Foreign Trade Reporting

Hello
We have a requirement to create two customs related reports out of SAP
1. The Foreign Trade Zone report-a report of all items entering and leaving the Foreign Trade Zone over a month
2. The Pedimento report-a report of all duties owed to the Mexican government based on items entering and leaving Mexico over the course of a week.
I can see in SAP's Foreign Trade Module the ability to create Intrastat and Extrastat reports for the EU, but neither of the above reports are standard in the module. I also cannot see a way of using the module to create the reports-so that they do not have to be entirely custom built. Does anyone have experience with Foreign Trade that can advise on the creation of customs related reporting? It should be noted that we do not have Global Trade Service.
Thanks

You have a couple of possibilities here. If you want your SD DataSources for billings and deliveries to have this data, you can append the fields needed to the extract structure and create a User Exit for those respective DataSources through CMOD to lookup on the EIKP and EIPO tables. The other choice would be to create generic DataSources for each table, or if possible create a view of these two tables and create one generic DataSource from that view.

  • Z5A German Foreign Trade Report and company currency not Euro

We recently create a German company with USD as local currency and group currency, Euro being only the third currency.
There is an issue with the German foreign trade regulation reports (Z5E - RFAWVZ5A) that is a legal report for the authorities and that normally distinguishes postings made in Euro from those done in another currencies.
As the local currency of the company is the US dollar, all the postings whatever the currency of the posting is are in the samee column 888, there is nothing in the column 899.
Do you know how it would be possible to get the right result, postings in Euro in the column 888 and other postings in column 899 even if the company currency is not the Euro??
    thanks in advance

    Hi,
You have the answer in the following forum thread:
Re: Changing Currency of one Company
The best way is in fact to create a new entity and then operate all steps mentioned in this thread.
Not very complicated, but you should test that on your test environment first, or at least backup all your records, in order to safe-guard the process.
    Hope this will help.

  • Foreign Trade: Balance of payment report for Belgium RFIDITSR00

    Hi,
I have done customizing settings for the balance of payment report of Belgium (report RFIDITSR00)
    according to OSS note 928316.
When I want to create a file with file name "ITSR_BE_BOP2006" and extension CSV, I get following message:
Format tree ITSR_BE_BOP2006_XML does not exist for tree type ITSR
    Message no. DMEE_ABA003
In table IDITSR_DMEE_V I have defined:
    Reporting cat: S03CCR
    Format tree: ITSR_BE_BOP2006_CSV
What else do I need to customize to get the file created?
    Thank you for your advice.
    Kind regards,

    Hi,
in the copy control between order and invoice you need to set the 'determine export data' to 'B' so that it will be redetermined in the invoice. After that the relevant foreign trade userexits will work as well.

  • Z4 report Foreign trade regulations  - S_ALR_87012405

    Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you could give me some hint of why Z4 report Foreign trade regulations  - S_ALR_87012405 does not show any data.
i have posted a FI invoice with SCB indicator from foregin country and get it paid. Even though I maintained the link of GL account with house bank, populate SCB data in house bank, activate the field status for both field status group and posting key, the report does not show any data at all.
What would be the possible missing setting to show the data in  Z4 report Foreign trade regulations  - S_ALR_87012405 report?
Thanks in advance for your advice
    Kind regards
    taro

The reason of report RFAWVZ40 does not display the results seems to be
    explained in note 204372
If the selection option for "Do not report st. cent. bank i" is empty,
the system classifies all state central bank indicators as not
reportable in accordance with common logic with selection options. So
the system does not create a message.
    Also check the following information:
'Clearing document type", this parameter is intended for a special
purpose (i.e. for certain document types which should not be regarded
as payment document), however for the "usual" case of reporting the
payments in Z4 this parameter should have the default value 'ZZ'.
Otherwise all document types will be processed in this special logic so
    that no item is reported.

