Help in finding the Standard Datasource

Hi to all
I need to generated report in BI for the details of the Transport Status of Solution Manager.
Can any suggest me to wich Standard datasource sholud i look for these details

You would have to go with generic extraction....i dont think there is standard extractor that pulls records from these tables...and we have a generic extractor on our system

Can't find the standard infoobject/infocube in BW system

I have studied BI for only 2 months. When I try to extract data from R/3 system, I find that I can't find the standard Infoobject/infocube such as 0plant, 0purchaseorganize both in RSA5 and RSA6. Our basis team advice me to install a patch for my SAP gui. So could anybody tell me which patch should I install

I also has met this kind of issue , i can't found out infoobject( 0CO_AREA,0BUS_AREA,0RESP_PERS...) in BW(ECC6),
And i have perform the steps base on your instruction,but still can't found 0PLANT(i have not install datasource),
Please help me;
By the way,
Do we need install datasource at frist,then go to RSA1-> click on BI Contenct button on left -> click ........
If yes,how does i know which datasource need be install;
for installing 0PLANT - go to RSA1-> click on BI Contenct button on left -> click on object types -> Expand infoobject -> click on select objecst and clifk on find and type 0PLANT and click on transfer selections

I have activated the standard datasource in r/3? how to identify active?

Hi All,
i have activated the standard datasource in r/3 ? and i have replicated the same in the bw system and in the source system of r/3 i have replicated it and i can find the data source there ? but how to identify whether the datasource is active in the bw system or not ?
i cant see a tick mark on the data source does it determine it is active?
Pls guide me on this?

When i right click on the data source i can see this option:
1. assign infosource
2. maintain datasource in the source system etc?

If it is a standard Script Output see that all config in NACE tcode was done correctly and in the Application document the output type was properly defined and attached to a medium, partner and all communication related things like printer name, when to print the output and number of messages etc are entered in the document
the go to the related application Tcode
(for sales order goto VA02 or VA03)
(delivery -VL02N or VL03N)
for Invoice VF02 or VF03
for PO -goto ME9F
enter doc number, Issue Output to -> screen/printer
then see the output
step 1 : copy the z layout into testing client thru SCC1.
step2 : go to se71 and check modified layout.
step3 : if it is under logistics.. go to TCODE "NACE".
u will see various applictions for each business process.
there u have configure ur related layout according to requirments,
for example u consider for Request fo Quatation..
there is APPLICATION called "EA"
click and enter into it. configure it with ur requirments, for help consult with ur functonal consaltant, and save it.
step 4 : goto tcode ME9A for requst for quatation(RFQ).
step 5 : enter test data avalable and check it with message display.
it is same for other applications like Contract agreament --> ME9k
invoice --> vl02n
and goes on..

Hi Tamkris
1. First go to help.sap.com and simply search for the datasource. You would come to a page where detailed description of the datasource is given.Just note that SAP sometimes plays spoilsport and for few Datassources it doesnt give the table names. But in your case for 0CO_OM_CCA_9, details are given.
2. If in some cases table names are not given, simply go to rsa3. open another session ST05. Activate the trace.In Rsa3, enter the datasource name. And then run extraction. Go to ST05 switch off the trace and then view the log.
In the log, all tables that are hit are shown
3. And if all this doesnt help, start debugging the datasource. TYpically these would be function module based. So dig in!

Unable to extend the standard datasource 2LIS_13_VDKON

SAP by the following fields: MCKOMV-KNUMA_BO, MCKOMV-KNUMH and MCKOMV-KNUMV. We allways get the error message "End phase 002 - D0322".

i checked that one, but you can ignore that one.
please check the data source status is green that's it. after including that fields in the data source the status change to red. then go to data source maintenance screenselect the field selection check boxand then save it.
now the status changes to yellow.
now select inactive link against your data source in job control--status will turn as green.
now you can do the set up table fill up for that data source.
before doing the transport please make sure the following conditions. this will be displayed when your enhancing the data source.

Diagnosis
     The extract structure was generated successfully.
Procedure
     Now choose the maintenance screen of the DataSource. After that, the
     status display (traffic light) jumps from red to yellow.
     Please make note of the following before you transport the changed
     structure MC13VD0KON into another system:
     o   Run the transport when the target system is not being booked.
         Otherwise you will need to initialize it because documents are lost
         during this time.
      o   None of the clients in the target system in the V3 update for the
     application 13 should contain data. If you are unsure, start the V3
     update of the application 13 in all clients.
o   If there is still data in the central delta management of the target
     system, it must be retrieved by BW before the transport takes place.
o   If you have already reconstructed within this target system, it may
     be that the data still exists in the reconstruction tables. After
     the transport, you can no longer transfer these entries into BW. You
     must delete the contents of the reconstruction tables of the
     application 13 in the target system and run another reconstruction
     if need be.
o   If there is an update log in the target system, you cannot read the
     log data of the application 13 after the transport has been run. You
     can only read it again once data is booked and the last log entry
     overwritten.
Use the report RMCSBWCC to display a log for the changed extract
structure in the target system, to see if any of the above problems
exist. An additional switch deletes all update logs for the application
of the selected extractor.
Please also note that you must reactivate the transfer structures when
you change the extract structure after replicating a DataSource.

Cannot see/find the standard IDOC/BAPI in imported Business system

Dear Friends ,
We have installed the PI 7.1 and registered the CRM 7.0 via RZ70 in SLD of PI as techincal system and created the business system as well . Then i have mapped to the corresponding product and SWCV.
But when i import the business system in ID , i couldn't find the standard(pre-delivered) sender and receiver interfaces ( like IDOC etc., ) .
Please provide your valuable inputs .

Have you added the correct SWCV to the BS and TS?
i think you have not linked the TS and the Product correctly .
Create a Product->for this product create a SWCV->go to technical system reference the
created product there->Go to BS and check select the TS created earlier.
after doing above step , refresh sld cache and check again.

Hi All,
I need help in finding the number of occurrences of a pattern in a table's column's data.
Consider sample data - one row's column from a table:
"S-S-S-A-S-S-P-S-S-B-S-A-P-S-S-C"
My requirement is:
I should get the count of S's which are immediately preceded by A or P.
for the above data i should get count as 3+2+1=6 (S-S-S-A, S-S-P, S-A)
The pattern data is stored as VARCHAR2 type.
