Generate warning on Delivery date

Hello Everybody,
We are on SRM 550 R3 ECC 6.0 classic scenario. As our requisitioners often forget to enter a correct delivery date we want to implement a warning when they are creating the shopping cart. plan is to delete the default of today date so they are forced to enter a date. Can you let me know how we can configure that ? Is is in a badi ? Or maybe any other ideas ?

look at this note for more clarification .you can write your own logic instead of current date.BBP_CHANGE_DEFAULT BAdI.
but however the delivery date will be copied from fixed source of supply like from contract data when PO is created if you refered in the shopping cart

How to adjust the delivery date in PR generated by MRP

Hi.
We use MRP to generate PRs. The PRs are generated and the delivery date is also being calculated based on PR processing time + planned del. time + GR process.time.
However my requirement is that the delivery date in the PR should be always Tuesday for the week we need the parts.
E.G. Say MRP run has created a PR with delivery date as 28.02.2008, then system should automatically shift that date to Tuesday's date 26.02.2008 for that week.
IF PR delivery date as per MRP is say 03.03.2008 (Monday), then system should automatically make it to Tuesday's date 04.03.2008.
so in short , each and every PR generated for any vendor , the delivery date should be always the tuesday's date in front of the week we need the parts.
So is there any standard setting or functionality available in SAP to achieve the same.?
IF not, then is there any user exit to achive the same.?

Can you please help me by informaing how can I run Time phased planning.
My requirement is that MRP Run should give me the PRs with delivery date as Tuesday. Say planned del.time is 28 days . Pur.proc.time is 2 days and GR procee.time is 1 day.
I want to run MRP every week. and. How can I set up period and what to set.?
Questions:
1) Calculation rule: Weekly with 'perid begins on (2) Tuesday?
2) Minimum period: 1 day. Is it right?
3) Valid from and valid to date: I am specifying as per my requirement: (how much it should be?)
4) How to run MD03.
Any general guideline on how timephased planning woks?
Like we need to run every week on spcified day , it generates requirement for the weeks in question only , or etc etc. .
I have never used timephased planning. So can you please help me.

Delivery date as per requirement

We have MRP configured for Finished goods External procurement
MRP is happending as per defined parameters but the problem is "Required Delivery date" is coming as per Lead time.
In case the product is required early, system is just asking for Rescheduling IN
We want "Required delivery date" should be as per material requirement,
If requirement is in August
and lead time is 60 days, if we enter the Independent demand in July and run mrp system on 5th July system generates PR with delivery date as 5th of Sept , as per lead time, and gives exception message to reschedule the same on 1st Aug
We want this to be having Delivery date as 1st August in PR itself
Please guide which settings are to be changed

This is standard functioanlity to give the delivery date on the basis of RLT (Replensih Lead Time)/
However , i think you can manuualy chnage the date of delivery date in purchase order itself

PM Order change, and bad delivery date in the PR

Hello,
We use an open PM order for reccurrence activities. But when we add an external activity, the PR created use the delivery date calculated from the original start date of the order.
So the PO are wrong, and we relaunch vendors for being late.
Anyone has an idea ?

An example in order to help :
i create an order on the 1st of january.
There is a lot of operation (subcontracting). They generate PR.
I add today an operation. The date is the current date, the 25 th of september.
I save, the PR is generated, but the delivery date is the 24th of september. And this date has been set in the operation in the order...

MRP Generated PR delivery date on a weekend

We have production orders scheduled for a Sat and Sun but the MRP generated PR has a delivery date of Friday. How do I get the PRs to have delivery dates of Sat and Sun to match the orders? We use a factory calendar that is mon-fri but we receive materials 7 days a week. I can't change the factory calendar for other reasons. I looked into creating a planning calendar but that doesn't seem to be the right approach. Any ideas?

how many plants you have? I mean inwards goods, manufacturing, planning. what are the factory calenrdars for them?
what about your material master? which planning calendar you have there?
the very first idea is extend your factory calendar for Sat-Sundays
(I assume you can't re-schedule your orders for Mon-Fridays, but why you can't change the factory calendar?)

Requested Delivery Date (Warning Message Box)

Hi Guru's
We are currently doing some testing in Sales Order creation and suddenly a dialogue box is appearing when we change the Requested Delivery Date and First Date fields to the current date.
The Message Reads :
Planned delivery dates exist for the customer.
The requested delivery date is not a planned date.
Select a requested delivery date.
11.06.2007 Current Requested Delivery Date
12.06.2007 Next Planned Delivery Date
Please can you advise how it would be possible to switch this message off.

