Graphic driver troubles in VMWare

Question

I'm trying to run archlinux inside a virtual machine.
I've installed open-vm-tools and open-vm-tools-modules, but for some reason X is using the vmwlegacy driver,
which doesn't let me use a proper resolution...

Loading vmwgfx with modprobe seems to work fine, however.

Thank you for posting on the HP Forums.
To get your issue more exposure I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums since the EliteBook 8460p is a commercial product. You can do this here: Notebook - HP ProBook, EliteBook, Compaq, Slate/Tablet PC, Armada, LTE
