Filter Recurring Transaction Templates

Dear experts,
I want to filter Recurring Transaction Templates based on a dropdown field on the form. Suppose in dropdown I selected 'Monthly', then only those templates should be displayed on the form where Recurrence is monthly.
Can I do that ? Is this situation possible ?
Plz reply me to help me out.

Hi Pedro Magueija,
But I have to provide some solution to client. What can I do for this ? Any alternate solution ?
is there any possibility to delete or make invisible to those templates which are not in use or which have been closed ?
Plz reply.

  • Activities Generation using transaction template???

    Good day Gurus!!
    Really need your help!
I'm trying to generate list of activities for specific Target Group of business partners. Also I need that generated activities would have PLANNED DATE from business partner master data (visiting hours).
E.g. If business partner's visiting hours = Mon, 11am-1pm; Fri, 4pm-6pm, then 2 activities should be generated respectively one for Mon and second for Fri.
Transaction CRMD_CALL_LIST seems to be pretty convenient for that. However there are couple of questions:
    1) Is there a way that generated Activities keep link to the Marketing Campaign to which Target Group is assigned?
    2) Is there a possibility to use transaction template for mass generation of activities?
There is another approach of generating activities - I can do it from CRM_MKTPL. If I use this approach then generated activities are automatically linked to Marketing Campaign and are created using transaction template. BUT in this case:
    1) How can generate these activities based on Business Partner Visiting hours???
Thanks for having read it to the end.
Any answer will be truely appreciated,
    Nikita

Here are some jpgs since nobody has replied to this thread yet.  I hope this helps everyone because I do need the help.

  • Does SAP SRM support recurring transaction?

    Dear SAP SRM Guru's,
Does SAPSRM support recurring transaction? In few business scenario like lease of a house, or EMI payment of a purchase, the transactions are uniform and repetitive. So, it does not make any sense to create  a PO everytime to make payment to the supplier.
ECC MM does support invoicing plan for such functionality. Does SAP SRM support such recurring transaction in standard? Can you suggest any workaround for that if possible?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Hi Ranjan,
As far as i know SAP SRM does not support recurring transaction or invoicing plan PO. The Alternative for you  requirement  like EMI payment or monthly charges etc can be met in SAP SRM with Limit cart.
You can create a LIMIT cart with value limit  and accordingly  keep  doing GR for part value.
    Thanks

  • Comp BT116H_SRVO filter attachment Document Template on field value

I have a requirement to filter the attachment template documents based on a zfield  value in component BT116H_SRVO . I created a table that will map the template id to a specific zfield value (drop down) & I'm using BADI: Authorization Check on Document Level to within contentmanagement filter which templates will be available. The first time the correct Templates are display but during field value change in  BT116H_SRVO/Details the template values are not updated. The compoment BT116H_SRVO is using component GS_CM to display the template. Please advice.

This will happen if you mistakenly save a Child page as a Template.dwt and overwrite your original Template file. Do you have a backup of your original Template stored some place safe?

  • Recurring Transactions 8.81 - recurrence period

    Hello,
I have a B1 lead who has a very common requirement. He has to fulfill contracts on periodic basis. I thought hey, very well, 8.81 comes with recurring transactions, easy handling, fits perfectly..
Now I see, that I cannot define a 2 or 3 week period, because the "daily" recurrence period only allows recurring from 1 (daily) to 10 (ok so far), but then 15, 30, 45 and 60??? Another and even more severe problem with this day counter is the fact, that I cannot avoid weekend days. Same problem on monthly, quarter, half, ... period.
Can I hope for a 14 and 21 recurrence period on daily basis? Or what even would be better, a variable number so we can use a factor of 7 by ourselves. Otherwise I guess it will be impossible to win this opportunity.
A quick response would be appreciated.
    Thank you
    Sebastian

    Hi Rakesh,
    thank you for your reply.
According to the SDK Help of 8.81, the recurring functionality provided by SDK refers only to activities.
Basic requirement without being able to define a 2, 3 or 4 week cycle based on a certain weekday is just insufficient and ill-conceived.
Therefore I'd like to ask for this enhancement, since it is a basic requirement when talking about recurring transactions. The simpliest way would be to add 14, 21 and 28 to the array of daily recurrence period, which can't be that difficult.
    Thank you
    Sebastian

  • Copy Recurring Transection Templates

    Hi Guys
Is there a way we can copy Purchasing A/P---Recurring Transection Templates from one database to another?
I checked copy express but cannot find it in there.

  • Create a bussiness transaction templates

    Hi guys:
Do you know if it is possible to create business transactions templates to pre fill some data ? like lead templates used for marketing purposes.
    Thanks in advanced
    Susana

we get deprived in differently time ranges our authorizations for the Standard Transactions.
So you try to bypass security checks put in place by the Basis team
or could you explain your requirement ?
Remember (or learn) that creating such transaction, you are able to bypass following authorization checks using SU24 (Identity Management, User and Role Administration of Application Server ABAP, AS ABAP Authorization Concept, From the Programmed Authorization Check to a Role, Editing Authorization Default Data (Development System) / Editing Authorization Default Data (Customer System). )

  • Calendar View: Unable filter Recurring Event by Start/End Time and Group by Recurring Event View

    Hi All,
I have just found several issues with Calendar View from WSS 3.0:
Unable to filter by [Start Time] and [End Time]
I am not sure why these 2 columns doesn't appear in the Filtering column in the View Settings. The workaround found in the internet is to create calculated column for Start Time and and End Time. However, it doesn't work for Recurring Event, the calculated column will show only first recurring event Start Time.
    Unable to use "Group By"
When I create new view in Calendar using format: "Standard View, with Expanding Recurring Events", there is no option to specify "Group By". Anyone knows how to show all recurring event in List view and grouped by Start Time (or any other column).
Thank you and apprecate for any idea.

