Goods issue availability check

Dear All,
we are facing one problem in SAP.
My scenerio is i am procurring one Raw Material say Eg - RM1 - 100 kg Batch No - ABC01 on 12.08.2010 so my stock will be availble only 12.08.2010 only, but when i am doing goods issue to order / cost centre same RM1 Batch ABC01 01 .08.2010 system allowing me to post the stock. Actually on that day 01.08.2010 there is no stock in this material/batch .
I want system should not allow me to if stock is not available on that day. how to do this one
Regards,
s.sakthivel

Dear ,
If the stock is not avilable ( Check in MMBE) , When you trigger MIGO with  by marking OK  and posting dates in 01.08.2010 , hit the Check Button , it should promt you with  the following messeage : Deficit of SL Unrestricted-use XX EA : SAMPLE 001 0001 "  like this .It means , there is insuffiecent stock .It will not allow you to carry out Goods Issue against PO as long as there is insuffiecent stock .
1.As per your problem i believe you have activated the negative stocks in plant and all storge location.
It can done by de-activating the negative stocks in Inventory management.
Check in the transaction code for this OMJ1.
Follow the IMG path SPRO->MM->Inventory Management->Goods Issue / Transfer Postings->Allow Negative Stocks.Un-checked if you have marked it .
2.Did you keep Individual and Collective Indicator -2 in MRP4 view .
3.Try User exit : User Exit for MIGO (goods receipt and goods issue)
User Exit for After SAVE in MIGO..

  • Blocked Goods and availability Check

    Hi,
I have a scenario where certain quantity of a material say "a" was blocked. But after certain time due to increased demand the client asked to make the material "a" available. So how does the availability check will work now..
    Thanks

Simple, you need to have stock for the material. You schedule line cat relevant for Availability Check in sales order will take care of it.
If you have existing sales order for the material then use TCode V_R2 and V_V2 for running the availability check for unconfirmed items of the sales orders.
Or you can use V_V1 used to create confirmed backorder.

  • Goods issue quantity check

    Hi Friends
Scenario: There are 2 components with quanity of 100 each for header material (10 qty) .Both teh components have backflush indicator.
User iwants option of doing Goods issue through MB1A also.Suppose 20 qty each is issued through MB1a by using Mvmt type 261 ,the reamining qty that needs to be issued is 90 each.(reservation is not reduced )
When user does confirmation of order by CORK for 10 quantites the quanity that comes in Goods movement overview is 100 qty.
Why the quantity that si already issued is not taken into account.?

    Sachin,
As you said you have set the backflush indicators for both the components. Then if you try to issue the components with MIGO or etc system will issue error message 'Documents contain no selectable items.' if the order contains these two components only.
So it's clear that the GI against the order with t code MB1A is not against the reservation created by the system & will be treated as unplanned goods issue.
That is the reason system proposes the whole quantity while confirmation.
Also if you set BF indicator then you can not issue & you are not supposed to issue the component without confirmation. There is no exception
    Hope this helps you.

  • Sales order - Schedule line or Availability check

    Dear friends,
I have one requirement on sales order availability check or schedule line.
When i enter material and quantity in sales order it should not determine stock from one storage location (0003 storage location for damaged goods) through availability check or schedule line whatever.
Can i handle this through any routine or functional config. kindly suggest.
    Regards,
    Praveen Lobo

    Dear Praveen
Dont maintain the storage location 0003 in MMSC.  Also, in material master, you dont maintain the "Delivering Plant" so that you will have to input manually in sale order.  If Plant is not flowing automatically in sale order, your storage location will also not flow.

  • No Accounting document generated during Goods Issue

    Hi All,
In MTO, when posting Goods Issue during an outbound delivery, no accounting document is generated.
However, the documents get generated during the billing cycle.
In MTS, however, accounting document is generated while posting Goods Issue.
    Plz advice.
    Anu

A few things you could verify.
Check your SD and FI integration.
Check the amount of the goods issued.
Check the pricing conditions as well.

