Flash and XML data loading issue

I have this SWF that loads 2 XML files that controls 2 different areas of the SWF. I am using this code because I have stacked layers and when this was 2 seperate SWFs I couldn't use the SWFObject because of the wmode quirk in FF. So my issue is when you first load this it seems to only load the slideshow (left side) and part of the right menu and then on refresh it loads the rest of the menu - how do I get it to load everything at once? I have attacehed all of my files.

TileList data load issue

I am having an issue where the data that drives a tilelist
works correctly when the tile list is not loaded on the first page
of the application. When it is put on a second page in a viewstack
then the tilelist displays correctly when you navigate to it. When
the tilelist is placed in the first page of the application I get
the correct number of items to display in the tilelist but the
information the item renderer is supposed to display, ie a picture,
caption and title, does not. The strange thing is that a Tree
populates correctly given the same situation. Here is the sequence
of events:

And then the data provider of the tilelist and tree are set
accordingly. I tried putting moving the data calls from the
creation complete to the initialize event thinking that it would
hit earlier in the process and be done by the time the final
completion came about but that didn't help either. I guess I'm just
at a loss as to why the tree works fine no matter where I put it
but the TileList does not. It's almost like the tree and the
tilelist will sit and wait for the data but the item renderer in
the tilelist will not wait. Which would explain why clicking on the
tile list still produces the correct sequence of events but the
visual component of the tilelist is just not working right. Anyone
have any ideas?

Data Load Issue "Request is in obsolete version of DataSource"

I am getting a very strange data load issue in production, I am able to load the data upto PSA, but when I am running the DTP to load the data into 0EMPLOYEE ( Master data Object) getting bellow msg
Request REQU_1IGEUD6M8EZH8V65JTENZGQHD not extracted; request is in obsolete version of DataSource
The request REQU_1IGEUD6M8EZH8V65JTENZGQHD was loaded into the PSA table when the DataSource had a different structure to the current one. Incompatible changes have been made to the DataSource since then and the request cannot be extracted with the DTP anymore.
I have taken the follwoing action
1. Replicated the data source
2. Deleted all request from PSA
2. Activated the data source using (RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL)
3. Re transported the datasource , transformation, DTP
Still getting the same issue
If you have any idea please reply asap.

Spry Tables and Xml Data Sets viewed in IE7

Has anyone ever run into a problem with Spry Tables and Xml
Data Sets viewed in IE7? Work fine in IE6 and Firefox, but get the
error "exception caught while loading feed.xml: [object Error]" in
IE 7. Any ideas?

I came looking for the answer to this question. I could not
find an answer. Eventually I found it the answer that worked for
me, a graphic designer with not much experience in xml.

instructions in the book i was using to learn about spry:
"If Internet Explorer 7 is your primary browser, you'll nee
to take some extra steps to view spry dynamic content locally.
First, your site must be within the local server webroot; be sure
your Lessons folder is stored within the Inetpub>wwwroot folder.
Next, double-click the site name in the files panel to open the
Site Definition dialogue. Click the Testing Server category; from
the Access List choose Local/Network. Click Okay to close the Site

Horray for me! Now i can move on from here and actually get

Demantra Data Load Issue

I am new to Demantra. Have installed a stand alone Demantra system in our server. In order to load data, I created a new model, defined item and location levels, then clicked on 'Build Model'. The data is loaded into 3 custom tables created by me. After creating the model, I cannot login to 'Collaborator Workbench', it gives message 'There are system errors. Please contact your System Administrator'. Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how to resolve the issue.

HFM Data Load Issue

Hello All,
We had an EPMA Type HFM application whose all dimensions were local, The application validated and deployed successfully.
We tried loading data into the HFM application and the data load was successful.
Then we decided to convert all of the local dimension of the above mentioned HFM application as shared dimensions. After converting all the dimensions as shared dimension successfully we are getting error while loading data into the same HFM application (The app does validate and can be deployed after changes)
The Error log is below:

Hi,
I would look at the account properties for that account (89920000) and see the TopCustom1...4Member. You will find the reason behind the invalid cells.
When you convert the local dimensions to shared, have you checked the 'Dimension Association' for Accounts and Entitities?
It does seem to lose the dimension association if a proper sequence is not followed.

With this component it was my intention to make a more "terse" version of the LabVIEW Flatten to XML VI that was also supported on RT and that gave the user more flexbility regarding the structure of the parsing type definition. I think you are right that the XML parser is not compliant to section 2.11 of the XML spec. The parser does specifically looking for a #D#A and this appears to be an oversight on my part. Please confirm for me, the specifcation is saying that the XML parser should be able to recognize three possibilities as an "end of line" character: #D#A, #D, or #A. Am I reading this right?There are more efficient (and in some cases much more efficient) ways of sharing data between LabVIEW and LabVIEW: some examples are flattened binary strings and the datalog binary format. XML is slower than these optons but the upside is that it is human readable. Furthermore XML is inherently hierarchical which is convenient for complex data structures like clusters of arrays of clusters, etc. If you don't care about human readability then you are correct XML doesn't make as much sense.I will return to the GXML source code and try to fix this in the near future but I would hope that instead of creating yet another custom VI from scratch that you could reuse what I have provided for you. I included enough documentation in the source code so that users could make some modificiations themselves. The target application for this reference library was LabVIEW to LabVIEW communication. As such I documented the schema on the dev zone document from a LabVIEW perspective. It includes all the supported datatypes and all the supported data structures (cluters, arrays, multidimensional arrays, clusters of multidimensional arrays, etc.) I do see some value in making a more conventional XML spec but the time investment required didn't really line up with my intended use case. Nope still nothing going incognito, or doing it through different browsers. I guess the other thing is a an online picture editing program told me I needed to update my flash, so I tried to install it several time but am not sure if it actually did. Now some video players (that had previously worked) command me that I need a newer version of Flash. What happened?

