  • Help with floating divs

    Hi All,
I have given up on the liquid template and now started from scratch with fixed divs.
My problem now is the floating elements.
I adapted this layout to a adobe tutorial with less divs so the floats and clears that the tutorial said some dont work.
Could someone look at my template and check the floating so as it sits like it does and wont move with content added.
I want to add a horizontal spry navigation bar at the bottom like the top but when i add another div it moves eveything and i get an error about 3px line gaps.
If I am not making sense please let me know
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
This is my code and css.

    Hello gurus,
I am an ABAPer . i would like to know the overview of business flow in FINANCE. can anyone help me rearding this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Vara,
    check this :
The link between SD and MM :-
    1. When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
    2. MRP and availibility check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
    3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order, the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
    4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
There are many such links between SD and MM.
Now the link between SD and FI :-
    1. Whenever you create a delivery with reference to a sales order, goods movement takes place in the bacgground. eg. In case of standard sales order, you create an outbound goods delivery to the customer.
Here movement 601 takes place. This movement is configured in MM. Also, this movement hits some G/L account in FI. Every such movement of good s hits some G/L account.
    2. The accounts posting in FI is done with reference to the billing documents (invoice, debit note, credit note etc) created in SD. Thus this is a link between SD and FI
    3. Tax determination: In case of a tax determination also, there is a direct link between SD and MM
SD Integration points with other modules
SD module is highly integrated with the other modules in SAP.

  • Intercompany - Multinational Company Finance  issues

    Hi All,
I am at a client who is big multinational automotive company based out of USA. They have following questions:
    1.  Do they use ERS for intercompany?
    2.  Have they automated price updates (automated price synchornization like our custom PO/SO) or are they using standard SAP with "manual" updates to pricing?
    3.  How often do they update intercompany transfer prices?
    4.  Do they use material ledger to assist in calculation of intercompany prices?
    5. Do they have the philosophy that intercompany should process like a 3rd party?
    6.  Any other comments pertinent to overall intercompany pricing and reconciliation philosophies?
Your quick response is highly appreciated.

    Hi Praveen,
I can share with you some of my experiences with the intercompany process.
    1) I have not seen ERS used for intercompany, but it might be possible.  The only caution I would mention is that quantity and value differences do not occur in invoice verification.  This could be a problem if the warehouse received incorrect quantities, or if the intercompany prices are not loaded correctly.
    2) In the past, we have created programs that would update the intercompany condition type and the associated purchasing inforecord to ensure that the current prices were used.
    3) I've seen some companies update on a nightly basis (i.e. they would run the program mentioned in pt 2 before they run the intercompany billing).
    4) Some companies would use the cost stored in the material master and have a field (in the program mentioned in pt2) that would have % markup on  the cost and use this value when updating the SD intercompany prices.
    5) Not sure I understand.
    6) If the company is beginning or in the early stages of the intercompany process, they should assign a u201Cchampionu201D to the oversee the process.  This person should 1) work with the warehouses to ensure that all goods receipts are done in a timely process, 2) they should also monitor the GR/IR accounts to ensure balances are accurate, 3)  they should also monitor any errors that in the invoice overview log (i.e. missing pricing, IDOCs errors, etc), 4) monitor the vendor accounts to ensure that the balances are correct.  The reconciliation process for intercompany billing involves input from a variety of business users.  By documenting a process and following the process this will ensure that the period-end reconciliations are quick with minimal problems.

  • I am using my MacBook for person and work purposes.  Will I overload it and cause it to crash? And how can I finance a new one without paying all upfront?

I am afraid that my computer won't be able to hold all of my files for work and personal use. Will it?  And if I get a new notebook strictly for work, how can I finance it without paying all upfront?

It would help to know which one of the 9 different models of MacBook you have. To see which model you have go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you’re running 10.7 Lion or 10.8 Mountain Lion). When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier and post it back here.
Rather than buying a MacBook Pro to replace your MacBook you can just get a bigger hard drive. You can get a 1tb drive for around $100 and they are easy to replace in a MacBook.

  • ICal: print "year" overview

    Dear Forum,
in iCal, one can select "week" ... "year" as a view.
I would like to print the one year overview, but for whatever reason this is not possible.
Any idea for a workaroud? A script? Or a sweet little App?
    Any help appreciated.
    Cheers
    Martin

It would not, I think, be an easy task. There is no way, AFAIK, to ask iCal to save the equivalent of the week display as a separate file. It would be possible to do it with GUI scripting, but this is not easy and generally not considered reliable.

    [Edit]
You could take a look here - John Maisey has posted a script to print a daily schedule automatically.

  • Calendar 7.0 does not show year overview data

In past iterations of Calendar, when I switched to the "year" view, I would get a nice density graph across the various dates, so I could tell at a glance how heavily scheduled a certain week or month is...
Now when I click on "year view", I see only a blank calendar, and have to click on each date to see if I have something scheduled there. Is there a way to return the previous overview functionality?
    Thank you -
    Randy
    OS X 10.9.5
    2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
    Calendar Version 7.0 (1841.1)

I just successfully created an event called "Good Saturday" for today (Saturday).  It was not a day long event - only an hour long event.
I created a "Good Saturday" day long event for next Saturday and that succeeded.
So I conclude the issue you are seeing must be with the calendar account(s) you are using.
I also run the same build of calendar you have.

  • Ideas for a colour-based overview page

Does anyone have any good ideas of how to create a page that is an overview of a production facility? It would be based on 1 or 2 tables, updated once each minute, and would show the status of each of 176 production units. Each unit would need to show 2 or 3 bits of information: they could all be colour-coded or all except one, which could be numeric. Ideally you would be able to click on the unit to go to detail pages on that unit. The colour codes could be simply colour or could be icons; there are probably advantages in each.
Any thoughts on how to construct something like this?
I should admit that I am still quite new to ADF. Using 11.1.1.2 at the moment but maybe 11.1.1.4 in a month or two.

You can find a ton of potential student projects here:
    http://mindprod.com/projects.html
Dunno if any of them fit your criteria - but it's a start...
    Good luck!

  • Is it possible to have Multiple Spool requests in one batch job overview?

    Hi,
While running one of my z program in back ground, there are two spools generated (one by write statement and one by OPEN_FORM statement and both the spools are available in SP01 Transaction), but when i see the job overview in transaction SM37, I only see one spool request (that of the last spool request). Can any body in the group please tell me is it possible to see multiple spool requests in the job overview of one Abap program and if yes, how?
    Thank you.
    Abinash

    Hi Jayanthi,
Thank you for the link. But probably that discussion was also an unsolved one.
Anyway, does any one in the group think that display of multiple spools per one step job is dependent on client / SAP Server setting? Because as evident from the chain of mails in the link provided by Jayanthi, some people say that they see multiple spool requests for one program in batch mode job overview (SM37)? If yes, can some body tell me the required configuration?
