Failed to compile QT4 examples

Hi there,
I'm having problem compiling a QT4 application. I then tried to compiled the textedit demo shipped with QT4. It doesn't work either:
I did:
QT4DIR=/opt/qt4 /opt/qt4/bin/qmake && make
But the compilation failed because headers couldn't be included:
g++ -c -pipe -mtune=generic -march=i686 -O2 -pipe -Wall -W -D_REENTRANT -DQT_NO_DEBUG -I/opt/qt/mkspecs/linux-g++ -I. -I/opt/qt4//include -I. -I. -o textedit.o textedit.cpp

  • CreditFlow example fails to compile

    Hello.
    I have downloaded and installed bpel 10.1.2 and the bpel designer for Eclipse. I have Eclipse 3.1 installed.

    Does anyone know how to get past this?
    Thanks.

    There is no need for deinstalling anything - and why this should not be possible.
    For serverside:
    the only thing you have to take care is the path setting in setenv.bat - which sets the path for the jdk .. ($BPEL_HOME/bin)
    client side, eclipse offers you to specify the vm location (-vm switch)

  • JWSDP 2.0 examples failing to compile

    I am using JWSDP 2.0, JDK 1.5.0_06 AND tOMCAT 5.5.18.
    While compiling "fromjava" example of JWSDP 2.0, I am getting error
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/bind/annotation/AccessType
    I tried searching this class in all the jar files available in JWSDP 2.0 as well as JDK 1.5.0_06 but couldn't get.
    Then I tried searching the net as if I don't have the jar file containg this class and I got the following post saying that the class name has been changed to "XmlAccesType" in an update of JAXB.
    http://forums.java.net/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=14599&messageID=102626
    I don't see this class used in any of the example source, it means some other class used in the library is using it and I have no way of changing this file and get this example working.
    Could any body help me compile this example.

    See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. Use the steps in the second box to repair your iTunes installation. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup advice elsewhere in the user tip.

    Are you editing this job in SQL 2012? Is it wrapping your paths in \"? Like for example does the command line tab on the step look like this:
    /FILE "\"D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsx\""  /CONFIGFILE "\"D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsConfig\"" /CHECKPOINTING OFF /REPORTING E
    That's the problem I had, and I resolved it by recreating the whole thing via SQL Script and getting rid of all those \" things. I think that is preventing SSIS from looking up the precompiled binaries for your Script Task. So you should edit the command
    line manually:
    /FILE "D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsx"  /CONFIGFILE "D:\yourPathGoesHere.dtsConfig" /CHECKPOINTING OFF /REPORTING E
    Please write back whether that helps you. David Dye's answer didn't help me at all.

  • EJB fails to compile - static inner class problem

    I am using OC4J 9.0.4 and Sun JDK1.4.2 and EJBs fail to compile if they reference objects that contain static inner classes. However, they successfully compile under JDK1.4.1.
    For example, I have a class like below:
    public class ValueObject
    public static class Key
    private Key key;
    private String value;
    Any references to ValueObject.Key inside the EJB cause the EJB compiler to generate "ValueObject$Key" which is incorrect. JDK1.4.1 is more lenient than 1.4.2, and allows this error through.
    Is there a way around this problem other than reverting to JDK1.4.1?
    Regards,
    Andy

    The reason I don't want to move to JDK 1.4.1 is because of the memory leak in the StringBuffer.toString() method.
    Is there anywhere I can submit this as a bug?
    Regards,
    Andy

    Remove the -floop-optimize2 switch from the compile lines. If it can't be done with a configure option, patch the Makefiles. You can use sed:
    sed -i 's/-floop-optimize2//g' path/to/Makefile
    Do that to all Makefiles.

  • Global - MathScript Node Failed To Compile Error

    I have Labview 2009 SP1 with Mathscript Module.
    While using 'global' command, I've encountered "MathScript Node Failed To Compile Error" from the first time I tried it.
    In Mathscript window:
    'Error in line 0:  An internal error occurred while processing this MathScript. Contact National Instruments with the MathScript you used.'
    is produced for any simple 'global a' (or any other variable name used).

    Opps, one step you missed in the error code: Contact National Instruments with the Mathscript you used.
    Go ahead and attach some example code that is throwing this error and I'll see if I can reproduce it on this end. There were a bunch of updates to the Mathscript Node in the F3 Patch so make sure that or LabVIEW 2009 SP1 is installed.
    Also, are you seeing this on any other computers?
    Look forward to hearing back!

    Hi!
    I am trying to use a Mathscript node in LV 8.5.1, but with no success. I get the

    Everything works fine when I try the Labview Mathscript Example.
    Do you have any solution for this problem?

    It looks like I might be having the same sort of problem in 8.6.
    I have a large project (deadline in several hours, of course) and suddenly one of my VIs will not compile.
    Can anyone tell me if there is something in this VI that is causing the Mathscript node to fail?

