FSCM Collections mgt

Hi All,
My client in  4.6  has written a custom process to deal with "Dealer Warranty claims".  Currently the custom process  will clear multiple open items in a customers account (debits and credits) and create one open item (Post with Clearning).  If there is a balance due to the dealer, etc, they have the ability to create a clear a portion of the single open item with a payment and create a residual item that is blocked until the next pass of the custom process.
We are thinking if FSCM can be implemented to replace this custom process. What we have in mind is -
AR pushes all the open items to FSCM collection mgt by activtaing the interface and having all the config in place. By adding a column "partial payment" (to modify the pymnt amount) to customer worklist and then have a RFC connection back to F110 to make the pymnt based on the amount adjusted in worklist.
Is it possible to build a RFC connection from worklist that is Collections mgt to AP - F110 run. It is basically building from AR to AP. If yes, what would be the complexity of doing it and maintaining this way?
Please let me know how this works. We have been struggling with this for past few months.

I understand that the standard process of FSCM does not provide this. We are thinking of customizing it anyway. Now we have to decide if the customization is client As-Is process in New system or FSCM customization.
I want to know if the following customization is possible in FSCM and it's complexity -
1. AR pushes open items to FSCM Collections mgt
2. In FSCM, in Worlist under Payments tab, I can add new column "New Payment amount" which allows user to modify/adjust the actual payment
3. With enhancement, this modified amount in the Worlist should be posted back to AR as open item and remaining amount as residual item.
4. The open item will be automatically picked by F110.
For better understanding, example - if the open item sent from AR to FSCM is $100. In the "New Payment amount" column, I will enter $40 (client wants to pay only $40 to dealer for warranty). Then this $40 should be posted back as an open item in AR with $60 residual amount with blocked status.
Does this scenario work? A lot of customization and enhancement is required though, but just want to know if it works in FSCM and it's complexity of work?
I really appreciate your time and help on this. I need all your expertise in this area.

    Have you tried FLBPD1 - transaction - creating business partner from customer?
    This transaction lives only udner Treasury and Risk Management > BP > Special Functions
    BTW, have you connected in config business partner with customers? Check the settings under cross application components and in Collection Mgt.

  • FSCM Collection Management with FI-AP

    Dear SAP Experts
    I am using FSCM Collections Management with FI-AR. I have linked my customer and vendor in FI-AR & FI-AP and selected clearing between the two master records, does anyone know if it is possible to pass FI-AP data (e.g. vendor credit memos) to FSCM Collections Management so that they appear on a worklist? I cannot move Contract Accounting for various external reasons.

    Hi Simon,
    Yes you can. Please, make sure if this is vendor has the role that can be identified as it like a customer. Normally, by BP transaction you can see this role.
    The BP was used because this scenario. Since 6.0 version, the vendor can be customer and customer can be vendor by using unique code or BP number.

  • FSCM Collections - Customer Contact Result in the Worklist

    Hi Experts,
    I have implemented FSCM Collections at my client and they have a question regarding the customer contact result in the worklist.
    Indeed when one creates a customer contact and generates the worklist again (via transaction UDM_GEN_WL), it seems that the customer contact Results (code & name) disappear (regardless of the result type or settings in customizing).
    Do you know how we can prevent these data from being removed from the worklist during the worklist generation ?

    To all who that might interest: I adressed my questions to a SAP consultant and his answer was the following:
    > Regarding question 1: when the worklist is generated, why is the Last Contact Date not updated ?
    This is controlled by customizing and whether field u2018reachedu2019 is flagged or not in the u2018result codeu2019 settings. If it is flagged, the last contact time and date is updated when the work list is created.
    > Regarding question 2: when the worklist is generated, why is the Last Contact Result not updated ?
    This is the standard system behaviour and here is an explanation on why that is.
    Once you run UDM_GENWL, the customer contact result is set to blank. SAP Development rationale is the following.
    During the day, an specialist opens his/her worklist and successfully contacts the customer. The specialist chooses the result u2018customer reachedu2019 and the work item goes to the completed item list. Now the supervisor runs UDM_GENWL during the night and  a new worklist is created. The next day, the specialist accesses his/her worklist. If the result of the customer contact is not reset and still has a value u2018customer reachedu2019, the specialist may get confused and not know whether to contact the customer today or not. That is the reason why it was decided to reset the field result of customer contact when the worklist is created.
    I guess we can argue on whether it is the right design or not, but it is the standard system behaviour. Having said that, it is possible to add customer specific fields on the work list screen using BAdI UDM_WL_ITEM_DISP_C. This could be used in order to populate a custom field with the u2018customer contact resultu2019. Using FM UDM_CCT_LAST_GET you can get the last customer contact and you can use FM UDM_CCT_RESULT_PROPERTY_GET to get the description of the result code. This is rather easily done but requires some development.

