I can not install, remove or replace ghostscript with ghostscript-git
How fix this bug?

In the output you pasted to the pastebin, take the files pacman says exist in the file system and check none of them are owned by any package. Then
pacman -S ghostscript --force
Note: never use --force unless you are sure you understand what you are doing. Especially not because I say so! It should be safe here if no other package owns those files because those files should belong to ghostscript. So the --force will just overwrite them with fresh copies and, in doing so, will track them as belonging to ghostscript.

I'm guessing pacman recently updated dbus and something went wrong... Whenever I sync the local database with the arch servers, I get these errors. Those files are not present in /var/lib/pacman/local/ or in /var/lib/pacman/sync so how would I go about fixing this?

I removed dbus using yaourt -Rd (had to skip dependencies). This caused some errors to show up, but pacman said it had uninstalled dbus. This is what I get when I want to install again:

No option to save files, content/file type missing from Applications list

I want to be able to click a link to a file and have the option to Open the file with a specified application.
When clicking on the file I want to Open with a specified application, I only get a Save or Cancel option.
When I look in Preferences > Applications, the file type is missing from the list.
This was working. It is not working anymore. It is not a problem with the website. I need to know where in the FF settings I can change this.

I'm not sure of the solution on Windows. But this worked for me on Linux.
I needed to edit mimeTypes.rdf
See the links below for details. The first one was someone having a problem with Transmission. I was having a problem with ktorrent, so I just adapted that. If you're having a problem with a different file type, then you'll need to adapt it differently. But the general idea is the same.

Also, I suspect that FlashGot or some similar download manger plugin was responsible for screwing this up. I haven't confirmed it yet, but I've seen some things that make me suspect it.

How does one change the font size for folders and/or file lists in the '''Bookmarks''' Library?
Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
Can any of you Help?!?

Installed Adobe Pro X now unable to convert PDF - Missing PDFMaker Files

I installed the trial version of Adobe Pro X and now I am unable to convert a Microsoft Word.doc file to .pdf. The error message is 'Missing PDFMaker Files. Do you want to run the installer to repair mode?' I ran the installer, twice, with the same resulting error message. (Am currently using Windows XP Pro along with Microsoft 2003 - and will upgrade in the new year.) I searched this issue, and found the following:
To manage your Disabled Items list in a Microsoft Office application:
Open the Microsoft Office application (Word, Excel, Publisher).
Choose Help > About [the application name].
Click Disabled Items.
Select Adobe PDF from the list, and then click Enable.
Quit the Microsoft Office application, and then restart it.
However, there are no applications in the list, including Adobe.
I also tried this:
If the error message continues to appear after you enable Adobe PDF, check the security level for macros in Microsoft Word:
Choose Tools > Macro > Security.
In the Security dialog, click the Security tab.
Choose Medium or High.
Do one of the following:
If you chose Medium, then click OK.
If you chose High, then continue with steps 5 through 7.
Click the Trusted Publishers tab.
Check Trust all installed add-ins and templates.
Click OK.
And Adobe is already there, so no change here.
I have uninstalled the trial version, deleted what visible remnants I could find, restarted the computer, installed the trial version again and am getting the same error message.
Is there a solution to this problem? Or, should I just return to my Adobe Pro 7?

I recently bought and installed Adobe Acrobat X Pro thinking that X Pro was compatable with Windows XP. I am unable to convert any Microsoft Office 2003 file into a PDF. Pro Tools Missing audio file message syndrom exists on Logic

I come from Pro tools and i am a bit traumatised by this fkn Pro Tools missing audio file message for those who know what i mean..
Is it something possible and frequent in logic when we work on a daily basis ?

No, you simply copy the entire project folder to a flash drive and bring it home. If you have included the audio files in the project folder, which logic does by default, logic will find them just fine at home. If it asks where they are, you just hit "search" and if they're there, If you've copied the song file to your drive without including the audio files ("pilot error") then the program can't find them. Often, I get protools sessions from clients with missing files. Sometimes the entire audio files folder is missing, but more often the missing files are out-takes that are no longer part of the arrangement, and were still in the audio file list of the song, but were not included in the folder when the project was copied and brought to me. How or why, I cannot tell you.

DELJIT Idoc issue, delivery Item missing from Due list

We have recieved an Inbound DELJIT Idoc with status 53 that means the Scheduling agreement was updated successfully, but one of the Delivery line items of the Idoc does not appear in Delivery due list in VL10, any reason Why?

Missing theme files

I'm opening a previously saved document and I'm getting this huge list of missing theme files. Any ideas how to fix?

It was installed from the App Store. I worked with tech support on the phone (2.5 hours) and we did not solve the problem, however, I encountered severe Keynote problems in the past and it was font related.
One of the first things I did when the problem started was to go to FontBook, select all the fonts and run a Validation. Then, the fonts with marked with an X, I removed. Unfortunately the problem continued and it seemed to be getting worse. Now, I couldn't save files without a warning coming up and I was losing the photos that were placed in the doc.
The tech had me do a safe boot, open a new user, etc. The new user worked but who wants to switch back an forth between users just to do a Keynote preso??
As is often the case when you are at your wits end, you go back over things you have already done. I went back to FontBook and ran the validation again. Much to my surprise all the X fonts were still there. Hmmm. So, I went in and manually deleted these varmints.
Problem solved. Now the corrupt files are still corrupt but I was able to create a new presentation, clean from errors.

