FI Certification FAQ on Solution manager

Dear Friends Good Evening,
I am appearing for SAP FI Certification on next month first week, so any one could help me
What type of question will come on Solution manager and New G/L?
please let me know the status.
if any one having FAQs on Solution manager and New G/L please forward to me.
Regards,
Babu

Hi Babu,
The new certification system has 55% passing marks.
There is no partial marking. Means any question you answer, it has to be correctly marked to the point. If it has 2 correct options, you have to mark exactly those 2 to get marks.
Questions are 80.
Time Period: 3 hours.
No Negative Marking.
35% questions are from TFIN50_1. 30% are from TFIN50_2. 20% are from TFIN52_1. 10% are from TFIN52_2.
These four books are like bible for the certification.
http://www.daypo.net/test-sap-fi-tfin50_1.html
http://www.saptechies.com/sap-fico-certification-questions/
You DO NOT have to learn the T-Codes for the exam.
There are 4-5 questions from Solution Manager and other online training courses too. These are small and can be read and completed just with in one day.
Thanks
Ranjith

  • Questions on "FAQ - SAP Solution Manager for VARs"

    Hi,
I just got through the FAQ - SAP Solution Manager for VARs, but have some further questions:
For me it is not quite clear which connections are necessary for which VAR scenrio.. currently we have setup the service desk in our solman. Customer's aren't linked to the solman yet - we have saprouter-saprouter connections. Connecting them via SAP support backbone is an interesting option, especially for incident management. To get this working we should follow note 1124718 right?
But what about the other scenarios like maintenance optimizer and ewa monitoring? I guess for that we definitly need to build up RFC connections to each relevant customer system (~300+x)?! I think it will be hard to handle so many connections - just consider if a customer is cancalling the maintenance contract, everything needs to be removed again... best would be to have a central communication point...
For MOPZ we need up-to-date system information. So everyone is talking about SLD. Do you also recommend this option? There we need again a connection (direct to SolMan SLD or via external SLD on customer side).
According to the FAQ there is a workaround for ewa monitoring for customers with security doubts.. is this also working for non-ABAP components? We need SMD and WI for generating ewas for JAVA systems...
With regards to Enterprise Support contract: ewa only need to be monitored for productive systems? Can a customer be charged if they want to have ewas monitored for other sytems too? How long do we need to keep the ewas (1 month, 3 months, half year) before they are deleted? Are there any specific requirements?
All the work to get these scenarios working.. is this covered within the Enterprise Support contract? Can the customer be charged for work thats done by the VAR in their system (e.g. RFC connections, SDCCN, SLD,...)?
Sorry for this long text.. hope you have some helpful ideas!
    Regards,
    Richard

    Hello Richard,
    (1) regarding network connections see document [Draft:Technical Support Network Connections for VAR Scenario|http://service.sap.com/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=00200797470000089947&_OBJECT=011000358700000880802009E] as overview and with a lot of detailed information.
    (2) yes, you have to setup once all your customer connections at the beginning but then only add/remove with customer contract changes
    (3) the workaround by sending by email can handled a anexception. EWA has to be done for productive systems like nowadays done by SAP. Additional EWA services could meas additional business case for a VAR - that's contract between VAR and customer.
    (4) whatever you think may be a business to sell - do it ! (and get a monetary bonus from your boss
    Kind regards

    Hi there!
I would like to give Certification exam in SAP Solution Manager 4.0.
Pertaining to this could anybody share the related PDF Files.

    Hello,
I've tried to get to some Sample Questions here on Forum, but I couldn't get any.
I passed an exam on 14.11.2006 and I suggest to you to use course materials as suggested by SAP (SMI310). That is sufficient to pass the certificate. All the answers are there.
My general opinion: not easy…You have to be pretty much concentrated as there were questions put in negative expressions. You have to be really, really carefull.
They are taking a lot of details on subjects like Type of projects (Template projects, Roll out implementations, customer satisfaction…) including its Roadmaps. (e.g. roll-out project phases and its content….)
I only saw 3 or 4 questions familiar to me (from Test your knowledge, SMI310 book), others were really related to course materials but spoken in their own words…
If you have any questions, dont hesitate to contact me.
Good luck to you and best regards.

  • Solution Manager Certification -- Change Control Management

I am planning to do the certification test on "Application Management Expert - Change Control Management" , C_E2E200_08.
I am looking for sample questions or any study tips.

