Goods movement tab not coming in production order

Dear PP Gurus,
I  have created a production order  and done the partial  confirmation of this  production order.
I am not able to see the Goods movement tab in the display.
When i go to T CODE  CO14 and enter the order number .
I am not able to see the goods movement tab .
Please help.  I think i have misd something in config.
Best regards

Dear Aadi,
At the time of Booking, You are not entered the good movement tab, thats why i you r not able tyo see the goods movement in the  diaplay of confrimation.
If  U want  Material is to be posted at the time of confimation
1 ) Then make a proper setting as backflush ( maintain the back flush In material master  MRP 2 View, or in work center or in routing ( component allocation screen
2) to amake a Auto GR  for header material-   assign the control key with auto GR on the final operation in the routing ,
3 )  Click the goods movemnt tab at the time of confrmation and change the quantity as per the actual consumption and Post
4  IF u post the good movemnt at the time of confimation , you can see in the diapaly mode otherwise U cannot see the goods movement Tab

  • Overhead cost not coming in production order

    Hello Friends,
I have assigned overhead group to material master in costing 1 view.Overhead group is assigned to Overhead key and valuation area of mine (plant).Even i have defined overhead rates i.e, percentage overhead for my company code. Then i calculated the overhead using KGI2.It shows no error in log and shows 1 overhead calculated. But when i go inside the production order, it doesn't show the overhead cost in actual cost, why?
Am i wrong in calculating the overhead cost?
       Please guide.
       Thanking you.

    Hi,
Your overhead rate has to be assigned to your costing sheet.
    Follow the steps below...
    1) For your order type check the OTDP (OPL8 t code)
Check your applicable costing variant in "cost accounting tab)
    2) In OPL1 t code check the valuation variants (planned and actual) for your costing variant
    3) In Okk4 check the costing sheets assigned to your valuation varaint.
    4) now check if the overhead key is assigned to your costing sheet in IMG--> controlling
    >Product cost controlling>Cost Object Controlling-->Product Cost by Order
    >Overhead>Define Costing Sheets. If it is not assigned, then assign it
    5) Also check if your overhead key is assigned to your overhead rate. Follow the same path as above. under 'Define Costing Sheets' Costing Sheet: Components-->Define Percentage Overhead Rates.
    Now check your scenario again.
    Hope this helps.

  • 101 movement not happening when production order got backflushed.

    HI SAP Gurus,
For SKU 101 movement not happening when production order got backflushed, but 261 movement successfully happened. Please let us know any settings need to check?
    Thanks and Regards,
    SHARAN.

    Hi Sharan,
A 101 movement for the production order takes place when
    - You receive the production order via MB31
    or
    - Confirm the last operation which has PP03 control key
A backflush is done only for the components called by the production order & not for the header material.
Hope the above answers your query.

  • GR for production order post to cost center and not to the production order

    Hi all,
when we post the goods receipt for the finished product against the production order (mov. type 101), the order is not credited with the corresponding stock value. Instead of this, the value accounts to a cost center.
We specified this cost center in OKB9 (Default account assignment), because if not, we get an error when posting the goods receipt cause of lacking accounting object.
I can't see why the system does not credit the production order?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your time
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
This is the first time i am coming across an issue like this.
    neverthless from a logical front,
    1. Remove Cost center as a valid receiver in Settlement Profile.
    2. Your OKB9 setting are pretty much good. No need to worry about it.  Becasue, OKB9 only will work if the system doesn't identify any other cost object. In this case Production Order is an automatic cost object which system should have taken.
    3. Check the Settlement rule when you have created Production Order. It should have been MAT.
    4. I hope you are creating Production Order with Material (using CO01 and not CO07)
    5. Make sure in OPL8, the default rule in controlling tab is PP1.
Once all these are fine, i do not see any reason why you will get your probelm.
Please check and revert back to me if the problem still persists.
    Best Regards

  • Target cost and actual cost not picking in production order

    Hello,
The target cost and actual cost is not updating in production order when I display it in CO03 in cost analysis.
Even though we have maintained planned price in KP26.
Please suggest how it can be populated.
    Best Regards,
    Tapan

    Hi Tapan
    For Target cost
    1. Your std cost must be released before Goods Receipt
    2. There must be goods receipt posted on the prod order
    3. You must calculate variances in KKS1/2
    For Actual Cost
    1. Post Goods receipt and Goods issues
    2. See if any mat movements are pending in COGI
    3. Ensure that operation is confirmed in PP and no entry is lying in COFC

  • "Goods Movement" is not allowed (ORD 100020)

When I do goods receipt via tcode MB1C and movement type 521 without production order number. An error occurs.
"Goods Movement" is not allowed (ORD 100020)
    Message no. BS 007
    Diagnosis
The current status of object 'ORD 100020' prohibits business transaction 'Goods Movement'.
    Procedure
To process business transaction 'Goods Movement', you first have to change the status of object 'ORD 100020' to allow the transaction 'Goods Movement'.
This gives you an overview of the system and user statuses that affect the transaction. A transaction can only be executed if there is at least one status that allows it and there is no status that forbids it.
If I input a production order number in ORDER field of account assignment block,I can complete the action sucessfully. So I want to know the reason. Can you help me?

