Have purchased an album on i tunes but one song will not play. Tried to authorise the computer to play it but still not doing it

Have bought new Now 35 album and one song won't play because it says it's not authorised on my computer! I have gone through the authorisation process but it still won't let me play the song. Does anyone know what I can do next? I did already download this song originally from You Tube but have since deleted it in case this is the cause of the unauthorisation.

Delete and redownload it if doing so is free in your country.

    Anyway, go to the iTunes command Store > Check for Available Downloads, and see if it is still there.
    If not, delete the "tmp" thing and its corresponding library entry, and then go to the home page of the iTunes Store, click on the link at the right for "Purchased," and  get a new copy.  This will probably solve the problem.
    But in the unlikely event that the new copy has the same problem, report it as a defective track to iTunes Customer Service.

  • I bought an album from iTunes on the computer. The songs were able to automatically transfer from the computer to my iPhone but not my sisters iPhone. I tried to connect my sisters iPhone to the computer to synch, but it will not synch onto her phone.

    I've tried closing out of iTunes.  I've shut down my mac.  I cannot get this flippin song downloaded, but the rest of the album downloaded fine.  What do I do now?

    I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
    (Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • My ipod will not sync with itunes.  The computer says its there but itunes does not.  I've tried everything suggested.  I keep getting an error message at the very end.

I end up in a mess, changing I-Ds, etc. I have paid an IT company to sort  things out, with some success, but still I keep getting thiese messages. Surely iTunes should be less complex than this.     If your iPod classic has enough storage capacity to hold your entire iTunes music library, here's one convenient way to do set it up to sync "everything" automatically, including any new changes.
    First, if your iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is not visible, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar.
    Select the iPod in the sidebar, under DEVICES.  Near the top, there is a bar of buttons, starting with Summary.  Click on Music next to Summary.  This is the iPod's Music screen, where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to your iPod.
    Check the box fo Sync Music.  NOTE:  If there are songs on the iPod that are not in your current iTunes library, those songs will be lost when you set up automatic syncing.  If this is a problem, please post back.
    Choose the option to sync Entire music library.  With this setting, when you click Apply, your entire iTunes music library syncs to the iPod, including playlists.  Going forward, any changes you make to your iTunes music library sync automatically to the iPod, the next time you connect it (or click Sync if the iPod is already connected).

    Assuming these tracks come from the iTunes store and you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the problem tracks from your iTunes library, don't hide from iTunes in the Cloud/iCloud if prompted, close and then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click thePurchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
    While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unticked.
    If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

    Wow, I've logged into adobe and never seen your response until now.
    I need to make the forums more of a daily stop I guess.
    Thank you for your response, When I go to the Archives, it states I have none. In addition, previously when I'd tried to move items to the archive, they just disappeared  
    Currently my desktop is not connecting at all, Everytime I connect, it's states "We have now logged you out" and requests I login again.
    I have of course rebooted,
    Gone into taskmanager, killed all the relevant threads,  tried again to login through the desktop, no luck, I'll have to uninstall it, make sure the threads are killed, then reboot it and then reinstall it, but I've not had the time to do that.
    On another note, and just as a point of reference, myself, personally, I hate these "cloud" file repositories (not to be confused with adobe cloud services which I love) but the file repositories themselves imho, are a blackhole of resource usage when one doesn't/isn't using them,
    Is there a way we can use it more of a "ftp" sort of thing, when I want to I can  put files there?  There is no way to "Download" the repository, no way to download the folders.. only individual files and then it takes I think three different steps before the download starts.. I find this very inhibiting.  Just an fyi. for what it's worth.
