When i try to use Ge-member command in ISE it not work but it work without ISE ...?

SET/GET Parameter not working? pls hlp

hi i am using a transaction variant on transaction LT01 - create transfer order. using the transaction variant i have greyed out 3 fields on the initial screen. for the greyed out fields i am passing the values using a SET PARAMETER. This is working fine for 2 fields but it does not work for the third field. any idea where i am going wrong?? the first field is warehouse number which is working fine. the second field is movement type and the third field is storage location. the first 2 works fine and the data gets populated in the greyed out field but the storage location field does not work. The field has a parameter id. pls help its urgent.

Java downloading function FtpClien.get() do not work in Solaris 10

I wrote a java ftp code using java class provided by sun (sun.net.ftp.FtpClient). It worked nicely in Solaris8. After new update from Solaris8 to Solaris10, this function does not work anymore. Specifically this function "TelnetInputStream in = ftpClient.get(remotefilename)" does not work. It stucks there forever enven without giving an exception. Does anyone know this problem?

Client Exclusion Policies on WLC not working with ISE as RADIUS Server

Hi,
for our Guest WLAN (Security Setting for this SSID:Layer2: MAC filtering, Layer3:none) we use ISE as RADIUS Server. On WLC I enabled client exclusion polices and checked all options (Excessive 802.11 Auth. Failures etc..).. But even if a client fails 20times at authentication, it is not excluded on the wlc. It works with other SSIDs, where security settings are set to 802.1x.
Am I missing any settings here or do you have some tipps on how to troubleshoot this?

Hi Renata,
If those guest failures are not associated with valid guest users (i.e. people who have forgotten their account or entering the wrong password) there isn't anything that can be done. The main point of Guest WLAN is to make it as easy as possible for Guests - individuals with device configurations you don't want to deal with or know about, to connect your network for internet access. From a WiFi/802.11 perspective, the standard Guest WLAN setup means its easy for any device to connect.
If your Guest WLAN has the following:
SSID is broadcast enabled, Security = OPEN, Encryption = none, then any 802.11 device can find the WLAN via passive scanning and connect. And any device that connects will get the ISE portal. Once recieveing that portal they can guess away at valid username/password.
I would suspect that unless your Guest WiFi is adjacent to a Mall, school, hotel or other hi-density area of individuals with time and electronics on their hands, other than alerts in your ops window and logs, resources associated with this (WLC & ISE) are very low.
You can try and dull the noise a few ways.
Option 1. create and ISE log filter on those alerts so they don't cluter the console.
Option 2. Stop broadcasting the SSID. This is not a security measure, but will cut volume of people connecting to the SSID significantly. You will have to tell your guests what SSID or include it in their credential communication.
Option 3. Put a very simple PSK on the SSID. The PSK will become a public secret - shared with valid guests, doesn't have change as it's purpose is not security. You will have to include this information on their credential communication.
Option 4 - both 2 and 3
The most effective option would be 3.

FormsCentral e-mail invite to be a team member not working

We are trying to add a member to our Forms Central team. However, he isn't receiving the e-mails inviting him to the website. His status shows him as "invited." I made him a form response receiver and contribitutor to a form I created, and it goes to his account but it does not see him as a member and his account remains as a "free" one instead of associating him to the paid team account we have. We have been successfull setting other members up to our account, but for some reason we're unable to get him set up. Please help.

All of our staff has that type of format: [email protected] and all of
them have been successful. I've included a screen shot below of our team
members. Our buyer and administrator have attempted adding and removing him
multiple times without success of him receiving the e-mails.

Client provisioning not working on ISE after 1.2 Migration

Working on an initial piloted roleout of ISE with a customer. We initially had a single server setup as a pilot using 1.1.1.4 to pilot things like client supplicant provision, and then stood up a new VM as a secondary and upgraded that to 1.2. Today we tested client provisioning that work fine before, and it is failing for iOS (we haven't gotten to the other OS'es yet). What occurs is the user authenticates using PEAP and the client gets the request to install the root certificate. After this the client accepts the root certificate the connection drops. When you click the SSID to start the process again we see the redirect to the mydevices portal, but before you can click to register the client it redirected to accept the root certificate again, creating an endless loop. Has anyone else run into this bug?