    Hello,
I got this from a colleague of mine so I can't take credit for it but here might be a possible workaround:
    1. Create two new Columns called Start Filter and End Filter.  Make these columns Calculated Columns with formulas of [Start Time] and [End Time] respectively.  The columns should be of the Date and Time\Date and Time type and should not be displayed on the Default View.
    2. Click Advanced Settings and choose Yes to the question "Allow management of Content Types" in the Content Types section.  Click OK.
    3. Click on the Event Content Type.  Open the two columns created in step 1 and select "hidden" for both of them.  Click OK.
    4. Back at the list settings create a new view or edit an existing view.  When you get to the filter section choose "Show items only when the following is true" and select the following:
    Start Filter
is less than or equal to
    [Today]
    And
    End Filter
is greater than or equal to
    [Today]
    5. Click OK to save the view.
    6. Open the List view web part that is displaying the recently changed calendar and change the view to the newly created or newly edited view.  Click Apply, OK.

  • Transaction templates

    Hi All ,
can any one help me in this..my problem is ..
we are executing a target group specific campaign..my requirement is , when we transfer the target group to the execution channel in campaign , a sales transaction Qoutation should be generated for each business partner..
I assume this can be achieved by transaction tamplates..
Can any one give me clear config steps to achieve the above scenario...plz let me know if my question is not clear ?
    Thanks in avcance

    Hi,
why are you so impatient! First I would be better if you can provide a real name instead of your "sap crm" account.
AFAIK it is only possible to create activity templates which then will be used to create activities when the campaign is executed. Can you explain why quotations should be created as the result of a campaign? I think leads or opportunities can be the result of a campaign. But as I think this needs to be personally qualified by a sales representative.
    Best regards
    Gregor

  • Pipeline Performance filter on transaction type?

    Dear all,
We are currently working at one of our customers on a CRM 2007 (6.0) and I had two questions regarding Pipeline performance.
    1) If you define 2 different opportunity types, is there a way that you can filter the pipeline performance so that only one of the two opportunity types is taken into account to calculate the sales pipeline?
    2) Is it possible to add some extra filtercriteria in the filter right above the graph (eg. target to date graph, you can only filter on 'first quarter shown', 'last quarter shown', 'owner', 'relevant for forecast', 'sales team', I would like to add 'opportunity group' to that list).
    Thanks in advance!
    Yasmine

hav you tried using solution keys....
for e.g u hav defined 2 solution 1 america and 2 india...now india users can';t see the mesage for america....
this can be achieved by using Solution keys
goto DSWP where you get the list of all solutions if by default some solution open click back button u wil be navigated to the main screen of all solutions
now from SAP Menu goto ->Technical information
This will display solution and ID which you can assign to the users.
    Hope it solve ur problem

  • Templates for recurring entries in GL posting.

    Hi Gurus,
I need step by step configuration documents for 'Templates for recurring entries in GL posting'. Any help will be highly appreciated and awarded. Thnx

    Hi,
    Please find..
1.You need to define no range for recuring document templates always you need to give no as"X1" and no ranges(freely definable.) in "FBN1"
2.You need to create a temlate in "FBD1" this is temlate and not actual document and it will not be updated in your books also, basically you use templates to save the time and controll your mistakes, but in recurring document template you can change all the fields like sampl document template. Here you can change the "Posting date in recurring document template, the amount will be fixed for all periods..
3.You can post as many as you want by using recurring document template in "F.14" and here you can post the document via batch input session, you can always view these tempaltes in "F.15"
Hope understood and you can assign points.
    Thanks,
    Vasu..

  • Background scheduling of recurring document postings

    Hi Freinds,
I have 3 recurring entries every month, Lets say 1 should rum on 1st of everymonth, 2nd one should run on 4th of every month and 3rd entry on 10th. I hve created 3 recurring docs in FBD1.
Instead of go ro F.14 and create batch job every month. I would like to scehdule a background job for the whole fiscal year. So that every month all 3 docs automatically gets posted.
Anyone give me step by step process of scheduling background job.
    thanks in advance..
      Venkat

    hi
    kindly note the steps below:
    1)     Create a recurring document giving the start date and end date, directing the system to post the entries at the end of a period (monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi annually, annually, etc).
    2)     Determinants would be the transaction should recur regularly and have the same values across the horizon of recurrence. Again the posting period in which the entry can be posted should be open.
    3)     Post the entries as on a particular posting date by running a batch process for all the recurring document templates created.
Create Recurring entries document template u2013 FBD1
Execute Recurring entry program u2013 F.14
    Recurring entries list u2013 F.15
