F-53 status in SRM

Dear SRM GURUS,
we are following a classic scenarios on SRM version 4.0 where in we create a shopping cart in SRM and a purchase Req is created in backend and based on that we create a Purchase Order and do a Goods receipts and Invoice Booking in MIRO in R3.
When we check the status of shopping cart we are able to view all in SRM check status for shopping cart.
Now my requiremnt is that when after MIRO in R/3 we run F-53 for payment to vendor.
Whether this can be displayed in the shopping cart check status that as to when actual payement was made to the vendor through F-53.
regards,
Disha

Hi Disha,
You can run the program BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS in SRM. This should update the invoice status to "paid". But i am not sure it will update the shopping cart history.

  • Invoice Payment status in SRM Browser

    Dear SRMers,
    System Information: SRM 4.0, R/3 4.6 c
We have a situation where users want to see the invoice payment status in the SRM browser. We have not implemented the Invoice module in SRM and invoices are posted and updated in R/3.
Please suggest what is the best way to accomplish displaying the invoice payment status in SRM browser preferrably in the shopping cart header or in the follow on documents area with less custom work ? Any ideas are welcome.
Points will be rewarded for answers
    Thanks in advance,
    Bob.

    Hi,
As explained in one of my previous thread, running the report "BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS" does not update the status in SRM .So for this there will be a lot of std modifictaions required to update the status in the SRM browser(SC history/follow on docs) i.e. ITS template as well as the std includes.

    Hi Suresh,
As  you said ,the report does  synchronises the INV status in both the systems,But For all the follow  on docs ,we are  not getting any status(in the Status Column) display in the SC History.I mean only for SC,we  get the status as "Folow-on Document created".

  • Invoice status in SRM -- Error in process

    Hi,
I am on SRM6.0 (Extended Classic Scenario) with backend ECC6.0. I have a invoice posted in SRM and went into error while transferring to backend. We reviewed the reason of backend error (it was because of MM period close) and reprocess the IDOC in backend after allowing posting in previous period. IDOC got processed and we can see the backend document link in SRM Invoice now but the status of the invoice is still "Error in process".
I checked program "BBP_GET_STATUS_2" and "CLEAN_REQREQ_UP" is setup correctly and running sucessful in SRM. Appreciate any help to resolve this issue.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi All,
Any updates. Today I have another invoice where the IDOC got posted in backend sucesfully but system still shows invoice status as "Approved" whereas it should be "posted in backend".
    Thanks, Sachin

    HEADER     I1015          Awaiting Approval
    HEADER     I1021          Created

    HEADER     I1043          Ordered
    and workflow status:
    Workflow Item:
    Workitem-ID        000041330725
    Task               WS14000145
Text               BAdI approval for Purchase order no. 2001013185, GUID 94E89401F7EF8A4EA8898F4A67A288F5

Now what should i do to complete the workflow. Is there any transaction or function module or any table with which i can complete the workflow??
    Thanks in advance,
    Sarnava.

    Hi Sarnava,
Is your PO waiting for approval or is it struck in awaiting approval status.
Check SM58 transaction to see if there is any failures on the day of PO creation.
If there is no failure and you want to complete the PO manually go to transaction SWIA and enter the header work item id and then click on complete manually. This will complete the workflow.

  • Material Not getting replicated inspite of Done status in SRM

    Hi
I am facing issues with regards to the material replication. I have made the necessary middleware settings in both R/3 and SRM side. Also I have replicated the objects DNL_CUST_BASIS3, DNL_CUST_PROD0, DNL_CUST_PROD1 and DNL_CUST_SRVMAS (in that order) successfully. However when I try to replicate the materials (no filter settings maintained) none of the materials gets replicated. The queue in R/3 and SRM doesn't show a stuck entry anywhere. In R3AM1 also the status
is green with Done status. Sometimes 0 block gets picked up and sometimes 3.
However when I go and check the materials in COMMPR01, I do not see any materials been replicated. There are no other logs present anywhere.
Can someone kindly help me out in understanding the problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Manoj

    Hello Ashutosh
I had already checked the status in SMW01 and it shows "Confirmed (fully processed)".
Also no queues were stuck anywhere.
I also followed the instrauctions as explained in the blog link given by you.

