Field in 2lis_02_scl

Dear Experts,
We have extracted the data through 2lis_02_scl into 0pur_c01 and we created a report on this cube " Purchase order history".
We have a requirement for account maintenance Purchase orders to be excluded in the query output.
Is there any indicator maintained in R/3 in the purchase order item level or header level to exclude the particular account
maintenance purchase orders in the output ?
Regards,
Bhadri M.

Hi,
If u want to hide that field, make the checkbox for 'hide field' checked. Then automatically that field will be hided from the datasource and yu wont get any data for that field.

• Invoiced qty field in 2lis_02_scl

I am extracting data from 2lis_02_scl in this we have a keyfigure called invoice qty,so my user wants this value to be extracted from mseg table filed menge .First of all I want to know the invoice qty figure is coming from which table & the data of this table will be same as that of mseg –menge field,if so what will be the difference if thevalues are not same then in order to extract data from this table for this particular field what needs to be done
Pls help me out

Hi,
Invoiced qty is calculated by the extractor .So I hope,it is either the qty from MSEG table or the qty for which the finance document has been created. Also search the consulting notes on this field.
If you still not interested to go with field. Then my suggestion is enhance the BF Ds to get PO and PO item and then create the update rules from this infosource.

• 2LIS_02_SCL - How to Enhace it?

Hi All,
I have a request to add 2 field in 2lis_02_scl:
1) Invoice Price, i checked in the extract estructured and i can add this field from Tx (LBWE), so its ok.
2) Invoice Number, i couldnt find in the extract estructured, so i have to enhace the extractor.
Here is my question, can anyone tell me which are the steps in order to add this field in the extractor, i've never did this.
Point will be assigned.
Regards

1)Go to RSA6 and find the data source you need to enhance.--> Display
2)Double click on the Extract structure.
3)Now click on the append structure button to add the required field on to the existing structure.
4) add your required fields with ZZ appended to your field.
5) Save & Activate the append structure. Then go back and make sure you activate the extract structure also.
6) Now again go back to RSA6 and select your Data Source. But this time go to change Data Source to remove the hide option to the enhanced fields. By default they’ll be in hide mode. If you don’t remove the hide field then this field will not be seen in BW side.
7) Now go to SE38 to write the logic to populate the data into the enhanced field. Program name to write the logic is ZXRSAU01.
8) Check + Save + Activate.
9) Check in RSA3 if data is populated as per your requirement.
10) Replicate your Data Source.
11) Now go to Data Source/ Trans. Structure screen. Now you can see the enhanced field on the right hand side.

• Use of 2LIS_02_SCL and 2LIS_03_BF

Hi,
Could someone please throw some light on the use of different fields in 2LIS_02_SCL and also for BF datasources.
What the fields represent, what kind of data do they bring to BW, and kind of reports that can be created on them?
Eg: I had a particular doubt on the field values for sales and Cost and Quantity against materials for each PO...what is Posting Date? and What is the significance of Movement Type 001 and 002...
Any scenarios that help my query get answers would also be appreciated..or some kind of documentation...
Points would be awarded...
Thanks,
Aby

Hi,
2lis_03_bf is used to extract the material movement data from MM Inventory Management (MM-IM) consistently to a BW system.
2lis_02_scl extracts consistent basic data for analyzing purchasing documents to a BW system

