 to analyse runtime errors and the analysis information look like below:
    Short text
          Field symbol has not yet been assigned
    What happend?
          Error in the ABAP Application Program.
          The current ABAP program "SAPLDMEE2_ABA" had to be terminated because it has come across a statement
          that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    Error Analysis
          You attempted to access an unassigned field symbol (Data Segment 8)
    Any suggestion?

    There could be several reasons why this error is encountered.  Check the following thread.

    Check your proposal log to determine why the items are not picked up.  May be there are no items to be picked up by the program basing on your selection criteria.  Another possibility is that the items are locked in another payment run.  You may need to delete those proposals (that didn't go thru all the way) and retry.

  • Few errors observed : Automatic Payment Program (APP)

    Dear Experts,
    In the APP, i m observing a few errors :
    1.  in proposal log, there are certain exception, the message displayed for that is "Balancing field "Business Area" in line item 002 not filled"
    2.  A few cases, where the i m able to clear invoices thru APP, but cannot find a cheque assigned nor can find any cheque printed thru the assigned form
    3.  When i click on the print option on F110 screen after payment run, there displays a message "Print job F110-20100206-32610-X1 has been scheduled", where to execute this??
    4.  In the variant, which is the last tab (Printout / data medium) of the F110, i m selecting a particular House Bank, so that a payment could be made by that House Bank only, but still i m observing a few invoice got cleared thru a House Bank other than the selected one.
    Help help in above issue.

    The pointwise response is as below:
    1. BA seems to be mandatory. Check for the log to find out what is combination of invoices being paid out and also their BA.
    2. Is this happening on only few of the cases or all ? If it is only few then please provide some more detailed screenshot. One of the possibility of non assignment could be your method of assigning the house bank in the print out as referred to in your query # 4.
    3. Use the tcode SM35 to find out the job and SP01to print the same.
    4. Payments are made by the House bank assigned either to the vendor master or the transaction. In fact this could be one of the reasons that not all of your payments have been assigned the check #.

    Hi Folks,
    I am running Automatic Payment Program on F110. I have completed all the procedure in FBZP.
    The Error is
    Company codes ZZZ1/ZZZ1 do not appear in proposal 07/30/2008 RUN01; correct
    Its says,
    No data exists for the specified paying company code ZZZ1 and the specified sending company code ZZZ1 in payment proposal 07/30/2008 RUN01.
    It will be helpful, if someone can post the remedy.

    The dates are not falling in the run date. So please change the dates in the Parameters tab in F110 i.e Posting Dates and Doc. Posted upto.

    could you please check carefully the exception list and the  payment/proposal log in F110, in which you can find the reason why it included in the "exception list".                                         
    Did you activate the Additional Log? what does the log say?                                                                               
    You should analyze the proposal log in detail in this case. Also  could you please ensure that this vendor is not blocked for payment and  you have not entered the Payment block in the affected documents.

    I solved that problem and getting below error:
    "Customer/vendor does not have suitable bank details for pmnt method C"
    Message no. FZ019
    Diagnosis
    Either no bank details have been entered in the customer/vendor master record or the bank details cannot be used for the payment method entered.
    For example, a payment method can require that a collection authorization exists or that the customer's/vendor's bank be in its home country.
    System response
    The payment method entered is not accepted.
    Procedure
    If the customer/vendor master record is maintained incompletely, complete the bank details.
    But i maintained bank data in master record and assigned payment method to that bank

  • Error while prinitng remittance advices from Automatic payment program

    Hello all,
    I am trying to print remittance advices from the automatic payment program but I get an error log stating "F0282 - Payment method(s) are not allowed for this program". Has anyone got this kind of error before. I am actually stuck in this error. I have tried changing the variant used for payment run but seem to be stuck up with the same problem.
    If anyone has encountered this problem, please suggest resolution.

