Gateway unresponsive after few days of operations

Good Day,
We are having lots of problems with the gateway in our SunOne Protal, Remote Access configuration. We use the gateway for a short period of time and after so many sessions, it just hangs when we try to login. By hanging, I mean its just unresponsive. Following is the output from netstat -a | grep 443:

Anything we are missing in the configuration or perfromance tuning? We are using some new hardware (meets the minimum requirements) and this happens on both of our gateways we have setup which one runs with Solaris 8 and the other one on Solaris 9.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

After looking at ADF source code, ApplicationModuleImpl.doCreateViewObject() is referring to JboNameUtil.getInstNameFromDefName() which is using a static counter (int value) as suffix. The counter being an int value is reaching the upper limit and then turning out to negative when incremented and then leading to above exception.
In above stack trace the instance name is ViewDefMetadataManager4569314_-2147483397 , has a negative number at the end. So JboNameUtil.isNameValid(rsName) is returning false and the exception InvalidObjNameException is thrown at that point.
If this is the case, it appeared to be ADF bug.
Have you tested the application with application module pooling turned off? It might be an activation/passivation problem.
We use bean data control, no pooling configuration set.
Do you work in a cluster environment?
Yes but ADF is installed on a single server (Weblogic)
Do you see any more nested errors in the log?
This was the first error . After that we see same error whenever any of the UI is opened but with different VO name
Is it always three days before the error does up?
This is the first time uptime test is spawned to 3 days for this release
Does the application work after a refers or new login?
No, on new login , we see same error whenever any of the UIs is opened but with different VO name with -ve number at the end
Which operating system does the server run on? How much memory is installed?
Windows server 2008 , 16GB
Was there a high cpu usage at the time of the error?
We are testing it using load runner and multiple users

    Did you Check in settings - cellular data that 3G is enabled? Menus could be named slightly different since I use iOS 6.

  • High memory utilization after few days - ciscoworks LMS 4.0.1

    I have the problem that our ciscoworks server gets out of memory after few days. The memory utilization is always getting higher an higher (above 95%). Sometimes it is only after 3 days and sometimes it is after 1 week. So it happens not regulary. Has anyone an idea what could be the problem? I have made an screenshot from the services which use a lot of memory. And at this time the memory utilization is getting higher and higher again....I think there is a problem with tomcat or dbsrv10.exe, there are also a lot of cwjava.exe running.

    I have the same problem. First time I've tried to upgrade memory from 8gb to 16gb but I am still experiencing same issues (Memory is running on 98%). I'm not sure exactly what process it is causing this issue, because when I've checked all proccesses from all users running on this server and count them there is no 15 gb at all. My guess is the same for tomcat server which is responsible for RME collector, or correct me if I'm wrong.
    Do you have any idea what can cause this problem.
    I've tried to upgrade then to Cisco works Prime lan management 4.1, but server went with same issues.

  • NB305-105 - Battery empty after few days

    I have a Toshiba NB305-105 (2 Gb Ram - 250 GB HDD) with Windows 7 (64) Ultimate. My battery (6 cells) has a long life about 6 hours but I don't manage why when switch-on the day after the PC the battery is discharged. I verify that PC is right switch-off and not in hibernate/stand-by but after some days the battery is complete empty.
    Someone has had the same problems?

    After few days the battery shouldnt be empty but it will lose a little bit power, thats normal behavior on all notebooks. Normally up to 5-10% is normal each night/day.
    In your case I would check the BIOS. There you should find options like Wake up on LAN, Wake up on Keyboard and USB Sleep & Charge. Disable all these options because they are consuming power while notebook is turned off.
    I did the same after this it lose just 2-4% so its very good! :)

  • C3750 Unable to ssh after few days!

    Hi all,
    If anyone could help me please, I'm having a problem with my switch, it seems that I'm losing the ablity to ssh to the switch after few days but if I reload it I can ssh into it again with no problem! At first I thought it was something wrong with my configuration so I've reconfugred the ssh, username, domain name and cleaned the rsa keys and regenrated new new ones.
    My switch version is:
    Cisco IOS Software, C3750E Software (C3750E-UNIVERSALK9NPE-M), Version 15.0(1)SE3, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

    Do you guys think of any work around other than down/upgrade the software? cuase the biggest issue now is, it's one of 9 switches that all run the same ISO version and all of them are on new production data center, and honestly I've had other weird issue with other switches too!

    If you're seeing unexpected behavior when using USB devices, try resetting the SMC on your MacBook Pro:
    Resetting the SMC on portables with a battery you should not remove on your own
    Note: Portable computers that have a battery you should not remove on your own include MacBook Pro (Early 2009) and later, all models of MacBook Air, and MacBook (Late 2009).
    Shut down the computer.
    Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
    On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
    Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
    Press the power button to turn on the computer.

    Looking at the trace it iloks weird that it is adding a -ve integer -2147483397 into the instance name.

  • After HP support replaced Motherboard, the window 2008 r was running okay after few days I got a Black Screen stating windows is not genuine

    After HP replaced the motherboard, and few days later I got a black desktop and windows not genuine afterwards. Any suggestion what I should do. I tried to use Microsoft support website on the server, and it will not let me proceed to any of their site.
    The browser display security certification invalid. Any help would be appreciated.

    Have you tried re-activating your copy of Windows? Eg, either using the prompt that appears or going into My Computer properties and checking the activation status at the bottom of the page?
    From memory, when you activate a copy of Windows it makes a note of the currently installed hardware (spec, serial numbers etc) so you can't just copy all the files onto another machine and use it there. My guess is that the setup has changed enough for
    it to no longer recognise it as the same machine (though I thought it normally takes a few elements changing to trigger that reaction), and so thinks it's no longer genuine. Getting Windows to activate again may work, otherwise you'll probably need to phone
    Microsoft to get them to sort it out and allow it to activate again.

       I have some applications on an Enterprise Portal running in a Java Web As 6.40. Recently, the following problem has appeared: After a day or two of normal use, the portal starts to reject all the connections that are established to it (specifically, the internet explorer gives a time out error), although in Microsoft Management Console shows all processes in green. The problem solves restarting the instance, but the portal remains functional only few days.
       Any hints on solving this?

    From your case, i believe that there has to be some problem with either application threads or heap memory, which are being freed up after restart.
    Kindly let me know the Min  Count and Max Count of Application threads, also the heap memory and your physical Memory(RAM).

    The original Firmware listed is V.2.1.1.c dated 17/09/2013 and the latest update reads V 2.1.1.z. Automated update is activated and the latest manual update request found no further update hence I must assume the newest one is installed..
    Toshiba phone support as usual was completely overxtended and e-mail support does not appear to be available. The instruction manual unfortunately does not address the issue of preparing a favourite programm list or how to prevent an undesired re-set.
