Ever since upgrading the other day, there is an obnoxious flowery graphic behind my tool bar and taking up the whole header portion of my browser. How do I get rid of it?
There is a flowery, very colorful background on the heading portion of my browser behind my toolbars ever since I upgraded. It makes the tabs very hard to read and everything else too. How do I get rid of it? I certainly did NOT pick it out or change the appearance. When I go to "appearance" there is not an option to change this. It just changes everything below the tabs.

Thank you! Thank you! I had chosen the themed header, which I liked very much, but it was too busy and I got frustrated with not being able to see my links. But when I tried to delete it I could ''not figure out'' how. I love the idea, but need to see my links.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Do you have a Menu Bar with File-Edit-View etc?
If not press the alt key to make it appear.
From the Menu Bar select View-Toolbars and turn the missing toolbars back on.
Write and Address Book are on the Mail Toolbar.
FYI: The alt key or F10 will make a missing toolbar appear in most applications. -

suddenly there is a ghost page { 2 pages stacked, i see top of both} one page has "firefox" in top left corner. also a tab called "new tab" has taken over where the present page is usually listed. how do i get rid of both, or do i have to start useing I-net explorer to get rid of it?
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Since I downloaded latest version of iTunes on my Windows 7 PC, most pictures and documents have blue boxes covering a big portion of the thumbnail images. I hate it, how do I get rid of them?

I tried to manually clear my Time Machine back up drive (a La Cie) of some of the older backups. But now the Trash is filled with files (over 130,000) and it doesn't seem to want to trash them - it's taking forever!! how do I get rid of them now in a quicker way?

Where did this box come from? I can find no reference to it anywhere in the system preferences. Above all, how do I get rid of it?

The other day I did a software update on my iPad 2 in order to complete the download.
When the download completed I had to sign back into iCloud then I got an error 403 message that told me I can't sign in anymore accounts. Can someone please help me resolve this frustrating issue?
I suspect you were trying to create a new icloud account and ran into the max allowed per device. Go to Settings>iCloud; if this is the wrong icloud account your device is signed into, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account. Then sign in using your ID.

One of my notes has disappeared from my list of notes in notes app since I upgraded. Is thee any way of recovering this? It wasn't done through the iCloud email so it's not saved in there. Is was in my Yahoo account

I cannot remove my Facebook contacts. Phone list transferred but added all of my FB friends and I don't want them on there. When I try to delete them it won't let me. How do I fix this please?

I am having trouble with an ITunes I'd request to log in that is not my ITunes ID. E request pops up all the time. It stops the app or net site every time. Like I said it is not my ID. How can I stop or delete this ID?
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. What ID is in the settings. Tap on that ID to change it. Sign Out. Sign in with your own ID. After you sign out with the incorrect ID, restart the iPad before you sign into your correct account.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go to Settings>Store and sign in. -
I have a new computer - it has windows 7 and I have your latest mozilla firefox running. about:home is the opening URL and I know this is not good. But when I looked for the tab to find Internet Options(like I had on my last computer) I can't find it anywhere! I used to use that to change my homepage - that got rid of the about:home before. So now, what should I do? Where is the Internet Options tab? I did try to use the control panel to switch my homepage, but it only switched my Internet Explorer browser homepage, even though it is not my default browser. Thank you.

The other day I got a update for ios7. Tried to download and it said I didn't have enough GB. So I saw I could purchase memory for $40. After purchase I noticed that it only pertain to the iCloud . Didn't do me any good. So I would like to cancel my recent purchase for memory ($40). I was not smart enough to know that the iCloud memory upgrade didn't help for my recent update to ios7