  • Shopping Cart Status in SRM

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirment which I need to disable print Icon on the status screen of the shopping cart.
Can anybody please let me know how to achive this requirement.
    Thanks,
    Arun K Singarapu

    Hi Robert,
Have the start conditions for the workflow changed as a result of the support packs?  It may be that you have to change the triggering event to reflect the new situation.  I would check SWEL to see what event is actually published and compare to that which the workflow is using.

  • Wrong status for PO in SRM Portal

    Expert's,
I'm trying to update a status in SRM 5 portal for a  purchase order. The main problem was that the status was " error in process" because the PO was not tranfered to the backend system. Manually, using BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC the PO was transfered to the backend and the status in BBP_PD is now correct. The problem is that in SRM portal the status continues with "error in process".
I tryed to use report BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQ_REQ_UP but with no sucess. Do you have any idea how to update this status to "ordered" ?
    Best regards,
    Mário.

    Hi Mario
Is PO message created and sent it to vendor or not?
what is the other error in rz20or application monitor for this PO ?
do you have still entry in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB ?
    ANY ENTRY IN SM58 /SLG1 ?
always we need to analyse the PO error and resolve the data proplem and we need to push them .
you shuld not forcely push without correcting any propblem by FM weapon.

  • SRM contract Status change

    Hi ,
Can any one help me out to change the status of a contract.
I was contracted a contract  using ppb_pd_ctr_create. I want to change the status of the contract to close or delete.. is there any function module available to do the same?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Magesh basavaraj.

what is the behaviour of contracts in SRM in general.
Q1.- I create a GOA document in SRM, it is distribute to backend system (R/3). In this moment, which is the status of GOA in SRM?
    A1 :-RELEASED
2.- Is necessary to activate workflow process to release GOA automatically and then distribute to backend?
A2:- Upon business requirement. Yes every business need approval since BUYERS decision are not final
Q2aWhen the contract is on backend system and I change some parameters in the backend, is there some process to update the status or the parameters in GOA document in SRM? Is there some communication between the systems in this moment?
A2A :- No . you should not change any value in ME32K . no business allows this. you must speak to basis and pull everyone access to edit Purchasing contract. All edit/ massage / change happen only in GOA . evry changes in GOA versions will be created and distributed to backend sytem every time.
3.- I want to activate a non standard workflow process in backend system (R/3) for contracts distributed. How can I do that when backend contract is released then GOA contract in SRM change the status?
you can do mostly busineess needs approval on GOA approval.
RELEASED -status in SRM for good distributed GOA.

  • SRM-SUS additional status

    Hello experts,
is it possible to add an additional status in SRM-SUS with same behavior like status "in Process"? The PO in SUS must be editable.
    Thanks in advance,
    Björn

    Hi,
It is not possible to add additional custom status ...
even if you were able to add --> it will be very difficult to control that as status update happens at many places

  • Complete Status of Purchase Order

    HI SRM Gurus,
For SRM 7.0  system, for purchase Order  what is the signifance of "Transaction Completed"  status ?
I have completed one purchase Order which has open item.
At header level it sets "Transaction Completed" status in SRM PO. but neither it set delete indicator nor delivery complete indicator of open PO items . Hence i wonder what is the signifiance of complete functionality of PO in SRM.
Can you please through light on this topic ?
    Regards,
    Kalandi

    Checks (SRM-SUS)
Before SAP SRM SUS documents are archived, they are processed by a check program to determine if they qualify for archiving. This validation procedure prevents documents that still require processing, erroneous documents, and current documents from being archived and subsequently deleted from the database.
The residence time is a general criterion used to determine when SUS documents are archived. Each document must remain in the system for a certain period of time (the retention period) after it was last changed before it can be archived.
For more information about setting retention periods, see the Supplier Relationship Management Implementation Guide (IMG):  Supplier Relationship Management  Supplier Self-Services  Cross-Application Basic Settings  Archiving of Documents  Define Residence Times for Documents .
    Note
Only SUS documents from completed business processes are considered for archiving. Before you can archive documents, you need to complete the business process to which they belong.
    End of the note.
During the check process, the system also checks the relevant follow-on documents. If these documents have been created and completed, the relevant business transactions are assumed to have been completed. In particular, if a SUS purchase order can be archived, then so can the relevant follow-on documents.
*The status Transaction Completed is only applicable to SUS purchase orders and indicates that the document flow has been completed.* This means that all necessary documents in the document flow have been created and that, in the SUS EBP scenario, the confirmations and invoices pertaining to the purchase order have also been approved.
As well as the follow-on documents, the ordered quantity (or the quantity confirmed by the supplier if a purchase order response was requested) and the quantity specified in the follow-on documents must be considered. A purchase order can have one or more follow-on documents for each document type. If the total amount of item values of the follow-on documents does not match the total order value, the process step is not complete. In this case the system does not apply the status Transaction Completed to the original SUS purchase order.
An exception to this process is when a final delivery indicator has been set for an advanced shipping notification or for the invoice. Only the purchaser can set this indicator, which is used to show that no further delivery or invoice is expected and that this particular process step is completed. This information is only available on the purchaser's side in the purchasing system.
    Example
A SUS purchase order has one or more advanced shipping notifications (ASN). If the total quantity specified in the ASNs does not match the quantity specified in the purchase order, it implies that some of the goods ordered have not yet been delivered. The delivery process step is therefore not yet completed even though invoices have been created for the existing ASNs.

