Header Formatting in ME23N

Hi All,
In me23n while creating PO there are options for formatting header text. But we can not able to change the style of the SAPScript standard form. Is it possible to change the style or attached our own style for formatting header text?

Down payments for header data in Me23n

Hi experts,
can any one please let me know the table from which down payment displays in status of header data in me23n transaction. As i got the requirement to add down payment field in report for the status that down payment exists(some value) or not(zero).
As its structure is mepo1235 and fieldname is value05 but i couldnot find the table name.I tried to debug the me23n transaction but failed to get one.
please friends help me out in this problem.

but i need to calculate the sum of all these down payments. But the problem is some are negetive and some are positive. But in table EKBE negetive values are displayed as positive so im finding problem in calculating them.

I can think of two possible stumbling blocks:
What are your 8.6 options for "byte order" and "prepend array or string size"?
Overall, many file IO functions have changed with LabVIEW 8.0, so there might not be an exact 1:1 code conversion. You might need to make some modifications. For example, in 7.1, you should use "write file", the "binary file VIs" are special purpose (I16 or SGL). What is your data type?

I can able to download as excel using GUI_DOWNLOAD. But I don't know how to bring the first row of the above pasted image.

INVALID END HEADER FORMAT error

I have just installed the Oracle 9i database on windows NT server, but the
Oracle Database Configuration Assistant returns INVALID END HEADER FORMAT error, eachtime i attempt to create a new database.
Oracle 9i software is installed, but no database was created. How can i solve this problem?
or how can i create the database manaully?

Hi,
If you don't have a database error (ORA-), then you're probably hitting some sort of DBCA bug. I'd use the DBCA to generate scripts and then run the scripts manually to see if you can create a database that way.

Are you able to create scripts through DBCA if yes then you can create your database with help of scripts.
go through below link for manually database creation ( it is also some working in Oracle 9i. After scripts creation. Script creation is different then oracle 10g.)

Analyzer - Table header formatting

Hi @ll,
I`ve formatted a BEx Analyzer workbook to our requirements. The only thing I can`t change is the table header.. Could anybody tell me how to change the table header formatting?

Hi,
Open your workbook. Go to design mode, select the design item in the header and delete the design item.
Again click on design mode to come back to original workbook and click on header and delete the header bar and give the table header as per your requirement.
To format the table header, right click on header and use excel foramatting(Font size, font & font style).

Dear All
I have the same problem when installing Oracle9iasR2 on a windows 2000 IBM server
At the database configuration Assistant of the infrastructutre installation I am always getting this strange message Not a ZIP file (End Header Not found).
We have tried a lot off scenarios to install Oracle9iasr2 but the installation always fails at the database creation with the followning message
Not a ZIP file (End Header Not found).
We had also tried to do the installation using a different copy of CD's with no success.
Also the same installation on the same server was succesfull with O/S Win2003.
Then the whole installation fails .
If anyone has ever faced the same problem and had solved it please advice.

Insufficient information.
What is 9i? Are you referring to 9.0 or 9.2 and then that could be anything from 9.2.0.1 through 9.2.0.8.
And what is XP? Is this the HOME edition which is unsupported or something else? And which service pack?
It is impossible to advise you beyond suggesting you provide a lot more information and suggest you consider installing currently supported, not Neolithic, software.

Export to EXCEL 4m Discoverer Plus/Viewer doesnt retain Header Formatting ?

I am trying to export reports from Discoverer Plus and Viewer to XCEL
but the Header's Formatting like Bold and Background Color etc are
not being exported as seen in Plus.

i.e the export to HTML is retaining the format but it is putting the heading into multiple cells..there by making it look bad when opened in Excel.
Wheras in EXCEL export it doesnot retain formatting like Bold,etc it merges all the cells of teh first row and is putting it there which is much better to view.
Is there anything we can do about it ??