  • Post Goods issue showing wrong accounting figures

    Dear Friends,
I have received a query where there is one sales order with many line item. Delivery is broken up into pieces and so is billing. When I go to the deliver -post goods issue and check for the accounting document for the first delivery, it shows for accounting document figures perfectly fine but when I go to the second delivery - post goods issue, the accounting document generated figures are vague. The figures which should be in lacs are reflected in crores in the accounting document in the Post goods issue.
The Price Control in the Material is Moving Average Price
The pricing procedure does not show anything wrong in the Sales Document.
Kindly suggest me a solution to this problem. This is a very critical issue as the figures are in huge numbers.
    Regards
    Vineet Jain

    Dear Vineet
Really this is a strange problem which should not happen.  Please confirm whether you are facing this issue in all subsequent deliveries or only for that particular sale order.  If it is only for that particular sale order, then I feel, you need to refer to SAP.
Meanwhile, you can cross check the value as follows:-
Go to MB51, give the material code which has got issue, input plant and movement type and execute.  A list will be displayed where press +"Cntrl + Shift + F12"+ so that the system will take you to a screen where for that particular material code and movement type, a detailed analysis will flow with delivery reference.  In the same screen, there is a field "Amount in LC".  Divide this value with despatched quantity and see whether the value here is flowing correctly (ie.it is picking the moving average price) by comparing with material master Accounting1 view.

  • Check material availability and goods issue with different BOM no

    dear expert:
    please find the below scenerio
    1. finished goods contain finished garments which contain washed garments accordingly>sewing garments>print panel>cut panel>fabric
    2. before going production we need to check all the component materials as well as their components are available or not.
    3. so our idea is we will create one BOM no 7 which will contain all components under finished goods. and we need to check material availablity with this BOM no
    4. successively we will split the BOM into different group and assign them under different components as applicable in BOM no 1 which we wants to use while issue.
please suggest whether it is possible and if yes then how can i do this.
    best regards
    javed iqbal

    Dear,
Requirement: System issue Warning / Error message in case of movement quantity is more than available quantity - safety stock quantity while making goods movements.
This is actual requirement - Ex. Material un-res stock = 10 pcs and material master safety stock set as 5 pcs. So, if any reservation, goods issue, transfer postings done with quantity 7 pcs - system issue message as ' on date xxxxx only 5 pcs available' (i.e 10 available - 5 safety = remaining 5 relevant for movement).
For this Dynamic availability check created with checking rule and assing rule with trasaction OVZ9 and OMB1 similar for Reservations.
Make the message to be shown either Warning or Error and transaction types also assign the rule.
BUT do suggest to do regression test cross functionality wise whether any where this message breaking background operations like - auto reservation from production , sales order etc.
    Regards,
    Syed Hussain.

  • Dynamic Availability Check for Goods Issue,Transfer Posting

    Dear All,
Can anyone explain the Dynamic Availability Check??
I mean the relevance on setting this indicator for a mov.type?
In OMCM & OMCP I have defined a Checking Rule & also assigned the same to a Mov.type as well the transaction code?
whether the Dynamic Availability Check concept is same in case of sales ie Say I have a Stock of 100 qtys for a material in a plant & in the availability Scope of Check I have ticked the include safety stock.
In my material master I have a safety stock of 500 qtys.
So when I do a transfer posting for this material with Qty as 200, System should allow me do proceed as in my availability check I have enabled the safety stock option.
But this is not happening & I am getting an error message as deficit of stock 100 nos. Also what is use of setting the dynamic availability check indicator for my mov.type as A - Warning message , B - Error Message etc..
    Kindly suggest valuable inputs.
    Thanks & Regards,

For e.g. there is Available Stock = 1000 qty and safety stock in material master = 500 qty then system will allow you to use 1000 qty only not 1500 qty
This is only used for availability check purpose whether system it should be considered or not?
    And following indicators means;
A  W mess. only issued in the case of non-availability
B  E mess. only issued in the case of non-availability
E  Message in any case: W mess. for non-avail., otherw. S mess.
F  Message in any case: E mess. for non-avail., otherw. S mess.
S  Availability check only with simulation
The above indicators indicate whether the system is to check for existing material requirements.
Award appropriately once the thread is answered.

  • Availability check during goods issue

    Dear All
We have a scenerio where SAP change the GI quantity during  GI posting . Even though quantity is confirmed in SO and delivery .
we are not having WM , picking and packing happen in external WH .
Please let me know any setting in customizing which force system to do availability check during GI again , as availability check is already done during SO and delivery creation .
    Many Thanks
    Kaustubh

    Hi,
When you do PGI, you can't issue stock that you don't have (in that SL/Plant). ATP can be done in some cases without SL, and that could lead to such problems.
Alternatively (not recommended!) you can allow negative stocks, so PGI goes through with any quantity, and you reconcile stocks later.