    To implement SAP-FSCM Collection Management
    Is it necessary that we have all the clients in SAP-AR or we can use a legacy to feed up FSCM-Collectionu2026we have this doubt that will define if we have to replicate all the accounts receivables from the legacy in SAP or just only take the information from the Legacy.
    Please advise what should be the approach.

    Please note FSCM can receive AR data from different systems.
    You will need to create business partners in ERP for Collections Management, but you should be able to interface AR data into ERP6.

  • Create Contact Type in Create Customer contact screen of collections mgt

    Hi All,
    Can anyone please let me know if its possible to create a new contact type ( Currently we have four default types (Outbound call / Inbound Call / Visit to Customer / Visit from Customer) in the FSCM collections management, in the create customer contact screen.
    If its possible to create a new contact type, please let me know where to do that.

    You can add new contact types in the customizing table UDMV_CCT_TYPE.
    With this you would be able to select the contact types you have
    defined.
    Please note that you can create entries in this table only with the
    customer namespace i.e. prefix 'Z' to the contact type that you choose.
    e.g. if you want to create a new entry in contact type say 'TEST' then
    the entry in the customizing table should be as below:
    Contact type | Name of contact type
    Z03 | TEST
    Another point to note here would be that for each entry that you create
    in this table, the system displays 2 entries (1 for Inbound and 1 for
    Outbound) in the contact type dropdown on the customer contact screen in the collection management system. This is as per the standard design
    and it cant overridden.

  • Exclusion of Open Items FSCM COLLECTION

    Hello all:
    We are implementing FSCM Collection and we are using a Badi in the distribution of data in SAP Collections Management, which exclude items and which are reflected in the table UDM_COLL_ITEM.
    This table shows the open fact that we need to visualize, but when entering the Transaction UDM_SUPERVISOR, and analyze the Business Partener credits in option deal visualize all items.
    Anyone know how we can exclude these items and reflect what exists in the table UDM_COLL_ITEM ....?

    Cristobel has provided the best solution for you.
    Within the worklist you can filter and sort the items to include or exclude items
    Why do you want to exclude these items?
    Please note the valuation of the BP - the scoring will be against ALL customer open items.

  • Getting error when creating worklists for FSCM - Collections management

    Hi All,
    I am trying to implement FSCM - Collections Management and after all the configuration in SPRO and periodic processing in SAP easy access for transferring Accounts recievable, when I try to create Worklist i get the below error "No BP rules with BP role category UDM000 exists for partner 200"
    I have created and assigned the BP role category UDM000 to my BP rule, yet i get this error. Is there anyway I can check the assignment of the rule.
    Please help me with your thoughts in getting this error fixed.

    Ameet my final options are
    1.As deep said check the validity of the BP @ BUT 100
    2.Check your config settings one again completly
      Cross-app components>master data sync>Synchronization control (check all the settings).
       Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->define BP role for direction cust to BP(check you have assigned the group to the role).
    Cross-app components>master data sync>customer /vendor integration>bp settings>settings for cust int -->field assign for cust int >assign keys>define number assign from cust to bp (here check for the bp and cust group and same no fields).
    3.If you are running the the worklist gen by batch please check for the overlaps and the sufficient no of jobs available for processing.
    4.If your you are using ECC 6.3 or lesser version then apply the note 1134890
    5. The error may be mis-leading because the program always through the same error if there may be some other issues - so debug the pgm
    6. If every thing is fine above then write to SAP

    The main purpose of this BADI is to send fi-ar data to FSCM.
    The BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active, so When we create a customer in XD01, we are able to see that in Business Partner Tcode BP.
    Our business requiremet is to create two additional fields to the worklist for Collection Management. So we have used the method COMPLETE_DATA  which is available in BADI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS and populated additional fields which are required by the business.
    We have to execute BADI to get two additional columns in the Collections worklist, but If i execute the BADI, i am getting the message that "BAdI FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS is active". If i dont keep the BADI Active, i cant get the A/R data to FSCM.
    Please let me know what are the Pros and Cons If i setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as a background job in my current scenario to get AR-DATA into FSCM (OR) Should i have to definitely setup "FDM_COLL_SEND_ITEMS" as an Background Job.
    Please advice me how to proceed.

