Follow up action 14 Inspection Type- Equipment status change

could anyone tell me which follow up action for 14 inspection type is to be bought into for changing Equipment Availablity status to Non Availability status when I reject calibration lot for that particular equipment.

    Thanx for promp reply. i have tried to assign these functional module in followup actions but system throwing en error . it's given below -
    Function module QFDL_INIT_NOTIFICATION does not have E_SUBRC parameter
    Message no. QM403
    Diagnosis
    The interface of the function module you entered is not compatible with the interface of the sample function module.
    Procedure
    Check the function module and add the missing parameters to the interface.
    suggest how to proceed.

  • Auto status change after UD

    Hi Guys
    I have one requirement which is as described below:
    Calibration schedule is being prepared for vernier with the help of maint plan. But while doing UD the requirement is that if UD code is "cannot be used" then the vernier should be locked by system for further use.
    I have made use of follow up action for that and a pop up appears while saving UD where the fields stated are object, description of object, present status of object and status required, but all are greyed out. How can i change the status to locked?
    Please provide inputs if anybody has done the same thing.

    the equipment status changing is depend on the result you recorded and the valuation done ,it is not based on usage decision .
    After making the result recording ,while saving system will prompt you with message for valuation ,whether it is accepted or not ,where you have to specify your requirement ,and while making usage decision system will promt you with the message as current status and status required where there will be option to change ,if you want ,kindly mark the change button or else leave it

  • Inspection type problem

    Hi Sap Gurus,
    I copied 01 inspection type to Z013 inspection type and followed the following procedure. But while posting MIGO inspection lot is not getting created and stock is updating in unresticted use stock. But same material with 01 inspection type inspection lot is getting created. I donot know where i did the mistake. Is there any setting in MM of this?
    Procedure followed:
    1) Assigned inspection type in material master with active key
    In customization I maintained the following procedure
    1) Maintain task list usage - SPRO> QM> Quality Planning > Inspection Planning> General> Define task list usages
    2) Maintain inspection type - SPRO> QM> Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Processing > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain inspection types (for eg Z013) -  maintain the task list usage here
    3) Maintain Quality inspection lot origins and assign inspection types - SPRO> QM > Inspection Lot Processing > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain inspection lot origins and assign inspection types
    4) Define default values for inspection type - SPRO > QM> Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Processing > Inspection Lot Creation > Define default values for inspection type

    Hi,
    It has got nothing to do with the MM settings. Please try the following : 
    1.Set Preferred Inspection Type
    In the QM view of the Material Master, tick the Preferred Inspection Type Check box for Inspection   Type  Z013.
    2.Set Default Inspection Type
    In Spro --> QM --> Q.Inspection --> Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types. For Lot 01,Var 01 ( Default Inspection Type Variant 01 ) for the Z013 Inspection type you have created.
    The reason behind this is that the system must determine which inspection type to use from -
    Default inspection type
    Preferred inspection type
    If you set the indicator for the preferred inspection type, but the corresponding indicator for activating the inspection type is not set, the system uses the default inspection type
    If the indicator for the preferred inspection type is not set and several inspection types are active in the material master, the system uses the default inspection type.
    Besides this; cross check following points:
    1. Spro --> QM --> Q.Inspection --> Maintain Inspection Type : Exact copy of Inspection Type 01
    2. Spro --> QM --> Q.Inspection --> Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types. Include Z013 in the Inspection types for the Origin 01
    3. Spro --> QM --> Q.Inspection --> Define Default value for inspection Type. Include Z013 as a copy of 01
    4. In spro --> QM --> QM in Logistic --> QM in Procurement -->Define control Key
    Check the Control key which is assigned the QM view of MM.It should not have Control key as 9999 which has GR Inspection Control as "Do not create Inspection Lot"
    5. Check the Q- Info Record, check if due to Exisiting QM system is flagged for no Inspection
    6. Check for Self Certified QM systems assigned Q-Info Record in spro --> QM --> QM in Logistic --> QM in Procurement --> Define QM Systems  (Tick as Certified Systems requiring no Inspection)

  • Changing the status of Equipment in a follow up action

    Hi All,
               I have a requirement in which a function module will be triggered for a particular Follow up action.
    In this FM we have to determine the equipment and the Maintenance Order , if both are available , status of the equipment
    should change to 'A' , status of maintenance - order = 'Technically completed' and Maintenance Notification = 'Notification Completed' .
    How can this be done.? I am able to change the status of Maintenance order and notification but can anyone help me in
    determining the equipment and changing its status to 'A'. ?

    Hi Gajesh,
                     The process is as follows :
    1) During Calibration of a product,depending on the technician's User decision , 3 follow up actions are created.
    2) Each follow up action has one FM associated with it, which is customised in      SPRO > Display IMG > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Completion > Define follow-Up Action .
    3) In the first case ( first Follow up action when the inspection is successful) the first FM is triggered. In this FM we have to perform the following steps :
                                   a) Determine the Maintenance Order and the equipment.
                                   b) Incase both are available, status of equipmnt should be changed to 'A',
                                       Maintenance Order should be changed to 'Technically completed' and
                                       Maintenance Notification to 'Notification Completed' .