  • Proposed goods issue date, material availability date

    Dear All,
where to configure the goods issue date & material availability date.
    regards,
    Murugan

    Hi,
For determining the dates, you have to put the availability checking group in the Salesorg/plant view of material master.
After that you have to put the number of days(planned delivery time,GR processing time) in the MRP2 view
of material master and if the stock is not availble then the system will determine dates based on these number of days.
You can also select the default delivery date by putting the number of days in the configuration of sales document type VOV8.
    Reward points if it helps.

  • Credit check at goods issue and release authorziation based on value

    Hi,
I am doing credit management config. My reqmt. is to have credit check at goods issue only. Done this through credit group in automatic credit management config. I have used static check with both open orders and open deliveries checked.
open sales order (delivery not created) value is not updating in the credit exposure field in FD32 can u tell me what can be the problem (I have maintained the subtotal value A in pricing procedure)
My 2nd requirement is based on the range of credit value, documents should be released. i.e., Credit limit is 1Lakh. Now when it exceeds by 50000, credit manager is authorized to release in VKM5. If it exceeds & between 50000 - 1Lakh, Finance Head should be authorized to release in VKM5 and finally it exceeds above 1Lakh , VP Finance should be authorized to release. How do we handle this, pls. give me solution for the above scenario

  • Check material cost when post goods issue

    Hi,
When i click the post goods issue in VL02N, I would like to check if the cost of mateial is equal to zero. If it is zero, I would like to stop the transaction with a error message.
But in the user exit, I cannot find which field provide the material cost. Can any one help me?
    Many Thanks
    Jean

    Dear Jean,
    Good morning and greetings,
In the movement type config make the accounting as mandatory and would surely meet your requirement. Maintain that in the transaction code OMJJ for the Accounting Control to Movement Type as + which is required entry.  The system would throw an error if no accounting entry is generated.
    Hope this meets your requirement
Please reward points if found useful.
    Thanking you

  • Sales BOM - Delivery Quantity check during post goods issue

I am working on a problem in my company.  We are running ECC6.0 ehp 4.  We are using standard ERLA functionality with sales bom (5) for product kits.  Delivery manager has requested that we investigate a system check during delivery post goods issue.  THe problem is that when shipper processes delivery, if they have to backorder they update pick and delivery quanity on the TAE item.  They should also update TAQ delivery quantity, so that backorder amount is correct.  If they make data entry error, backorder quantity is incorrect.  The delivery manager has tried a number of attempts to re-train and correct mistakes.  He is now asking that SAP issue a hard error if TAQ and TAE delivery item quantities are not the same.
I have searched on SAP Notes, Forms, and Google and do not see solution.  I know that at delviery item category there is a minimum qty check for the item category.  I've not found a user exit or configuration point that checks quanities.  Does anyone know of out of the box solution?  Or where would I put in custom user exit?
    Test Case
    Create Standard Order
    Enter Material with Sales BOM
    ITEM A     Qty 10
    BOM explodes with Item categories
    ITEM A     TAQ parent
    ITEM B     TAE child
    Create Delivery
Delivery has item categories TAQ and TAE
TAE is pickable, TAQ no pick
    Process TAE
         Pick quantity of 5 items
Change delivery quantity to 5 items
Forget to change TAQ delivery quantity
         Pack 5 items
    Post Goods Issue the delivery.
Is there are requirement/routine than can be run at time of PGI that checks TAQ delivery quantity is the same as TAE delivery quantity.  If quanities are not the same, show hard error and message do not allow PGI to complete.
    Thank you
    Tony Romain

I tried setting that field in the sale order this morning.  By defaulting it to "C"; I was able to get warning message for TAE line.  I was able to post goods with TAE and TAQ, being different quantities.  I need the check to determine if TAE and TAQ delivery quantity are different.  Using this fields seems to be line specific.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I now know what that field does to the delivery.
    I rewarded points.
    Thanks,
    Tony

  • Check on Goods Issue

    Hi,
My client is asking a solution for scenario whereby-
    eg:
    activity1
    material1 qty 10
    material2 qty 20
Now client wants that no goods issue can happen on apart from the materials atttached to activity.
Do we have some solution in standard or should i go for development.
    Thanks,
    Harsh

    Hi Harsh,
I can think of following solution options:
    1. Allow goods issue only via reservation in MB1A and MIGO using authorisation.
    2. Custom development in MB1A/MIGO user exit. Use RESB table to perform check.