• 2LIS_02_SCL - need Doc Currency Amount (WRBTR) from EKBE table

Problem: We are using the 2LIS_02_SCL to get our purchasing order data. The problem is that instead of sending over the Doc Value Amounts found in the EKBE table, SAP is doing a calculation based on the the local currency. They are then using the Exchange rate from the PO Header. Our users are complaining, because they expect it to match up with what is in the purchase order history.
I was planning to create a new amount field and and in my transfer rules write ABAP code to take the following fields from 2LIS_02_SCL:
BW:CValLC(BWGEO), Local cur.(HWAER), Posting Date, Currency(WAERS)
Use this Date to go back to TCURR to get the correct exchange rate that is used and do my calculation to doc currency (basically replicating the data as viewed in PO History).
I ran into an issue however. The Currency (WAERS) field is being filled with the value from EKKO. I have a below example where in EKBE, the PO was invoiced in a currency other than the DOC Currency.
Data in R/3 from EKBE (History per PO)
PO: 1
Amount in Local Currency(DMBTR): 250,01
Local Currency (HSWAE): USD
Amount in Doc Currency(WRBTR): 250,01
Doc Currency (WAERS): USD
Data in R/3 from EKKO (Purchase Order Header)
PO: 1
WAERS: DKK
In this scenario, I am unable to populate the correct value (as seen in purchase order history).
I don’t see of a way that I can get around this. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Jiri,
You can suggest the RRI from cube built on SCL report to cube built on EKBE based on PO.
Also check if this can be solved by using a multi-cube on these 2 cubes.
I have done a RRI when I was facing the same issue.

• PO : Invoice value in ME23N is not matching with 2LIS_02_SCL field BWGEO

Hi Expert,
1) Invoice value in ME23N tcode is not matching with datasource 2LIS_02_SCL field BWGEO in item level
for few item BWGEO field contain the data with tax but for few item the value is not coming correctly.
2) The value is not matching for that particular item which has same material document in other Item level.
eg. PO(eg 60000XXXXX) if item 1 has invoice value with tax is 1300+52 and its material doc is XXXX1234. if same material doc XXXX1234 is present in
item 2 for another invoice of same material invoice value with tax is 1200+48. In that case the value which is coming in
BWGEO field is 1300 only.
I am working in 7.0 system for AFS specific. My whole transaction is in INR.
Thanks and Regards

Please review the information below from one of our deverlopers
- it may explain the behaviour you are seeing on your system:
When posting a GOODS RECEIPT for a DELTA UPLOAD process you only will
have the information regarding the GOODS RECEIPT values (XMCEKET-WEMNG
and XMCEKET-WEWRT) and not the invoice values (XMCEKET-REMNG and
XMCEKET-REWRT).
When posting an INVOICE for a DELTA UPLOAD process you only will
have the information regarding the INVOICE values (XMCEKET-REMNG
and XMCEKET-REWRT) and not the GOODS RECEIPT values (XMCEKET-WEMNG and
XMCEKET-WEWRT).
The DELTA INIT process is different, because for this process, all
information about posted documents against a purchasing order need to
processed again and this means that all documents related to an order
(invoices, goods receipt, deliver costs, goods issue, etc)
are read from database and rebuild one by one in the same process, and
of course this information in available.
When posting an invoice, the goods receipt information is not
available because of the following reasons:
1 - System standard fields.
In datasource 2LIS_02_SCL, there is only
fields BWMNG - that represents quantity, BWGEO and BWGEO that
represent values. The information under these fields are dependent
from the information of field BWVORG (BW transaction key). This field
determines whether these values are from a purchasing order, goods
receipt or an invoice. You never have a missing information, but when
you want to get goods receipt values, you need to check where the
BWVORG correspond to goods receipt process and not invoice.
2 - Performance
There are documents as purchasing orders and schedule agreements that
are opened for years in some customer system (it may not be your case),
where goods receipt and invoices have been posted during all this time.
Every time that a new document is posted in order to built the
cancellation sentence (ROCANCEL = X) and in order to add the new
value in the old, system need to process all previous posted documents,
and this means processing time. For this reason when posting invoices
only previous documents that are invoices are taken into account and
not goods receipt.
The delta fields, DBWMNG and DBWGEO, are the difference between the
purchasing order quantity and values and the goods receipt quantity
and values, then is natural that this information is only available
when processing a goods receipt and not when processing an invoice.
I'm sorry if this is not the system behavior that you are expecting,
but this is the normal standard behavior and this is really necessary
because of the system performance when dealing with documents that
have a long order history.
Hope this information is useful for you
Best Regards
Barry

• Data source 2LIS_02_SCL / fields ROCANCEL and BWGEO

We consider to use 2LIS_02_SCL to extract schedule line data but after examining the data we got, a confused result occurs.
We discovered for once GR 2LIS_02_SCL always presents 2 lines with almost same data execpt field ROCANCEL equals 'X'.
Something likes:
2010/11/01 ZNB F 4500000030 610.26
X 2010/11/01 ZNB F 4500000030 610.26-
I really dont understand why the secondary line is neccessary? because if it goes into DSO, the GR information would be eliminated. What's the point of designing this?
The other field, for BWGEO :
I found if the purchase order is a transfer delivery accorss plants, records stands for GR (movement type 101) cost zero (BWGEO = 0).
I trust someone used this datasource before, could you please shed light on this? Appriecated.