  • Foreign Trade Declarations Step 5 - AP Invoices aren't reported

    Hi Experts,
I hope you're all well.  I'm hoping you can help me with an Intrastat issue I have please.
I have noticed that AP Invoice transactions only appear in Step 6 of the Foreign Trade Declarations report if I populated AP Invoice VAT Code with VAT Code E2 which is defined as Input Tax and the EU box is ticked.
If I create an AP Invoice with the VAT code I1 then the transaction doesn't appear on Step 6 of the Foreign Trade Declarations report.  VAT Code I1 is set up as Input Tax but the EU box is not ticked for this VAT code.
Is this correct SAP behaviour please or am I doing something wrong?
    Many thanks for any information.

    Hi,
Check the Tolerance days in the payment run defaults. Take the days as zero and run the payment wizard.
In 2005 version available under following path :
Banking Module > Payment Wizard > Payment Run Default > Tolerance days.
    In 2007 version :
Administration > Setup > Banking > Payment Run Defaults.

  • Z4 report Foreign trade regulations SCB indicator (central bank key)

    hello all,
i was wondering what is triggering the Z4 report Foreign trade regulations report?
Is it the SCB indicator (central bank key)?
If an invoice is missing that indicator, could it be that the report shows no output?
You can find the indicator in FB03, go to the line item of the vendor, 'more data' tab.
Actually the indicator is triggered in MIRO from materials management.
If the indicator is missing, can it be inserted through another transaction code? I have tried in FB02 but the central bank key indicator isn't changeable...
    Regards,
    Pamela

    Hi Pamela Mungur,
I came across your thread in SDN regarding Z4 report, I am very greatful if you share your experience on below point:
      1. Is SCB indicator always need to input while posting Invoices (MM or SD) or Can we  input while posting Payment also.
    2. How can we Ensure, user always enter SCB in transaction data, as i cannot make it as mandatory at Field status definition level.
    3. I unable to find the Field to input SCB value while creating invoice through SD module.
Thanks in advance for your valuable time and effort. Please feel to ask to create new thread if required.
    Thanks...Venkat

  • Foreign trade for free of charge purchase orders

    Hello
    Scenario:
My company imports tobacco leaf into GB from a different company based in BE, and my company processes the leaf in GB and sends it back to BE. We never own the leaf, and we only charge the BE company a price for the service we provide.
A purchase order is created for a non valuated material master with 'non-valuated GR' account assignment J and no invoice receipt. Foreign trade data such as commodity code either defaults from material master or is manually entered by PO creator.
There is no pricing procedure and therefore no GRWR condition value and the statistical value field in the 'declara./values' tab is greyed out. This causes an entry on Intrastat with a zero value, which is incorrect, as we should declare the statistical value of the goods for customs purposes.
Aside from adding a value in VEFU and then creating the report using VE33, what ideas do you have for how I could get a statistical value on this PO?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Can just think of a wild work around...well instead of marking the items as free, put in a value and also put in an equal amount of discount. Which will negate the value of the item.
I dont knw if that will be acceptable by your client..but it is a work around never the less...
    Take care..
    Osayed.

  • Foreign Trade / Intrastat - data order-related billing (downpayments)

    Hi,
Shortly we have implemented the down payment functionality in our flows. Because downpayments require order-related billing the intrastat/foreign trade data is not copied into the closing invoice.
Apparently it is only possible to copy the data from a delivery.
We are in a make-to-order environment and we still create deliveries but because of the down payments, the invoice is created from the sales order and hence no intrastat data is copied which ofcourse is required ...
Can't find a suitable user exit for filling this data into the billing document. Also tried using copy data transfer (vofm) filling up tables eikp and eipo but that didn't work.
The only option open for me at the moment is creating a proforma invoice automatically from the delivery. This document can then be included in the intrastat reporting.
    Is there another solution ?
    with regards

    Hi,

  • Add a view to the IMG  for Foreign trade declaration Belgium

    Hi,
I need to make the customising settings for the new report "Foreign trade declartation for Belgium".
    This is report RFIDITSR00.
In SAP note 928316 I see which steps I need to carry out.
However, the node "Belgium" is not shown in the Implementation Guide.
Can I add it via transaction SIMGH and S_IMG_EXTENSION?
    Can you please advise?
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Linda

    Hi,
    Yes you can.
But do create it as a new Z IMG structure.  The reason being that when a support pack or an upgrade is done, this will not be overwritten. However, if you do chose to create in an exisiting structural node, you will need to insert it back again after an support pack upgrade, from SPDD/SPAU.
    Cheers.