Recursive file list pattern

I have created a subvi that searches through a main folder for specific files and adds them to a compressed folder. I have 4 folders I need to create for different types of collected files (.csv and .txt). The naming convention of the files include a subject identifier, task description, and time stamp (most of the time). Here are a few examples:
ABC_30s_narrow_ec_12-23-42-PM_R.csv (multiple with different time stamps)
ABC_30s_narrow_ec_12-23-42-PM_L.csv (multiple with different time stamps)
ABC_sts_arms_12-21-06-PM.csv (multiple with different time stamps)
ABC_Tablet_2_12-26-56-PM.txt (multiple with different time stamps)
ABC_gait.txt
ABC_zero.csv
I have tried using the pattern input of the Recursive File List vi to search for a specific task (e.g. 30s) and move that to a specified compressed folder (e.g. balance). The files are only moved if the "pattern" at the end of the filename. Does the pattern only match the end of the files listed or can I get it to search for the pattern in the middle of the name? And is it possible to search for two patterns (e.g. 30s and zero) and move them to the same folder, without overwriting the compressed file? I would like to figure this out without changing the naming convention too much (predetermined by somebody else).

The OpenG List Directory Recursive does support searching on multiple patterns. Otherwise yeah just use the native function multiple times.

Where are my missing iWork files after updating? My business is lost without them.
Unbelieveable that Apple would do this to long time customers. This renders my business helpless.

Hard to know since you didn't list what specific files are missing. IF you know the name of any of the files (or the content) youy can enter the name ofr phrase in th the spotlight search in the top right corner of your screen:

Missing PDFMaker-files - Acrobat 7.0 / Office 2010

I have a problem to create PDF files from Office documents.
Acrobat Professional 7.1.0
Microsoft Office Professional 2010
I get the error message "missing PDFMaker files".
Office 2010 is a new installation. With my old Office 2003 I had no problems.
I tried to activate/deactivate the Office Add-ins and change the security options.
I tried to register the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll in my system32 folder (I can't register the other DLLs).
I tried to contact the telephone support, but my version is too old.
Does anyone know what I can do? Or do I need an update?

I had this problem on a Vista PC.
I only required Excel to work. but im sure its a similar process for Word etc.
I was still able to make PDF's with the 'Adobe PDF' printer function.
Click File
Click Options
Click Add-Ins
Select 'Acrobat PDF Maker Office .COM Addin'
From the Dropbox at the bottom select "Excel Addins"
- Click Go
- UN-SELECT Any Acrobat or PDFMaker listing
From the Dropbox at the bottom select "COM Addins"
- Click Go
- Check the box "Acrobat PDFMaker Office COM Addin" IS selected
- If NOT.. Click Add and browse to
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll"
- If your version is NOT 10.0 it will be a different folder ie 7.0 8.0 etc
From the Dropbox at the bottom select "Disabled Items"
- Click Go
- Make sure PDFMaker is NOT disabled
This fix may seem trivial however i spent a long time working on this problem.
I tried different versions
I manually removed Acrobat http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/400/kb400658.html
I updated Office
I played with Macro security settings in Office
I tried different PDF settings in Distiller
All of this did nothing.
Remove it from the Excel Add-in
Leave it in the COM Add-in
I had no problems with Windows 7. Just Vista
I hope this works for someone else too.

HELP! ERROR MESSAGE: Missing PDFMaker Files

My Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 has been running perfectly fine for over a year now. However, today I went to create a pdf. and I received the following error message:
Missing PDFMaker Files
Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?
So I said yes, and then restarted my computer. That didn't fix it.
I uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Professional and re-installed it. That didn't fix it.
I really have no idea what to do. It's extremely frustrating because I have CS2 and the phone support people said they couldn't help me because I don't have the newer version. I'm looking for any sort of solution to this problem because it makes this program virtually useless.

ok i just got mine working. you have 7 i have 8, but its still worth a try. here are the steps i took. i hope this helps good luck
i did this in excel, so ill use excel as the application, otherwise its outlook or word or whatever your application name is ok oh i have 07 office
- open excel
- click the office button (the big yellow button at the top left)
- click excel options button (at the bottom)
- click add ins on the left side dialog box
- do one of the following
- if pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin is not listed, choose COM Add ins form the manage pop-up menu (at the bottom) and click go
- if pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin is listed under Disabled Application Addin, select disabled items from the manage pop up menu and click go
- select pdfmoutlook or acrobat pdfmaker office COM addin and click ok
- restart your application (again i was in excel)

Oracle VM Server for SPARC Configuration
Once installed, you may configure your system for a basic LDoms
deployment. If you select "y" for the following question, the Oracle
VM Server for SPARC Configuration Assistant (tty) will be launched
following a successful installation of the packages.
(You may launch the Configuration Assistant at a later time with the
command: /usr/sbin/ldmconfig, or use the GUI Configuration Assistant
which is bundled in the Oracle VM Server for SPARC zip file - see
README.GUI for more details)

security configuration of this Solaris instance using the Solaris
Security Toolkit.

a) Hardened Solaris configuration for LDoms (recommended)
b) Standard Solaris configuration
c) Your custom-defined Solaris security configuration profile

The changes made by selecting this option can be undone through the
Solaris Security Toolkit's undo feature. This can be done with the
'/opt/SUNWjass/bin/jass-execute -u' command.

Can't delete itunes to update because of missing msi file

Had virus issues with my computer. Now finally got the add or remove list to re-populate and tried to update iTunes. Kept saying error, can't find missing msi file. Read to manually delete all apple/itunes files including quicktime, etc. Itunes won't delete because computer needs to find this missing msi file. Have rebooted numerous times. Should be a quick fix, I would think. Please advise!! Missing my itunes Thanks

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