Unwanted side head formatting in text frames

In my document, I use many text frames within anchored frames. Without my knowledge of having done anything, all of my text frames now have side heads within them. So all of the text that I entered has disappeared. See example below.
I can see it if I stretch the text frame large enough. See below:
Now, when I create new text frames with text within them, they look fine. They maintain their proper formatting. But all of the ones created before a few days ago look like above.
In addition, the footer changed formatting w/o my doing anything. The left side of the footer moved in to the left to the column margin, as if there was supposed to be a side head in the formatting of the footer text box. I imported page formatting from another document and this problem corrected itself.

heck still happens to me.
(more than once)
even today, to ONE chapter of a 14+chapter document..
I too did not CHANGE any of my settings, it just decided it wanted my text boxes to have side headers.
(which is why I found your question while trying to find an answer.)
The fastest way I have found SO FAR to fix it, is to
Select each text box,
Right Click
Object Properties
The Text Frame Properties box shows up, and it has a check box in the Flow -Room for Side Heads pane.
Now, I have no idea why, but my FM11 decided that it wanted 1.5" with .25gap on my text boxes.
I had to un-check, and Apply.
but it was easier than copying the information and putting it in a new text box, (which oddly enough, also works... )

Date prompt to displayed in header&Format date format in header MM/DD/YYYY

we have a date prompt. Based on the date selection on prompt, it has to be appeared on the Report header. Actually RELEASED_DATE is timestamp format. we need to format this to dispaly only MM/DD/YYYY format in Report header section.

We are displaying the same RELEASED_DATE with timestamp in Report section
<?param@begin:CRSU_RELEASED_DATE?>

can you paste the timestamp being displayed?
You can use, format-date function or other, but its all based on the data you have for DATE.

Excel Layouts Header formatting

Does anyone know why format changes to the header of excel bps layouts
in config do not work?

      There is clear workaround for this.You can do this: lets say your header is in
      Row 3 / cells D3,E3 and F3. You can copy these into Row 4/ cells D4,E4 and
      F4 (basically into the next row) and hide Row 3.
      Now you can format Row 4/ cells D4, E4,F4 and display them the way you
      would like.This is seamless to the user.SAP doesn't
      allow overwriting the predefined cells for header
      and data columns.

Workbook Header Format Problem

Dear all,
I have a workbook in BI 7.0, What i need is to add a logo and make headers of the query bold.
as i save my workbook and run again, i can see the logo, however my format changes in query (that is header color change font change) disappears.
In bw3.0 there used to be a format change button in bex tool bar apart form excel format change. Where it is or how can i change my formats at query header ?

The concept is a bit different in BI 7, you need to change using the excel
Format --->Styles. Here you will find SAPBEX***** styles which you can change based on your requirement.

CSS not overriding a System Default Column heading format

Hi
I have a column heading which format has been changed. The font and the background color. The best part of it is that it has been set to System Default and nobody knows who did it or how to turn it back to the out of the box style.
I thought that by creating a new skin and setting new css styles that it would clear or override this little mishap, but no.
Can anyone help us?

It's risky, but you can try changing the file
[catalog]/root/system/metadata/_datatype_formats
I've had to do that before with success, but backup first, try in a test environment etc. etc. etc.

Table Heading Format for WebHelp - FM to RH

We are using Tech Comm Suite 4.0 (FM 11 and RH 10) on a Windows 7 platform.
I usually set up a RoboHelp project for online help, and then the writer responsible for it publishes to WebHelp from within FrameMaker, and just points to the RH project I create.
We are getting inexplicable results in the heading row of our tables in WebHelp output.
This is the style information in the published WebHelp for the heading row in a table:

We would like to put shading in the heading row for WebHelp (but not in PDF output, which is usually printed in black/white). So, in our custom style sheet, we have added the following line item:
p.th {
background-color: #ddeaff;
(I have omitted all of the irrelevant style information.)
We point RH to the custom style sheet when we set up the RH project. However, the published output seems to totally ignore this style information.
Does anyone have an idea as to why the WebHelp seems to be ignoring the style information we provide in our custom style sheet?

Hi Jeff,
OK, I just imported the FM book into RH, made certain RH pointed to the correct custom CSS file, and republished to WebHelp.
It does not shade the heading row.
Note, as you know, there is no real FM paragraph style or table row style named "heading row" to which you can assign attributes. In the table designer, on the third tab, you can set shading for the heading, but it still doesn't allow a person to format a "heading row" style per se.