  • No accounting document generated (foreign trade data incomplete)

    hello all,
I meet a problem like this:
    Sales order: 1001
    delivery: 2001
    Invoice: 3001
another invoice 9001 has created for cancel 3001.
when we saveed 9001, no accounting document generated, but we were not cognizant of it. and we did VF09 reverse PGI, VL02 delete delivery 2001.
now the problem is: when we try to release invoice 9001 to accounting, a message occurs "Document 9001 has been saved (foreign trade data incomplete)"
it seems need data of delivery 2001, but it has been deleted.
can anyone please give me suggestions? thanks!

    Diagnosis
The billing document you have edited contains foreign trade data. These

This means that the document cannot be transferred to accounting (FI).
    System Response
        The system issues a message.
    Procedure
Maintain the incomplete foreign trade data. Then you can transfer the
        billing document to accounting (FI).

    Hai Laxmipathi,
As the issue addressed by Mu_ying, exactly even I have encountered the same error. I am working on Export Scenario where in created a billing doc and saved (without foreign trade data) but later its cancelled and subsequent delivery doc is also cancelled but when i release the cancelled billing doc error pops up as "foreign data incomplete" but doc no. is saved, as mentioned by Mr. Mu_ying mail.
However, in my case when i try change in VF02 item level for foreign trade/customs tab (change for the cancelled doc) the radio buttons for System is RED, and I am unable to enter the data as all the fields are greyed out, due to this reports figures are incorrect.  Hope u r able to get what i have mentioned.
i/p's will be of great help.

  • Foreign trade / Customs info

    Hello experts,
I have a problem with billing split. The scenario is the following:
I have created a purchasing organization that belongs to a society called UMA. This purchasing organization has a plant (UMC) without any warehouse (at the moment, it will be only used to create third party orders).
The customization of the plants and materials involved in this problem are:
Plant UMC: Located (customized) in France (belongs to UMA society)
Plant POC: Located (customized) in Spain (belongs to POA society)
Material JT11: Material  type: Third party. Created at POC plant. Source country ES (material master).
Material INSTALATIONED: Material type: Third party. Created at UMC plant. Source country FR (material master).
The sales order is created as follows:
Sales order created at UMA sales organization (that belongs to UMA society). The “ship to party” and “sold to party” are the same and both are French (Customer country: FR).
The sales order has two items:
Material JT11, the plant has been determined as POC
Material INSTALATIONED, the plant has been determined as UMC
At the moment, all seems correct. The next steps are:
    Confirm sales order. (OK)
Purchase order of the materials (OK) (each one thought the corresponding purchasing organization, in function of its plants)
    Good receipt (OK)
Billing (from the sales orders). (PROBLEM).
The bill is made from the sales order (UMA organization). The billing process splits in two. The split analysis is the following:
    (from  SAP)
    Split analy.
Split due to different header data
    Fld Name                        $000000001           $000000002
    Export indicator                Y
Number of foreign trade data i  0000086130
The first position (JT11 material that belongs to Spanish plant, POC) contains foreign trade / Customs information. On the other hand, the second item (INSTALLATIONED material that belongs to French plant, UMC) does not contain any information about foreign trade / Customs.
The question is: Is it possible to avoid the bill being split in two and still save the information related to foreign trade / Customs (otherwise the Intrastate would not work)?
I tried to modify the copy control (between sales order and bill), but the splitting is only avoided when the foreign trade / Customs information is lost (changing the header field Determ.export data to null. It was A).
Thank you very much for your help and  attention.
    Ricard.

  • Commodity codes for foreign trade

Hi. I am a FICO support analyst but am currently trying to support SDMM as well while we are recruiting a new support analyst for those modules, so this isn't my area of expertise. We use ECC6. FI, CO, SD, MM, and COPA (costing based) for reporting.
I have been asked to set up a new commodity code for a product and country (Plywood from Brazil) we haven''t imported from before. So far I have:
Found an ICN for Plywood of the correct type
And (just in Dev so far):
Defined a commodity code length for Brazil in the IMG -  IMG > S&D > Foreign Trade/Customs > Basic Data for Foreign Trade > Length of Commodity code/Import Code Number
Defined the commodity code for the material, with correct country, code and UOM of M3) in the IMG - IMG > S&D > Foreign Trade/Customs > Basic Data for Foreign Trade > Define Commodity Codes/Import Code Numbers by Country
Is there anything else I need to do?