From your description, my understanding is that you get issue when you use Update Panel in Safari and sometimes Chrome.
Safari browser is a WebKit-based browser, ASP.NET AJAX breaks down completely in some circumstances when using WebKit-based browsers. Here

"Get Info" not working!

Today I started up my MacBook Pro and when I tried to use the "get info" function it wouldn't work. It seems to relaunch the finder each time I try to get info for any file. It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I try to use a two-finger click to bring up the menu or use the cmd-I shortcut. In both cases the finder relaunches and I don't get the info pane.
I've tried restarting and resetting the finder preferences, but none of it has worked. I can't seem to find anyone else who has had this problem.
I have absolutely no idea what else to try - any help would be HUGELY appreciated!!

You may have to consider using the OS X installer, booted, to try & install
what is referred to as an "Archive and Install" of a new system folder.
{If it is not a hardware-based defect. Note I refer to using the Hardware Test
which accompanied your computer when new, to delve into this deeper.}
While this may fix the problem, you have to be sure to choose for this new
Archive and Install process to keep your former user account, network
settings and other personalized items and use them in the new System.
Then, after installing a new system in that way, from the 10.5 installer,
and repair disk permissions with Disk Utility, get and install the OS X
Combo update; then restart and repair disk permissions again... And
then get the Security Update, and all other important updates, a few
at a time if possible, (you can get them direct as stand-alone files from
the Apple Support> Downloads page) and not rely solely on the main
Software Update application; that may try to load too many at one time.
If the computer's hard disk drive is not too close to critically full of data
from your using the computer and saving files to there, it may be possible
to do this Archive & Install, and update the resulting new system to the
level you presently have. And the old system would be renamed to read
Previous System. You could access that to copy items if needed into the
new system folder; and then after a time, put it into Trash and empty it.
There may be a hardware issue behind the problems you have experienced;
so there is an Apple Hardware Test on the original Install disc for the Mac
which shipped with it (not knowing if you had upgraded past the first OS)
and instructions on that DVD say how to boot into the Hardware Test from it.
In the test is a way to make the hardware test run in a loop for a time, maybe
hours, to see if it can find the cause of the problem you noted. If there is a
hardware problem, then further troubleshooting may be required to see what
may be the better path to take in regard to repairing the computer.
Hopefully someone with more experience in the issue and error message
you cite, may notice your thread and add helpful comments here.

"Get info" not work

I recently bought a laptop and installed my Creative Media source for my two Creative MP3 players -- Zen Extra and Muvo. I've installed it before on my old computer and our current computer with no problem. This time, however, when I hit "get info" I get
Microsoft Visual C++ Run time Library message. Underneath it says runtime error.
Anyone have any idea why I may be getting this?

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to get my own account working again thru purging of caches and repeatedly deleting the Finder pref file. However, the other account (my wife's) is still hosed up.
I took your advice and looked in the Console window when trying to do a "Get Info" in my wife's account. The first "Get Info" worked (??), but the second try on another file didn't, and I got this message in the console:
"Finder failed to load a resource -- the binary is corrupted"
Not a good sign. Question is, can I find the corrupted resource (assuming it's a program) and replace it?
I'm going to experiment with a new account to see if some account feature has become corrupted rather than the OS.

Combination shift+s to get S not working

I cannot type S using "shift+s" and I get a tone. I always need to use the caps-lock.

