Gsettings schema not installed?
All:
Whenever I try to start firefox, it crashes after going to any website with a core dump. With gdb, I obtained this:
(firefox:7395): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: No GSettings schemas are installed on the system
Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.
0x00007ffff0c5aa27 in g_logv () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
I've tried to recompile schemas with
glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas
but it hasn't helped. I've also tried reinstalling glib, glib2 and firefox, also to no avail.
It appears that it might be permssions-related, since I can run it with gksudo just fine. Any ideas?
I've come back, and tested it on my arch machine. Running the xorg.sh script allows firefox to work normally.
EDIT:

Mate-screenshot GLib-GIO-ERROR - schema not installed
I installed mate desktop and everything works except the mate-util packages like mate-screenshot.. When I try to run mate-screenshot or mate-dictionary I get this error:
[deadpool@nix64 ~]$ mate-screenshot
(mate-screenshot:1417): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.mate.screenshot' is not installed
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
[deadpool@nix64 ~]$
[deadpool@nix64 ~]$ mate-dictionary
(mate-dictionary:1448): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.mate.dictionary' is not installed
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
[deadpool@nix64 ~]$
I really don't know what to do.what version of the mate-utils package do you have?
1.6.0-4? that one should work
previous 1.6.0-3 had some issues
edit:
you can also try to run
/usr/bin/glib-compile-schemas /usr/local/share/glib-2.0/schemas/
to see if that compiles the schemas or not

JDeveloper 9.0.2 Tutorial - Example Schemas not installing
I have successfully installed JDeveloper through the Oracle 9iDS download. To go through some of the tutorials, you need to have the order entry sample schema installed. We used the Oracle 9i Database Configuration Assistant to install the sample schemas, and it only allowed us to install two, the owners being HR and SH.
Does anyone have an idea why the other sample schemas were not available to be installed?
Thanks,
MarkMark,
The Order Entry schema is one of the common schemas included in the 9i database. You need to unlock user OE.
Your JDeveloper installation also includes scripts to install the 8i version of the OE and HR schemas; you'll find these
in jdev_home\jdev\tutorials\sample_schema_scripts. These scripts create new users OE8 and HR8, then install the
schemas.

I have used this template in one of my Form library and i can able to submit the Form with success to the library.
when i click "View Item" or "Edit Item" of the form it throws , "One or more field types are not installed properly. Go to the list settings page to delete these fields." error message.
I have refered my log files also but there is no useful information in that, please find my logs for your reference.

JeevaHello,
Is there any other content type on library or check if there is any duplicate column? Could you please also show us your library columns detail? (pic is also fine of lib settings page)
If you have any ""Property Promotion" column then SP create those columns as site column and associate them with this template so check "Allow management of content types" for that form library as well.

Macbook Pro SMC update 1.3 will not install
Greetings,
I am having problems getting the latest SMC update to install on my 15" Macbook pro. My built in drive has a boot camp partition, so I understand if the update won't install using that. But When booting off freshly GUID partitioned and HFS+(journaled) formatted Firewire 400 drive (Leopard installed and updated to 10.5.7) SMC 1.3 update will not install and gives same error "Your firmware can not be updated because the hard drive partition scheme may not be supported. You must be booted from a GUID partition or RAID scheme." Huh?
I tried the update pushed down by software update, and a manual download.
Current SMC version showing in system profiler as 1.16f10
Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions?"...hit the hardware start button, get gong, machine starts to boot, something briefly flashes on the screen"
Hi Bob, you have to hold down the start button(5-10secs) until you hear a long tone. Then let go and everything is ok.
You'll also see the progress bar install the update, that is what the brief flash was but because the button wasn't held for a few seconds, it didn't take.