  • Follow-up action : please help - Inspection Lot related

    Hi,
    I am having the following trouble:
    Through MB02, a printout is generated to the local printer (LOCL).
    However, through QA11, when we save, we have a custom follow-up action attached that pops-up a
    dialog screen.
    The follow up action is triggered when a usage decision is changed for the inspection lot.
    The follow-up action (configured in IMG) calls a Function Module and a screen, which in turn populates
    a value into a custom DB table (based on the buttons, on the screen, sending either to LOCL or to a
    zebra printer).
    Now, what has to happen is that after inserting the value into a custom table, it should also open a sapscript and output.
    The Sapscript and print program are there, with the print program being created 3-4 years ago by someone
    else. However, even though we have code in the print program to update nast, in turn creating a message
    for output (1st the custom DB table is checked to see if the values match, MATNRCHARG), It does not update
    NAST. When we go through MB02, it does, but this should happen automatically after selecting one of the radio
    buttons on the original pop-up & selecting print.
    Please help. I don't know what to do and can't enable a debugger from the pop-up and if going though QA11,
    I can't get it to stop inside the print program (only inside the custom FM).

    After completing billing, thro the action I am changing service order user status as completed. i hv written my code in class method.
    After billing as action runs my code from method execute and changes the status properly and gets save into system but action status shows incorrectly processed and comes in red colour in action monitor. following is my code   plz help me

    Are you processing status codes out of sequence?  Talk to your functional specialist or look at the status config for these documents...sounds like you're going to completed without first setting a status code that would have to be there prior to your status code...I seem to recall doing status changes for these documents that were a multi-step process...set TECO, then CLOSED or something like that?

    Create a new action - called "OnLeave (with Pay) " use the status - Active and if required create another action OnLeave (Without pay) with inactive status.
    Its not required to create new status.If required you explore the STAT3 or STAT1. Recommended to use the standard employement status - STAT2 or max you can go for STAT3.
    As per best practice, I recommend you to create another action called - Reporting back from Leave.

    When using the standard SAP customer returns process an inspection lot is automatically created. Can this inspection lot type 06 be changed to allow stock to transferred to u201CUnrestrictedu201D or u201CBlockedu201D stock in a similar way as inspection lot type 01.

    Hi,
    Go to MM02, QM view, here deactivate inspection Type "06" and activate Inspection Type "05" i.e. Inspection for other goods receipt
    And then go to Schedule line category of Return sales (For e.g. DN ) in VOV6 and assign the movement type as 655 instead of 653 and then run the complete new cycle and check.

    For indivial material you can change it from MM02 . ( Select Insp.setup under Quality Management view) and again choose for Create new Inspection Type
    For  multiple or mass change MM17

    when i am doing  ud in qa11 that there is compulsary a USER STAUS must be QAA Aprroval by QA manager if user staus is QCNA not approvewd by QA manager then it gives error for user status changes must be compulsary.
        so where we can change that user status of .I have a one option in qa02 is there any another options.

    If you want to manualy change the status in QA11, you can change there itself. Near to the user status there is a change where you can change the user status ( Set status button - tick and change button)

  • Change Inspection typ and keep inspection stage of dynamic modification

    Hello,
    Our QC departement splitted into 2 departments and each got their own materials to check.
    Now both material groups will get a different inspection typ B and C instead of the old insp Typ A.
    We use dynamic modification rules and all materials have their inspection stages based on vendor and insp. typ. There is only 1 plant.
    When I assign a new insp. typ B or C to a material the next inspection lot of course will generate a new record in QDQL starting with the lowest insp. stage. But I need the last stage of the old insp typ A!
    Copies of records A to B and C in QDQL are not so easy because vendor and inspTyp are not part of the key and SAP uses a counter instead.
    Any ideas how to get the old insp. stages to the new insp types in the quality level?

    Well, then youmight consider to rethink if this approach is the best option, as you can see that it limits your way of modifying your processes. If one time you have ten different departments you would need ten different inspection types...for one inspection lot origin. This then would even increase if we think of different lot origins (returns, recurring inspection, ....).

    If user give UD as 'not good' for Equipment (eg Vernier Caliper) then he has to set delete flag for maintenance plan no and Equipment no through IP02 and IE02 respectively
    now he want that, above delete flag should set automatically after giving UD so particular maintenance plan or equipment should not release in future.
    I got one follow up action 'QM_PM' in transaction QS51 due to this after giving UD for Inspection lot, plan get technically complete (TECHO)

    i got one solution on which i am working
    Steps:
    1.The solution is to use the User Exit namely QEVA0010 and use the logic as mentioned below.
    2. Test and use the above mentioned user exit.
    3. The first condition should be checked for Inspection Type - 14 and for UD code NG.
    4.Logic to be used To set the deletion flag for the Equipment.
       Go to Table QAPP - Pass inspection lot Number and get the Equipment no.
       Go to Table EQUI - Pass Equipment no and get OBJNR  
    Go to Table JEST - Pass the Objnr - The value for deletion flag status is active is I0076 and the value for deletion  flag inactive is I0320.
       In order to set the deletion Flag,use help of FM - STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN to code.
    5.Logic to be used To set the deletion flag for the Maintenance Plan.
    Go to Table QALS - Pass inspection lot no and get the order no.
    Go to Table AFIH - Pass order no - Get maintenance Plan.
    Go to Table MPLA - Pass the maintenance plan and get the Objnr no.
    JEST - Pass the Objnr - The value for deletion flag status is active is I0076 and the value for deletion flag inactive is I0320.
      In order to set the deletion Flag,use help of FM - STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN to code.
