Field Control settings in SRM 7.0
Hi Experts ,
We are configuring SRM7.0 with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
We want to make
1. Some fields mandatory for example Refernce Document in Confirmation document..etc --->> I done setting in the sRM Config at SPRO......-> Configure Control for Fields on Header Level->Metadata for Fields on Document Headers for this field and now it is howing red star in that document, but stuill w/o entering in that field, system allowing me to post this confirmation document....we had not used DOC_CHECK badi for same.. Is using of this or other Badi is necessary to give me error message if this field is not entered ?
2.1 want to hide some fields like Prefered Supplier in Shopping cart item level.....I checked in UI, its field id is PROP_SUPPLIER....but unable to find the field for same in the SPRO-.......Configure Control for Fields on Item Level->Metadata for Fields on Item Level..... Where can get exact /corrcet field name for fileds in UI ..so that I can hide them?
2.2 Also How can I hide tab Page like "Approval" in any documnet like Shopping Cart or any documnet ?
3. I want to change the Name of the Button in SRM web browser for example SAVE button in all documnet I want to make it as PARK.... and want to change the name of field ( for example Refernce Document to Delivery Note in Confirmation document..in synh with ECC..to avoid confustion of user) is it possible ? if yes , how ?

2. Check in SPRO->Cofigure field control->Configure Control for Fields of Substructures
Add a new entry with

It's difficult to know the difference for these so-called "table name"...
"SAP implementaion --> supplier relationship management --> supplier self-service --> settings for user interface --> make field control settings for tables"+
What's actual meaning for these table names? Where can I find related document and actual corresponding transparent tables for these so-called talbes?

SRM Field Control for Master Data fields e.g. hide Street prefix
Hi Experts,
we are using SRM 7 Ehp1.
For the RFx process we need to create bidders.
To simplify the creation of the bidder for the users we would like to hide
all unnecessary fields e.g. Street prefix / Street suffix.
I tried to use the customizing img "SAP Supplier Relationship Management --> SRM Server --> Cross-Application Basic Settings --> Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) --> Configure Field Control"
I've tried the function "Configure Control for Fields on Header Level".
There is a business object type BBP001 for bidders but only 4 fields are available for field control.
It seems this customizing entry is only for transaction data, e.g. SC, PO but not for master data.
Is it possible to hide fields for bidders within SRM?

SRM 7.0 custom field made required in field control but not working
Dear Gurus,
I have added one custom field in the SC, made it mandatory/required with by setting flag in the field control. But i can save/park/order the SC without entering any value in the field.
However, if i set the same option for a standard field like "shopping cart name", the user cannot go further without entering a value. Although I can handle this with the BAdI, but shouldn't this work?

I'd say Yes it should. But it is not working based on my observation. I'd suggest that you create an OSS message and get an official SAP response to this issue. -

I Write for the following thema
I have added two fields in the view 'V_PO_DODC_HD_GN_BD' component '/ SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_PO_H_BD1', which through configuration only appear in the types of purch-orders ZBES or ZIPO, these fields make it through these steps in the 'SPRO' , this steps are:
SPRO -> SAP Supplier Relationship Management -> Server SRM ->Cross-Aplication Basic Settings -> Extensions and Field Control (personalization) -> Configure Field Control->Configure Control for Fields on Header Level.
Questions in the 'Dyn. Customer Class' should I put some sort so you can read my search help? Or the 'customer Method' should I define it? could help me understand the use of these 2 points?
As mentioned already the fields are showing on my screen of SRM,
However, they have asked me now who helps place a field that belongs to the values corresponding to 'ECC' table 'EIKP' field 'stabe' and 'EIKP' field 'EXPVZ'.
The issue here is as Complete help and that these fields are not displayed in the view 'V_PO_DODC_HD_GN_BD' component of the above.
How should you add the 'search help' to that view if the fields do not appear?, and, how do I tell the system to show for each field the corresponding value?
On the other hand, asking me to do a transfer of the selected ECC values, how this is done?
I researched and helps provide within SCN mentioned that I should do so through RFC destinations, but that method should be to integrate the code? What are the steps I must do to accomplish this?
I have suggested several readings of SCN should be done through the following configuration
SPRO à SAP Supplier Relationship Management à SRM Server à Business Add-Ins à Control Extended Classic Scenario à Transfer Purchase Order Data to Logistics Backend
However, do not know what is the correct way to implement it? For such fields are transferred to ECC and how do I know if properly performed effectively sending the values of those fields?

STO Process Copy control settings
Dear Gurus,
I am having issues with item number in purchase order and delivery document. I require the same item numbers in purchase order to be copied to delivery document. I think i got to do something with copy control settings. Please help me. I am confused since its an STO process.

Here customization can be done as follows:
Step 1: SPRO --> MM --> Purchasing --> PO --> Set up STO
In this step the customer number and sales area is assigned to Supplying & Delivering plants.
Step 2: SPRO --> Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Delivery --> Copy control --> Specify Copy control for Deliveries
Check the settings made for DL to NL (STO) and DL to NLCC (Cross company) copy control settings.
Step 3: T.Code OVLK
The Delivery document types NL and NLCC needs to be assigned with "B" in the order required field. Thus, the system understands the data for delivery document has to be copied from Purchase order.

