FMS error with Adobe Connect server

I have a Adobe Connect server that freezes often.  When it is hard rebooted, I see "FMS_CON_BROKEN" error and since FMS is broken, the health check fails and the server hangs.  Is there a fix or at least a place to look for an exact issue?  I have this on Windows 2003 Sp2 .

The server shouldn't have issues with streaming multiple Presenter courses. Each server is designed to handle upto 500 concurrent connections, so if you have more than 500 students trying to access the presentation at the same time, you will likely see issues. If that is not the case, then you may have a firewall issue or something else causing the issue. Do you have any Anti-virus runing on the Server? Have you looked at the Logs to see if there is any insight there as to what happened?

I have a problem with Adobe ColdFusion Server Manager when you log on and connect to the server. An advantage of the settings do not load.

the Errors View button display’s the yellow ! sign. Without a better guide I just thought that is a normal button icon until I noticed Charlie comment earlier in the thread and I thought hold up that is not normal.
As it is when I press Errors View I get “no error” which might be because there is none or just simply not giving meaningful details as per some other CF Server Manager limitations previously noticed in other threads on forum here.
I just hope some of that helps the original post to do with the display of the settings on left side. Maybe a better look at the error might help? Does anything get logged in CFadmin UI > Debugging & Logging > Log Files that relates to issue?

  • Has anybody integrated Shoretel conferencing with Adobe Connect?

Has anyone integrated ShoreTel audio conferencing with Adobe Connect? If so, I would love some tips on how to do it.

James, I'm interested in this topic as well! I am not an IT person, just a user. I have Tech Support who are dealing with this. We have integrated our Shortel system 99.9% with Connect, but for some reason we can't get the DTMF to send properly. Very frustrating! Adobe has provided some assistance. Adobe wanted the SIP information (SIP IP adddress, username and password) which we set up; but my IT folks needed the correct ports that Connect wanted. This is what they sent me:
    Below are the ports you
need to open to make FMG talk to your SIP server:
    2222 - HTTP
    8506 - RTMP
Flash Media Gateway to Internet   SRC-IP=<Server-IP>,
    SRC-PORT=5060, DST-IP=ANY, DST-PORT=5060
Internet to Flash Media Gateway   SRC-IP=ANY, SRC-PORT=5060, DST-IP=<(>
    <<)>Server-IP>, DST-PORT=5060
Flash Media Gateway to Internet   SRC-IP=<Server-IP>,
    SRC-PORT=5000_TO_6000, DST-IP=ANY, DST-PORT=ANY_HIGH_END
Internet to Flash Media Gateway   SRC-IP=ANY, SRC-PORT=ANY_HIGH_END,
    DST-IP=<Server-IP>, DST-PORT=5000_TO_6000
    Maybe this will help?

  • Live Video streaming with Adobe Media Server

    Problem:
I have 10mbit up/down internet connection. I will do video streaming a live meeting to around 350-400 live watchers
So i can't use regular streaming to all watchers. Then each user will have 3kb/sec rate which is a terrible speed.
    Solution:
here what I understand about Multicasting.
I have a dedicated server with 1gbit dedicated port.
I will only stream my video to dedicated server and the watchers will be getting data directly from dedicated server which have 1gbit port.
Can I do this with adobe media server?

    Hi
You can refer the following documentation around multi point publishing:

  • Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.1

I have installed Identity Manager 9.1.0.2 (patch upgraded from 9.1.0.1) on OEL 5.3 64bit and Weblogic 10.3.1
    Database:Oracle 11gR2 (remote machine).
**I am aware that IM 9.1.0.2 is not certified on Weblogic 10.3.1 (it is only certified on 10.3),
The installation was successful and OIManager is up and running. Able to create Users, Resources etc. as well.
As part of configuring OIM Connectors tried to Import .xml file using Import option from Deployment Management section as below and the following error was displayed.
"Either your session timed out or you are trying to access a page without logging in".
Did all workarounds like enabling java, changing browsers, restarting machine etc as per the below discussion but in vain.
Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server
Can any one suggest any workaround or solution for this problem.
Or atleast can any one confirm there is no Identity manager available on this date which is compatible with 10.3.1? and cannot be continued further.
    Thanks in Advance

You are facing this issue because you're using a non certified combination.
Other folks who tried to use OIM in 10.3.1 ended up in the same problem you're facing.

  • How do I export a Keynote 09 presentation to work with Adobe Connect??

Hi - I have imported the .MOV file from keynote into Flash and then exported it as a .FLV file but the problem is that all of my 'on click' build requests have disappeared so it just plays as one continuous movie. Can anyone help me please? It seems that a .MOV file (which works perfectly with the 'on click' features) cannot be played with Adobe Connect. I really need the presentation to play with all of the 'on click' settings in place. PLEASE HELP!!! :o)

Adobe Connect does not support Apple Keynote as a file format.  Adobe Connect supports Microsoft Powerpoint format.  When you use the Share Document Pod and upload a Powerpoint presentation that file gets converted on the fly to Adobe Flash format and then is streamed to attendees in the room.  If you want to use Apple Keynote with Adobe Connect then you should use Share My Screen and use screen sharing to share exactly what you want without converting it into Flash. Adobe Connect does not support .MOV or Apple Quicktime formatted files today (release 8 and previous versions).