    Did you extend the BAdi to have additional fields sent to collections? for the fields to be available in the worklist i think there are two other BAdi's to be created. if you have figured out let me know as we are doing the same adding a couple of fields from the old credit management of SAP (FI-AR)

    In SAP Easy access of collection management current setting three T.codes - UDM_STRATEGY - Strategies , UDM_GROUP - Groups, UDM_GROUP2SGMT - Assign Groups to Segments.
    when these T.codes we are using and saving the activities system prompt customization request,  should give authorization to user?

    Hi Arun,
    The Tcodes you have mentioned are solely the function of a Collection supervisor and not team members. However, if you still want to give limited access then consider the below points for individual Tcodes -
    UDM_GROUP - Out of the 3 mentioned above, you may want to give this T-code to team members only for assigning substitute person in case somebody is absent. You can look at transaction variant (SHD0) to make other screens as display only.
    UDM_GROUP2SGMT - This is not required on a daily  basis and authorization can be left with the IT team only.
    UDM_STRATEGY - This is best handled by the Collection Supervisor or Team Lead of AR and care must be taken that there are no logical misses in the rules.

  • FSCM Collections Management

    Hello Gurus,
    Need your expert opinions. Here's the situation,
    when I run the worklist under UDM_GENWL and click on a BP to go and see the process receivables, the program is picking a single invoice and running it multiple times. While outstanding amount in the worklist is same as that of FBL5n for a customer but the document numbers do not match (ie the program UDM_GEN_WORKLIST is picking the first document number from FBL5n and running it multiple times).
    So I end up having 1 document number appearing multiple times in the worklist for a BP. Now I have searched all OSS notes and have tested it several times and I don't think I have any Config problems because I have the same config on Sandbox and it is working but it's not working in Development.
    I need some kind of breakthrough to solve this issue, help is highly appreciated.

  • FSCM- Collections UDD_GEN_Worklist Error

    I have configured Collections management and I am now trying to generate work list for the first time and I am getting an ABAP Error :
    Runtime Errors         SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
    Except.                CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    Short text
        The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.
    What happened?
        Error in the ABAP Application Program
        The current ABAP program "CL_UDM_PARALLEL_RUN===========CP" had to be
         terminated because it has
        come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    Error analysis
        An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
        The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was not caug
         in
        procedure "SAVE_PARALLEL_RUN" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a RAISIN
         clause.
        Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
        exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
        The reason for the exception is:
        If you use an ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert to insert a record in
        the database and that record already exists with the same key,
        this results in a termination.
        (With an ABAP/4 Open SQL single record insert in the same error
        situation, processing does not terminate, but SY-SUBRC is set to 4.)
    Can some one please let me know why this error and how to resolve it.

    Hi,
    It sounds like you have a conflict due to:
    1. You have a conflicting field in your worklist. Did you add any fields to your worklist that might cause the problem? This is a very common issue with adding new fields and mistakes in the coding.
    2. You have a conflict in your strategy; in this case its best to debug the strategies. Did you build a few of you own collections rules? Check that perhaps.
    Last make sure no blocked jobs are in
    3. There is a job blocking the new run; check the parallell monitor and see if there are any unprocessed jobs, delete them and run it again.

    Does sbd know is any submodule of FSCM prerequisite to implement collection menagement? Or it can be separately implemented?
    Also, is there any interface to collect data from different SAP systems?

    Hi,
    1). You can implement only FSCM module alone. Its not mandatory to have Disputes Management or Credit Management. I have implemented Collections Management alone for one of my Customer.
    2). Since IDES system is Demo system, alll modules and sub modules will be available as a standard set up. Dont think that we have to implement all sub modules to implement Collections Management
    3). No Interface Required to implement Collections Management. Once you replicate the FI-AR customers into FSCM-Collections Management and do the collections management configuration, Automatically the data will be generated in Collections Management system also. So that you can verywell proceed with the Business Process..
    Let me know if any concerns again...