Thanks and a belated welcome. I have a similar iMac. It strikes me that, if the same keyboard works in another Mac, then the keyboard is OK. That leaves two things: your computer and your installation. Have you tried (A) the same keyboard using another USB port on your iMac; or (B) a different USB keyboard. If it works with (A), the USB port might be faulty; if (B) works, then there may be something wrong with the port/connector on your iMac. Also, (C) does the keyboard work with a different language selected?
Are you connecting directly to the USB port: some people may use a USB hub and (powered or not) these might give problems. No need to have sticky keys on, I just wanted to make sure that was not a part of the setup.
If neither (A) nor (B) work, there may indeed be a problem with the installation. I just selected the Belgian keyboard which has characters like § è ! ç à on the top line of keys. Is this the keyboard you are using, or the French one? They look the same to me. Or are you using the Dutch keyboard. I guess not from the name. None of those keyboards shows any of the symptoms you have on my computer.
So . . . The shop may be on the right track, sort of. If none of those checks above help with analysis, there may be something in the operating system, although if you have had it for a year and are now running 10.6.2 the OS itself is probably not the culprit. How many user accounts do you have on the computer? If only one, create another (if there is another already, try that) and see if the problem is in the new account. That would show if it were a user-specific problem.
In the username account > Library > Preferences folder you might try trashing com.apple.finder.plist then going for a restart.
Also consider starting up with a Safe Boot (hold the Shift key down at startup) which will isolate any of those programs that we normally have as startup items.
There could also be a problem with duplicate or damaged fonts (you have MS Office or Adobe products?) See http://www.jklstudios.com/misc/osxfonts.html>Kurt Lang's advice for this.
Methinks there is enough for you to be going on with for the moment (hope I have not overloaded you). Let's see what comes from the above.

DATACOPY from Dynamic Calc Member not working

I have a BR to Copy from one Scenario to another. I let the user chose the Scenario via RTP. When they chose a dynamic calc scenario no data is copied.
Here is the Rule

I fix on some specific Members an then copy from a specific Year->Scenario combination the Final Version to another Year->Scenario combination Version_1. Doing this with a store Scenario works, with a dynamic calc Scenario it doesnt.

Unfortunately, I think this is the way it works. DATACOPY will not copy dynamically calculated members to stored members.
Although it is not in the DATACOPY Tech Ref documentation, that's the way it works.

You are going to have to come up with another way of copying the Scenario by summing the members into the target Scenario. It can be a pain because you're going to have to mind the creation of the blocks. SET CREATEBLOCKONEQ will be your friend on this one.

Nokia - Get Connected Not Working, Installed 6.84....

Hi Guys,
Downloaded and ran install for version 6.84.10.3, now PC Suite won't connect to my phone. It sees my 5500 when I click on 'Get Connected', however, when I select the 5500 and click 'Finish', nothing happens.
I've tried re-booting, removing the usb cable, re-plugging in, but no luck.
Any ideas on this anyone?

What is your BT stack and is your Vista 32/64 bit?
About Music Manager -> maybe reset for music manager settings helps so could you try this (I check those folders from XP so there maybe some difference in Vista):
1. close music manager (if it is open)
2. Open folder C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Application Data\ and rename file NMM-MetaData.db to NMM-MetaData.db_old
3. Open folder: C:\USERS\My Music\ and rename folder "Nokia Music Manager" to "Nokia Music Manager_old"
4. Open Regedit (Start menu > Run > give command: Regedit) and open key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Nokia\ and rename key "Music Manager" to "Music Manager_old"
5. Start Music Manager -> does it work now?

Can't download Yosemite, Get button not working

Trying to update to Yosemite but the Get button is not responding. It stays grey and I don't get the green Install App.
I'm trying to update from the last version of Snow Leopard.

There is two ways to do it:
1. If you want to upgrade current OS to OS X Yosemite, then use other mac to download OS X Yosemite installer and then use external storage (USB HDD or flash storage) or file sharing to transfer /Applications/Install OS X Yosemite.app to the mac on which you want to install it and run the instalation (the mac on which you will be downloading OS X Yosemite can run already that OS).
2. If you are ok to erase HDD and do a fresh installation of OS X Yosemite (which means all data - applications, documents, photos, music and etc will be deleted) on your mac, then if you have an access to Mac which is currently running OS X Yosemite, you can use that Mac and create USB Recovery Disk:

OS X: About Recovery Disk Assistant - Apple Support
Create a bootable installer for OS X Mavericks or Yosemite - Apple Support
Booting then your Mac from USB Recovery Disk will give you an option to use Disk Utility app to erase the drive and then to proceed with Installing OS X Yosemite.
Starting from an external USB storage device (Intel-based Macs) - Apple Support
No matter which option you decide to go with, make sure you have a valid Time Machine Backup (or any sort of backup) done - if you decide that OS X Yosemite is not what you want on this Mac, then restoring from Time Machine Backup is the easiest way to go back: Mac Basics: Time Machine backs up your Mac - Apple Support