    Please check the documentation for program RFFOAVIS_FPAYM which will be used for the payment medium workbench. The following reports are available
    Printout files are created per company code and house bank. These can either be printed via the print manager or immediately. Depending on the parameter you select, you can print out one or more of the following:
    Payment advice notes (if the information cannot be sent via EDI)
    Payment summary
    Error log

  • Payment not  clearing for Vendor through Automatic Payment Program

    Hi
    I had setup automatic payment program for my vendor to take $ from my GL account. When I run the payment program, it ran without any error, however, the vendor account was not cleared. The balance in GL and Vendor account remains the original amounts.
    The log shows the following.
    Job started
    Step 001 started ( program SAPF110S, variant &0000000001081, user ID XXXXXXX)
    Log for payment run for payment on 01/12/2008, identification XXXX
    End of log
    Job finished
    Can anyone help ?

    I have not proposed a solution. Now go to F110 and go to the table additional tab and press proposal log button on the lower right hand side. this will give a detailed log. Either analyse this error set right error or send the error log for analysis.
    First run the proposal run and if it is successful, run the payment run and then to print run.
    It should be run in the above sequence.

  • F110 Automatic Payment program

    Hi ,
    We have an issue in th Automatic payment program F110.
    We have a few vendor invoices ( 1500 euros )  for a vendor X. There is also a credit memo for that vendor (100 Euros ). When we run F110  the credit memo is going to the Exception list with an error message "001 No pymt possible because items with a debit bal.still exist "; and the invoices for 1500 euros had been paid.
    Please let us know why the payment program could not net off the Credit memo against the invoices making into a payment of 1400 Euros only  to the vendor.

    Hi,
    You will first have to CLEAR the credit memo for that vendor (100 Euros) against the invoice raised and then run the payment run for the balance credit amount. Payment run will not execute if it finds any debit balance as open item for the vendor.

    I have 50 Company codes(Different countries) and one paying company code(US). Now i want to set up FBZP config. .. what should i do to enable the inter-country/inter-company payments using F110(Automatic Payment Program).

    In step 1 of FBZP, i.e. "All company code", when i try to enter a "New Entry", and when i try to set paying company code(which is in US) for other company codes that are outside US, i get the following error.
    "Company code <paying company code> is not permitted as the paying company code
    Message no. F3063
    Diagnosis
    The paying company code and the company code on whose behalf the payment is being made must be in the same country, have the same local currency, and display the same currencies managed in parallel. The setting regarding extended withholding tax functions (active or not active) must also be identical for both company codes.
    System Response
    The entry is not accepted since these requirements are not met.
    Procedure
    Correct your entry.

    Mainly you should check following points
    1.if you run APP all payment documents are in over due
    2.check payment block
    3.check minumum and maximum amounts for incomming and out going payments
    4.check all dates
    5.check nest due date
    6.check all customization steps

  • Run date problem in F110 - automatic payment program

    Hi.
    I am trying to run the automatic payment program in F110. I am facing the problem with the run date in this transaction. System is not giving me any error if i give the run date as today's date or future date.
    But in run date if i give previous date system is not executing the automatic payment program.
    Eg: Inovice posted on 01.01.2012. It becomes due on 01.01.2012. I gave run date as today's date 04.01.2012 or future date the system is executing correctly picking all invoices. But if i give the run date as previous to the current date i.e., 02.01.2012 or 03.01.2012 then system is not executing this transaction.
    This problem is coming for all company codes. So if there is any setting for restricting run date request you to help me in this regard where can i do such setting.

    Hi.
    My problem is solved.
    Actually client is entering the documents with posting date for earlier months whereas he has entered the documents this month.
    Therefore system is not picking the invoices in F110 - automatic payment program.
    Actually the run date entered is getting copied to the parameters entered i.e., posting date and documents entered upto date.
    Documents are entered in the system this month with posting dates of previous months. Therefore if i give the run date as this month date the run date is getting copied to doc entered upto date in the parameters tab as this month date. So only system is not picking invoices since invoices are entered in the system this month only.
    Now we changed the date for doc entered upto with previous month date and system is picking the invoices.