    Which version of LabVIEW are you using?
    In 2013, the error says: Tmech_Ef_1.vi 'Tmechc_Ef':subsystem has illegal term names. And in analyzing the subsystem, I noticed that the Enum where you choose "EF or Tmech" has a "2 <space>" as a label.
    To fix this, just put simple name without spaces in the beginning or the end of the name. In doing this, the VI is runnable.
    Now, another note: I noticed you are trying to pass paraemters between Mathscript and Control Design and Simulation. We have a feature called Parameter Hierarchy that you can just transfer information between both Models of Computation without going through the wires. Also, we do have a plug-in for Mathscript that you can just use for this purpose. Please see shipping examples in the links below and documentation for more information:

    Hi there
    Colum may be spot on, but in case that isn't quite it, you may wish to change the file name so that instead of this:
    Media Manager Demo 3.0.0.5.zip
    It's something like this:
    Media_Manager_Demo_3_0_0_5.zip
    Note that each space now has an underscore as well as each of the dots having underscores.

  • Crystal Reports XI - failed to compile

    We purchased Crystal Report Nov 2007 and had no problem opening a report that was extracted from an accounting database.  We are in the process of upgrading this person to a new machine.  We installed Crystal and tried to open the report but we get this error "The saved data will be discarded since one or more formulas failed to compile."  We have uninstalled and reinstalled and we get the same thing.  We checked to see if the versions were different and they are not there both running Crystal XI version 11.0.0.1282 on Windows XP SP2.  We have changed machines and we get the same thing yet we go to other machine with the same specs and we have no problems so we don't know what to try next.  Can you help?  Jill

    Hi Jill,
    It sounds like the report you are trying to open has a formula that is using an external function.  The external function requires a separate DLL that was not installed onto this new machine.
    The difficult thing is determining which function in which formula is being used.  Have a search on the old machine for U2L*.dll.  Copy these to the new machine and into the same folders.
    Close Crystal and restart.
    Good luck,
    Brian

    I suggest that the "no long long" in Xc mode be dropped
    on these platforms, because that type is used in standard
    header files needed by most software.

    We will consider turning this into a warning and supressing that warning in system header files.

    Hi have solved the issue by importing the  class file.
    <import location="oracle.soa.management.facade.Locator"
              importType="http://schemas.oracle.com/bpel/extension/java"/>
      <import location="oracle.soa.management.facade.LocatorFactory"

  • I can' t compile Stratus example from Adobe sample...

    Hey guys !
    First, please sorry for my bad english, I'm french and it's a pain to explain this kind of problem in foreign language...
    I 'm trying to compile the example code found in Stratus sample (the audio/video chat), but I think some package are missed because Flex found a lot of error. Flex tell me that I'm trying to use some class or properties that doesn't exist...
    Here the list of the missing elements :
    - NetStreamInfo
    - Microphone.codec
    - NetStream.DIRECT_CONNECTIONS
    - Microphone.encodeQuality
    - NetStream.farId
    - Microphone.framesPerPacket
    - NetStream.info
    - NetConnection.nearId
    - NetStream.peerStream
    - SoundCodec
    I 'm using Flex Builder 3.02 (downloaded from the link at the bottom of the stratus' presentation page).I have my Stratus Key, but the problem is not here because I'm unable to launch the compilation...
    Where can I find the class / package I need ?
    In other terms, how can I compile the stratus example with no error.
    Thanks a lot !

    you probably forgot to set the minimum Flash Player version to 10.0.0 in the Flex build settings.  open the Properties for your Flex project, go to the "Flex Compiler" property, and in the "HTML wrapper" section's "Require Flash Player version" enter 10.0.0 in the boxes.  that will enable the compiler to recognize Flash Player 10 APIs.

  • Control & Simulation Loop failed to compile

    Dear Forum Members,
    I have a problem with a Control & Simulation Loop program (attached) that just doesn't compile & run.  I believe that the problem is associated with the 'Feedback Node' at the bottom of this Control & Simulation Frame since if this is taken out the program will run ok.
    Can anyone please advise me if this 'Feedback Node' is incorrectly used or in violation of anything.  I have tried various ways to overcome the problem i.e. initialising it at the start but nothing works.  The error message that I received just says "VI failed to compile".
    Appreciate any help with this.

    Hello bunnykins,
    The Feedback node really isn't a supported function in control design and simulation. The behavior you're reporting, and the work around are both documented in the know issues of the module here:
    201449
    Return
    A Feedback Node on a Simulation Diagram causes the VI to fail to compile
    The Feedback Node does not make sense semantically within a Simulation Diagram, due to the fact that most ODE Solvers will execute the diagram multiple times per iteration and may need to reject steps and try again, filling the Feedback Node with bad data.
    Workaround: Use the Memory block from the Simulation Utility palette. If a delay of greater than 1 is desired you can chain multiple memory blocks in sequence.