Hi,
This is a canceled / deleted record from your source system. Since you have loaded data to the target , if any existing records comes with new value will be also loaded in cube as new record. In order to nullify the previous value there will be negative kf with same record.
movement type 101 may be your gr which either you have received against Purchase order or from production please check your flag.
Thanks

• 2LIS_02_SCL field appended code missing

Hello experts,
There is a datasource 2lis_02_scl.
Now in its extract structure a field is appended named YYAMFEXWD.
Also it is not there in any standard table on which the extract structure is created.
It is of type dats length 8.
Its component type is blank.
ALso it is marked as field only.
But no code is written for that field in R/3 exits and though when i extract data i am getting values in that field.
Can anyone tell me from where are the values coming?
I will assign full points.

Hi Mansi,
Datasource 2lis_02_scl picks up data from table EKET, EKKO, EKPO. This is a purchasing data related to schedule lines in purchase orders. Now, the question remains how data coming to field YYAMFEXWD, this filed would have been populated via datasource enhancement in CMOD. check/find for a code giving datasource name and subsequently there will be code for this field.
So on checking code if u did not found any relevant code in datasource enhancement(CMOD) for populating this field. Then cenrtainly this field is not of any use.
If your client has any practise of mainting dataflow documentation, then u may find relevant details in that document. Other wise just skip this field.
Assign the points if it helps you.

• REMNG (Invoice qunty) field not getting values 2LIS_02_SCL Datasource ?

Hi,
I have added the standard field REMNG field to the ds 2lis_02_scl and I am not seeing any values either in rsa3 or psa. Can anyone suggest if anyone have seen this problem before.
BTW in RSA6 ...field only is selected, so do we need to uncheck it ? As I dont see any code written in CMOD for it. Please suggest some clues.
Thanks,

HI,
After activating the datasource did you fill the setup tables again for that application. If not then give a try to it and see if it works or not.
In the mean time i will search on the same issue.
Hope it helps.

Hi Gurus,
I am a monkey when it comes to write ABAP code. I have one DSO-A where we store accounting info of purchading (from DS 2lis_02_acc) and one DSO-B getting data from 2lis_02_scl data source.
We need to write a rountine to read DSO-A for G/L account and populate DSO-B G/L account field.
Please provide me the sample code for this.

• Fields Missing In Maintenance TAB of LBWE

Hi Friends,
I have appended the data source 2lis_02_scl , I see my fields in the data source in rsa6, but in LBWE, in the maintenance TAB, when I try to pull my fields from Right to Left , I dont see my fields on Right hand side, Please clarify this, and also my question is do I have to write my CMOD and then pull the fields on Maintenance TAB??
Thanks and Early response will be appreciated.

You cannot see the enhanced/appended zfiled in LBWE. You have to write code to ppopulate data to that filed.
Follow the below steps:
Enhancements:
BW Side:
Go to CMOD.
1. To create new project—give the project name create give Description  Save
2. Select the radio button Enhancement Assignment and give the Enhancement name you want and press Enter.
3. If the Enhancement is already assigned to some other project it will display the same message saying it is already assigned it some other project.
4. If the Enhancement is not assigned to any project Click on save.
5. Give RSR00001 (For Variable Exits)
6. Activate the Project.
7. Now go to Display  and click on the components button.
8. Now Double click on EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001. In that you can see an include ZXRSRU01.
9. Double click on that include, it will say program name ZX…… are reserved for includes of exit Functions groups.
10. Just Press Enter.
11. It’ll Pop-Up a window saying Include ZX…. Does not exits  Create Object.
12. That is where you have to write the code for the variable exits.
13. RSR00002  BW: Virtual Chars and Key Figures.
14. RSR00003  BW: Moving Characteristics.
R/3 Side:
Follow the above steps and the enhancement will be RSAP0001:
1. ZXRSAU01  Transaction Data
2. ZXRSAU02  Master Data (ATTR).
3. ZXRSAU03  Master Data (TEXT).

