Exceptional analysis

I created exceptional analysis like when a material gets rejected more than twice, should trigger a mail to QA manager about the rejection.
Also I scheduled that exception in such a way that job should run for every 5 minutes.
My concern is when a material gets rejected for more then twice, mail is triggering for every 5 minutes and filling up inbox.
My requirement is like only once a mail should trigger automaticcally, when the material gets rejected more than twice.
Please advice me some solution....

The exception analysis was generally designed to look at things over a larger period of time then what you are looking at.
It is looking more at trends.  I.e. the standard structure S069 (material) has "month" as a key characteristic and you would set up the exception to email when you had say.. 5 rejeted lots for a given material in the month.  And you would run this nightly or on the first of each month.
You are looking for almost real time feedback; which the exception analysis wasn't truly designed to do.
I would suggest you look at the follow-up actions that you can add to a UD code.  There is already an example follow-up action that SAP provides that sends an email to the user.  This is set up on any 'Reject' UD codes so that users can get an email whenever a usage decision is rejected.
I suggest you use this and modify the folow-up action to send the email only when the previous UD for the material was also a reject. That way you can put this follow-up action only on the reject UD codes.  This  should be pretty simple for an ABAP'er to modify and do.

  • E2E Exception Analysis

    Hi All,
I have configured SMD (Solution Manager Diagnostics) on SM 4.0 SP12 and I also have setup IntroScope agent and EP agent succesfully.
When trying to run the program E2E Exception Analysis I get the next message:
"This application is not yet configured. Please refer to the E2E post-installation steps". Unfortunately I cannot find any documentation about these post installation steps.
Can you please help me out?
    Regards,
    Koen

    Hi Koen,
E2E functionalities are very difficult to setup manualy.
In SPS12, you should order a E2E Diagnotics starter pack.
General availability of E2E tools is SPS13 (automatic setup).
    Regards,

  • Issue with Analysis Connection

Hi to all! I have installed BoBj 4.1 edge edition.
When I try to open OLAP connection in CMC I receive the following error:
Analysis, edition for OLAP encountered an unexpected exception at 18:14 that has caused it to close.
The following reasons may have caused the unexpected exception:
Analysis, edition for OLAP has timed out. Your workspace may have been automatically saved to your Favorites folder as an "autosave" file.
A fatal exception has occurred. Log on again to Analysis, edition for OLAP.
If you repeatedly see this error, contact your administrator.
Have anyone experience the same problem? All BI platform servers are running properly.

    Hi,
    please clarify this a bit.
Does this error occur when you try to modify an exisiting OLAP connection in the CMC or does this happen when you try to open an Analysis for OLAP Workspace?!
If the second one please check

Metropolis software was shut down in 2009 and there is no further support or development for the products.  Since their shutdown is prior to win 8 it cannot be compatible.  Read about it here http://www.giantbomb.com/metropolis-software-house/3010-107/
The only thing I can suggest for you is to try re-installing the game in compatibility mode.
To install in compatibility mode do the following:
    Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows?SignedIn=1
(works in vista, win 7, win 8, and win 10)

  • Windows 8 crashes when trying to connect to a Remote Desktop or a VPN

    Hello,
When trying to perform a connection to a remote desktop or a VPN the application crashes (either MSTSC.exe or Explorer.exe). I've noticed this happens when credentials are about to be asked (same happens when trying to access a restricted folder on a network
    machine).
    Useful PC specs:
    - i7 3770k, 16GB Ram, GTX460 (2x-SLI) (Intel HD 4000 on board)
    > All latest drivers and Windows updates installed.
    > Ran Memory Diagnostic. No errors.

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to resolve this?

Further proof it's something with credentials/authentication. I found a valid workaround, but I think this one's on Microsoft to actually fix.
I opened up Remote Desktop Connection, put in my username and clicked the Save Credentials box. Then I edited all the other settings. Saved the RDP connection to my desktop. Then I edited it with notepad, and added the password value. I found a blog that
provides a program that'll hash the password for you. I used it so I can say its safe:
    http://www.remkoweijnen.nl/blog/2007/10/18/how-rdp-passwords-are-encrypted/
I put the hashed password in, saved the file. Then used it to connect and it worked. So by bypassing RDP having to ask for credentials, it didn't crash since it doesn't ask. Kind of inconvenient if you have many computers you have to connect in to. But for
those in a bind this will work for you.
This one worked for me, no update or installation of software before it broke, but had a "wife-poweroutage" (cable taken out) I'm just not in the mood to reinstall for this. But the above fixed it for me. Thank you!

Please check, whether the managed system is well prepared.
It requires add-ons ST-PI and ST-A/PI, data in workload statistics ST03N.
Run RTCCTOOL via SE38 and check the results.

  • App crash: explorer.exe faulting module: fundisc

    Hello.
I've been having issues with 4 computers now. All of them Windows 7 Professional 32 bits.
The error they're having is the same on each PC: explorer.exe fails and restarts after clicking Ok to the dialog.
    Level: Error
    Source: Application Error
    Event ID: 1000
Faulting application: explorer.exe, version: 6.1.7601.175xx, time stamp: <changes>
faulting module: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
    exception code : 0xc0000005
    fault offset: <changes>
    process id: <changes>
    application start time: <changes>
The oldest issue is november 6th (there's not a single instance of the error before that date); since then the issue is happening at least once a day but more like 5-10 times a day.
I ran Windbg and for almost all errors it point to fundisc.dll as the culprit.

There's another similar error but points to "NetworkItemFactory" module instead of "fundisc", but i'm not sure they're related yet.
    I already:
Ran viruschecks and spywarescans and the computers are clean.
clean booted and the issue persists.
sfc'd and no files were corrupt.
They all are HP Compaq 8000 series; besides that, the only other thing i can think of that could be common between those particular machines is that not all of them may had been wiped out when bought and the problems came from the bloatware and some update.
The only updates they had installed were security and critical updates via WSUS.
I'm starting to worry and i'm out of ideas.
    Any help will be appreciated.

  • Various Windows 7 issues

Hi, I have various problems on my system (W7 HOME 64-BIT), one of which is random explorer craches (which is the most frustrating). Others issues are : some exe won't run any more when I double-clic on them, others ones create an 'Access violation'' message..
I performed a sfc /scannow command and Windows found corrupted files but was unable to repair them. I tried in safe mode too with same results.
I tried to analyse some dmp files via the Windows debugging tools but i'm not sure if it was correctly executed since some symbol files weren't found. I also tried to update my drivers as suggested on forums (24 of them are outdated) but after a reboot,
i got a blue screen so had to perform a system restore. Now my system is back but with the same problems.
I was about to try the verifier command (Driver Verifier Manager) but had to cancel when I read it can cause many crashes to the system. I would take any advices as i'm completly clueless at the moment.
Here's the dump analysis about explorer :

Both of these were related to memory corruption.  We both need the DMP files and need you to run driver verifier to find the underlying issue.
Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here
If you have any questions about the procedure please ask
These crashes were related to memory corruption (probably caused by a driver).
Please run these tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.
If you are overclocking (pushing the components beyond their design) you should revert to default at least until the crashing is solved. If you don't
know what it is you probably are not overclocking.
Since it is more likely to be a driver please run verifier first.
1-Driver verifier (for complete directions see our wiki here)
If verifier does not find the issue we can move on to this.
2-Memtest. (You can read more about running memtest here)
If you cannot boot after enabling verifier reboot into safe mode
    In Vista & win & (F8)
    In win 8 http://www.howtogeek.com/107511/how-to-boot-into-safe-mode-on-windows-8-the-easy-way/