Copy control settings for Multilevel variant configuration
Dear All,
I have the following scenario for variant configuration A quotation is created for configurable material with multilevel configurable material
with reference to this quoatation a sales order is created.
My requirement is that the quoatation must get copied to sales order as it is along with the values for subitems also.
In copy control settings there is a field at item level called
configuration :
In this if I maintain value
A: The variant is getting copied but the values for subitems is not getting copied the values for main material is in changable mode.
B: The variant is getting copied but the values for subitems is not getting copied the values for main material are not in changable mode.
C:The variant is getting copied the values for subitems is getting copied the values for main material are in changable mode but the values for subitems are not in changable mode.
My requiremnt is that
The variant must get copied
the values for subitems must get copied
the main material vlaues must be in changable mode
the subitems vlaues must be in changable mode
How can I fullfill this requiremnt, has any one of you come across this scenario, Pleae provide with solution it is urgent

Mohammed Roshanif you run VTAA you would try to create a copy control as follows:
source: QT (quotation)
target: CQ (quantity contract)
say, take the existing record QT->AA (just an example) highlight it and hit 'Copy As'. Type 'CQ' in Target SalesDocTyp field.
hit Enter. Hit 'copy all'. (if you get a message regarding the "-" or "+" quantityt set this field blank (empty)
save it and test.

I'm a student using Dreamweaver CS5. I'm trying to upload files to a remote site. In the Remote Server pane I can't see the files under Remote Server. Just a message "To see the files in your repository, you must define its Version Control settings." How do you do that? I've typed it into all the help fields and can't get an answer. Thanks.
It could be that you haven't defined the site correctly. First I suggest go to:
Site >> Manage Site
At the next window, select the site you have defined from the list. If the list is blank then you need to define the site by clicking on the New button
However, if the list is bot blank then just the site that is giving you the problem and then go to Version Control
at the version Control dial;og box make sure the Access box is "None" and everything else is greyed out.
Now save it and this should solve the the problem you are having.

Field Dominance Settings 1080 60i

I have footage shot with Sony HXR NX5U. Shot on 1080 60i.
What should be the Field Dominance settings be? Upper, Lower, or None?
I exported the final project to Dual Layer DVD. When people are moving hands fast or dancing. Its does not look like a smooth hand movement.
Are my settings wrong somewhere?

The smartest thing to do is a short test with a section with a lot of movement and try the 3 different options. You might also consider deinterlacing in compressor in the frame controls. -

In cProjects, in set-up field control it is possible to adjust behavior (display, updatable, mandatory, u2026) field by field.
My questions are:
- Where to find the complete list of conditions available?
- Is any condition is usable everywhere, for example C001 Object is released on a DAG Document (means the object link to this document is released)?
- Is there a condition with a meaning like u201CThe object is in creationu201D (to have for example a phase description not updatable after creation)?
- How to create its own conditions?

I am trying to setup field control to make a bespoke field in a bespoke tab toggle between READ only and Editable.
I have gone through number of posts and the SAP note you mentioned. I have setup the entire configuration required and it is still not working.
What confuses me is that, to setup a field control dynamically, is it all done via configuration?. Is some coding still required in the VIEW methods?. I am setting up a debug breakpoint in the class method that is created for the condition I created, but the program is not stopping there so I think the condition method is not being called.
Please can you give some more details.

We have requirement to add new Customer field in Shopping cart (SRM 4.0) and assign a default value to it.
We have added the custom field and also assigned default value 'X' to it using BADI BBP_CUF_BADI_2 method MODIFY_OUTPUT. Problem we are facing is in case user changes the value and unchecks the custom field then it gets overwritten by default value once the shopping cart is saved. We have followed steps mentioned in link below in order to add custom field and populate it.

are you doing something like this?

MOVE 'YOUR_DEFAULT_VALUE' TO EV_VALUE.
ENDIF.

Passing custom field in contract in SRM to contract in ECC
Hi,
We are using SRM 7.0 with ECC 6 (no EHP). We're planning to use central contract distributed with IDOCs. Our contract in ECC has custom field added in the header. We have tried and successfully pass the contract from SRM to ECC (using IDOC BLAORD03 and COND_A).
I know we can create custom field in contract in SRM, but how to pass the value in the custom field in SRM contract to custom field in ECC contract? Do we need to edit IDOC BLAORD03? Is it possible?

The question is - Is it possible to somehow customize field control for TRIP selective screen by means of SPRO IMG Scheme and field control or transaction FITVFELD (i.e. hide some fields or add new fields)? Or fields can be added or deleted only by ABAP modifications and User-exits?
Prerequisite: I need to add an additional CHAR or TEXT field "Document number" in TRIP transaction which will allow a manager to manually enter a document number of a trip. Further this field has to be added in reports as well, so that manager could get all the trip details due to this new field "Document number".
What am I doing wrong?

how do you define trip provision variant at first?
did copy standard variant?!
if you copy from standard variant - such as 01, or 99, then you will find schema under your copy trip variant.