Itunes was not installed correctly please reinstall. :(
After upgrading itunes it says ' itunes was not installed corectly please reinstall so i uninstalled everything apple : bonjour apple application support , quicktime ....., than installed itunes again nothing ! same message i'v tried dowload microsoft.net framework didden't help. I noticed that quicktime isent working either it says ' please install apple aplication support so i downloaded winrar opened the setup from itunes and installed apple aplication support . Now after a week itunes still says ' itunes was not installed correctly please reinstall and quicktime still says ' please install apple aplication support. I'm 14 and from Belgium so i don't understand the really complicated told selutions but i do understand if you could explain it in steps ! please help me my ipod was conected to my pc when this all happend so it deledet all my music on my ipod please please please help me !
After searching on line, it seemed that this was a compatibility issue, and I might need .NET 3.5, which in turn seems to be part of SP2, but my autodownloads failed and the patch for downloading SP2 failed to install also.
Yeah, that'll be our issue. We'd better get you up to SP2 ... without it, you won't be getting any security updates now, so you'll possibly be a wee way behind on that front. (In the grand scheme of things, that's probably the more significant problem.)
Are you able to get SP2 in if you do a manual download of the System readiness tool? There's instructions for that in the Information for Advanced Users section of the following document:
[Description of the System Update Readiness Tool for Windows Vista, for Windows Server 2008, for Windows 7, and for Windows Server 2008 R2|http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821] -
Scott schema not included in Oracle 12c?
I just downloaded Oracle 12c however I noticed that there's no scott.sql in the oracle directories.. (/rdbms/admin/scott.sql)
Tried downloading scott.sql and add but it wasn't added successfully as I checked for scott username from dba_users as said in this guide: Oracle Training - Oracle Video Tutorial | Installing the SCOTT schema | Oracle Tutorials - YouTube
Is there anyway to add it?
I also needed the other tables EMP, DEPT, etc.. for my final project.
Thank you!That is not an official Oracle video, so the content is questionable.
I have not installed 12c personally, but this link may be helpful - Contents

I've already shut the database down and open it again after installing the recovery catalog , also related oracle services as well...
Could it be a bug with the version 11.2.0.2.0 which I currently use ?
Or what could be the solution ?
Thanks in advance...Hi,

Can not install 10.5 on external hard drive.
This is the situation I took my old hard drive from my old desktop that has 10.4.11 installed and put it into an external USB hard drive case. It shows up on the desktop but I can not install 10.5 on it from the disk. Using disk utility it indicates that the drive is bootable. But I can not get to be read as a destination drive.
I want to use this drive in part for parallels desktop and windows NT.Yeah, that's it. The Partition Map Scheme is set for APM, which is OK for a disk on an Intel machine, unless you want to Install Leopard or upgrade Leopard on it. That's when you need to use GUID.
You can use SuperDuper to create a clone on an APM drive and an Intel machine will boot just fine, you just can't run the updates. I do this for a drive that I've partitioned into two parts, one for my bootable clone, and the other for TM.
I have SuperDuper clone my boot drive to the external drive every week and don't worry about updating the clone. That way, if an upgrade screws up my machine, I can boot from the other drive and reclone the last working system to my boot drive.
I only use TM to track older files, on the fly, and don't want to have to boot from the DVD to restore my machine and get back to work. I do the work I want right away with the clone and then any changes are cloned back to the original boot drive when I have time. -

please see below my task and i achieved so far.
i need to get list of Users in C# from Exchange Server. for that i created new User [[email protected]]
in Exchange Server , then i give Full Access Permissions to that User to Access all other Mail Boxes.
By giving below command in PowerShell I am getting all Users List .
Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited
i need the same list In C# code. for that I
tried with below code.
Here i got only particular user [ [email protected]] details , instead of list.
SecureString secureString = new SecureString();
string myPassword = "EIS2014!@#"; string username = "[email protected]";
foreach (char c in myPassword)
secureString.AppendChar(c);
PSCredential ExchangeCredentials = new PSCredential(username, secureString);
WSManConnectionInfo connectionInfo = new WSManConnectionInfo(new Uri("http://ExchangeServer.admin.com/powershell ), "http://schemas.microsoft.com/powershell/Microsoft.Exchange , ExchangeCredentials);
Runspace runspace = System.Management.Automation.Runspaces.RunspaceFactory.CreateRunspace(connectionInfo);
runspace.Open();
string newCommand = "Get-Mailbox | Get-MailboxPermission";
Pipeline cmd = runspace.CreatePipeline(newCommand);
Collection<PSObject> results = cmd.Invoke();
runspace.Close();
so , i changed the code below
RunspaceConfiguration rsConfig = RunspaceConfiguration.Create();
PSSnapInException snapInException = null;
PSSnapInInfo info = rsConfig.AddPSSnapIn("Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.SnapIn", out snapInException);
Runspace myRunSpace = RunspaceFactory.CreateRunspace(rsConfig);
myRunSpace.Open();
Pipeline pipeLine = myRunSpace.CreatePipeline();
Command myCommand = new Command("Get-Mailbox -ResultSize Unlimited");
pipeLine.Commands.Add(myCommand);
Collection<PSObject> commandResults = pipeLine.Invoke();