  • Status of SC set differently in System after Rejection!

    Hi all,
We are working on SRM 5.0(Sp11),standalone scenario.
We are usng the n level SC approval workflow for SC(WS14000133).In addition we areusing the offline approval functionality for the SC approval. When testing the below mentioned scenario,i found some differences in the system behavious:
    Scenario.
Created a SC with 1 item with total value $300.It went for approval to 1 approver who rejected it.(The approver has no authorization to change the SC while the requsitioner has).
1.When the SC is rejected via email(thorugh Outlook),the  the status is set to "IN YOUR INBOX"(Header level) and "AWAITING APPROVAL"(Item level). Then the requester recieves another email (after the approver approves the SC) to accept the chnages and then the status in SRM is updated as   "RELEASE REJECTED"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level).
2.When the SC is rejected from SRM,the status is set to "IN YOUR INBOX"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level) and the value of the cart is reset to "0".
Then when the requester (after the approver approves the SC)  accepts the chnages in transaction CEHCK STATUS ,the status in SRM is updated as   "RELEASE REJECTED"(Header level) and "REJECTED"(Item level) and also the price is set to the original value($300)
Can anyone confirm this behaviour? Why is the status of the SC set differently when rejected from Outlook and SRM?Also is the reset of the price standard behaviour?
    regards,
    SRM Tech.

    Hello,
what you describe is not the standard process: it is possible only for contracts (KBA 1860426 - Shopping Cart item has status "Cannot be ordered")
Do you have any specific developments?
Check OSS notes and also what's happened at runtime through break-point in /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_RFQ /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BO_RFQ~CHANGE_STATUS method from /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_BO_RFQ class.

  • SRM PO failed: Indicator for GR-based invoice verification used not allowed

    Hi Friends,
I have an issue with a specific PO failed to transfer from SRM to ECC. We are in ECS scenario, SRM 5.0 Service level 7.0. We are in process of SP upgrade but this issue occured in Production system which is still in old SP level(SP 7.0).
when I check the App Monitor, I am see the following errors:  but the status shows Auto_Completed
    1. PO: Indicator for GR-based invoice verification used not allowed
    2. PO: Instance XXXXXXXXXX of object type PurchaseOrder could not be changed
    3.  PurchOrder XXXXXXXXXX: Purchase order still contains faulty items
    4.  PO XXXXXXXX: Indicator for GR-based invoice verification used not allowed
I can see the PO copied over to ECC. but status in SRM PO shows 'Error in Process'.
BBP_PD for object PO shows:  Created, complete, ordered, In Transfer to Execute, Change was Transmitted  as Inactive status.    Transfer Failed shows Active, Document completed, created.
I checked BP Maintain  for the vendor and PO and its no different than other POs and Vendors except Vendor had 'Goods Receipt based Invoice Verification' indicator checked in SRM.
I tried to simulate the same Material, Vendor with GR-IV indicator both on and off, it works fine. Ofcourse this is in Quality box with SP 15 level.
So, I am not sure if SP level upgrade might help it or not? If there are any other means to test, please advise.
    thanks
    Rao

I was wondering how I could liquidate the PO by either creating a new PO or ??.
What you could do to revive the PO in question is that after the upgrade, and after a round of background jobs run for CLEAN_REQREQ_UP and BBP_GET_STATUS_2, ask the buyer to make a dummy change to the PO (for example, change the description of the PO) and order again. This would trigger the transfer to the backend again. And hopefully this time, no error would occur.