  • "out of memeory" error with Adobe Reader x & IE8

    Hello,
Getting an "out of memory" error with Adobe Reader X & IE8. This is a locked down bank environment so upgrading to a higher version of Adobe is out of the question.
I looked around on the web and noticed that many people are experiencing this "out of memory error" but no fix has been provided.
    Can you help?

Thanks for the reply and suggestion - unfortunately, I get this error when I open Adobe Reader X itself in addition to launching a pdf within IE9 (my OS is Win7x64 Ultimate).  I can launch Adobe Reader X, but when I open any kind of PDF file (local copy, remote, web, etc...) the error dialog box pops up.  Everything seems functional with Reader, it's just a frustrating (er, irritating!) thing!  I think after the weekend I will 'give up' and remove the Reader X and go back to my 'old' (but functioning!) Reader - thanks for the comment and suggestion tho!

  • Where is the location of Adobe Connect server?

Where is the location of Adobe Connect Server?
At the moment we are experiencing too much delay.
It seems that Adobe connect server is not around Korea ,Japan nor China.
    That's just my guess.
Is there any specialist who can give me the right answer for the locations of Adobe Connect server?

Depending on which cluster you have an account on they can be in a few locations in the US,  Canada (I think) or Western Europe. Adobe doesn't have a hosted cluster in APAC, so it is likely that you are seeing lag due to communications to a server in the Western US.

  • Adobe Presenter presentation won't load from Adobe Connect server.

I created a slideshow using Adobe Presenter 8. It was successfully published to our Adobe Connect server. However, when accessing it via the URL on Connect, the presentation never loads. The status wheel just spins and spins. Can you please assist us in troubleshooting this issue? Thanks.

If you extract the zip, then launch the index.htm file it should play in your browser. The viewer.swf file can work as well, but you may have needed to associate it to your browser to get it to work.
If you expereince the same behavior when playing locally, I'd suspect that Connect is not the issue.
It may be something as simple as an image on the first slide (possibly within the first three slides) that is causing the issue. You might try right clicking on the images in PPT and doing a Save Image As... and saving it as a JPG (even if it already is) and then re-inserting the image.
You can also try breaking the presentation into smaller groups of slides and publishing them untill you find the offending slide(s) and then modifying the slides to resolve the issues.

  • Which Premier Global (Premier NA) Audio product works with Adobe Connect  Pro 7.5

I am trying to set up audio conferencing on my Adobe Connect Pro 7.5 so I am able to record a discussion online.  So both myself and the participants on the call would be recorded. For my audio profiles, Premier Global (Premier NA) is set up as the participating provider.  Which Premier Global audio account is used with Adobe Connect Pro 7.5 so an Adobe Connect session using teleconferencing can be recorded?

Any PGi phone bridge should work. Just be sure you start the audio conference in the meeting, or Connect will have no knowledge of the call.

  • Wich videocamera works best with Adobe Connect Pro?

I want to buy a videcamera to import live video in my ACP sessions. Wich videocamera works great or best?

Any camera that works with Adobe Flash Player should work well with Adobe Connect. Given the number of existing products in the market, we cannot possibly test with all specific brands and models.
Some folks in the team give some guidance around this topic in a blog post at Adobe Connect supported cameras and mic. See of this helps. Do let us know what works or does not work for you, so that the community benefits from your findings.

  • High quality mic on external usb-soundcard dosen't work with Adobe Connect. Why?

    Hello
A friend of mine bought a quite good microphone and a good extrernal soundcard for recording podcasts. Everything works fine. But know she wants to use the microphone for Adobe Connect, because of the very good sound quality. Adobe Connect finds it an you can select it, but now singal comes into Adobe Connect. But it works with every other Adobe application. So why doesn't it work with Adobe Connect?
The soundcard is the Tascam US-122 Mk2. Normaly very uncomplicated ..
    Thanks for any advice!

I connect my bus-powered HDs (more than one) to the iMac all the time without any problems. I have found, though, that for me the FireWire enclosures work much better (faster and more stable) than the USB2 ones. I have had the USB2 drives freeze my computer once or twice when I connected the HD, but nothing like that has ever happened with the FireWire connections. (I switched the same disk from USB to a FireWire enclosure, so all other elements were kept constant in my experiments.)
One of my HD is in a MacAlly 2.5" enclosure that offers both FireWire and USB2. The other one is in some generic enclosure with only USB2. Both are bus-powered and both work fine.