Ipod 5th Generation 80 GB / Device Manager / Driver not Installed / Code 28
Well, where do I begin! Got my 1st Ipod 2 days ago & still unable to use it! I have installed & uninstalled the itunes 7 software numerous times. On phone w/ Apple for 1 hour...followed by online chat help w/ Dell.
I've tryed 4 different USB ports on my computer. The device Manager shows the Ipod w/ a ? and a ! in yellow. The add new hardware tells me, "Drivers for this device are not installed. Code 28." My computer reconizes that the ipod is plugged in, but will not do anything. There is no communication between the 2. Keeps telling me to insert cd for software for ipod.
Help! Does seem that other people are having similar issues. I think a software cd should of been provided w/ the ipod....not sure if that would of corrected my problem.Hi,
Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run. the Run dialog appears,
Type %temp%, then click OK.
locate and enter into the HP Installation temporary folder, start with the 7Z characters.
If you can see several folders starting with 7Z, locate the latest one.
Click the Address bar area, then the full address path will appear,
Copy the full path location by clicking CTRL + P while the path is selected.
Enter the Device Manager.
Right click the printer name with the error mark, then click Update Driver.
Select the second option to manually locate the driver.
Paste the temporary folder path and click Next (Keep Include Sub Fulders marked), the driver should be updated.
Please let me know of any change,
Shlomi

Follow the onscreen instructions, making sure to proceed all the way through the installation without canceling or exiting any screen.
Note
Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted, or an install error may occur. Also, if your software is still not finding your printer over the USB connection, review the following USB tips.
+ USB tips
Ensure that your USB cable is no more than 5 meters (16.4 feet) in length. (For best results, use a cable that is less than 2 meters (6 feet) in length.)
Try connecting the USB cable to a different USB connector on the computer. (For example, if you plugged the cable into a front USB port, try plugging it into a port in the back.)
If the USB cable is connected to a USB hub or a docking station for a laptop, it could cause the installation to fail. Even if you believe that your USB hub works fine, try connecting the USB cable directly to the computer during the device installation (when prompted). You can always move it back to the USB hub later.
If you need to use a USB hub, use one that is externally powered instead of using a non-powered hub.
When the installation completes, try using your printer.
Turn your printer on.

A few weeks ago an itunes upgrade did not install properly on my PC so I had to uninstall itunes and everything associated with it. I was able to reinstall itunes and it works fine including syncing with my ipod. However, now whenever I open my email (outlook) a box pops up stating MobileMe Services has stooped working. This happens a couple of times after I click to close the program. This a nusance and really slows down getting to my email. From what I've found MobileMe was something that used to be used by itunes to sync mobile devices but is no longer used by itunes. I can't find a way to remove this MobileMe from my PC. I've tried going into Contol Panel then Programs and Features to uninstall it but there is no button there to uninstall it. Any suggestions on how this can be removed?
Do you have a backup that you can restore from? Your old hard drive seems to be the problem.

On September 24, I got a message from the App Store saying there was an update of the Operating System on my MacBookPro laptop - OS X 10.9.5 - once I updated it, I got a message saying that there was an error in the update and that it did not install properly and that I should re-install the update. I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone help me?
You can manually download the Combo update if in doubt of the integrity of the OS 10.9.5
install on top of what you have, backups are always a good idea.

Hi Sometimes we have alternate ingredients that are added at 10% of the original ingredient's mass. There is no back-fill, we simply add less. If we add these to the alternate ingredients list with a factor of 0.1, and we do not make up for the other

Ok. So I have a file that was originally created with Flash 8. The file was opened in Flash 9 and published. The problem is that the text that I have in there is being cut off when published (publish preview only, The full publish works fine so far).
