HELP! iPhone 3G stuck on apple logo and occasionally switching to yellow screen, cant connect to computer!

A few days ago my iPhone 3G 8GB was working fine, i believe the battery went dead and as i charged it up again it was stuck on the apple logo. I plugged it into the computer and no response, i tried rebooting the iPhone and putting it in DFU mode, but none of them worked. Occasionally the iPhone switches from being stuck in the apple logo to a yellow screen, about every 10 minutes. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
First of all, make sure that it is fully charged (charge for at least 30 minutes). Second, hold down the home and the sleep/wake button simultaneously for 10 - 20 seconds until the apple logo appears. If nothing works, try to backup the phone (if possible) and put the phone into recovery mode. To get that, open itunes and connect the phone to the computer. Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. As soon as the screen goes black, release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You can now restore the iPhone using iTunes.

You would need to restore your iPhone by following the steps in the article below. You would need to put your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. The version of iOS that will be installed will depend on what version of iTunes you are running.

Iphone 4 stuck between apple logo and loading circle after trying to update to IOS5
Since trying to update to IOS5 and getting the errors that most people are getting i.e. an unexpected error occurred (3004), my Iphone is now stuck between the Apple logo and the loading circle and it just keeps cycling between those 2 screens. It is not even recognised by Itunes when I plug it in.....
Anyone else got this? Any advice to try and get my Iphone 4 out of this cycle?I too am having exactly the same problem, I can't even get to do a restore. Please can someone help?

IPhone 3G Stuck at Apple Logo and won't charge from USB

My wife recently dropped her iPhone 3G down the toilet (clean water!), after retriving it and allowing it to dry I turned it on but there was no response. I plugged it in to the mains and switched it on, at first all looked good, it lit up and displayed the Apple logo, however after about 20 seconds the screen went blank and nothing else happened. I pressed the power button again and the Apple logo reappeared, again for about 15-20 seconds. It does nothing else and isn't charging.
Having read other posts about performing a factory reset, I plugged the phone into my computer but it doesn't come on at all (not even the Apple logo). The USB port and cable work as they charge my iPhone4 fine. This means that Windows/iTunes are unable to detect it is even there so I can't turn it on to perform a reset.
Any advice? Shorted battery?

Help: iPhone 3GS Stuck on Apple logo screen
Today my iPhone was not connecting to the wifi network so I decided to "Reset Network" on the iPhone. Well, during the reset, it went to the Apple logo screen and is stuck in that screen. I cannot turn off the phone, tried to reset pressing the home and on/off together for 10 seconds and it is still stuck on that screen. I tried to restore but iTunes does not recognize that the phone is plugged to the computer. Has anyone seen this? Do I have to send it to Apple for repair?

Hey guys,
I woke up this morning with my iphone 4S stucked in an apple logo screen. I did put it in DFU mode and tried to restore which ended up in having errors: 1603, 1611, 1604, 21. each of them in a different trial.
Do you have any solutions on how to start it up?
It doesn't have jailbreak or any 3rd party software on it. It was running iOS6.0I also discovered that If I push it to DFU and then use Recboot to exit it it will show 4 lines from the console over the logo and than screen turns black until the battery will die.

when my i phone connected with i tunes, i thunes asked if i wanted to download the newest version of i tunes. I clicked ' ok' and then my i phone only gave a black screen with te apple logo, it doesnt respond to turning off or the home button, when i connect to i tunes it cannot connect with my i phone because sometings wrong....please help!

try a hard reset, search for it here or on google it might help. -

Hold both Home and Power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time of holding both buttons. Click the Update or Restore button that iTunes offers.
