Exception does'nt work

Your exception-handler will only catch exceptions that occur when your code is running. However, the error you are getting occurs during the compilation of your code. Your code needs to be compiled before it can actually run.
So you must fix the error, and then you can run the code.
Also, be very wary of "when others then"-clauses. Usually they "hide" errors and make code very hard to debug...
