  • IF YOU ORDERED AT 3AM AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED SHIPPING INFO YET or CHARGED ACCOUNT, PLEASE READ...

    I called a Verizon CSR this morning because I ordered my Iphone 4 at 3:10 AM EST, and I did not receive any tracking or shipping information yet, and I was starting to see several people that ordered after me receiving their phones.  So I decided to call a CSR and see what was going on, she told me that there was a problem with my CC, not going through and I should have gotten an email, which I didn't.  She reprocessed my CC and of course it did go through that time, but she wasn't sure if that re-set my prompt or not.  I checked my bank account and today my account was finally charged.  She did say that since they took my payment my phone should be shipped, but she did tell me that there are phones that were ordered that were on back order.  If your account has not been charged or you received a shipping information and you ordered your phone at like 3:00 am on 02/03, contact customer service.  There maybe a problem and they are not sending out emails letting you know.  I hope I still get my phone, otherwise I got up at 3:00 am for nothing.  Also, the reason my bank card did not go through is because my bank decided to do a system update and my payroll did not do into my account like it normally does, they had to manually post all direct deposits that day.   So it's not like I didn't have available funds!   I hope this helps some of you, had I not contacted a CSR, I would have never know, when I dial 611 it said my phone was going to ship on 02/10, and there was no problems.

    I had the same problem and my card was never charged but I had an order confirmation # that I had copied and pasted and e-mailed to myself the night the order was placed.  For a few days when I used the confirmation # in the "order status" on the Verizon website I received a message saying it was being "processed."  Then over the weekend I began receiving a message saying "technical difficulties" when I entered the confirmation # so I called today to see what was going on.  The CSR told me they had no record of my confirmation # (VERY weird since a few days before it worked on their website) and there was NOTHING they could do except tell me to re-order at 3am on the 9th.  WHAT?!?  Anybody else have this problem?

  • I Purchaced Quicktime Pro, But Have Not Received My Software Yet. HELP!

    Since I have a PC, I don't visit the Apple website very often. However, I need to make Quicktime movies from Flash and After Effects.
    Recently, I was offered an update for Quicktime (through a pop-up from Apple), and when I updated it, ALL of my Quicktime movies stopped working What a slimey way to make you buy new software!
    So I went to the Apple website and purchased the new version of Quicktime Pro, hoping that this would resolve the issue. I couldn't figure out if Apple was going to mail me the software, or if I was supposed to download it from the website.
    I have tried to read the support topics, and can't find this subject anywhere. It has been at least 2 weeks, and I haven't received anything from Apple, not from the internet and not in the snail mail. I sent an email to the company and have received NO REPLY!
    I am very frustrated by this and wonder if Apple actually knows what it is doing? How do they expect to keep customers, if they have such terrible customer service?
    Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to get my hands on the software that I purchased?

    Someone else may correct me, but to the best of my knowledge, QuickTime cannot deal with any Flash format newer than Flash 5. Because of that, the more recent versions of QT have removed Flash support pretty much completely. So for a Flash 8 video, I believe you'll need some other conversion tool. But with luck someone else here with more solid knowledge about Flash and conversion will chime in.
    As to the AfterEffects movies, what codecs (audio and video) were used and what precisely means "quit working". Will they not load, will they load but not play at all, or will they load and play but with problems?
    And again, it will probably help people offer suggestions if you post what version of QuickTime you're using. If it says it's up to date, I would presume it's 7.5.5, but check the version in QuickTime Player to confirm.

    daughter set up her ipad mini and put a passcode on but forgot code.  has not been set up on itunes yet or an icloud. did put in settings backup to icloud though. when trying to connect to itunes says ipad is disabled connect to itunes and itunes says need to put in passcode. help please thank you

    Your iPhone charger is 5W, whereas the iPad 1 charger is 10W. The iPhone charger will work, but the charge time will be more than double. If you buy a new charger, get the iPad 4 charger which is 12W. It will charge faster than the 10W charger.
    FYI
    The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
    Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

  • I downloaded my Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 design standard, student and teacher licensing and it load ed.  I am waiting for an email to finish up but I have not received it yet,  I had the serial number entered in and everything should have been good to go.

    I downloaded my Creative Suite 5.5 student teacher licensing software.  I all loaded fine in my Mac but at the end of the download it gave me a message that I would need to check my e-mail for further steps in order to be able to use the software.  I have not received this e-mail yet.  I had my email listed as <Removed by Moderator>
    Is there something that I need to show as proof of being a student yet?   I had to give my student id number in order to get the serial number.  I did not use my student e-mail address though. If that is the issue I can supply that also.  <Removed by Moderator>

    I have purchased the online number for Germany on Friday, 7th Sept but I have yet not received the number! Its been almost 3 days and I have not received any notification. In the email I received from skype, it says usually it takes 6 hours!! Will there be any confirmation from Skype, when i will get the number?

    For Germany I have read that it may take up to two weeks. something to do with the German govt. Skype has no control over this. I am not german, but have read this on other threads,

    There is no serial number. The software is activated via your Adobe ID.
    Sign in to creative.adobe.com with your Adobe ID, download the Cloud desktop app then download the software.

  • Have not received my $100 Gift Card yet.

    I know I am not the only one here going through this. Someone please help!
    This whole process started some time ago in September. I am just waiting on the $100 gift card itself at this point, which I am told can take up to three weeks. But this is the second time I am having to wait three weeks. The first time, before calling customer service, I had waited about 4-5 weeks without receiving the gift card in the mail. After calling customer service (who was quite nice and accommodating) it was to be that they would cancel the first gift card, which had apparently been mailed, and process/mail a second one to me. I was told that it could still take up to three weeks to receive this new gift card...
    Unfortunately, I still have not received even the second gift card and I am at the three week mark now.
    Has anyone been through this? Is there anything I can do??