• How to track the blocked POs in 2LIS_02_SCL extractor

Hi Gurus,
We have field ROCANCEL in 2LIS_02_SCL extractor which sets to X and R for cancelled and deleted records. On ECC side we either delete the PO (at Item level) or block the PO.
For deleted POs the ROCANCEL flag is setting to R and we are OK with this but how can we track the blocked orders?
The business requirement is to report on blocked orders too.
Thanks,
Anil

Hi,
In Bw thre is always confusion about following Dates.
Posting Date (0PSTNG_DATE)
Schedule Line Delivery Date (0SCL_DELDAT)
Statistics Date (0STAT_DATE)
So ask Functional Consultants and Business USers and Identify the corretc Date in ECC and then Change the Mapping In UPdate Rules in BW. i.e. What date USer is wanting and accordingly we nee dtgo change the mapping in UPdate Rules in Time Char Tab in UpdateRules.
Thanks

• Delivery Completed Indicator(ELIKZ:0COMPL_DEL) in 2LIS_02_SCL

Hi Experts,
I am using the datasource 2LIS_02_SCL for Purchasing reports and this extractor has the 'Delivery Completed Indicator'[ELIKZ] which is mapped to 0COMPL_DEL in BW. The ODS which in our system has the 0PROCESSKEY as one of the key fields. Hence there are multiple records for one PO item with different 0PROCESSKEY. However the 'Delivery Completed Indicator' is not correctly extracted. For example, for one of the PO items which are not marked as delivery completed in R/3, the records extracted are as follows:
Purch.Doc. Item( Deliv.date Pur Purc D
POD Doc Item Schedule Line Process Key Delivery Completed Indicator
3000000583 00001 0001 001
3000000583 00001 0001 002 X
The delivery completed indicator was set & unset in R/3. This is an issue with all the similar PO items. The indicator in not set for all the records. Is there any rule that only certain process keys should be considered to identify the indicator?.
Kindly help.
Regards,
Shilpa

Hi,
You can have more than these 3 depending on your system setup.
If remember correctly, everything ending with 1 is PO related, 2 is GR related and 3 is invoice related. So, for GR related records, look at Process Keys 1 (so you know the Line Item quantity), 2 for GR's, 12 (GR reversals or issues?), 22 (GR issues or reversals?).
Of course, with all things SAP, every system is different and you may have other keys you need to include. As someone else wrote, looking to the transaction key mapping for the movement types.
Also, you should ask the functional guys or the business (if there are no functional people) for all of the GR related scenarios for Purchasing. They should give you a list of 5 -10 scenarios on how material can be bought and brought into the system. With that list, run through each one and see what records are created and when. This will display to you how the system works and you can program based on the results. This will take a while, but will be very beneficial to you.

• How to add a new field in target ODS that is not available in source ODS ?

Hello every one , this is the first time i am placing a question
- Currently we have an existing ODS based on 2LIS_02_SCL data source. This ODS is already in production.
We have a requirement to use this existing ODS as our source to load required data in to two different data targets which also are ODS.Their update rules are different.
Problem: There is now a requirement to include a new field (PO need date) in the two target ODS. As this field in not available in our source ODS . How do we go about adding this.
concern: As the source ODS is already in Production, How do we go about loading data if this new field is added.
Anticipating your co operation.

The new field is 0SCL_DELDATE (planned delivery date of document schedule line)
It is already there in the comm structure of our source ODS. But as it was not needed earlier in the source ODS, it was not used/added.(i.e not there is the source ODS update rules)
But now as we are basing our targets on this source ODS.
How do i go about doing this.
The main idea of doing it this way is because we do not want to reload data from R/3.
