Getting black screen trying to test PHP/Apache

Environment:
Oracle 9.2.0.1
- using the bundled HTTP server (Apache 1.3.22 I believe)
PHP 4.3.1 for Windows
Windows 2000
Problem:
I am trying to test out my initial install and I am getting nowhere. I believe that I have followed all of the install instructions correctly but this things just ain't workin' for me!
I am not trying to get the CGI version of PHP going. I have created a sample html file with "<?php phpinfo(); ?>" in it. I would expect to see the version of PHP printed in my browser window when I view this file/URL but I just get a blank screen. If I view the source then I can see all of the html.
I have copied the following files to C:\oracle\ora92\Apache\Apache -
php_oci8.dll
php4ts.dll
I have copied php-dist.ini to c:\winnt\php.ini and modified it to include my document root, uncommented out the "extension=php_oci8.dll" and "safe_mode = off".
I have modified by httpd.conf to include:

I have bounced Apache. Running it via a command shell reveals errors which may or may not be something to worry about....

The Apache startup messages say that Apache is running and
PHP is available. The warning is something to look at if
you plan to go production, but probably won't stop basic
testing.
The http.conf line "AddType application/x-httpd-php .php"
says that files with .php extensions will be processed by
PHP. You are getting results I would expect if you are
trying to load a ".html" file.
Create a PHP file with extension ".php", put
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
in it and try to load the file in the browser. You should
get a long page with PHP information.

I was trying to extent monitor, I get black screen on laptop and external monitor :/

so I have this hdmi cable that plugs into the DVI on my external monitor.
I did get the screen to show up just on the external monitor and that's it. Now, when I boot up my lap top I get black screen on both monitors. Uh oh.
I've unpugged the monitor, batter, all that stuff.
I think it's possible I clicked on don't display external monitor or something, but not it's not displaying anywhere.
I have an idea pad of some sorts w/ windows 8. I don't think it's 8.1

so I got this resolved. the guy at the computer store hit f10 and then enter. he did this while the screen was black
shouldnt' it just detect that there's not an external monitor? but even when there was a monitor connected, both screens were black.

Have you tried resetting your iPod: Nothing will be lost:

Phone was given to me by apple 2 weeks ago. Last I saw of it working was phone was off so i did the quick reset. Apple logo came up, it started up and keypad for passcode came up. It said 2% battery then went up to 64% a second later. When I was playing wth it not 5mins before it was at 65% so would make sence that later indication was correct. Before I could type the 4 digit passcode in the phone turned off to black screen. Now I have tried all possible reset options incuding the 10 second hold down of both buttons for less than 10 seconds and longer than 10 seconds. Nothing is working. iTunes is not recognising the device at all. Ive had it plugged into a wall socket for three hours and the computer for 2 hours and no signal of life. Ive tried the forums on here and the youtube vidoes and seem to know what im doing with resets. Anyone able to shed some light?

Not being able to get DFU Mode indicates hardware failure. Since you recently received this iPhone from Apple it has at a minimum 90 day Warranty. Make Genius reservation or make service arrangements and take or send to Apple for resolution. Regarding what is actually wrong with the iPhone, it could be possibility of several things. But some of the features point directly to battery. First step in fixing this iPhone would be battery replacement. Then trouble-shooting from there if still problem. Take it to Apple.

Are you using Adobe Reader? If so, what version? What OS are you using? Do you get the black screen when you open the application from the start menu or from the Applications folder? Or does it happen with you double-click on a pdf file? Or while trying to use the Reader plug-in and viewing the pdf from within a web browser? With more information we can give you more help.

Getting black screen between chunks of clip

Hi all,
We are developing an application which plays the series of clips one after the other. We are releasing and re-starting player object in playerUpdate block.
We are getting black screen in between the chunk of clips while switching from one clip to another, is there any way to avoid this black screen??

To avoid black screen, I'd prepare and package some pre-defined ['default' clip|http://www.dailymotion.com/films4/video/x5yxqe_climate-change-according-to-koalas_fun] within my application.
Then, I'd play that 'default' clip while switching from one clip to another:

Ok I checked and unchecked the playback via camera yesterday and I got black screen both times.
I could delete the imovie prefs when I go over there today.
I'll try another FW cable but it worked perfectly for importing but what the heck I've got one I'll try it.
Yes camera was set to play and not record.
Plenty of free space -- 131 GB.
I'm pretty sure it's in NTSC DV format, but it's someone else's computer so it could have been changed by someone screwin' around not knowing what they're doing making changes.

Getting black screen after trying installing windows 7 using bootcamp

I downloaded ISO for windows 7 ultimate 64 bit and after using boot camp and partitioning my hardware the computer re stared as expected but then i get the black screen saying "Press any key" and i think its becuase windows 7 can not boot up what can i do to fix it.
I also tried downloading different ISO versions but it didn't work.

Im trying to reformat my computer after a blue screen error and when i pop in my disk to reformat and install it goes through the first stuff...opening files then it says starting windows and then black screen with cursor..nothing else..i can move the

Is there any error code or error message displayed in the installation process ? because just based on your description in the post, it is difficult to find the root cause for a black screen even after a clean install, this might be caused by a corrupt installation
media or a hardware issue, so, I give two potential suggestion:
1.Try another Windows installation media and perform a clean install again to see the result.
2.Go to the computer vendor for hardware support, this also can be caused by a memory or hard disk issue.

Trying to install windows on second internal HDD, keep getting black screen?

I recently took the optical drive out of my 15" 2011 Macbook Pro, and replaced it with a second hard drive. I want to install windows on this second hard drive. However, when I try to do this through boot camp, it simply goes to a black screen with a blinking white cursor and stays there forever (presumably). I am using a windows install disk run out of the optical drive that came with the computer, which is now connected via a usb encolsure. I am running OSX out of my new SSD, which is in the main hard drive bay. The old hard drive that came with the computer is now in the optical bay. I have successfully installed windows from this disk onto my computer using boot camp before. Why is this not working, and what can I do to fix it?

Swap back and remove the drive that will not be used for Windows.
Booting from external DVD or devices is not supported.
The Mac Pro has of course had multiple hard drives and always easy but needed to remove other drives. Windows does not install if it sees a drive with GPT even though not the drive Windows is targeted to use.