    Hello Tathagata,
    Please do the following checks.
    1) Check if the satellite system TMS is configured with three system landscape.
    2) Check both to and back RFCs to the systems. Especially check if the users are not locked. Even if the users are locked, the RFC check may give you green.
    3) Go to central configuration(/TMWFLOW/cmsconf) in Solution Manager system and check if the system are shown green.. If not there will be a check list to make the systems green. For example no changes should be permitted in the production system.
    Regards

  • Solution manager implementation tool certification(SMI310)

    hi all,
How's the question pattern for Solution manager implementation tool certification(SMI310)
           - partial marking(old pettern) or SAP will mention the option of correct answers(new pattern)?
    regards
    jaichan

    Hi,
From my basis certification exam experience,  i learned that anyone shouldnt be thinking about examination assessment. But rather one should be concentrating on the objectives of each lesson. If you dont do handson part of each chapter exercise,  then you are in danger!
You can test yourself, by checking whether you can explain each lesson objectives/goals in detailed or not.
One more trick to get prepared well yourself well is to bringout opposite version of the sample questions after each chapter.
This will help you building up confidence on the subject matter.
I wish you will definitely qualify the certification.
    Cheers,
    Srikar

  • Certification Solution Manager (C_PXSUP_90 exam)

    Hi!
C_PXSUP_90 exam - SAP Certified Support Consultant on SAP All-In-One
I am going to buy the test C_PXSUP_90 exam.
    Sites:
    http:// http://www.dumpsells.com
    or
    http:// http://www.examsavior.com/
I am afraid that me will deceive.
    Help me, please!

Hi all - my 2cents since I came across this thread whilst trying to find information on taking this exam:
I took the exam this morning, and the syllabus on the SAP Education website (BC400 and SM001) is a pretty fair representation of what you need to know - (or at least what I was examined on).
These seemed to be the main things :
    ABAP side of things:
ABAP Editor - transactions, what it is used for.
    Debugging.
ABAP Dictionary - transactions, what it is used for, Elements/Domains/DatabaseTables/Structures
Error analysis - what transactions would you use to diagnose problems.
    Know your way round SE80, SNOTE, ABAP Trace/SQL Trace, SM21, ST11, SM13, SM12, ST05, SE11, SE16,SM51, SM30
    Screen processing (PAI/PBO), SY-SUBRC,
    Solution Manager side of things
Message statuses, Response times, How to get to OSSNotes from SolMan, Use of Username and Password in Support Messages, Escalation procedure, Work Centres, Mission Critical Support, Initial Response Times, Creation of messages on behalf of a customer, Product Support Hierarchy, Maintenance of Business Hours.
Hopefully that can be of some help to people out there...
One thing I would say is that it's definitely biased towards ABAPers with support experience - there was plenty about how to investigate issues rather than build stuff from scratch. Solution Manager is easy to understand if you've got support experience as it formalises lots of procedures you'll be familiar with e.g. receiving a message from the Customer explaining that there's been a problem, mapping a Customer's landscape and getting all their Hotpack Levels, undertaking an upgrade with a Roadmap etc.
Best of luck to anyone taking the exam!

  • Solution Manager for a Functional Consultant

    Hai Friends
I am currently working as an SAP-MM consultant. I want to learn SOLMAN.
    My queries are
Where can I get Study material for SOLMAN ?(apart from help.sap.com)
How SOLMAN helps for a Functional Consultant in implementatin ?
details regarding certification in SOLMAN ?
    Thanks
    Sukumaran.E

    Hello Sukumaran,
There are certainly loads of resource which can help you to get fit for the topic.
I will point out some of them for you:
    <b>Certification Program</b>
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/certification">http://service.sap.com/certification</a>
SAP Consultant Certification -> SAP NetWeaver -> SAP Solution Manager 4.0 - Solution Manager Implementation Tools.
This requires you to take the SMI310 as preparatory course which is the SAP Solution Manager course that goes through the intire range of implementation and configuration support provided by SAP Solution Manager.
    <b>RKT material</b>
The ramp-up knowledge transfer material (RKT) consists of role-specific information on a variety of SAP Solution Manager topics.
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman">http://service.sap.com/rkt-solman</a>
Concentrate on SAP Solution Manager 4.0 release and the product offerings for the Solution consultant role. Check the must know section and for a functional insight into the project functionality I'd recommend the tutor <i>SAP Solution Manager in an implementation project</i> and for a methodological insight the tutors on roadmap usage.
    <b>Additional information</b>
Can be obtained via <u></u><a href="http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager">http://service.sap.com/solutionmanager</a>, check out the media libary and for some general questions the FAQ section.
This should help you to get started. Good look for your upcoming taks!
    Best regards,
    Doreen