Updation of SO Confirmed Delivery date based on GR date for BANC parts

Dear All,
Would appreciate an answer on the following issue:
For Back to back/Indiv Purchase Order parts(BANC) the confirmed delivery date in the SO is updated based on the Order Acknowledgement date sent by the vendor for the corresponding PO generated for the SO. If the the vendor happens to deliver the parts in advance of the OA date(it happens quite often), the parts wait in stores till the confirmed delivery date is reached on the SO even thugh the original requested date on the Sales order is long past. If there is an order acknowledgement date in the system, at the time of GR, a warning message comes, but as our system is a high volume systme it is not possible to update the date in SO manually. Is there a way we can update the confirmed delivery date in the SO based on the Goods receipt date automaticall through config or a batch job?

Dspsac,
Delivery date can be any date. For instance, if your customer insisted on a Sunday delivery, you would accommodate him, regardless of any calendar.
From the delivery date, the system counts backwards USING THE FACTORY CALENDAR ASSIGNED TO THE ROUTE by the number of days in the route. You have to consult the FC assigned to your Route to determine if the GI date has been properly calculated.
From the GI date, the system counts backward Pick/pack time, using the shipping point calendar, to arrive at Material availability date.

Change Delivery Date in a PR

Hi,
I have requirement whenever you create a PR from ME51n or change PR from ME52n
the Delivery date must be manipulated from a custom table, if I have 2 days in a custom table I must add the 2 days to delivery date
and update the same, if an entry is not found I have to display a Warning message.
I have used the BADI, ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST method PROCESS_ITEM, but I am not able to display a Warning message from here.
I have tried EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_005, I am able to display the Messages and add the days but this is called more than 1 time each time I change any item it is trigerred more than once. Can you please tell how can I control the iterations here.
Or is it Possible to display a Warning message from PROCESS_ITEM ?
Is there any other way I can go please advise me your valuable inputs.

I have a date generated based on the Route Schedule id (VL51, VL52) and I need to sync this date with the Goods issue date of the Sales Order created. So whenever a sales order is created with the schedule line dates, i need to modify the dates generated by the system with my dates like I will have to call a FM or a BAPI by passing the new GI date and get the new set of dates and populate them on the Sales Order schedule lines screen.
This scenario will happen for a GATP (Global Available to Promise) where by the ECC system does a remote call to the APO system to get the new dates. I will have to modify these dates with a new set of dates created either using a FM or a BAPI and populate them again on to the screen

Is there any method, field in structure or something else to turn off that proposal ... ?

POSCHEDULE structure is filled. Problem is when for example delivery date is in some other date than system wants.
I mean when I want to create PO with long deliv.date like 1 year, system will generate warning (we can see that in ME21). I want omit that warning and create PO with my own deliv.date ...

Delivery date in past in scheduling agreement

In ME38 , when I try to change delivery schedule for a line item from 05/07/2008 to 02/08/2008 , system is giving below error .
*Delivery date is in past *
I am ignored this message and pressed enter and saved the scheduling agreement .
Just I need to know , does this error has any ramification in any way .?

Hi,
In SAP the delivery date is not taken in Past,so it is showing you warning/error message.
It is not advisable to have delivery date in past.This is inturn cause problem when you going forward & want to evaluate vendor on delivery performance.

Load a sales order with delivery date in the past

Hi,
We want to load in the system a sales order with delivery date in the past, and maintain the schedule delivery date in the past. To do that, in the customizing Sales And Distribution / Basic Functions / Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling / Define Scheduling By Sales Document Type, I selected the flag Blackwards. But the problem is that the rest of the dates in the scredule line: goods issue date, loading date, material avail.date and transportation Plan Date, are in blank and you cannot enter any data because the system deletes it.
How can I have these dates informed with dates in the past?

You can control this using the "Message Control" in the SAP IMG.
Supplier Relationship Management>SRM Server>Cross-Application Basic Settings>Message Control>Influence Message Control
Using this you convert Error to Warning or even swith off this message.

MRP for STO Delivery Date Issue

Dear Gurus,
We are using MRP to generate STO purchase requisition for a specific material.
We have entered planned delivery time in the receiving plant. The supplying plant is 1000 and receiving plant is 2000.
We have entered planned delivery time in plant 2000 for 10 days . MRP is run at mid night. System is generating PR . But the delivery date is same as current date.
E.G: Material A planned delivery time 10 days in plant 2000
Planning date is 20/07/2014
in PR : Delivery date is 29/7/2014
and PR release date is 19/7/2014.
The release date is appearing in the past. Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