Flash xml data loading and unloading specs

hi i am trying to get specification information that i cannot
find anywhere else.
i am working a large flash project
and i would like to load xml data into the same swf
object/movieclip repeatedly.
as i do not want the previously loaded items to unload i need
to know if doing this will unload the items from the swf or just
keep them in the library so they can be reposted without reloading.
i cannot find any supporting documenation either way that
tells me that if i load new content into a clip (i am aware
levels overwrite) if it will or will not unload this content.

this is awful for me -- i cant even get the clip to duplicate
-- and i thought this would be the simplest solution to keeping
everything cached for one page before and one page after current in
the project.
i have used a simpler clip to test the code and see if i am
insane.

ie all i do is change _root.circle to _root.cur
and .... nada.
AND _root.cur IS DEFINITELY on the screen and all xml
components have been loaded into it. (it is a slide with a dynamic
picture and dynamic type and it 100% works)

Custom Map in flash using XML data for dynamic map and point of intrest loading...

Been some time since I have used Flash for anything...
I'm working on a little project to dynamically build a map
and set points of interest on the map. At this time I have the
(mySQL) data being queried and formatted with PHP and pushing the
data to Flash as XML.
In starting the project I'm a bit lost... I mean I have my
data and a good XML format but as it is I'm lost on parsing the
data in Flash and assigning its values to movie clips or other...
I've looked at the Loader Component and the XML Connector
Component and find I can get that to work at all...
My second though was to create a single movie clip on stage
and give it an instance name of "Background" and have it load the
URL of an image given in the attached XML doc... Node "a_zone" and
the value given to attribute "image"... But this brings me back to
square one of not quite understanding Flash and parsing XML... With
this second idea I would use AS to create a movie clip, set it's X
& Y cords and load an image to it based on the XML attributes
listed in the "Gatherable" node (one for each node).
Any suggestions, examples or related info is welcome...

2nd Layer: movieclip with the instance name "currentPicture"
The image loads into "currentPicture" from the URL given in
the XML "a_zone" node attribute "image" just fine....
But I'm not able to grab the attributes of each "Gatherable"
node it seems... am I missing something or just not pointing to the
right node?

Data Loading issues in PSA and Infocube

Hi team,
i am loading data into PSA and from there into info cube via a DTP,
when i load data into PSA all 6000 records are transfered to PSA and process is completed sucessfully,
When i execute the DTP to load data into info cube the data load process is completed sucessfully but when i observe
the "manage" tab i see
"Transferred 6000 || Added Records 50"
i am not able to get as why only 50 records are loaded into infocube and if some records are rejected where can i find them and the reason for that,
kindly assist me in understanding this issue,

The records would have got aggregated based on common values.
if in source u had
custname xnumber kf1

after aggregation u will have
custname                kf1
R                            300
S                           200
if u do not have xnumber in your cube.

Flash and XML help : (

Hi all
bit of a newbie, so probably quite easy if you know how:eek:
would anyone beable to help with sorting out an XML file, what I have is a tooltip that loads in via XML and exported from flash. the XML loads in 2 text fields, field and field2.
what I am trying to do is add a button also to the tooltip so that you can click and go to a url.
would anyone beable to help with this.

Using a SQL data source and XML data source in the same template

I am trying to develop a template for the Request for Quote report generated in Apps 11.5.10. I have loaded the data from the XML output into the template, but I am missing one field - I need the org_id from the po_headers table. Is it possible to use a sql data source (i.e., "select org_id from po_headers_all where po_header_id = [insert header_id from xml data]...") in addition to the xml data source to populate the template at runtime? When you use the Insert > SQL functionality is it static at the time the template is created, or does it call to the database at runtime? I've looked through all the docs I could find, but this isn't clear.

Thats a tough one ... if you go custom with a data template you will at least get support on the data template functionality ie you have a problem when you try and build one. You will not get support on the query inside the data template as you might have gotten with the Oracle Report, well you could at least log a bug against development for a bad query.
Eventually that Oracle Report will be converted by development anyway, theres an R12 project going on right now to switch the shipped OReports to data templates. AT this point you'll be fully supported again but:
1. You have to have R12 and
2. You'll need to wait for the patch
On reflection, if you are confident enough in the query then Oracle will support you on its implementation within a data template. Going forward you may be able to swap out your DT and out in the Oracle one without too much effort.

Inventory data load issue

HI all,
We have 2 source system SAP4.7 and ECC6.0. I am using 3 data source BX, BF and UM.
one year data we required from SAP4.7 and all data from ECC6.0.
In SAP4.7 totally 7 years data available but we required only last one year. my doubt is if i extract last one year data weather in my report OPENING STOCK and CLOSING STOCK show correctly?
- SAP4.7 closing stock will be opening stock in ECC6.0 like the manner they will upload in source system.
Getting data from two source system, what is the extraction steps i have to follow.
Kindly give me yr suggestion.

Hi,
First you need to make sure the closing stock of R/3 4.7 is matching with the ECC 6.0 opening stock. It should be same, usually when the data cut over happens this will be addressed. you can cross check the same using T code - MB5B / MB52 etc.
When you load the data using BX source, it is a full load one, it will be pulling the data for as on date. So it will be brining the data only from the ECC 6.0 system being connected and there wont be any issue with the data.
BF - will bring the material movement, which is needed if you need to see the historic data. So do the loading in the normal manner. Split the load depending up on the data volume. While doing the set up table activity in 4.7 select only the needed period. do the same for the UM data source also.
While setting up the delta, do it only for 6.0.