  • Foreign trade data in SD

    Hi experts,
There is a need of reporting on foreign trade data in SD.
    In R/3
According to my knowledge foreign trade data present in table EIKP and EIPO. when I see in document level of SD delivery and billing, I find that the corresponding foreign data comes from Material Master records.
Now I don't find EIKP and EIPO tables fields(like commodity code, office of exit, mode of transport) for Material Master data in BW as well as in R/3. Even I don't find that Material master data is based on these tables?
How can I extract the foreign trade data from ECC to BW?
    Can anyone help me?
    Rakesh

You have a couple of possibilities here. If you want your SD DataSources for billings and deliveries to have this data, you can append the fields needed to the extract structure and create a User Exit for those respective DataSources through CMOD to lookup on the EIKP and EIPO tables. The other choice would be to create generic DataSources for each table, or if possible create a view of these two tables and create one generic DataSource from that view.

  • Foreign Trade VX99 functionality

    Hi all,
I am in desperate need to understand the standard Foreign Trade section in a 4.7 system (main t-code VX99).  Would like to use this to help us comply with ITAR requirements but I am totally unfamilar with this area in SAP.
Does anyone have any advice how I could learn more about this or where I could go to have someone do a WebEx demo of it's functionality??
Thank you in advance for any consideration.
    Paul

    Dear Paul,
The SAP Foreign Trade/Customs component will enable you to successfully expand your international competitive position and prepare yourself for future developments in foreign trade.
SAP Foreign Trade offers you the following core functions:
Use of all import and export processes and efficient integration in the logistics chain
Automatic checking of export licenses on the basis of current regulations
Simplified reporting with automatic procedures for creating, printing, and submitting messages
Identification of the products for preference processing
Efficient handling of business processes using EDI communications
For further information, see also the R/3 online documentation. Accessibility of foreign trade data from all relevant SAP components
    VX99:
On the Foreign Trade: Cockpit screen, choose Gen. Processing (Ctrl + Shift + F1).
On the Foreign Trade: General Foreign Trade Processing screen, choose: Environment -> Maintain User Data (or Shift + F6). From here, you can call up Customizing for Transaction FTUS ("Foreign Trade: Control table: User-dependent settings").
    Choose New entries (F5).
Choose Default data on the New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen. The system then proposes an object name.
Set the radio button on the initial screen to Enjoy.
    Choose Save.
The following activities must be completed by the foreign trade expert each day:
The foreign trade expert must check whether the goods may be exported to the country or customer in question.
The foreign trade expert must use the export invoices to determine which foreign trade data is required for customs (for example, customs office, mode of transport, procedure, commodity code (rating of materials), calculation of the statistical value etc.).
The foreign trade expert may have to check whether the materials listed in the export invoice are preference authorized (create a EUR1 document).
The foreign trade expert may have to adjust the export invoice for customs, in other words, add the foreign trade data to the existing invoices.
The foreign trade specialist must print the required export documents. Export declaration, EUR1, T papers etc.
    General Foreign Trade Processing:
Day-to-day documents are checked here for completeness.
After calling up transaction vx99, enter the required data on the Foreign Trade: Cockpit screen. Choose General Foreign Trade Processing (transaction en99).
Potential errors with regard to the "Incompletion log":
Description of errors: "The statistical value of the document item is zero."
This error occurs when a price does not exist for this item (PR00). This is the case, for example, with free goods or higher-level items for a batch split. Since the statistical value in the item cannot be zero for the periodic declaration to the authorities, you have to enter this value here. The statistical value is subsequently entered when the periodic declarations are processed (see SAPcolor – Foreign Trade – Periodic Declarations for details).
To call up general information on the foreign trade functionality, choose Show/suppress information (or Shift + F1).
On the Foreign Trade: General Foreign Trade Processing screen, go to the Export field on the tab Operative Cockpit.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.
