ESS payslip error.

Dear Expert,
We are using EP 7 with java web dynpro. As for the malaysia and singapore payslip, we are able to view using the dynpro provide by the standard business package. However when it comes to the indonesia payslip, it is showing empty figure in the payslip and month 0000xxx. When i click on the show all payslip, the system is giving me the following error which is Internal error in Salary Statement service: PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT 10000561 00002. Anyone have idea?

Hi Brian,
PYXX_READ_PAYROLL_RESULT is a function module to display the payslip. Looks like some customization is not in place with respect to the Payroll Area.
Does this happen with all the personnel numbers? I would suggest you to have your HR team look into customizations.

Please check the user language setting in SU01. If no language is defined, the portal will use the browser to set the portal language. The payslip language is defined in feature HRFOR and must match the employee's molga. If the language defined for the employee's payslip is different from the user's, a dump will occur. Try changing the user's language setting.

ESS Payslip : Error when creating a form

Hi Experts,
Please help me on this issue.
The payslip is not getting generated in QA portal. I have checked everything, feature, report variant. The payslip is getting generated from the back end.
But I have not checked from PZ11_PDF, becz of authorisation issue.
Can anyone guess what could be the problem?

Did you have to configure anything else in the img like the badi:define settings or the provide salary statement as pdf.   We are past the form doe'n't exist, but we are getting a similiar message.

How and Where to change ESS payslip property as READ only Mode

Hi,
We are SAP ECC5.0 and using EP6 for ESS payslip. We have a problem
launching ESS payslip for those employees who have Acrobat Editor and
Reader installed. One can actually change the payslip information via
Acrobat Editor when click onto PRINT button.
However, for those without Acrobat Editor installed in the PC, we do
not have such problem. Please advise how to resolve this.
Was told to change ESS payslip property as READ only Mode. Unable to find this in the configuration setting.

1. call the ess payslip application using a URL
2. and pass PERNR as parameter to this URL so that the salary slip displayed is for that particular PERNR.
i am able to get the payslip application through URL.
Now how to acheive point no. 2 ?

ESS / MSS Error..

Hi All,
I have created all JCO destinations and when i test them , the result is successful
But once i click on ess/mss tab in portals, i get the error..
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to resolve JCO destination name 'SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData' in the SLD. No such JCO destination is defined in the SLD.
But i have maintained SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData in the SLD.. Actually i have two SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData services one is active and another is inactive..
For SAP_R3_HumanResources -- i have used "Logon Ticket" and for SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData -- used userid & pwd.
Actually i have to do UserMapping as my portal userid and R/3 userid are different.. Then in this case am i creating JCO destinations correctly.. If not how to do..
Please throw some light into this problem by your valuable suggestions.

ESS Payslip is not swoinf in portal

I have a problem with ESS - Payslip. Problem has started with after deleting a variant in R/3 by some one. Now if I input the correct data and run the same, payslip is coming fine in R/3. But it is not showing correctly in Portal. Is there any variant configuration can be done at Portal? Also there were no changes for the past 5 months in Portal side. However we have restored the variant with different name.
Can some one provide sol...?

ESS - CL_PT_ARQ_BLOP_ADAPTER error

I am facing problem when sending leave in ESS, the error is as follows:
Exception/error 262144 triggered in method MAINTAIN_TIMEDATA, class CL_PT_ARQ_BLOP_ADAPTER.
This is happening in only one user not everyone. What could be the reason for this?

I am facing the same issue and I think this is a Authorization issue only.
I had assigned all the SAP standard ESS roles to my users but still facing the same issue.
Please help me regarding this.. Please let me knw which Authorization object you had used to solve this issue.

Payslip - Error when creating the form

Hi,
I have an error with the Paylsip iview in ESS WebDP version backed by ECC5. I get 'Critical Error' in the iview and the following stack trace in the defaultTrace.trc.
Not really sure even where to start looking. Any help greatly appreciated.

Fixed it. We were missing the Variant backing the payslip which hadn't been transported.

Data not getting populated in ESS Payslip in portal

Hi All
I am tryig to display Payslip in Portal. Have done all the necessary configuration in Benefits and payments->Salary statement->HRFOR/ EDTIN features.
Correct Payslip form is visible but data is not getting populated in the payslip.
Have tested the Payslip in PC00_M40_CEDT transaction with the variant i have set for HRFOR/EDTIN features and Payslip data is displayed correctly.
Have checked for PZ11_PDF transaction but i get a message saying it cannot be accessed through Easy access.
Can anyone pls let me know what might be the reason for data not getting populated in Payslip in Portal?
what is role of PZ11_PDF transaction in Payslip display in Portal?

Asha,
Maintain Feature EDPDF which determines the SMARTFORM being used to make the payslip available for employees. This is more of a HR related issue and I believe if you post this in the ESS or HR Forum you would be able to resolve this issue.

WebSphere Integration with ESS/MSS Error

Hi All,
We are trying to setup a scenario where we embed the SAP Portal within WebSphere portlets. Plan is that we would have WebSphere link to the ESS HomePage. We have setup a URL alias in the web-inf with nested_window=1. The websphere guys are using the the WebSphere clipper to create the portlets but this is giving us javascript errors (e.g. Access Denied, etc). This means when we click on any of the ESS framework links e.g. Personal Data the webdynpro spinner comes up and nothing happens i.e. they screen does not change.
Any thoughts on what might be the issue? Is the Clipper the best tool to use?

Error is due to mis match of patches.
Check with SAP_HR and EA_HR patches. Try to maintaine the patches to 26 patch. By this u can resolve the issues.
That means Patches from Java side and Backend side need to be maintained at there same levels.

ESS - Deployment Error Webdynpro for Java

Hi All
To enhance the functionality of CatsApproval (sap.com/msscatapproval), We have created a custom DC and copied the source code from the above DC. After we enhanced the functionality in new DC, we have undeployed the old DC to avoid name clash and deployed the new DC (say xxx_msscatapproval).
We are getting below error during runtime.
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to create deployable object 'sap.com/msscatapproval' since it is not a Web Dynpro object.
We have found ''sap.com/msscatapproval' text have hard coded in some of the component and we have replaced with the new DC name but Still we r getting error.
Any help on this is highly appreciated.

This is because you have to give end user permissions for the portal user ot access the objects.This is an issue with permission.