    Hi,
Pls check with the status profile in OPJH.
Check whether any user status has been set in that status prifile. ( say for ex .User status which forbids the the Goods receipt unless the Confirmations are completed )

  • Material Cost Not Shown in Production Order if planned with MD50

  • Condition type not coming in sales order

    Hi,
we have a condition type Z026. The issue is that  it is not set in the order but the condition records exists. The pricing analysis shows that condition reocrd is missing but the fact is the condition record is there. The acess seq is Z026 and there are many tables in the acess sequence.
The first table in the access seq is 906 and the condition record exists but still the system says that the condition record is not found using  cond preliminary step (header fields like customer/sales org/div). the cond record is maintained for  relevant sales org/dist channel/customer/material. cond preliminary step means that system first looks for the header fields but everything is there.
The condition is active and the conditon is created on 21.7.10 with validitity from 21.7.10 to 31.1.2010 and the pricing date in sales order is 27.7.10. so everyhting is fine but yet the condition is not coming in sales order
    what could be the issue.
    regds

    Hi,
Now try creating a sales order with 20.07.2010 as the pricing date. It will work. Create another order with 21.07.2010 and it will not work. If so, it is due to the validity date. When you give 21.07.2010 as validity date and there is already another record which was valid on that date, the gap of one day can happen and we have experienced this. There is even an OSS note explaining this concept, which makes sense business-wise.
However you check the scenarios I have mentioned. If the behaviour is as I have mentioned, then you have to change the pricing date of your problamatic sales order to one day earlier, or move the validity date one day earlier.
If the behaviour is different, pls lemme know

  • Goods Issue To Each Operation Of Production Order?

As we know, in SAP ,when we create and realse the production order,we could posts good issue to the production order ,using MB1A. And in SAP , the components can be assigned to the operations of the finished product.
But in our company, the production order will take long time, and during production, different materials will be used in different phase of the production order, that means different components will be used for different operations.
And for some reason,we don't want our material to be backflushed during production.
So I want to ask can we post goods issue to each operation of the production order, not to the whole production order? Can SAP support Post Goods Issue To Each Operation Of Production Order?
What shall we do if we want do this?By ABAP development ? Or there is third party software
    can do this with SAP?
    Thanks for any reply!
Edited by: Fei Liu on Mar 14, 2009 4:56 PM

    Hi Fei,
As explained above, i think the concept of releasing the individual operations instead of releasing the order at header level would work fine for your requirement.
    Steps:
    1. Go to operation page in co02.
    2. Select the first operation, at the bottom of the screen you would find a Green Flag, click on the same.
    3. You will now find that the status of the first operation has changed to REL, while the others are still not.
    4. At header level you will find a status PREL, indicating partial release.
    5. After completion of the first operation, confirm the same & select the second operation & click release, & the process follows in this manner
    6. Please do not click the green flag at the header level as this will release the entire order.
    Pre-requisite:
    1. You have assigned components to the respective operations.
You might also want to consider the usage of trigger points. This you can assign to each operation, where-in if the status changes to CNF, you trigger the release of the following operation. But before opting for this flow, first do it manually to ensure it meets your need.
Also if the components assigned to the same operation, needs to be issued at different date, then you can use the lead time offset in BOM. In cs02, go to item details, here you can specify the same. Eg: If your operation stats on 15th March & you want this component to be issue only on 17th March, then specify the offset as 2. But if you want the components to be issued 2 days in advance of 15th march, then specify as 2-.
    Hope the above helps.

    Vivek

  • Phantom Assembly not exploding in production order

    Hi All,
We are using phantom assembly as a BOM component.
When we create a planed order from MD03 or MD02 and try to convert this planed order to production order the components of Phantom assembly are not explode in production order. When I tried with read PP master data option it get explode.
Can you please let me know the reason?
    Thanks,
    SAP PQ

    Dear ,
Couple of points on this issue which may help you understand the problem  : Bom Explosion With Phantom Assemblies will happen based on the following set up .
    1. You need to maintain the special procurement key-50 for the phantom Assembly
in the MRP 2 View of the material master
    2. We can override the Phantom Assembly Setting by defining in SPRO --->
Define Explosion Types so that MRP Creates Procurement Propasals for the
Phantom Assembly itself.ie We can Swith off the Phantom Assembly Settings.
This settting need to be defined in the BOM Item details screen in the Basic
Data Tab Page under MRP Area.
So check in your Bom whether switch off phantom assembly is defined.Make the Explosion Type-Blank
3.Run MRP Single Item - Multi level - Transaction MD02 with Planning Mode 2 : 'Re-explode BOM and Routing'. The Phantom Item will now get exploded correctly in the Planned Order.
4.Check the Validity of the BOM  and planning date
5.Check the MRP4 set up in FG where you have kept the BOM/Routing selection
6.Check wether dependent requirement  material master -MRP4 view -MRP  for Depent Requ should be blank .
Check the above points and come back
    Regards
